Peter Kubla: Well folks it wasn't good. I got charged $1229.66 for a set of valve cover gaskets and a new water pump. When I got the car back it still leaked oil and for some reason it wouldn't idle. Kept dying. Come to find out by myself that the mechanic didn't put the intake back correctly. Had to fix that myself. Took it back the following week. They kept it for a week and said that they couldn't do anything more. So, after all that, the car still leaks oil and I lost all that hard earned money. Didn't get any refund. Would not recommend this place even to my ex wife. Very Very disappointed.

Lori Ousterhout: I was frustrated with not getting my detail done. Mr Goodwin had it done the next day. Mr Goodwin also explained how long a detail takes. This helped explain everything. Mr Goodwin split the cost of the detail with me as well. You all went above and beyond.

Brian Newton: I’m really tired of getting all these surveys after getting an oil change. You did ok, that’s the bottom line. Nothing outstanding, nothing terrible.I would say the things to work on are 1) the price of an oil change is extremely high - the only reason I have my car serviced at Reliable is because it’s a Chevrolet and I trust the mechanics more than at a general shop. 2) It would be nice to have an advisor come speak to the customer rather than doing business through text messages. Not all of us are 22 y/o - some of us actually still prefer face-to-face human interaction and being told of what is going on with the vehicle. 3) Free bottles of water would be nice, especially in the summertime. My wife has her car serviced at Pinegar Honda and they provide free water and snacks for customers, not to mention the price for an oil change is significantly lower. Just some food for thought - you want to know what to work on, there you go.

random person: Not usually the person who writes reviews, however I feel this needs to be said! Do NOT purchase here if you want to finance your vehicle through any other company but theirs. They said they did not allow outside financing, and we asked to speak with the manager and they made an exception. However they still wanted to run me on my credit to see if their rates compared, which I denied because I didn’t want it to impact my score, and I knew my rates were good with the credit union. Initially I was told $300 would be taken off, and the tire package add on for $800 was “optional”. However after going outside to make a decision to purchase the vehicle, with all intentions of doing so, we came back in to a non negotiable price, and and added $800 tire package that was not “optional” because we were not financing with them. Which is exactly what we were told after being told it was optional!I then denied the offer and left due to this. I work in insurance, and marketing, and I know the rates are high. However, financing somewhere else is NOT an option!! Unless you want to pay WAY more!After totaling my car and going through an extremely traumatic accident, I was shocked to be treated like this. I’m also younger and felt I was being pushed into something because of this. I understand high inflation, but marketing is about doing what is best for each customer!In all respects, Chris was a great marketer, however, management needs to be more considerate of the right of choice!!

Doug Dozier: Escorted a friend to get a vehicle from here, before the test drive car wont come on, the guy showing us the car said it because of the cold weather. a few days after my buddy got the car, battery died and he had to spend a couple of dollars to get a new battery. Afterwards we found out so many things about the car that was wrong and will cost thousands of dollars to fix , when my buddy decide to reach out to the them the lady at the shop was rude and said my buddy is complaining to alot about buying a used car. is buying a used means you guys sell junk to people? i dont recommend this business. i dont think they are truthful. Avoid doing business with them

Lee S.: Bought a pretty nice BMW here. Employees were friendly. Check engine light came on after purchase on the drive home. It was a weekend. Also smells like burning oil. After inspection there is an oil leak from somewhere leaking on the exhaust. Looks like it needs an O2 sensor as well. There was no check engine like or smell of oil during test drive. Shame there was no warranty... even a very short one. Would be 5 stars if I didn't have to work on it as soon as I bought it.

From the moment we walked on to the lot, to the moment we got the title, they were absolutely incredible.There was a light coming on when we test drove it, so they took it to their mechanics and fixed it. They also did our inspection and found a few things that needed replaced and did that for us too, without question, before we took ownership.We've had really bad luck buying cars the last few years, and were very nervous to have to do this process again. However, Car Barn helped us through the process the whole time, and made it much less stressful for us. We will absolutely use them again in the future!
Kristen Eastling: Very friendly staff. We purchased a 2001 chevy s10. It needed some repairs, which we knew we’d have to pay for (we bought the vehicle as is) and the staff even fixed 2 of the issues before we drove it home. We paid $5,000 for the car at the beginning of may, and it’s in the shop now getting $1,300 in repairs, some we didn’t know we needed. All together though, it is a good little work truck and my husband still enjoys it. My only complaint is there was no room for negotiation on the purchase price of the vehicle, with both parties (us and staff) knowing it needed repairs. But, because they fixed 2 of the issues before we drove it home, I think that was a good compromise.

Its a family own business and all of them are professional, friendly and approchable. They help me with all of the requirements that I needed to run my car legally here in Missouri. It was a great experience dealing with them, very straight forward without any of that shenanigans.

Leroy Kratzer: We bought a 2012 Impala and went to DMV and found out they didn't put all of our trade and other money we put down on the paperwork and cost more money and it had a transmission line leaking which was 2 quarts low the oil was 3 quarts low and a bad tire pressure monitor and 1/2 gallon low on coolant we are not ever going to do anything with them they called every day
Michael Layman: Stay away from this car lot! Get your own state inspection cause whoever they have do theirs will just pass it, regardless it needing obvious work. They’ll start with the oh let us know we will do our best to help you but then assume you went mudding or took parts apart, when you try to reach out again after issue after having the vehicle for 3 weeks. Try to give you all this run around and talk like they know anything about vehicles.

CHRIS HEFFERNON: I'll say I never like dealerships but these people are the tops...10...A 10! I had my GMC Serria Denali truck in there for simple recalls two years ago, got it done asap and even fixed what another local dealership messed up, NO CHARGE. My sons Cruz was having issues last week, I replaced 2 needed sensors but still chasing issue. Hate when you have multiple legitimate things going on at once, told my son to get car in there, BOOM...FIXED, NO CHARGE! I never wouldve found it and GM had extended warranty on this part so no charged, couldnt believe it. Any other place had the perfect time to put the screws to you and these people are AWESOME!!! My son was overly happy since he had just spent almost $1000 keeping his daughter's new puppy alive from a usually fatal illness. THEN....I mention that my Serria truck, with over 200,000 miles...I love this truck, will be a million mile truck, was giving the "theft deterrent" service code. I was asking about buying a new key since for 200,000 miles I've only had one key and it was obviously worn, the very nice service Lady stated that it can be the fob battery too...guess what, she pulls out a battery and changes it for me, NO CHARGE! I havent had a problem since...LOVE THAT TRUCK!!!...shes a cutie too, wink wink. Go see these ladys and Gents, you wont regret it. I will not go anywhere else. I would happily pay for service in the future. Yes, Drive a Chevrolet!

Max Muzychenko: Well it all started with a bad sensor. Suburban was in the shop for 10 days brought it home after being fixed the same issue continues. At first I was super frustrated that our new vehicle was breaking down. I work on the road my wife is a stay home mom with 5 kids. Then miscommunication with the service manager really heated things up. I mean I was almost banned from ever coming to this store. But what I really liked is that the service manager Jody was eager to find a solution despite our misunderstanding. I came to the store myself and met Jody face to face. My advice is when things get heated take a minute to cool off then find common ground. Forgiveness is always an amazing option. We can make friends if we are willing to be friendly.

Upon further review the car had previous frame damage and there were 2 large holes cut via torch on driver and the passanger side frame. Knowing anything about vehicles THATS VERY DANGEROUS!!!!

I’m super happy with my car and I’m glad I didn’t go somewhere else.
