Mo Johnson: It’s because of Michael that I chose to continue banking with Bank of America. My overall experience’s in the past with the location in Belleville, IL really made me dislike this bank. Michael’s professional attitude and detailed attention to my needs has totally changed my outlook. He honestly needs to retrain the branch managers at other locations on great customer service and professionalism. I truly thank Michael for going above and beyond for me to keep banking with Bank of America.

Byron Claude: This bank illegally refused to cash it's own cashier's check for a whole 26 dollars calling it "fraudulent" when it was in fact "pre-dated" because the sloppy corporate entity it is a part of does sloppy bookkeeping and did not record the check in their ledger until a week after the thing was issued. By the time the matter was resolved my license had expired... so guess what... you guessed it, they still refused to cash it on the count of my now expired license. If you want a bank that will commit illegal activity and do everything else in it's power too work against you - this is your place. If you want a bank that functions like one... GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Joi Harris: I was very disappointed with my experience at this particular branch. First off was greeted with a peculiar look as I approached the front teller as if I was an alien. Then she quickly directed me to Emily at the courtesy counter that basically told me she couldn’t help me before she even looked at my Identification or attempted to look my name and account up. Tried to schedule me an appointment for Monday when it was Saturday. I absolutely felt racial tension in the air. It’s 2023 people. Let’s get it together or get a remote job at home so you won’t have to experience the realism of the world. African American people can travel outside of downtown KAREN. Good luck

Kathryn Stoner: I switched to Bank of America and left within 2 months. I was left without any access to my account or any of the money in my account for 3+ weeks. The male banker I encountered spoke over me the entirety of the interaction, and did not address my concerns. Amber was very professional and helpful in closing my account, but that’s the best help I got in the entirety of my time here.

Lobby was clean and their assistants were friendly and welcome. I made an appointment online and waited for less than five minutes in the lobby. Parking was easy to find too.
Lucas Poelker: This bank is the worst. Lines always super long with tons of employees standing around… but today takes the cake. I went at 9am to make a withdrawal. A manager standing in the lobby tells me the branch is closed and she sent her employees home because she contracted COVID this week and gave it to several coworkers… well… if that’s the case… Why are you standing in the lobby with me and other customers?!?!?! Stay at home!!!
Theo Franks: This bank messed up a deposited check in my account over a week after I deposited it and then they aren’t even open on Wednesday and Thursday? There’s no holiday weekend why are they not open?
Alex Gorodinsky: Bank of America is quickly going down the drain. I have had all of my personal and business accounts with them since 2004, but I am moving them to other institutions one by one. Non-existent customer service, 30-minute wait times (!) on the phone on their "premium client" line, random closings of drive-thru services, aggressive marketing for extra services despite requests to be put on do-not-mail lists, etc etc. Even their trading and investment systems are clunky and outdated. With their money and resources, it's a shame that they are dropping the ball on every facet of banking and finance.

I tried to have a simple issue taken care of with a teller and I was told I need an appointment and the earliest one is 13 days away.They used to be able to provide these simple services on a walk in basis.I went to US bank and was able to create an account AND take care of my issue right away confirming my expectation is not unreasonable.Will be switching my automatic deposits to IS bank.
Robert Lamberg: The bank seems to have closed about 30 to 50% of its branches in St Louis. Are the ones that are open they close at 4:00 in the afternoon giving working people no time to get to the bank to do business. You cannot just walk in and take care of business because they don't have enough employee so you have to make an appointment ahead of time or sit and wait and hope there's an opening. There are big bank and Clayton no longer is open on Saturdays. Google needs to fix that. Unlike the service in the banks, the service on the telephone with their professionals is excellent. I think covered was just a good excuse for them to trim personnel and decrease their already marginal service in the banks like so many other companies.

Daniel Richter: This has to be one of the worst branch locations. Always slow. Today, there was a line of 10 people and three staff. One took their lunch break and the other just disappeared, leaving one person to take care of everyone’s transactions. It’s been 15 minutes and the line hasn’t moved.

Chris Carroll: I started the process of closing an account about a year ago. I have received multiple different forms to fill out, some looking the same, with just a minor difference to it. Every time I call, it seems to be an issue with something. Whether a new form needs to be filled out, or there is some technical difficulty. This is beyond ridiculous. It should not be this long to get my money back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

HUH ZZS: Wells Fargo Advisors won't let me use my cash to buy some certain stocks, I can only sell it. This practice is so fishy and illegal. William Dressel: I've spent way too much time on hold for 2 payoff numbers for a business and personal credit card account. I'm 46 minutes into the call and have been transferred to 7 different people and still dont have what I'm looking for... the last person told me they wont give me a payoff amount over the phone for my business account. She also has been trying to transfer me to another department and even she cant get through to the business elite department as they keep hanging up on her.Wells fargo does everything in their power for you not to enjoy doing business with them. My final time on the phone was 1 hour 2 minutes and 37 seconds.

Here is why, they take unfair fees:I had a check written from a friend from a Regions Bank Account. I had been carrying it around in my wallet. It was not that large of a check, but I decided because I was in the city to cash it. The bank teller at Regions took my ID and took my check and asked me to sign the check. I did so. She then told me that there was a $6 check cashing fee. I told her that since the check was written from a Regions account that there should be no fee.She said that she would go to her manager Justin for an override. She then went to Justin and Justin said that the $6 fee was mandatory. I said even for a check written on your account? He said yes and I told him that was a bad decision and I was going to kill him on the Internet which is what I am doing now. Do not bank at Regions bank. It is wrong for a bank to charge you to cash a check written on one of their accounts, a large percentage of the check. For instance, if you had a $20 check would it make sense to pay a $6 check cashing fee? I will never do business with Regions Bank. They disgust me.
