jessing777: I ordered takeout about an hour ago. The phone was busy so I went in and ordered in person. I sat at the bar and had a beer while waiting on my order. They said it would take 15 to 20 minutes. I waited 40, no problem they were busy. I am staying at hotel across the street got to my room. The food was cold and old like it had been sitting there for quite a while. There was hardly any chicken whatsoever in the enchiladas. It’s was gross. I travel a lot. The quality of restaurants have just in general gone down. I will never return. Don’t waste your money especially on take out.
Barb Beezley: The food is the closest thing to being in Cozumel we've found in this area! Fresh, hot, amazing flavors! The service is perfect. The beans are yummy! Everything we've tried, so far, has been just delicious! The music, the decor, Everything! This place is so fun to go to! The warm salsa with chips, as well as the regular, is worth the trip! It's like going on vacation, even if you only have an hour!!

Ellen Gray: Update: great food and great service, too bad they are closing.It was just an ok experience. We got chicken fajitas to share, I can't eat green peppers and asked for none but wanted more onions. Asked for onions to be cooked well done. The order came out and there was a good amount of chicken but not double the onions and most of the ones we got were burnt black. We also got an order of ground beef chili rellano. When we got home with that order it was chicken rellano which the person that ordered can't eat chicken. Chips were hot and fresh as was the sauce.

Adam Russell: Quality of food has gone way down. Service was good. I went on Friday 11/11 for lunch, ordered a chicken and beef enchilada with rice. The chicken enchilada was not warm at all and it was hard inside. The rice was not fresh, with in 30 minutes of eating I was sick to my stomach and needed bathroom asap. I will not be back. I use to go here all the time.

Emily Matney: We had the Baja and a taco salad. Both were spectacular. What stood out the most for my fiance and me was our server, Kevin. Kevin made sure our drinks were filled, he was so incredibly helpful with suggestions and recommendations, and just all around super hospitable and accommodating. We would come back just because of his amazing attitude alone. The food, the atmosphere, the service, we will definitely be back.

Rolando Otero: Very stylish Mexican restaurant with great food. My wife and I went there for lunch and were greeted by friendly staff and very savory lunch menu with reasonable prices. I had the Burrito de Carnitas which I didn’t realize would be smothered with cheese sauce. I normally don’t like that but this cheesy sauce was scrumptious! I also tried the Rancheros beans which was so tasty with a hint of chorizo in it. My wife got the chicken enchilada which she raved over. It’s a nice place for that special night out. Can’t wait to come back.

Ciri: I must say the people here are not that great. One of the host who sat me was awesome and very kind. Even tho it was a wait. She kept talking to me and it made my day but for the servers not great. they keep getting my order wrong. Dallas Miller: Food was OK at best, I had the combination plate which had the same taste across the plate. Same unseasoned ground beef in the taco as the enchilada. Same bland refried beans in the "burrito"(beans rolled in a tortilla)as the plate. Salsa was sweet like marinara. And best of all, they charge 3% for using a card.

The carnitas tasted a lot like pork pot roast without any seasoning. So it tasted a lot like tortilla chips with pot roast covered in cheese. The dish also had a pepper icon indicating that it was supposed to be spicy, but I found it to be very mild. Got the #3 and couldn’t take a second bite of a taco and wouldn’t even try the enchilada. Literally rubber rolled up filled with barely any meat and slopped on some weird sauce. Justin Murphy: A few coworkers and I were looking for a good spot to eat lunch and settled on El Puente. We were seated very quickly and the service was pretty good. All of our dishes were tasty and up to par, and the vibes were exactly as expected for a Mexican restaurant. It wasn’t anything really amazing or out of the ordinary, but definitely a solid spot. I would come here again, for sure.

Tom T.: Margaritas were decent but small. T-bone steak was very thin and way over cooked, however the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Chimichanga was tiny compared to other restaurants in the SGF area. Guacamole was more crushed avocado as it was bland with no seasoning or diced vegetables. The server was very nice but was a "ghost" after serving our food. I expected more from this establishment being on Republic Rd. With the quantity of Mexican style restaurants in the area, this one was very dismal.

Brandon Lauthern: I hate having to change my review, but tonight was an opinion-changing experience. I ordered the El Puente Fajitas. Everyone else's food came out fairly quickly, as did my beans, rice, and guacamole plate. Everyone else was nearly finished with their meal before my fajita meat even got to the table. By then, my beans and rice were cold and Everyone just sat and waited for me to finish. I ordered corn tortillas, and the waiter brought flour tortillas. That wasn't the worst of it though. The El Puente Fajitas comes with shrimp, chicken, pork, and beef. As I hurriedly ate my meal, I realized that the pork was not only rubbery but . . . It had bones in it. When I brought this to the attention of our waiter, he simply stated that "those were ribs" and that's "how the pork comes". In a fajita!?! Yeah, I probably won't be back.If you eat here, chew your food thoroughly, folks.

Kira: This is THE BEST Mexican food in all of Springfield hands down. My husband and I shared the Big Tijuana which I also recommend you do if you always have a bunch of food left over and don't do to-ggo boxes or leftovers. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff are all attentive and sweet, it's clean and the food is absolutely a 10/10. Even my picky 7 year old (who got a quesadilla) enjoyed their spicy salsa and chips while we waited.You are honestly missing out if you don't eat here.
Matt Manno: First time dining here. I loved the food, the burrito I got was huge and the grilled chicken is awesome 💯. Salsa is on point and probably one of the best servers I've had. She was efficient/quick, remembered every bit of the order and got everything right. Small things, super packed and sitting at the bar I had to avoid the servers walking by the whole time and the chips were super "sharp" and cut up my mouth a bit. Will be going again though for sure.

Johnnie S: I wish I could give it less. I started eating my Texas fajitas until I noticed a foul smell. The shrimp was bad. Both my sister and I noticed it. We're both chefs so we knew instantly it was bad. She tried to make me more shrimp and argued that it was fresh and she didn't notice the smell. I refused to continue eating the fajitas because of cross contamination worried I'd get sick. She still charged me for the food. I didn't say the beans or anything. I ate one tortilla and she got an attitude claiming I ate the entire fajita. She then said whatever just leave it on the counter you don't have to pay. I don't mind paying for anything just give me good food. However,I will never go back off the fact you can't establish the difference between good and bad shrimp. On the way out I hear her say "don't bring customers like that back" as if I was wrong. That was very unprofessional and uncalled for. My sister now has diarrhea. Word of advice, smell your food and make sure it's fresh and safe to eat.

Allan Harper: Got our food to go (we live literally 2 minutes away) it was all cold. Her taco salad was soggy and my chimichanga, rice, and beans were all cold. Not 20 minutes after I finished my cold meal I had extreme violent vomiting and bowel movements. I tried to call multiple times that night and the next day yet their phone is constantly busy as if they just leave it off the hook. I went back to speak to a manager or the owner and was told that the owner would NOT call me back and that I'd just have to keep coming back to see if he's there...DO NOT eat here unless you want food poisoning and horrible service!

Tammy M: I think the only thing I've ordered yet that was disappointing was the tamales. I grew up on a border town and from Arizona where tamales tend to be a good size. Other than that, I have enjoyed everything. I'm picky about salsa and thiers is very good. Good seating, good wait staff, and reasonable price for the portion size. I mainly order to go through the drive through which has never taken more than 10 minutes.

The first thing I noticed was that the space was really clean and the atmosphere was really nice. The place wasn’t crowded at all, so we were able to order right away. They have 3 people working and 2 do online orders and 1 takes care of the long line of customers. In person customers should be priority and to make them wait is not good customer service. This store is run poorly. I have never had this happen at any other store.

(April 10th, 11:30) The girl helping me wasn’t listening at all, I asked for a tortilla and never got it, I asked for fajita veggies and she said they were out, but the person immediately after me was helped by a different person (that dude is always great) and they just made them more veggies, I asked for a salad and got a bowl with a little lettuce on top, I ask 3 times for the dressing to be on the side and instead she squirted it all over my bowl and didn’t fix it. I don’t know if she was new or just super high, but definitely a disappointing experience at a place who’s food I usually really like.
Kyle Bresters: Not only was this a horrible place to work for during COVID as the restrooms were never cleaned by management. But now years later during a heat snap I’m about to pass out from the heat and a old lady in your corporate office asks me to leave although I was nice in the beginning after moving to try to get some relief from the conditions she again asked me to leave, I did not hold back I’m unfortunately living in my car until I can get into a rental and I did not have the human decency to not let her know my mind, I will never patronize your establishment again it is obviously not a place of kindness.
Jjblove: Did a pick up and got a burrito. They gave me a square half burrito. Spending so much for a burrito and getting what looks like half of what you ordered is frustrating.
Edward Goin: Scraped the bottom of the metal container for not even a full scoop of rice, same with beans, extremely small portions, also about $12 for the bowl. Last time I went it was better and I get that they’re busy, but I waited for 20 min, they could’ve asked me to wait 5 min and made more, or told me they didn’t have enough for a full serving.

My nacho bowl was made incorrectly and sloppily to the point where everything was spilling out through the lid. They gave me the tiniest amount of chips and said that's all they give. For 2 nacho bowls?! I'm NEVER returning again. I'm beyond disgusted with the customer service.
