Mark Sossamon: Stopped in here to have lunch on our way to Lake of the Ozarks. Very nice inside, someone did a great job on remodeling. It's bigger on the inside than it looks. It has a dance floor with a DJ set up. The food was great and the employees were very nice. I was tempted to leave a bad review Because they did not give us good service But I did notice think of the rest of the rest of the restaurant good service And I'm not sute how the service would have been for us If they had been given the right Information about our party My aunt was in charge of setting up the location And she told them we had a party of 15 So when we arrived they did have a backroom And tables set up for 15 people and a waitress waiting.Well there was over 40 of us So they were not staffed or prepared for a party of that size I so it took forever to get anything. But I believe that if they had been given the right information That they would have given great service One plus side that I can say Is that we did have a backroom And we were extremely loud I felt very comfortable They even have couches back there, So I would definitely recommend them for a party But I would definitely recommend Making sure that you know how many people will be in your party.Wheelchair accessibility: they are wheel chair accessible.

jessing777: I ordered takeout about an hour ago. The phone was busy so I went in and ordered in person. I sat at the bar and had a beer while waiting on my order. They said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. I waited 40, no problem they were busy. I am staying at hotel across the street got to my room. The food was cold and old like it had been sitting there for quite a while. There was hardly any chicken whatsoever in the enchiladas. It’s was gross. I travel a lot. The quality of restaurants have just in general gone down. I will never return. Don’t waste your money especially on take out.
Barb Beezley: The food is the closest thing to being in Cozumel we've found in this area! Fresh, hot, amazing flavors! The service is perfect. The beans are yummy! Everything we've tried, so far, has been just delicious! The music, the decor, Everything! This place is so fun to go to! The warm salsa with chips, as well as the regular, is worth the trip! It's like going on vacation, even if you only have an hour!!

We got chicken fajitas to share, I can't eat green peppers and asked for none but wanted more onions. Asked for onions to be cooked well done. The order came out and there was a good amount of chicken but not double the onions and most of the ones we got were burnt black. We also got an order of ground beef chili rellano. When we got home with that order it was chicken rellano which the person that ordered can't eat chicken. Chips were hot and fresh as was the sauce.

Adam Russell: Quality of food has gone way down. Service was good. I went on Friday 11/11 for lunch, ordered a chicken and beef enchilada with rice. The chicken enchilada was not warm at all and it was hard inside. The rice was not fresh, with in 30 minutes of eating I was sick to my stomach and needed bathroom asap. I will not be back. I use to go here all the time.

Emily Matney: We had the Baja and a taco salad. Both were spectacular. What stood out the most for my fiance and me was our server, Kevin. Kevin made sure our drinks were filled, he was so incredibly helpful with suggestions and recommendations, and just all around super hospitable and accommodating. William Harrison: Stopped in for early dinner about 2:30 on a weekday. Seated quickly. Ordered quickly, very friendly. Big tables. Big boothes. Different levels. Comfortable and kind of fancy decorations plus a very clean atmosphere make it feel like 5 star. The service was attentive, not intrusive, timely, and overall a benchmark of what it should be. The wait from kitchen to table was as expected and normal. The food arrived sizzling and filled the air with authentic savory sensation.After eating at several similar restaurants, we both decided that the flavors here stand out as 5 star. We had tacos and tamales and enchiladas, and they did not hold back on the chips, sauces, and cheeses. It was great, satisfying, and we will be visiting regularly. GO!

Northside Youth: My husband and I eat here often, usually after church on a Sunday. We have tried several other Mexican restaurants around town and they just don't compare! El Maguey has the best food, prices, service and portions! Most generally we don't have much of a wait at all for our food. I would recommend to anyone! BTW..... my favorite dish is the Arroz Con Pollo! So yummy!

Tammy M: I think the only thing I've ordered yet that was disappointing was the tamales. I grew up on a border town and from Arizona where tamales tend to be a good size. Other than that, I have enjoyed everything. I'm picky about salsa and thiers is very good. Good seating, good wait staff, and reasonable price for the portion size. I mainly order to go through the drive through which has never taken more than 10 minutes.

Kira: This is THE BEST Mexican food in all of Springfield hands down. My husband and I shared the Big Tijuana which I also recommend you do if you always have a bunch of food left over and don't do to-ggo boxes or leftovers. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff are all attentive and sweet, it's clean and the food is absolutely a 10/10. Even my picky 7 year old (who got a quesadilla) enjoyed their spicy salsa and chips while we waited.You are honestly missing out if you don't eat here.

She was efficient/quick, remembered every bit of the order and got everything right. Small things, super packed and sitting at the bar I had to avoid the servers walking by the whole time and the chips were super "sharp" and cut up my mouth a bit. Will be going again though for sure.

I was amazed by their ketchup cilantro pudding and should have known at that point it wouldn’t be worth ordering. Got the #3 and couldn’t take a second bite of a taco and wouldn’t even try the enchilada. Literally rubber rolled up filled with barely any meat and slopped on some weird sauce. Should’ve just gone to Taco Bell but wanted to try “authentic Mexican” night and appetite ruined. The server was kind for sure but we wasted money as we couldn’t even eat the food.

The food had very good flavors. Super tasty. I might not get the pork ribs in the fajitas next time, but it was still awesome. Might replace it with Carnita meat next time. Rolando Otero: Very stylish Mexican restaurant with great food. My wife and I went there for lunch and were greeted by friendly staff and very savory lunch menu with reasonable prices. I had the Burrito de Carnitas which I didn’t realize would be smothered with cheese sauce. I normally don’t like that but this cheesy sauce was scrumptious! I also tried the Rancheros beans which was so tasty with a hint of chorizo in it. My wife got the chicken enchilada which she raved over. It’s a nice place for that special night out. Can’t wait to come back.

Ciri: I must say the people here are not that great. One of the host who sat me was awesome and very kind. Even tho it was a wait. She kept talking to me and it made my day but for the servers not great. they keep getting my order wrong. And was just rude to begin with. when I was leaving the host who sat me just smiled and made me laugh as I left. I think she knew something was wrong. Anyways I'm saying she was the one who made my day. And made me want to come back. If she is ever fired or something I will not be coming back

Dallas Miller: Food was OK at best, I had the combination plate which had the same taste across the plate. Same unseasoned ground beef in the taco as the enchilada. Same bland refried beans in the "burrito"(beans rolled in a tortilla)as the plate. Salsa was sweet like marinara. And best of all, they charge 3% for using a card.

The carnitas tasted a lot like pork pot roast without any seasoning. So it tasted a lot like tortilla chips with pot roast covered in cheese.
