Paige Tribbett: I just bought a house, and Linda Luther and John Charlton were my mortgage processor and specialist. They were AMAZING. It ended up being a very long and complex process with the type of loan I was getting, and they really worked to make it happen, despite a ton of hoops. It had to have been frustrating, but they were always friendly. I would not have been able to buy a house without their hard work.
Gin Trembley: I felt welcome when I walked in. Chelsea T was awesome helping me open checking, money market accounts and applying for a Mastercard. She did most of the work. Looking forward to a long, successful relationship.

Mo Johnson: It’s because of Michael that I chose to continue banking with Bank of America. My overall experience’s in the past with the location in Belleville, IL really made me dislike this bank. Michael’s professional attitude and detailed attention to my needs has totally changed my outlook. He honestly needs to retrain the branch managers at other locations on great customer service and professionalism. I truly thank Michael for going above and beyond for me to keep banking with Bank of America.

Byron Claude: This bank illegally refused to cash it's own cashier's check for a whole 26 dollars calling it "fraudulent" when it was in fact "pre-dated" because the sloppy corporate entity it is a part of does sloppy bookkeeping and did not record the check in their ledger until a week after the thing was issued. By the time the matter was resolved my license had expired... so guess what... you guessed it, they still refused to cash it on the count of my now expired license. If you want a bank that will commit illegal activity and do everything else in it's power too work against you - this is your place. If you want a bank that functions like one... GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Stephanie Campbell: This location is close to where I reside. The ATM isn't always stocked with cash. The ATM reads, 'Not In Service', too often for my satisfaction. Is this not a bank? Most of the time I feel like its a useless trip to the ATM.

Steven F: My wife deposited two checks one for a large amount of money. The teller deposited these checks on Saturday into someone else's account. My wife had to take off time from work to go into the bank to resolve this. The branch manager told well it happens sometimes your money should be available in one to two business days. Now we are without this money for making payments we have to make. Will be closing the account. Customer for 35 years.

Elysia Berkery: I cannot believe how horrendous the customer service is at this branch. I have had so many negative experiences at this point, I have lost count. One time- someone is having a bad day, I get it, but the repeated rudenss and incompetence is inexcusable. My partner and I are moving our account to Regions where I have always banked and had no problems at all. It does seem to be consistent at this location in particular so perhaps US Bank overall is not terrible, but if you have the option to go elsewhere, I would avoid this branch.
Jerry Stamson: No one is allowed in the bank without an appointment, yet the drive through is slower than ever. Even when the drive through is not busy it takes forever. I'll be switching banks after using US Bank for 15 years. Can't go in and have to wait 30 minutes for a to make a deposit with one car in front of you, yea not happening.
Darlena Ngo: I told some lady over the phone that I haven't been to a US Bank and that I want to make an appointment and make a debit card because I have not been to the US Bank before and that I wanted to get them customized and she told me that I can just show up and that I don't need an appointment. And when I got there I had a hard time communicating with an old lady and how she told me I have to have an appointment to get a debit card and I told her some lady I spoke to told me I didn't have to and then the boss or the person I was going to see told me to go home and make an appointment and come back next time.
Warren: Almost a year of drive through only, still inexcusably slow. Pull up at 8:58am, opens at 9:00am, one car in front of me. I’m finished with a simple cash deposit by 9:17. Just pathetic.

Bev Gregory: This is the 2nd time in 6 months, that a US Bank atm has confiscated my debit card. I live in the area, but my bank is farther away, near my previous home. I don’t have any problems with my account and don’t understand why they feel the need to make my life more difficult.

Maureen Muich: This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this branch, but it is the first time I’ve submitted a negative review on Google and the first time I filed a formal complaint against this branch. A simple task of depositing a check (NO cash withdrawal) required THREE visits through the drive thru (lobby isn’t open) and these aren’t short visits. In the end, to deposit a check with my husbands name on the check, they wanted him physically present in my car and they wanted to receive his ID. After completing that request - which is absurd to have him physically present IN MY CAR - there was yet another thing that needed to be completed before they’d deposit the check. I called corporate and they explained pieces of the process which were legit, but agreed he didn’t need to be physically present and it was poor communication on their part to complete a simple task. It’s unfortunate since this bank is one block from our house, but I’ll have to drive to the Southwest branch moving forward, or until I take my accounts somewhere else. We’re refinancing and we were going to call US Bank for quotes to keep our mortgage with the bank, but we’re taking our mortgage somewhere else.

I went in to find out if she could do her business from the car considering her difficulties with walking. The clerk checked on the possibility of her being able to do so. She’s returned and told us to use the Commercial drive up to have her get her temporary replacement. This was greatly appreciated and extremely accommodating. It took a little time to get things completed but the staff was very helpful and we truly appreciate their care and concern! Customer Service was key! Thanks for your help!

Rose “S” De: Also.would like to add. What if someone lost there wallet and need cash to get a new government Id, but now they can't because US bank wants to hold there money up. Clearly the ID I showed was super real, with my post office uniform on and driving my post office vehicle. Thats just sad.

Without them it would be difficult to navigate the ever changing CARES Act successfully. I have heard disastrous stories from peers about their nonresponsive national banks and poor response to the pandemic. Not so with St. Louis Bank.
Playful Hearts Yoga: After attempting to secure a PPP loan through a large bank with no luck at all I reached out on social media to get referrals. We called Tom Wong who was helping STL Bank push the loans through. In the 10 minutes someone had given me his name, before making first contact with him, he looked up our business, knew when we started the business and had our contact information ready to go. I was so impressed that we immediately chose him to help. He was available all day and night that Sunday by phone and text. In my experience there is no other bank that would’ve been available on a Sunday like he was. After getting everything sent for us, he helped a friend of ours well into the night to get his papers in as well. He checked in and 2 days later we found out we got the loan!! We couldn’t believe it after what we’d experienced at the larger bank!! We will absolutely be moving our accounts and are so thankful for Tom and the help of all the people working 24/7 at STL Bank to secure these loans! Thank you thank you!!

Like other small businesses we completed and submitted our application for PPP immediately to our bank. Unfortunately our app did not get submitted to the SBA on time.Gant Harper reached out in response to a FB post and offered to assist in submitting our application for the 2nd round. We accepted. Bs mom: Be wary of this institution. A check for a large amount was issued by them and they refused to cash the check. Suspect solvency issues here. They do not have longevity in this area despite the branding and are a young bank. Caution.
