The only downside would be the steps to get to the upper floors for someone who has limited abilities, however this was not an issue for us. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard and parking in the back off the street.

Walter and Madeleine Korfmacher: We stayed at the Shaw house in St Louis for a week for a family reunion. Everything about the house and neighborhood was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the room temperature easily controlled, the parking was perfect and easy, backyard porch nice place to sit. Everything was within 15 minutes of the house and the neighborhood was beautiful place to walk. Shaw botanical gardens was actually walkable. I can completely recommend this vacation home without any reservations for a perfect place to stay in St Louis.

Lori Reily: STOLEN SECURITY DEPOSITOur daughter rented a home with three other girls from JZ Rentals for a year and a half while attending college in Saint Louis. It was a nice home and they had no problems with management or maintenance during their stay. However, when they moved out, JZ kept OVER HALF of their security deposit. They sent a list of reasons, and they all were routine maintenance items - such as painting, light bulbs, and smoke alarms. There was zero damage to the home. Our daughter sent a letter to the management, to no avail. Now we are forced to turn to Small Claims Court. I guess they figured they could take advantage of college students.Would have given zero stars, but it was a nice place and they had no problems until JZ stole their security deposit.I've added a photo.2253 Indiana Avenue? Are we talking about the same property?Holes, dents, red dye? That's not correct.

Dustin Woods: What a beautiful modern industrial rental within walking distance to everything. Fabulous, Amazing, Wonderful, I could go on and on. The rental is within walking distance to anything you may need. I was there two nights, parked my vehicle in a parking garage about half a mile away (there is closer parking) and didn't use it a single time during my stay. The host is extremely quick to respond to any questions you may have. As a property manager myself with 60+ rentals in Western North Carolina I am 1 jealous I dont have this rental in my portfolio and 2 was beyond grateful that for once I was not the one on the management side of it and was able to relax in this stunning rental. Laura Patidar: Cute vintage home, in a quiet area of St. Louis. Close enough to the attractions to go in less than 20 minutes but far enough to feel like your in a small city. It was perfect for my Husband, (newborn) Daughter, and I. We spent the week with my Mother (for mothers day) siteseeing in the city but could come back "home" in the evenings to a quiet house to relax and unwind. Will definitely book again if we are ever in St Louis.Thanks again to the Host for an enjoyable experience.

Arun Biswas: Very nice location in a working class neighborhood close to attractions and dining. The check-in and follow up from the manager was great and very responsive. This was a business stay and the proximity to downtown, universities and other attractions was great. The bungalow was quite clean and had a full kitchen with two large bedrooms. There was a full bath with tub, but it could use a makeover and was missing towel bars. Overall we had a great stay.

We love the historical charm in each unit, but with modern conveniences. Their units are well thought out with all that you need and you won't find any place cleaner than these!There is some noise, but that is part of the experience of staying in the city. Parking has never been an issue. Access to the key for the unit is very easy and accessible. There are some items in the fridge for your convenience…….and let’s not forget about those Trader Joe’s snacks that are provided!You will not regret staying at one of SFShannon's places. They respond quickly to any of your needs and try their best to accommodate you.

Suzanne Renard: We feel at home in our little apartment at 4161 Magnolia. The wood floors give a rich feel to the space. It's a pleasure to cook in the kitchen with the original deep enamel sink and big pantry, with the back door open to the trees and the sounds of birds. It's amazingly quiet for being right in the heart of a big city. The maintenance staff is very responsive, efficient, and professional. We got lots of support on moving day--a warm welcome and information on the details of life in this beautiful building, from use of the laundry room, to enjoyment of the serene garden area. Architecture like this cannot be found in many cities. Cheers to SF Shannon for the great service they do for St. Louis in maintaining these venerable, historical buildings--and treating their tenants so well! Tom and Suzanne

Very accommodating and fast regarding my requests for and fixing maintenance issues and are very lenient to tenants and rent who've been tenants for years . Externally, the constant repairing of the elevator is a bit of a concern as far as safety using it. Need more parking options especially during the weekends.

Jenny Temple: Our stay with SF Shannon last weekend was perfect! It was the perfect spot to stay with our daughter. The apartment near Tower Grove was lovely! There were so many thoughtful touches from cold drinks in the fridge, to breakfast foods, to snacks and candy, and a wonderful selection of teas. Our daughter LOVES tea and she was quite impressed with the selection. Everything was so cozy and inviting from the moment we stepped in the door. There was a lovely collection of books, movies, games, large TV and very comfortable furniture and beds. Even the fold out couch was extremely comfortable. We loved all the beautiful windows and stained glass accents. The kitchen was small, but mighty. I don't think we have ever stayed somewhere with such a well appointed kitchen. It has everything we could need and some fun snacks and coffee and such. The neighborhood was wonderful. It was located across from a large beautiful park. We enjoyed poking around the farmer's market at the park on Saturday. It was also just around the corner from the botanical gardens.

T&C Christian: My recent stay at Anna's Retreat was so accommodating, and full of lots of thoughtful extras that made my stay extra memorable. The space is furnished with charm and unique touches that provide cozy comfort. As a courtesy, thoughtful amenities of sweet and salty snacks, along with eggs, bagels, butter, cream and coffee had all been provided! The bedroom's queen mattress and bedding were super comfortable. I also really appreciated the closet storage, luggage racks, and empty dresser drawers for staying organized. The bathroom was bright and outfitted with ample towels and toiletries for my five night stay. Anna's Retreat is nestled in the midst of a lovely neighborhood setting with great walk-ability, with a local eatery and coffee shop right next door. My hosts were very communicative and attentive to my comfort. The self check-in process was a breeze, and the new digital key system is a nice upgrade. I highly recommend Anna's Retreat as the perfect combination of convenience and cozy!

Colleen Mattoon: Our family recently stayed at ABODEbucks Grand "La Chambre" property in the CWE.It is a Fabulous home - exactly as pictured and described, with the exception it has a little deck off the back of the house-bonus!Our family came into town from parts of the northeast, for our daughter's thesis defense. We stayed for 4 nights.Great space - everyone was comfortable. We did a lot of entertaining - meals and family celebrations. Plenty of dishes, glasses, etc.The house was very clean upon arrival and the property manager/owner was always so prompt and happy to answer any of my questions.The downstairs bedroom and bath was perfect for my older mom who is not so steady doing a lot of stairs. The second and third floors provided plenty of bedrooms and baths for the rest of the family to sleep, get ready and relax comfortably.Truly enjoyable for all of us!We definitely recommend this house and ABODEbucks! We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and our friends had a wonderful stay at the McKinley Heights/Fox Park property. The pictures from their reservations site was exactly what we got, which was a beautiful property. Our whole party agreed on the character and coziness of the property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything that we could need (including spices of all kinds). We are looking forward to returning to this property or trying out one of their other properties. If you are planning to visit St Louis, and you want to use a more value friendly service than AirBnB or VRBO, do not hesitate to go to their reservations site.

Fern Cafe few blocks away for great coffee, breakfast and lunch and pub on the corner for dinner. One must go to Icee for nitro ice cream. Great location with easy access to everything we wanted to see in St. Louis. Adobebucks staff were very attentive, checking in with us upon our arrival and during our stay. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend both the home and Adobebucks. Great management company.

Erin Schulte: We really enjoyed our stay at one of the houses near Tower Grove. I forgot to take pictures, but everything was exactly as described on the website, the house was clean and well stocked, and all the items in the home (especially the AC!) were great. The house had plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The only issue we had was our code to the front door wasn't moved up for our early check-in, but with a quick call we were able to get in with a temporary code until ours was active. Absolutely will use them again when visiting!

Amy Winsor: July 2022: We and our son's family stayed here for 4 nights during our family trip to St. Louis.The interior was beautiful and very clean, with brand new kitchen and bathrooms, stylish furniture and wall colors. Very high ceilings. Nice pots and pans in the kitchen.On the second floor there were 3 huge bedrooms each with a king size bed. One of those was the master bedroom which had a wonderful bathroom. There was also a bathroom off the hall for the other bedrooms and a half-bath near the kitchen. (total of 2.5 bathrooms.) On the third floor there was one large bedroom with 6 twin beds for the children. We could see the Arch out of the 3rd floor bedroom window.Very close to the St. Louis Arch, St. Louis Zoo, City Museum.There was a garage door opener from the alley, so two cars were safely parked inside the fence under a carport.The door to the basement wasn't locked so some family members went down there, and said there was nothing to see, it was basically unfinished down there.There was a play structure in the large backyard. I guess my only complaint was that no one had weed whacked around the play structure so the weeds were high, but it didn't matter since it was over 100 degrees every day and the children couldn't play out there in the heat.We had a nice time and were very satisfied with the house.

Julie Koeppel: Unfortunately, our experience with the Luxury Penthouse Loft, 1635 Washington Ave., in St. Louis was below par. There was an issue with the lock box/keys which was resolved within ~1 hour. The floors had not been swept or vacuumed. The bathrooms were nicely designed but the master tub was unusable and dripping due to broken handle/faucet, the shower floor was disgusting and there was much mold in the grout on the shower walls. The kitchen was not equipped to host up to 12 guests as stated. Three of the beds were decent but others were broken or uncomfortable. The deck was small, which we knew, but the table and one chair were both broken and unusable. We realize it's an old building but also killed a very large cockroach. We made the best of it and enjoyed our company but will definitely avoid that one in the future.
