Terri Nunn: I always receive excellent service from the folks at this branch. They, like all of us, have to abide by corporate rules that sometimes are a pain. But the Kearney branch has never failed to give me great customer service.
Dr.Phil Bigone: I had banked here for almost a year. Being out of state and using online banking I depended on online services. After having many times being locked out of my account due to bank changes I decided to close my account. The password was always being interpreted and had to call everytime to gain account access. For this reason I closed the account. The IT department I hold responsible for this. The bank personal were always helpful and friendly.

Jamie Obernuefemann: We have done business with BluCurrent for 4 yrs and have had 3 car loans through them. We have been great customers and wanted to do more business with them recently, however the customer service in the loan department has been horrible . We could not get anyone to call us back without constantly having to call them. We were trying to purchase another car and pay off our current car loan. They kept giving us different amounts they would lend us, which was never enough to even buy the car. They acted like they didn't even want to work with us although we have paid one loan off early and have 2 other good standing loans. They also only offered us a 1/3 of the amount of a personal loan we were asking for. We took our business to TelComm Credit Union who having been amazing and welcoming. We have one loan left there and are looking into refinancing it to finish out the loan with TelComm and be done with BluCurrent
Nick Jungen: I had some accidental charges from discover, a total mixup and miscommunication between the 3 parties (myself, BC, and Discover), and they were able to refund those fees and get my money back very quickly. The folks there are all very nice and it is a great bank to use! Totally recommend these guys!

Spoke with a total of 5 different representatives, “we Will absolutely call you back” but didnt receive answers. After a week of runaround i had to physically go in to a location, where i was told that there was nothing they could do for me. Fees are fees that’s fine I’ll pay them, but they do not care about giving you answers, just passing you off to the next person to deal with the problem of WHY you are being charged almost $100 in foreign fees. 2 very untrained unprofessional representatives Have ensured i will never bank with this credit union again.

Cat Tabor: If I could give a zero rating I would. I’ve used this bank for three years and I called today, because online it shows that the bank is open. I got card services and asked if she could help me transfer money from one account to another. She was extremely rude and snappy and said I need member services she can’t help me. I said okay, how can I get ahold of them? It shows them open online but when I call I can’t get thru. I asked if they were open she very hatefully said mam, I don’t know, but you’ve called card services not member services! I can’t help you. justin nielsen: I wouldn’t refer this bank to anyone, customer service is just bad. When you need to get ahold of them, plan to wait on hold for 15 minutes. The app also needs work, bill pay is a joke. 4 week wait for debit cards. Fraudulent charges on our account and we won’t see that money refunded for 7-10 days. Just bad experiences over and over.

Matt S: 4 weeks and still no card in the mail and told to wait another week... It's the holiday season and I cannot partake in online sales or expect how much cash to withdraw for shopping. Other banks can make cards in house I shouldn't have to wait this long regardless of complications from your "card provider" I will no longer be banking here this is unacceptable. I will never jump through hoops to access my money and hate the excuses made for my card not being here. Been with them since my first job out of highschool and they ruined their reputation.
Kayla Robertson: I have banked with BluCurrent since 2017. My account is always in good standings and I make many, many purchases and deposits throughout the month. At first, when I received my first set of overdraft fees for a “purchase” that came out of my account I thought it was truly my error. I specifically changed the way I monitored my balances and went to the old fashion method of a check register (even though I don’t use checks). This appeared to have fixed the issue until about a year later and it happened again. Except this time instead of one overdraft fee I had MANY! Double and triple checked myself, sure enough… the app matched exactly what I should have had in my account, the account balance showed my actual balance and my available balance showed my balance after my pending and posted transactions were subtracted from my account balance. Checked myself again, still correct. However, I had overdraft fees applied to transactions that would have cleared just fine. Brought it up to a manager, they gave me a hard time and issued half of the overdraft fees back. Problem solved for another few years… well, here we are again… except this time I HAVE SCREENSHOTS! It’s sad when you have money disappear so much that it becomes a daily habit to take screen shots of your account balance daily. Every time I call in, I get this lecture of monitoring my account and blah, blah, blah. Listen, I do that. Daily. They always use the excuse “the system” or “it automatically,” I understand it’s all technology by come on. I’m seriously to the point of contacting the FDIC and having an investigation launched. The amount of money I have had to give away for “overdraft” fees is ridiculous!! I get it, if I don’t have the money I should pay it but when it’s there and your “system” charged it anyway enough is enough. $200 worth of overdraft fees for $40 worth of purchases that are supposedly not in my account… yeah…. Nope. If you are not willing to monitor your account with a fine tooth comb I suggest not banking with them. I know many other people who bank with them too who this is happening to also.

Jezzy Garbanzo: Many of the reviews indicate a need for improved Saturday service. Just curious why this hasn’t been addressed. I picked the location because it is close to my home. Unfortunately, it’s not close to my work. I went in this morning, Saturday, to access my bank box. I was told no one working this morning has codes to open the vault and I would have to return Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Here’s one more review to indicate a need for improved Saturday service. Incidentally, if I had needed a teller, I would’ve been fifth in line.

Daisy Chain: They wanted to charge me $7 to cash a check that was written by someone with an account at US BANK. So if you have an account there they will charge people money to cash checks you write to them. Total rip off! Plus to cash the check they wanted to PROFILE me asking me personal financial questions about where I work and such. Just to cash a check wrote out to me by one of their own customers. NO THANKS! I banked there years ago and the "hidden" fees are outrageous just to have an account!

Here To Review: The red headed bank teller working here on December 16th, 2022 misspelled the name on a $5,000 cashier's check making us late for our appointment. She really needs to pay more attention to detail especially when dealing with this large amount of money.

Well what do you know....they no longer have tellers on Saturday! Why are you making it harder for your customers to bank with you? It just doesn't make any sense. Totally unacceptable.
Caity Dillard: EDIT TO ADD: They do not have any tellers in their stores on Saturday. I went to deposit a check of a large amount and was told they don’t deposit checks or do any cash transactions. Since it was such a large amount I couldn’t use the ATM machine or whatever it was. Just absolutely ridiculous. I am switching banks on Monday.2 stars because the people are friendly. But anytime I go through the drive through it takes soooo long. I have to make sure I go when I’m not in a rush because they take so long. And it’s not their fault- I’ve only ever seen 2 people working there. In fact one time I went to cash in some coins and they couldn’t do it because “there is only one person who knows how to operate the machine and they aren’t here today.” Every time I go to this location it makes me want to switch banks and I don’t want to go to the other locations because they are so far from my house. They really need to get more people in there.

However, when you go in they are actually paying a person to stand there and tell you to use the ATM because they don’t have a teller. Erin Roberts: I don’t bank here but tried to use their sketchy ATM since my bank isn’t in town. Their machine stole my debit card for “security reasons”. I had to call about 10 times over 2 days before I could get someone to answer the phone and they said they’ve shredded the card and there’s no way to get it back. Thanks for nothing.
J Fellers: US Bank is fast food banking now. Impersonal banking at it’s best, no tellers for deposits, lack of staff. Most branches not open on Sat. ATM out of paper to print, confusing on depositing checks- no explanations on how it works by scanning. Manager doing small talk over helping customers while customers wait.
J.R. Perkins: By far my least favorite place to visit in the US Bank system. I tolerate US Bank because years ago they were everywhere I traveled. Today, I checked and this branch said lobby open. I am driving right by there, so I planned to make my deposits there. I get there and they have no tellers. Nowhere on the website is it clear what services are available and not on a particular day. The people there certainly didn't care about it either, just like at most branches I've been too. Do yourself a favor and do not bank with US Bank unless you need their extensive branch network.

The bank manager is great and will actually speak with you over the phone incredible I know... Hey today I had the pleasure going through the drive-thru and Haley was my customer service rep and she not only made a deposit for me however she also walked me through the processes of my notifications all of this through the drive-thru incredible. You know if it were me I would throw a hundred bucks in a savings account here at US Bank have a direct deposit $25 a paycheck and that money is going to add up and then use it for vacation next year or use it for your Christmas money this year this way you can try it and see how you like it. I'm telling you I'm brilliant LOL.

Paige Phillips: Very disappointed with this bank. I switched to them and have only used them for about a month but more than likely won’t continue to use them. I went to deposit cash into the atm last week, it couldn’t read some of the bills so only gave me $9 back in ones. But $73 of it went unaccounted for. And instead of it depositing into my account or given back I’m assuming got stuck? So I filed a claim last week, hadn’t heard anything from anyone and decided to call and check this morning. The woman told me that apparently everything in the atm was counted correctly and there was no extra money in it. She also said that this isn’t the first she’s heard of this happening along with multiple fraudulent charges happening to people. This is extremely unfortunate because I have a toddler and another baby on the way and really need my money especially around Christmas time. And was basically told you’re out of luck. Wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone. Especially people in the service industry like myself who have constant cash deposits and can’t always run into the bank. The atms are supposed to be convenient, not cause more harm and stress.

Darian Trimble: Since moving to Missouri and needing a local bank i chose to go with Central. Its been a bit bumpy in areas as far as the technology goes but the people at the S National location and the customer service line have been some of the nicest most helpful people ive ever dealth with when it comes to banking. This is my first bank experience as ive always used military credit unions prior to this and they have made the transition easy and always have been able to answer questions efficiently and easily. Very knowledgeable staff who are kind and actually care about their clients.

From personal loans, business loans, lines of credit, wires,,,,,I could go on for another paragraph. The staff where I do my banking is at Walnut Lawn and National. All of the staff are exemplary. Professional in ever regard. Terri Choate the Vice President at this branch is truly a model for the banking industry. All of those she supervises are just great. I must also give thanks to John Cunningham who made our PPP loan process much easier than expected. Thank you Central Bank for years of wonderful service.

Sean Riech: I just went through the drive thru at the east Sunshine branch and the blonde woman behind my teller was looking at me like I was a piece trash. I never have that experience at the east Chestnut branch. Those ladies treat me with respect and smiles. Props to the Chestnut branch and stay away from the Sunshine branch.

Rachelle Delfino: I attempted to close out my account today and was told I could not do so because I didn't have a Missouri ID. I opened up the account with my California ID and I should be able to close the account with the same ID. This has been by far the worst banking experience I've ever had, from the start until today! Within three weeks of having the account they turned off my card for possible fraudulent charges because I did not reply to a text message. I do not recall getting such a text message and they're trying to say that they have an idea of how I spend my money after 3 weeks. There were only seven charges on that card within 3 weeks, how do you assume fraud after seven charges? That was extremely inconvenient. There ATM machine is always broken and half the time my card did not work at Walmart and now when I go to close out my account they tell me no, what the hell?Avoid this institution at all cost!

preston preston: The Springfield, Mo Campbell branch manager named Tina is very rude and apparently doesn't like to listen to you on the phone when you are trying to explain the situation. I responded to a mailer from a 300$ bonus if I opened a checking account. I repeatedly asked about fees, which there are so many, and asked how to avoid them. I was told that as long as I had a 1500$ balance, there wouldn't be any. I got the bonus and went to close my account and they tell me there is a 25$ closing fee. So sneaky how they get you. I call Tina and she says the only way they wave this fee is if you move away. So that means they can wave it, but she is choosing not to. She says just withdrawal your money and don't close the account. But then there are all kinds of monthy checking account fees if your balance is under 1500$ or you don't have a direct deposit. I told them at the beginning I already have a checking account I use and am just doing this for the bonus.They said that is fine. Well they got me. And everyone I spoke with kept trying to pass the blame to someone else. Noone, not even the bank managers will take responsibility. You have been warned. Stay away.

Was a bit weary at first but after waiting for a short while and sitting down to talk I was optimistic.Not only was the process super simple to open a new account, Jeff explained to me every little detail about my account and made sure I understood in FULL detail about what would, and wouldn't cause a fee/charge on my account.This bank personally fits the needs for me and I recommend you checking them out if you're interested in a bank that will sit down and talk and work with you on a personal level.Thanks again Jeff. jennifer baker: From the moment I opened the account I couldn't get into it online or on the app. Always says my password is wrong(even though it isn't) and offers no way to fix that without calling. If you do call in you will be on hold for quite a while, no matter the time of day, and if it is a problem that has to be handled by management, they make you feel like you did something wrong by calling them. Not pleased

Maurice Senior: Worst bank in America. I was told I couldn't eve get change for a hundred there and the Arabic/Indian bank teller there on glenstone is rude everytime I go in.
Zachary Jones: Nothing like they use to be. Used to shake a man's hand and close a deal for a loan, now they hide behind there computers and let the computers make the decisions for them. Doesn't matter that I've banked with them for years and have had two auto loans thru them only for them to deny for what? Couldn't tell ya. The loan officer didn't even have the courtesy call me and had his secretary do it instead.

They closed the account even though there was money being paid in and then forced me to wait 3 days just for them to give me my money and even then I couldn't gets the funds directly. I had to wait for them to put it back into another account I had. Overall a very bad banking experience with them. They will use random account charges instead of sending an email to update information. They have to be told that a check from one account to another within their bank should receive fund immediately. All in all very unprofessional and zero regard for customer service.Update: central banks response to my review should tell you everything you need to know about them. They don't care about customer opinions as long as they get what they want and slow you down in the process. Very pitiful from a local business.

Kathy Teel: I called to ask some questions about my father's bank account and a recent possible scam he'd been the victim of. The customer service agent was rude, impatient, and sounded like she was annoyed by every question I asked. She interrupted me and spoke over me constantly. I literally asked her to show me some patience because I wasn't sure how to navigate the issues at hand, and she literally spoke over me as I was asking this. This has been my dad's bank for years, so I guess we will continue to do his business there, but I wasn't impressed by the customer service.

Jackie Bennett: Not sure which location Jay works at, but he is the loan officer that i spoke with about refinancing my auto loan. I have been a 1 year customer and have never made a late loan payment. I have worked very hard to get my credit score up above 700. He told me he could only get me down to a 8% loan because my credit score was 665. I couldnt believe that, so i called a different bank. They were very friendly and told me my credit score was 731!!! The new bank got me a nice 4% rate for an auto loan. I am in the process of transferring over my loan to the new bank. I am very disappointed with this bank and how the loan officer tried to trick me into a higher rate! Be careful trusting these people.... just wanted to let other people know. And Central Bank, please feel free to call me about this review. Your amazing loan officer Jay has my number, i will be looking forward to speaking with you about this.
Nichole Baker: This is the shadiest bank I’ve ever done business with, hands down. Their online banking is always down, the fraud department can’t be bothered to address fraudulent charges, and the customer service reps engage in ethically questionable behavior- including making unauthorized changes to our online account. They have rude and dismissive representatives. We couldn’t close our account and move on fast enough.

Central bank has great local in bank customer service, but the customer service at call center is horrible. They put a hold on my husband's paycheck because its out of state and the other bank has already contacted Central bank but they are still keeping a 7 day hold.
Genevieve Stokes: If you like waiting for 30+ minutes in drive through even though your only the second car back then this bank is the bank for you. Unfortunately my work banks through here and I have to go every day and every day it's the same. I'm sitting at drive through now writing this review waiting for one deposit and a small change order and I've been her for 40 min! Now they're telling me they can't even fill my change order! They can't give me a dollar in pennies. And do other workers not realize that the people in drive through can see them sitting around doing NOTHING through the glass. There's 4 employees and I'm the only car and it's taking this long!!!
travis wepfer: I am new to the bank and had a transitional hiccup that wasn't their fault. It was very stressful but the Manager, Gwen, helped me in a matter of minutes and made everything right for me. She even had to do it outside because I couldn't go in. All the staff at all the branches have been amazing to work with. Highly reccomend over my last two regional bank/credit unions. Oh, and their referral bonus is amazing!

Last month I worked with John in the loan department at the Sunshine & Glenstone location. John was a godsend. He helped me move my car payment from Wells Fargo to Central which saved me a full year of payments plus lowered my monthly bill $50.I'm very happy. 🙂

Kyra Fjell: Every single week, I go to this location to use the atm, and every week it's a new issue. The machine doesn't take money one week, next week it's down completely, the week after that, doesn't take checks. It's always something and its absolutely frustrating. Makes banking with them an absolute nightmare. This is the closest location to me, and the fact I have to go to a different one, an extra 20 minutes out of my way, just to use the atm, is crazy. Hopefully they fix it soon or else they'll lose business, because this has been going on for MONTHS.

Shirley Ethridge: My husband had his debit card stolen and then used. The convenienceof same day retrieveal for a debit card is great! The staff for the most part is great. However, I do not feel at all, they take fraud seriously!We filed a police report and the bank can't tell us half the info we need! Such as time and store number nor location, that is what we were told.It takes a FULL 10 DAYS to even credit charges at all. When my husband ask what kind of procedure this was, they informed him this is like any other bank. Not true, I had my debit card stolen along with his, Capital one had credits back on the account within 2 days, and a full investigation. My son's prepaid company Rushcard already has his credits back within 2 days as well! My husband could not even shut his card off on the app, vs I could to help prevent any further spending.By the time he got in the bank at 9am several charges already occurred, where as mine stopped because I was able to cut mine off in my app until a bank rep was available for me at capital one. This is awful! The platform is dinosaur 1995! No features at ALL! My husband will be moving banks after this!Dually noted, they have a "toll free line" to call for missing/stolen cards. Seconds matter in situations like this. He did not have a number if he didn't have a card to call from on back! Whereas, I was able to open my banking app within seconds of realizing what was going on, and shut it off.NOW my options are banking taking reality that fraud exist and gives us in matter of seconds to stop it further , this is Capital One of course! Everything matters in situations like this, for our protection! Seconds, time everything. In no way am I endorsing any bank, however, an Arvest Rep proceeds to tell my husband this is just like all other Banks...REALLY!For the sake of 2019, security , and peace of mind get features that are not uncommon such as my son's prepaid bank Rushcard you can pause your card. However it is taken on for identity, do it! Set it up in the app, re-evaluate your "so called normal process like other Banks" Holidays are coming up, fraud/theft of debit cards are the highest, I feel sorry for the bankers that endure or become a victim, because Arvest will make them a victim too!I truly hope to see Arvest up their security features at the touch of a button. We need to trust you with the money we deposit/do banking with.

Matt J: This bank charges $8 if you don't have an account there To cash a check from a person that writes a check from their bank!!! I try not to do business with this bank as much as possible I recommend anyone that has an account here to withdraw and start a bank account somewhere else no one wants to get your check from you and have to pay $8 to cash it. And I know you can take it to your own bank but if you want to catch it that day they charge you and that's ridiculous. Try to stay As far away as you can from this bank and tell everyone.
Angela Wiles: Bank of America as a whole is an awful bank. One of their ATM's took a cash deposit of over $1,000 and did not put a single cent into my account. I have called customer service and have called claims and everyone can see the debit card that was used and the correct time, date, and amount deposited, yet they can not seem to put the money into my account. Claims said temporary funds may be available as early as May 10, That is another 10 days but it could take up to 45 days. I have been with Bank of America for 10 years and never had this big of an issue with them. Sadly, They have lost a customer because of this matter and I will be reaching out to legal support regarding my money. I do not recommend this bank to anyone.

Ap 57: I was here in January and all of the employees from the expeditor near the door and a couple tellers that I dealt with were extremely helpful.Especially Dwayne Smith vice president, financial center manager along with Sharon Heal assistant vice president, financial solutions advisor I think they went out of their way to try and help me make my transfer from Merrill Lynch to a Bank of America account I feel they went above and beyond to make this happen for me!I definitely recommend this branch!
