Teresa M: Formerly known as Metropolitan Bank It's the first time in over 40 years I had to stand at the teller window and fill out my own form for a wire transfer, barely understanding how to do so. Even the teller had to check with another teller, she didn't understand it either. Customer Service is not the same as it was when it was Metropolitan Bank and I'm going to be looking for another bank to do business with.

Ian O'Dell: Commerce bank has great in person customer service, but their call center is atrocious. It takes about an hour to get them on the phone every single time. They really need to take a hard look at their call center and make some significant changes. I've had about enough at this point. Don't put your money in this bank if over the phone customer service is important to you.
adam lanter: Short version: this branch is the brick and mortar version of the Nigerian prince in your email inbox and you should avoid them.Long version: they will disregard your instructions and lock you out of your accounts as a result despite warning them twice 2 months before and 1 month before. Then after being locked out of your accounts for almost a week you can get ‘help’ from someone like Becca with the desk. But she doesn’t actually want to help, she would rather be confrontational and act like she’s saving you while giving you attitude and talking down to the customer for mistakes the bank committed. They also don’t have a manager according to her either, until she found out when I had to be at work, then the manager just couldn’t be available while I was there. But it is now Thursday and I have not gotten a call back from their manager, so maybe she really wasn’t lying! Their student credit cards also won’t work over 50% of the time at places the card holder gets cashback at if you have a checking account on the same bank account. It’s taken 3.5 years for this branch to get this far to understanding the problem and there is no solution in sight either according to this branch.

Their checks are only worth a portion of what's wrote on them.Tried talking to a manager who was short and rude. So I called to talk to what they called a customer advocate and was far worse. I will never except a check from that bank again or do business with them or anyone who does.

That’s cool so we do that and they cash a fairly large check for her even though she’s not on my account with no issues after verifying the funds. Now we get another check and we’re told at the same branch that they can’t cash it even though it’s quite a bit smaller cause she’s not on the account? I’m so glad I’m moving soon so I can stop banking here. So beyond stupid.

Kendell Holdren: Kaitlyn was beyond helpful and so kind. After having a bad experience with the other location she assured me it was taken care of. I am beyond thankful for how supportive she was and that she took the time out of her day to help me. She made me feel like she truly cared about me as a customer. This is by far the best great southern location in the area.

Shannon DeVries: I was really disappointed in this branch. It is located close to my work so I can make it there before they close (I couldn't believe they are open until 7 pm- positive score toward star rating). I went inside to talk to them about two letters I had received in the mail, and brought those letters with me. One letter said that my automatic withdrawals were being dropped, the other said welcome to the Great Southern family, they couldn't wait to serve my loan needs. I was confused about the conflicting statements and why my automatic withdrawals were being dropped. My car loan had been through Great Southern for 3 years, and I still had approximately a year left on my car loan. Either way, I wasn't expecting what would happen next. The man who met with me seemed to be annoyed by the fact that I was asking for help. I explained that my wallet had been stolen in October 2016, but I had changed all my checking information shortly after in November 2016, and Great Southern hadn't had any issues with taking money out of my new account until JULY 2017. Suddenly, over 7 months later, they are having problems with my account through another bank. (sounds fishy?? -when they could repossess my vehicle with just over $1000 left on my loans. Several friends said I should contact the BBB about this gut feeling I had in the first place). Needless to say I wasn't pleased, but casually mentioned that there must have been some mistake in the paperwork side on their part. The man refused to acknowledge that Great Southern was in any way at fault for this transaction issue. I even said, "well not your branch in particular, but somewhere there was a miscommunication," and again he argued with me and tried to put blame on me, but couldn't explain how this could happen that they correctly took money out of my new account for over 7 MONTHS, and nothing had changed during that time! How sad. I definitely wouldn't recommend this branch now in how I was treated. I am glad to say they AREN'T my bank and no longer service my loan!

Heather Edwards: I am not a Great Southern Customer but I was very pleased with how I was treated at this branch today. I drive all over Greene Co. for my work and I found myself needing to get 2 copies made but not having time to drive all the way back to my office. I stopped by my bank thinking I could pay for copies but was told it is their policy not to make copies even for account holders. So I left very frustrated and went across the street to Great Southern. They were very friendly and made me copies without hesitation. It's a tiny little branch but everyone was very kind and attentive while I was there.

Jamie Obernuefemann: We have done business with BluCurrent for 4 yrs and have had 3 car loans through them. We have been great customers and wanted to do more business with them recently, however the customer service in the loan department has been horrible . We could not get anyone to call us back without constantly having to call them. We were trying to purchase another car and pay off our current car loan. They kept giving us different amounts they would lend us, which was never enough to even buy the car. They acted like they didn't even want to work with us although we have paid one loan off early and have 2 other good standing loans. They also only offered us a 1/3 of the amount of a personal loan we were asking for. We took our business to TelComm Credit Union who having been amazing and welcoming. We have one loan left there and are looking into refinancing it to finish out the loan with TelComm and be done with BluCurrent
Nick Jungen: I had some accidental charges from discover, a total mixup and miscommunication between the 3 parties (myself, BC, and Discover), and they were able to refund those fees and get my money back very quickly. The folks there are all very nice and it is a great bank to use! Totally recommend these guys!

Deanna Buchanan: Banked here for over 5 years. Closed my account today due to the absolute lack of customer service. Spoke with a total of 5 different representatives, “we Will absolutely call you back” but didnt receive answers. After a week of runaround i had to physically go in to a location, where i was told that there was nothing they could do for me. Fees are fees that’s fine I’ll pay them, but they do not care about giving you answers, just passing you off to the next person to deal with the problem of WHY you are being charged almost $100 in foreign fees. 2 very untrained unprofessional representatives Have ensured i will never bank with this credit union again.

I got card services and asked if she could help me transfer money from one account to another. She was extremely rude and snappy and said I need member services she can’t help me. I said okay, how can I get ahold of them? It shows them open online but when I call I can’t get thru. I asked if they were open she very hatefully said mam, I don’t know, but you’ve called card services not member services! I can’t help you. The app also needs work, bill pay is a joke. 4 week wait for debit cards. Fraudulent charges on our account and we won’t see that money refunded for 7-10 days. Just bad experiences over and over.

Matt S: 4 weeks and still no card in the mail and told to wait another week... It's the holiday season and I cannot partake in online sales or expect how much cash to withdraw for shopping. Other banks can make cards in house I shouldn't have to wait this long regardless of complications from your "card provider" I will no longer be banking here this is unacceptable. I will never jump through hoops to access my money and hate the excuses made for my card not being here. Been with them since my first job out of highschool and they ruined their reputation.
Kayla Robertson: I have banked with BluCurrent since 2017. My account is always in good standings and I make many, many purchases and deposits throughout the month. At first, when I received my first set of overdraft fees for a “purchase” that came out of my account I thought it was truly my error. I specifically changed the way I monitored my balances and went to the old fashion method of a check register (even though I don’t use checks). This appeared to have fixed the issue until about a year later and it happened again. Except this time instead of one overdraft fee I had MANY! Double and triple checked myself, sure enough… the app matched exactly what I should have had in my account, the account balance showed my actual balance and my available balance showed my balance after my pending and posted transactions were subtracted from my account balance. Checked myself again, still correct. However, I had overdraft fees applied to transactions that would have cleared just fine. Brought it up to a manager, they gave me a hard time and issued half of the overdraft fees back. Problem solved for another few years… well, here we are again… except this time I HAVE SCREENSHOTS! It’s sad when you have money disappear so much that it becomes a daily habit to take screen shots of your account balance daily. Every time I call in, I get this lecture of monitoring my account and blah, blah, blah. Listen, I do that. Daily. They always use the excuse “the system” or “it automatically,” I understand it’s all technology by come on. I’m seriously to the point of contacting the FDIC and having an investigation launched. The amount of money I have had to give away for “overdraft” fees is ridiculous!! I get it, if I don’t have the money I should pay it but when it’s there and your “system” charged it anyway enough is enough. $200 worth of overdraft fees for $40 worth of purchases that are supposedly not in my account… yeah…. Nope. If you are not willing to monitor your account with a fine tooth comb I suggest not banking with them. I know many other people who bank with them too who this is happening to also.

Michael Phillips: This Bank was previously SFC, where I was an extremely happy customer for about 15 years. Eventually it was purchased by Guaranty. There is a stark difference between the two, Guaranty is the corporate bank focused on profits, not customers. I hope someone considering opening an account or seeking a loan might reconsider and save themselves a lesson about doing business with shady banks. I had several accounts with this bank; personal, business and trusts as well as my home mortgage. They stole $6.14, from a trust set up as a free senior checking account, because of disability, not age. The charge was for "Lack of Activity" and "Mailing Statements". I wasn't notified of changes to policy, when I called their attitude was tough luck. They would have taken more but that was all that was in the account. If they'll steal 6 bucks from the disabled, they will steal from anyone given the opportunity.

Garoux: Been using this bank for years, and it's normally fine if you don't have an issue. About a month ago, I had ordered something that a company never sent me. I went into to dispute the charge, and I explained to the clerk my situation. Another clerk/manager started filing paperwork without speaking to me directly. He then comes over with a form and just tells me to sign it. Due to the the fact we hadn't spoke, I repeated my situation to him and asked of he needed me to write down more information and not just my signature. He assured me that it would be fine; if they needed more they'd contact me.Suddenly that debit card is shut down, as I discovered when I tried to use it in public. I called to ask about it, and was told it was due to reported fraud. When I explained the situation, she emphasized that the paperwork *I filled out* said fraud. I corrected her that I signed the paperwork I was given for the situation I explained to two employees. I was told I can lose the credit for the product and try to dispute the file, which misses the point. So now I have to take time off of work to come in to deal with a problem made worse by lack of communication on Guaranty Bank's part. Not to mention the issues it caused with my bills.I don't appreciate being made to feel at fault for a failing on their part, nor being told that my only solution is missing work and losing my time/gas if I want a card before the end of the month. Every time I've had an issue (albeit seldom) with this bank, it goes much the same way.

Kyra Fjell: Every single week, I go to this location to use the atm, and every week it's a new issue. The machine doesn't take money one week, next week it's down completely, the week after that, doesn't take checks. It's always something and its absolutely frustrating. Makes banking with them an absolute nightmare. This is the closest location to me, and the fact I have to go to a different one, an extra 20 minutes out of my way, just to use the atm, is crazy. Hopefully they fix it soon or else they'll lose business, because this has been going on for MONTHS.

Shirley Ethridge: My husband had his debit card stolen and then used. The convenienceof same day retrieveal for a debit card is great! The staff for the most part is great. However, I do not feel at all, they take fraud seriously!We filed a police report and the bank can't tell us half the info we need! Such as time and store number nor location, that is what we were told.It takes a FULL 10 DAYS to even credit charges at all. When my husband ask what kind of procedure this was, they informed him this is like any other bank. Not true, I had my debit card stolen along with his, Capital one had credits back on the account within 2 days, and a full investigation. My son's prepaid company Rushcard already has his credits back within 2 days as well! My husband could not even shut his card off on the app, vs I could to help prevent any further spending.By the time he got in the bank at 9am several charges already occurred, where as mine stopped because I was able to cut mine off in my app until a bank rep was available for me at capital one. This is awful! The platform is dinosaur 1995! No features at ALL! My husband will be moving banks after this!Dually noted, they have a "toll free line" to call for missing/stolen cards. Seconds matter in situations like this. He did not have a number if he didn't have a card to call from on back! Whereas, I was able to open my banking app within seconds of realizing what was going on, and shut it off.NOW my options are banking taking reality that fraud exist and gives us in matter of seconds to stop it further , this is Capital One of course! Everything matters in situations like this, for our protection! Seconds, time everything. In no way am I endorsing any bank, however, an Arvest Rep proceeds to tell my husband this is just like all other Banks...REALLY!For the sake of 2019, security , and peace of mind get features that are not uncommon such as my son's prepaid bank Rushcard you can pause your card. However it is taken on for identity, do it! Set it up in the app, re-evaluate your "so called normal process like other Banks" Holidays are coming up, fraud/theft of debit cards are the highest, I feel sorry for the bankers that endure or become a victim, because Arvest will make them a victim too!I truly hope to see Arvest up their security features at the touch of a button. We need to trust you with the money we deposit/do banking with.

Karley Montgomery: My husband and I went into this location on Saturday, August 24th to open a business account for our LLC. We were pointed towards their personal banker. The personal banker informed us we would need to provide required paperwork for the LCC (totally reasonable) when asked if I could email him the paperwork to be printed off because I didnt Have it with me, he told me no. He couldn’t help us. Conveniently it was around 12 on a Saturday, about the time he would be getting off work. We called our local great southern bank today who informed us they could retrieve all of our required documentation online and would have it ready for us to set up a business account this morning. Strange, right? I’ve been with great southern for many years, and very disappointed the services we received at this branch.

Kirk Brown: I have been conducting business with Arvest since they absorbed McIlroy Bank and Trust in 2001. They have been with me through divorce, marriage, births, deaths, and even adoptions. They have helped me with savings accounts, checking accounts, estate accounts, and everything in between. They have never failed to give me good advice and to help me through whatever problem I was facing at the time. They have bent over backwards to help me and my family however we needed. Even this morning, I needed to, at the last minute, open a checking account for my daughter on a Saturday morning with the lobby closed. Without missing a step, they were able to open it simply through the drive-thru. No trouble whatsoever, and they made it an amazing experience. They've always been fair, and have the lowest fees I have ever seen. They've been there for me through extremely hard times, and times of excess. Always taking care of whatever financial need I had.

Janna Case: I had a appointment today to start a business account with Olivia Mathias. She kept me waiting in an empty parking lot for over an hour waiting on her phone call. She should be removed from her desk job and made to work outside till she understands how to treat people.
Gina Blecha: I have had an account with this branch for almost 2 years. Last week I gave teller $320 is n cash to deposit, she only deposited $280. I didn’t look at my receipt because I was in a hurry, my fault. I called the customer service they said they would look into it and call me. They never did call me back. I had to call three other times to find out there was nothing they could do. I lost my trust in this branch and will definitely be moving my accounts. Just so you know I do not write reviews often but I felt others should be warned.
Amy Ellis: I've used Arvest a few years now and have been very please with them till now. My account was compromised somehow and I believe it was due to a skimmer on this banks ATM because the fraud on my account happened right after I put money in my account from their ATM. I was called 2 days later to be told about unusual activity on my account. My card was cancelled. The money I put in my account was all I had it was to pay my car note. Now I'm behind in my car payment because I trusted this bank with my $. Now I'm being told I need to wait up to 10 days to get my own money bank and was not given any more options. I'm very disappointed. I'm in a bad way finacially and I don't feel that I'm being treated right.

Matthew Russell: I had a minor issue with my personal account of my own doing. I stopped into this branch of Arvest and was able to work with Jacob Hosp to get the issue fixed. He made sure I was who I said I was politely and then completely fixed the issue I had created for myself. He was friendly and professional and I was very pleased with the service. I would highly recommend this bank (who we have been with for at least seven years), this branch and the other branch on Republic Road, and specifically Jacob.

Their app is horrendous and they are just as charge happy as Bank of America. I will be closing my account and finding a new bank.If you are looking for a new bank I would avoid using Arvest.

Kathryn Washam: They are so hard to get ahold of on the phone, speaking to a bank teller is practically impossible. Then I am paying a monthly fee, to protect me if my account gets over drafted, to find out later if I need that protection, I have to pay ANOTHER FEE again because I got over drafted. Don't have your bank tellers tell me about this protection account, and get me to sign up for it, to later find out there is another hidden fee. I wouldn't of bothered switching banks if I knew this was going to be the case.
