Playful Hearts Yoga: After attempting to secure a PPP loan through a large bank with no luck at all I reached out on social media to get referrals. We called Tom Wong who was helping STL Bank push the loans through. In the 10 minutes someone had given me his name, before making first contact with him, he looked up our business, knew when we started the business and had our contact information ready to go. I was so impressed that we immediately chose him to help. He was available all day and night that Sunday by phone and text. In my experience there is no other bank that would’ve been available on a Sunday like he was. After getting everything sent for us, he helped a friend of ours well into the night to get his papers in as well. He checked in and 2 days later we found out we got the loan!! We couldn’t believe it after what we’d experienced at the larger bank!! We will absolutely be moving our accounts and are so thankful for Tom and the help of all the people working 24/7 at STL Bank to secure these loans! Thank you thank you!!

Like other small businesses we completed and submitted our application for PPP immediately to our bank. Celia Alston: Just called up there this morning to put in a change order. The person that answered the phone went through the normal greeting then asked if I would mind being put on hold. Before I could answer she put me on hold and I preceded to be on hold for twenty minutes. I figured that would happen because this location is a hit or miss as far as them answering their phone. So I hung up, called back, the same person answered the phone and did the same thing, put me on hold before I could even speak. As she was putting me on hold I was yelling into the phone, 'You've already put me on hold"!!! Whether she heard me or not she hung up. This really irritated me. I already know that I will be on hold for a long time again so I hung up. I will try later. This is a horrid US Bank branch. We deal with them because they are right down the street but we might have to choose another location because they ridiculous and totally unprofessional.

After 15 years I'm done, even corporate can't get in touch with them.Nothing like having your money deposited in someone else's account. It's not that hard to type stuff in a computer, hire better employees.
Cathryn Alt: I made an appointment for 2pm on a Thursday to simply change the last name on my account because I just got married. I showed up at 1:50pm and was directed to sit. After watching the women behind the counter gab to a friend for 15 minutes, one of the women came over to me at 2:07pm. "Hi, I just realized that it's 2:07 and the woman you made an appointment with still isn't back. We're short staffed so she took her lunch late. I bet she'll return in around 20 minutes." The woman who missed my appointment confirmed the previous day. I have a job that I took time from for this appointment. I do not have the time to wait around for "bets" on whether this woman would return or not. This branch needs a lesson in professionalism. Being short on staff is not an excuse for missing an appointment. Another person to help or management assistance was not offered. The woman who missed the appointment did not even call to apologize for wasting my time. I now must make another appointment and take time off another day to get this done. I should also add that I ran into a similar problem the last time I visited this branch where I waited for 35 minutes and then an additional hour just to set up an account. I will likely be closing my accounts at US Bank based off of my most recent experiences at this branch.

I addressed both tellers, as they were standing next to each other, and stated that I wanted to make a withdrawal from my Savings account. The first teller assisted me for a moment and had me start to fill out a withdrawal slip when the phone rang. She stated that she had to answer it, to which I replied "No worries."She then had a discussion with the customer on the other end of the line regarding attempted fraud on her account. All this is fine, of course, but when the call lasted more than a few minutes, she and the other teller started making fun of the customer for continuing to talk and ask questions, completely disregarding the customer's legitimate concerns. They were both making the "talking" gesture with their hands and rolling their eyes to each other and myself. Completely unprofessional behavior in any setting, especially one where people entrust their finances.Eventually, the second teller motioned that she would finish the transaction since the first teller was still on the phone. She disappeared with my withdrawal slip for roughly 10 minutes and then came back to the counter.She counts out the money. I ask her which account she took the money from, as I had not yet written an account number on the form. She coldly replied something to the effect of "If there's no number, we take from Checking."I stated that I asked for the withdrawal to be made from my Savings account."I would have no way of knowing that," she replied curtly, despite that I stated to both of them what I needed before the other teller answered the phone.I expected her to offer to make the transfer between accounts since she took the money from the incorrect account, but instead she just went on a tirade about how I should use the app to fix her mistake because they don't want people in the bank.In short, they are doing a terrific job of keeping people from using their bank.All I wanted was five $100 bills from my savings account. After 20 minutes, I left with $500 of random denomination bills taken from the wrong account, and the sour taste of dealing with insufferably rude people.

Steven F: My wife deposited two checks one for a large amount of money. The teller deposited these checks on Saturday into someone else's account. My wife had to take off time from work to go into the bank to resolve this. The branch manager told well it happens sometimes your money should be available in one to two business days. Now we are without this money for making payments we have to make. Will be closing the account. Customer for 35 years.

It does seem to be consistent at this location in particular so perhaps US Bank overall is not terrible, but if you have the option to go elsewhere, I would avoid this branch.

I'll be switching banks after using US Bank for 15 years. Can't go in and have to wait 30 minutes for a to make a deposit with one car in front of you, yea not happening.
Darlena Ngo: I told some lady over the phone that I haven't been to a US Bank and that I want to make an appointment and make a debit card because I have not been to the US Bank before and that I wanted to get them customized and she told me that I can just show up and that I don't need an appointment. And when I got there I had a hard time communicating with an old lady and how she told me I have to have an appointment to get a debit card and I told her some lady I spoke to told me I didn't have to and then the boss or the person I was going to see told me to go home and make an appointment and come back next time.
Warren: Almost a year of drive through only, still inexcusably slow. Pull up at 8:58am, opens at 9:00am, one car in front of me. I’m finished with a simple cash deposit by 9:17. Just pathetic.

Maureen Muich: This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this branch, but it is the first time I’ve submitted a negative review on Google and the first time I filed a formal complaint against this branch. A simple task of depositing a check (NO cash withdrawal) required THREE visits through the drive thru (lobby isn’t open) and these aren’t short visits. In the end, to deposit a check with my husbands name on the check, they wanted him physically present in my car and they wanted to receive his ID. After completing that request - which is absurd to have him physically present IN MY CAR - there was yet another thing that needed to be completed before they’d deposit the check. I called corporate and they explained pieces of the process which were legit, but agreed he didn’t need to be physically present and it was poor communication on their part to complete a simple task. It’s unfortunate since this bank is one block from our house, but I’ll have to drive to the Southwest branch moving forward, or until I take my accounts somewhere else. We’re refinancing and we were going to call US Bank for quotes to keep our mortgage with the bank, but we’re taking our mortgage somewhere else.

Jimmy Conway: Seems to back open and running smooth there. Be aware of traffic and pedestrians when pulling in off Hampton. It's just South of the metro transportation hub.
Marquitta Woolfolk: Need a second ATM... I stay right around the corner from this location and every since day got a apartment duplex above them, they closed off both gates parking lot and the side entrance, so there's no way that we can get access to the ATM after 7pm or on weekends.

I told the representative I just wanted to make sure I was at the right spot. He then told me once I finished doing the online application have him call back for the approval. He was professional and polite and did his job. Young lady over at the DeBaliviere location you need some customer care classes.

Sherry Goldsmith: I went to the Gravois branch in South City last week on two different occasions, arriving both times at 5, so I could get a money order from the drive through window. Both times the shutter was pulled down over the window and the closed sign posted, despite the fact that the website clearly stated the drive up window was open until 5:15. There was no inclement weather or to my knowledge any other reason why they should have closed 15 minutes earlier. This was a huge inconvenience. I guess they make their hours up as they go.

The woman instead of running the new card information, ran our old card information and it came back declined. They refused to take my husband's payment information to pay it , and want him to use a money order and deliver it to the branch. He went down there, the woman finally took his card information, and we thought it was all fixed. He got a phone call 4 hours later saying that they want him to deliver a money order to their office every month because it got declined before. It was the fault of an employee, so why are we having to waste time fixing it?

Bill Thompson: One of my employees shared with me the other day who works at the window at this location. I'm apt to forgive. But, I never forget a face, especially one of someone who made such a spectacle of herself in my place of business while wearing a bank employee badge. To add injury to insult, she wrote an "epistle" of falsehoods on my business on Google. Well, Karma is you know what for the young lady whose first name starts with a "U". US Bank is a bad judge of character, allowing someone like this to behave like she did and have a bank employee badge on during that event. I won't be doing business here, ever. And if I am successful enough with business contacts spanning an almost 24 year career in St. Louis, neither will they.

Sam Goodman: Horrible. I walk in and no one says hi, this is after I wait in line for the BROKEN ATM, when I tell the banker it's broken she says oh yeah, the walk up one works. Why would you not put a sign on it saying so? Waited 10 minutes inside to be told "oh I'm not taking customers, go to the other lady". So unprofessional, at the one institution that should be!! (A bank)
Tameka Davis: I've been a US Bank customer for 20 ppus years. Today I had the worst experience from I'm guessing their branch manager. I was instructed to come here to fax/email paperwork to US Bank Mortgage. The gentleman was rude about sending the information then said that he emailed it to me and walked away. He stated they don't get a confirmation on when it's sent and to check my email. I stated that I did and there was nothing...he ignored what I said walked away and went to sit down.
