clate baker: Very confusing parking sign in lot that resulted in my car being towed last night when I thought I was legally parked. Everyone read the sign you won’t see pulling in the lot unless you drive the wrong way on a one way street to enter the lot. Hopefully the bank does a better job writing it’s loan documents.

I had almost given up on doing a refi because I am self employed and two other banks would not even look at me. They only want "Cookie Cutter" customers. My friend told me about Systematic Bank and said that they are a bank that really tries their best to get customers what they want and need. I am truly and honestly greatfull that Kyle and Terri went to bat for me and got me what I wanted. ALL future financial help will be sought out by this Bank. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

This bank has been in downtown Springfield for over 90 years and is great at making you feel like family. Their product offerings are hard to beat and their staff is genuine. I love having an account where I know it makes a difference, where I can budget my finances effectively, and where I can stop by anytime during open hours for a chat, free drip coffee, and cookies. Their online services are pretty cool too! Systematic is locally-owned and operated, something I believe in supporting, and they're a business I recommend wholeheartedly.

Jimmi May: Stockman's Bank might be a great bank. I couldn't get past a teller I asked for help. She seemed like the most uninterested person in the world. Brittney, Bethany, Baily something like that. My first impression was she didn't care and she wasn't friendly.
Kathie Sanderson: Find a better bank. Finally closed my bank account here after ~10 years of mediocre service. Slowly transitioned to a Charles Schwab checking/savings, which offers services that reach far beyond anything First Home Savings/Stockmens Bank has ever offered. Reasons I left and why you should consider leaving/settling with a different bank:1. Never expect a loan unless you have 800+ credit, and even then you will be marked with higher interest rates than anywhere else because they really do NOT want to loan out to you. (This is confirmed by a retired loan officer I was best friends with).2. They are overprotective of where your debit card is used. If you do not notify them that you are traveling, or if you place an order online with your debit card on websites similar to Etsy where your card is charged through 3rd party systems, they INSTANTLY flag your card and void it without notifying you. If they have to flag any transactions, they automatically close your card without asking you. Even if it were you MEANING to make the purchase, they still void your card and send you a new one. The card takes 3-4 weeks minimum to mail-in, so best of luck being without a card for that long all due to the reason of them THINKING your card was stolen. (I once had 3 new cards voided over the course of 4 months all because I began ordering items online that they flagged as "fraud").3. If you do experience a fraudulent charge, they are NOT willing to refund you at all. They blame you for the fraud and make it near impossible to work with. (I once had ~$4000 fraud charged from my account via PayPal, but it had not been withdrawn from my bank account yet. I called First Home and told them to freeze my account since it had not gone through. They told me they understood the situation and froze my account. The $4000 was withdrawn a day later, and they told me they forgot to freeze my account. They then proceeded to tell me it was my fault and that I needed to contact PayPal and work with them first. PayPal was very unhappy, but I EVENTUALLY received my funds months later with no help from First Home Savings.4. They just created a mobile app after transferring under Stockmens Bank name. The mobile app is probably the least impressive app you'll have on your phone. Your password resets so often you'll become used to not utilizing it at all anyway. Most you can do with the app is view your statement and account balance anyway, fairly useless.5. They are one of the few banks left that charge insane fees for ATMs/overdrafts/return/general bank fees. This should be everyone's #1 reason to not use this bank. Find a good bank that covers your fees for you. If you think that a bank has a right to charge you an overdraft fee because you have "insufficient funds," then you MUST BE the owner of the bank. Though if you get an overdraft fee, you are either are in the act of closing the account or you just do not have the extra funds to cover an automatic withdrawal. If the latter is the case, why would a bank feel right to charge a financially problematic customer an accruing $33 bank fee that adds $33 every single day? (I just experienced this due to my college attempting to withdrawal a large sum from this bank account I've been slowly closing, and have just been making small deposits into for covering small automatic withdrawals. So instead of contacting me in anyway, calling me, emailing me, or anything they instead charge me $33 on Tuesday, $66 on Wednesday, $99 on Thursday, and $99 today. I checked my account today, saw these issues, and decided to walk in and attempt to get this misunderstanding resolved. Instead, I get threatened with being pushed to collections if I did not pay the overdue balance right then and there. No payment plan. No understanding. Just demanding $300 payment. I closed my account instantly, told them how insanely greedy they are, and happily walked out of that building for the last time.DO NOT USE THIS BANK. DEPOSIT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY INTO SOMEPLACE THAT APPRECIATES YOU, NOT JUST YOUR FUNDS.
Beau Prewitt: Customer service is why you should choose a small bank. I hear other people complain about the hassle of dealing with their bank and I don't deal with any of that. You call and immediately a actual person answers. The down side is they don't have credit cards.

Clint Cochrane: I've always been weary of local banks. I have always wanted to remain a database entrance nothing more to my bank. Then I realized the benefits of a local bank thanks to FHB.I make weird money withdrawals (3,000 in $2 notes), and they are as accommodating as you could imagine. Everyone I have dealt with has been very pleasant.And 2.25% is the best return I have found on a checking account.

Abra Hay: This branch is the worst in Springfield ten fold. Went up to drive up lane to get balances of both accounts because ATM had 3 patrons in line. Waited at drive up for 4 min and was treated like dirt. Im not looking for a lunch time conversation but geez you can be jovial towards customers. I will never be back to this branch it is worth the extra driving to go anywhere else! Learn some manners and remember to be courteous to your customers for they are the ones who are providing you with their business. Great Southern is not the only Bank in Springfield just remember that.

If you go to the w kearney branch and you find yourself talking to Renee Wadlington dont just get up and leave but run!! This lady doesnt have a customer service bone in her body. Her idea is to point the blame on whoever or whatever instead of resolving the issue. She was so aggrivating i couldnt finish the dispute i initiated and had to walk away from her..her blame game was just too much. The customer service is why i switched to Bank of America and this lady just confirmed that I made the right decision!! Brandon the branch manager at this location however is truly an asset to this bank! He took my complaint seriously and if great southern is smart they will realize what a great manager he is. Move Brandon up and move Renee out!!

Erica Boan: This banks actual operating hours rarely matches what they post online. If you go inside they tell you to make an appointment. More than once they have messed up basic deposits and withdrawals through the drive thru. They have deposited or withdrew money from a business or personal account that was supposed to be done in the other account. I suspect they are closing this banking location because they told me to move my safety deposit box again. This is the second time they have asked me to do this as they closed the first location I was using. I am in the process of moving to another bank.
J R: Terrible branch that won't do anything and actually tells you to seek the other locations for your needs. Not sure why this one exists. Was told they cannot do anything but "account maintenance?" Go elsewhere. Hours of availability are also terrible, but every US Bank is that way now.
Rebecca Talley: US Bank as a corporation could care less about good customer service but this branch in particular is exceedingly unhelpful. I closed one of my three accounts (soon to be all three), but somehow it didn't get closed properly (according to the US Bank customer service rep Melanie). Seriously avoid US Bank as an organization and definitely use another branch (shouldn't be hard considering their lobby is closed without an appointment and the drive through is only open a whopping two hours a day during the week - no weekend hours) if you absolutely must use US Bank save yourself the headache and use a different branch.

Kyra Fjell: Every single week, I go to this location to use the atm, and every week it's a new issue. The machine doesn't take money one week, next week it's down completely, the week after that, doesn't take checks. It's always something and its absolutely frustrating. Makes banking with them an absolute nightmare. This is the closest location to me, and the fact I have to go to a different one, an extra 20 minutes out of my way, just to use the atm, is crazy. Hopefully they fix it soon or else they'll lose business, because this has been going on for MONTHS.

Shirley Ethridge: My husband had his debit card stolen and then used. The convenienceof same day retrieveal for a debit card is great! The staff for the most part is great. However, I do not feel at all, they take fraud seriously!We filed a police report and the bank can't tell us half the info we need! Such as time and store number nor location, that is what we were told.It takes a FULL 10 DAYS to even credit charges at all. When my husband ask what kind of procedure this was, they informed him this is like any other bank. Not true, I had my debit card stolen along with his, Capital one had credits back on the account within 2 days, and a full investigation. My son's prepaid company Rushcard already has his credits back within 2 days as well! My husband could not even shut his card off on the app, vs I could to help prevent any further spending.By the time he got in the bank at 9am several charges already occurred, where as mine stopped because I was able to cut mine off in my app until a bank rep was available for me at capital one. This is awful! The platform is dinosaur 1995! No features at ALL! My husband will be moving banks after this!Dually noted, they have a "toll free line" to call for missing/stolen cards. Seconds matter in situations like this. He did not have a number if he didn't have a card to call from on back! Whereas, I was able to open my banking app within seconds of realizing what was going on, and shut it off.NOW my options are banking taking reality that fraud exist and gives us in matter of seconds to stop it further , this is Capital One of course! Everything matters in situations like this, for our protection! Seconds, time everything. In no way am I endorsing any bank, however, an Arvest Rep proceeds to tell my husband this is just like all other Banks...REALLY!For the sake of 2019, security , and peace of mind get features that are not uncommon such as my son's prepaid bank Rushcard you can pause your card. However it is taken on for identity, do it! Set it up in the app, re-evaluate your "so called normal process like other Banks" Holidays are coming up, fraud/theft of debit cards are the highest, I feel sorry for the bankers that endure or become a victim, because Arvest will make them a victim too!I truly hope to see Arvest up their security features at the touch of a button. We need to trust you with the money we deposit/do banking with.

Jake Keck: Can’t get ahold of a single person there.
Jezzy Garbanzo: Many of the reviews indicate a need for improved Saturday service. Just curious why this hasn’t been addressed. I picked the location because it is close to my home. Unfortunately, it’s not close to my work. I went in this morning, Saturday, to access my bank box. I was told no one working this morning has codes to open the vault and I would have to return Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Here’s one more review to indicate a need for improved Saturday service. Incidentally, if I had needed a teller, I would’ve been fifth in line.

Daisy Chain: They wanted to charge me $7 to cash a check that was written by someone with an account at US BANK. So if you have an account there they will charge people money to cash checks you write to them. Total rip off! Plus to cash the check they wanted to PROFILE me asking me personal financial questions about where I work and such. Just to cash a check wrote out to me by one of their own customers. NO THANKS! I banked there years ago and the "hidden" fees are outrageous just to have an account!

Well what do you know....they no longer have tellers on Saturday! Why are you making it harder for your customers to bank with you? It just doesn't make any sense. Totally unacceptable.

Since it was such a large amount I couldn’t use the ATM machine or whatever it was. Just absolutely ridiculous. I am switching banks on Monday.2 stars because the people are friendly. But anytime I go through the drive through it takes soooo long. I have to make sure I go when I’m not in a rush because they take so long. And it’s not their fault- I’ve only ever seen 2 people working there. In fact one time I went to cash in some coins and they couldn’t do it because “there is only one person who knows how to operate the machine and they aren’t here today.” Every time I go to this location it makes me want to switch banks and I don’t want to go to the other locations because they are so far from my house. They really need to get more people in there.

Erin Roberts: I don’t bank here but tried to use their sketchy ATM since my bank isn’t in town. Their machine stole my debit card for “security reasons”. I had to call about 10 times over 2 days before I could get someone to answer the phone and they said they’ve shredded the card and there’s no way to get it back. Thanks for nothing.

ATM out of paper to print, confusing on depositing checks- no explanations on how it works by scanning. Manager doing small talk over helping customers while customers wait.

I am driving right by there, so I planned to make my deposits there. I get there and they have no tellers. Nowhere on the website is it clear what services are available and not on a particular day. The people there certainly didn't care about it either, just like at most branches I've been too. Do yourself a favor and do not bank with US Bank unless you need their extensive branch network.

Angela Jordan: So my Mom had stayed with this bank when it changed names like four times and loved her bank so I opened up my account and you know I love them. The bank manager is great and will actually speak with you over the phone incredible I know... Hey today I had the pleasure going through the drive-thru and Haley was my customer service rep and she not only made a deposit for me however she also walked me through the processes of my notifications all of this through the drive-thru incredible. You know if it were me I would throw a hundred bucks in a savings account here at US Bank have a direct deposit $25 a paycheck and that money is going to add up and then use it for vacation next year or use it for your Christmas money this year this way you can try it and see how you like it. I'm telling you I'm brilliant LOL.

Not personable, you ask for things you need, they behave like it's totally an imposition.The lady who helped me will be why I'm looking for another bank.. I wish the bank on Glenstone would have stayed opened on Saturday's. They're professional, yet very personable, helpful, and kind. But because of this Bank on Campbell and primrose will be why I'm looking for another bank.

Ryan Cassidy: Excellent customer service by Brandon and Christian. Came in needing a new bank account and even with short staff and a long line, they rock!!! Would definitely recommend 100 percent for a new account!!
Rogue Rose: I changed banks and went to Academy In 2019 because the rep said they were more convenient with flexible hours than the bank I had at the time (and have gone back to) and a few other things. Within a month the hours change to be EXACTLY the hours I worked so I was never able to go in besides my day off (if it happened to line up). I had rude employees on several occasions, they looked like I was a pain and a bother to them for making them work. When closing my account (and my fiance did as well), they didn't even care. My fiance has worked with banking, a standard question is why are you closing and the guy "helping" close the accounts didn't ask or looked like he cared. I have encouraged my friends and family to never bank here. Also, it's been 2 years and I am still getting emails and letters regarding the account and updates with the company and an updated card. So I dont even know if the rep even closed the accounts correctly.

Customer service is usually better than this, your employees are usually on top of everything but that one’s priorities were off majorly. Get a date on your own time not on the clock.

Old Missouri Bank: what do users think?
Brooklyn Stoops: As a personal banker myself, I was very disappointed with their “Customer Experience” service. I went with a friend to the National location Tuesday 6/13/2023 to help her close out a couple accounts. When we first walked in we were greeted with silence…no one welcomed us in or tried to talk with us. We stood there for a few minutes before the lady at the front desk asked what we needed. We told her we needed to close a couple accounts and she said she would get someone for us. A few minutes later she told us to walk to the back where the teller line is and she would help us close our accounts. When we got to the teller line the lady behind the desk was very nice but not experienced enough to close out the account. We then had to go over to a personal bankers desk for him to start fill out the closed account forms. When it was all said and done. We got the cash from the accounts and left. This morning 6/16/2023, we noticed on her online banking both accounts were still open…money was transferred out of her checking and into the savings account, and the joint checking was showing a direct deposit coming through the account. When we called to see why the accounts were still open they told us their back office takes care of closing accounts. When he told us this I was in shock. As a personal banker myself I have been trained to instantly turn off debit cards so no other transactions can come through the account and the account needs to be in pending close the night the account was closed so that way the account can fully close through end of day processing. I know how all of this works and for them to say on the phone and tell us this is normal for their closing procedures is astonishing. I have and never will bank with Old Missouri Bank after this.
S Cothron: After calling to verify getting a check cashed from my attorney i was told they would gladly take care of it for me only to make the drive to be told they will not.honor the check which is written on OMB check unless i was in the lobby because of the ammount what a joke i will never bank with a place of this nature this is so frustrating
Heather Jones: I use 4 different banks, and this one is my favorite. The staff at the S National location is friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The rewards programs can't be beat even by online banks, and in the several years I've had my accounts with them, they've never messed up, overcharged me, or in any way failed my expectations. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the app is not the greatest; I do wish there were a couple more features that some of the Big Box Banks offer, but OMB is a small, regional bank, so it's understandable. I'm willing to forgo the extras for great service.
