Belén Maliakkal: Great service and delicious food! I’ve been to other Peruvian restaurants in the St. Louis/St. Charles area, but I always return to Cocina Latina. They have the most authentic style food and their pollo a la brasa is delicious. Be sure to order extra green sauce because it is amazing! Their portions are much larger than other restaurants as well, which is something I appreciate.I see people have given bad ratings due to service, but I’d say this can happen at any restaurant. My experience has always been great and my family and I will continue to come.

It was an absolutely delicious meal–so simple yet so flavorful. The staff were excellent and I didn't have to wait long at all for the food to come out. I will definitely be back here again!

Deirdre Lewis: The service was terrible. After being seated (they pointed at the table we had reserved and walked away), we had to get the waiter's attention to get drinks (we waited and didn't seem to be getting service anytime soon before trying to get the waiter's attention and it was not very busy). It took forever to get drinks, and when we got them, they were not good. When we finally got to order appetizers, we tried to also order our meals, since everything seemed to be taking a long time, but the waiter walked away before we even had a chance to say what we wanted. Not sad about it because we decided that we would just pay our bill and leave, since they clearly didn't want us there. The waiter spent most of his time leaning against the bar chatting with a buddy. The flavors of the apps were good, so I'm sad we didn't get to try more Peruvian food, because I think the food would have been really yummy, but we didn't want to stay in a place that didn't want us there. We were out for a double date night with friends and were looking to have a fun evening. When you have to work to get anything brought to the table, it's not fun anymore. Also, it cost $100 for 4 drinks and 4 apps, which I'm still trying to wrap my head around, since the apps were mostly in the $5-8 range.

kay riddle: My son and I sat at the counter. Great taco salad. It was great to find this free parking, if why we looked for this restaurant. In the area it's not easy to park. We were delighted to find this clean place to eat Mexican food. Yum.Parking: Parking lot in around to the back. Thank you for free parking in this area. Great food. Spanish/English is a little difficult for this English only speaking old gal but it was all good. Great people.

Cristal Luna: The restaurant was completely packed when I walked in. I had no issues with a long wait, it was to be expected. I stood at the register for 30 mins, I was never greeted or asked if I needed anything. Being that it was busy I didn’t want to take it personal. What upset me was when 3 people, yes 3 people who walked in after me had their order taken. All whom were Spanish speaking people. At first I thought they had online or pickup orders but that wasn’t the case. They all placed orders and then exchanged money. Finally a women decided to take my order and I went to sit down. As I approached the table my bf explained how another table was ignored multiple times and had to ask the staff if someone was going to help them. This table was there before we arrived. I continued to watch them bring chips and continue to ignore not only my table my bf had been sitting at but the other table that complained. I’m very understanding to restaurant staff. I’m also the LAST person to pull the race card. But when I see you give good service and attention to Hispanic and white people and ignore African Americans, it’s sad in 2023 we have to have this conversation and it’s disgusting. I will never come back to this place. I also saw one of the waitresses touch food to see if it hot with her fingers after dealing with money. And to top it off this was some of the nastiest Mexican food I’ve had. These were the worst fries, street tacos and queso I’ve ever had. My bf ordered a steak quesadilla that wasn’t tasty. Don’t waste your time or money coming here.

Terri Maier: Have been here numerous times. Today menu had changed from last time I was here. But excited to report although it never disappointed me, it is even better now! Prices are still great, for the quantity of food but the quality is better! Highly recommend the chili relleno, (the best! Light with a great sauce and cheese that stretches for ever!) and the tamales. Delicious! Street tacos are good too, especially the carnitas. Don't discount the rice and beans, they are flavorful and not the goop you get at most places. Service is friendly and fast. Love this place and love the new menu!
