Seigfred Samala: A friend of mine had an earlier reservation for a U-Haul Truck at a different location that we felt was very sketchy side of town, and so we were driving around and googled U-Haul authorized locations and found this place. Long story short, the manager/owner was very helpful at canceling the other reservation and was very pleasant and helpful to get us going. Highly recommended!

They had no problem with us taking it to a mechanic to have it checked. The mechanic said it was in great condition. And the best thing is, it was the least expensive car we had drove in the last 2 todays.

Griffin Family: Horrible experience, I put 6000 dollars down on a Nissan Murano and everything was going good for the first week which just so happens to be the time you can take the car back. Anyway they told me to they would loop in my sales tax as part of the deal and I would have to come back in ten days to get the check, well I waited thirteen days and went to get it but, no check, they said we will figure out what happened and give me a call when it comes in. I waited seven more days went in and the same thing happened this time though they said it was a mistake on their part and it was going to cost me 2000 more dollars on the loan to fix it. I fixed that and waited ten more days now my temp tag are expired there is going to be a penalty when I get it tagged and still no check. I wonder who is going to pay the penalty or the ticket if I should receive one. So far a few words come to mind lazy, incompetent, and greediness. Would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Ken Hempen: we took our GL450 in to have a service B, we also had a check engine light on. They did the service B but could not fix the code on the check engine light due to not have parts that would have to be ordered. Yesterday the GL show that we need to have the Service B done in 600 miles. They never cleared the service code. I have never had issues like this at any Mercedes dealer from Chicago to Tulsa. They also would not provide us with a car while we were there. I found out from a family friend that he to had a very bad service experience at this dealership. I would not recommend this Mercedes Dealer service department.

Tammy Sherrell-Shortt: I had the worst customer service experience ever! My daughter's car went in for a "Service B" that is recommended by the dealer. We live near Table Rock Lake and their policy is they have "no loaner cars" for their clients (my dealer offers loaners, so it is stilla thing...even post Covid despite what they say). She spent the first night at a friend's house bc the car wasn't completed and at 4 p.m. the following day, she was informed her car still won't be ready. I called the service dept and asked if there were any options (since it is 4:15 and I would need to drive an hour and a half to pick her up). Jason was irritated and rude and when questioned why they didn't know earlier in the day so we could make arrangements told me "we don't make enough money for the hassle this work is" Quite honestly, what they charge is their business and their recommended service lists...I"m not sure how that was my fault or problem. I was not only speechless --but dumbfounded to find out that Jason is The Manager of the Service Department. I would warn anyone used to a luxury car dealership to NOT go to Elite Automotive Group to buy a car or have your current car serviced if you value your time and expect the very baseline level of customer service. You will not find it at Elite.

Another option was to come back another time on a weekday when maintenance mechanics are there instead (I went on a weekend since I live 1.5 hrs away), which is not possible for me.Staff was very nice and courteous though, and lent me a vehicle as I would be stuck for 4 hours. I’m not sure if they have the best mechanics? Will need to go see others and find out the reason for the annoying squeak

Tori Tramel: Do not, I repeat, do not go to this dealership unless you want to get scammed by the finance office. They sold us an MPP silver extended warranty that doesn't actually cover anything. We were told that it covered the parts related to the items on the list when in fact, unless its the very specific item and only that part fails, nothing is covered. Additionally, if the part fails later on it won't be covered because the other part is considered to be a "pre-existing" issue that could have caused that part to fail.This dealership seems to barely recondition a car (surface things seem only to be repaired) and then they sell you a useless "warranty" which won't cover any of the issues that inevitably break because they do a slapshod job in fixing up the car just to sell it.

I have tried to contact Bruce about it since April and still no response.Here is an update! I called the dealership the next day after I left this review and I spoke to the Manager Dewayne he told me that the owner saw my review and wasn't happy I left this review and that if I hadn't left the review then he would of fixed the problem. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that has a bad engine and will cost about 6000 to fix.

Amanda P: After a verbal and written agreement to buy a camper for a set price and establishing a time for pick up and payment, the camper was sold out from underneath me 5 hours later. I was never given the opportunity to conduct business with the individual, but dealt solely with Leo, the manager at 417 Autoland. He messaged me on Facebook Messenger and confirmed the acceptance of my offer, and when I called him this morning, he verbally agreed to it, the sale, and a pickup time of 4:00, Monday, April 27th. He never asked for or indicated a needed deposit. Had he requested one or advised one would be required to hold the camper, I would have provided one today. The business owner then sold it out from under me for a different price, claiming it was his own personal property. When I was contacted by Leo this afternoon, he advised me it belonged to the dealership owner and he could do whatever he wanted with his own personal property. The camper was listed through 417 Autoland, and it was listed through 417 Autoland's Facebook page, which is where I found the listing. All contact was made with 417 Autoland through the Facebook Messenger App, until I called this morning. When I tried to establish an earlier pick up time on Sunday, Leo advised me that it was being sold through 417 Autoland and they were not allowed to conduct sales on a Sunday. But when it came time to advise me of it being sold to someone else later today, it became the personal property of the business owner.

I asked my Facebook friends for recommendations and the first one was 417 Autoland, so naturally that was the first place I tried. I know that I should've shopped around, but Leo offered me a great deal! The 1st place I went, the first car I looked at, a 2013 Toyota Corolla, and I was sold.... I took a risk and I don't have any regrets. I love this car! Thanks Leo! You're an honest guy and I appreciate you! I've already recommended 417 Autoland on several occasions, and I will continue to do so.....

Charlotte Hatch: This was our first CarMax experience. We paid shipping for a Kia Sedona to come from Mobile, AL to Spfld, MO. After over 2 weeks of waiting, and multiple attempts at contact to find out when the vehicle would be ready to see, we finally visited the vehicle in person. We had dual appraisal and test drive appointments.Interior and exterior had not been detailed at all. We could see the exterior had been "washed" but it looked more like a garden hose job as dirt and dust was still evident in midline streaks all around the vehicle. The inner frame where doors open and close also had dirt on it so our family got dirty getting in and out. We could not open the the back hatch to inspect the cargo area and lay down 3rd row seats due to the vehicle being parked so close to the parking pole.Upon inspecting underneath we saw the van possibly had a slow oil leak or oil was spilled when doing the oil change but we saw no signs of a spill under the hood, leading us to believe it was indeed a proper oil leak. This should have been found and corrected properly before it was available to customers.An oil leak is a huge deal in our book and detailing is standard, even in the used car industry.Tires were old and should have been replaced with something that had at least half tread left. My family also noted many scratches on the exterior. Two were deep and could have been filled.Test drive was fine but the obvious lack of care for the vehicle overshadowed everything else and only one adult drove. At that point, it was just a comparison test since we knew were were moving on yet had not driven a Sedona up to that point, and we knew we would not be making a purchase due to possible mechanical issues.For the price point, we expected better. For the positive reputation CarMax seems to have garnered, we expected better.Washing, drying & detailing and proper mechanical review is basic care. Making certain customers can enter & exit a vehicle without getting dirt on their clothing is non negotiable. Ensuring the vehicle can be opened and inspected from all angles is paramount.CarMax had a golden opportunity with us and they missed the mark.Overall, our first experience with CarMax was disappointing. We certainly are not eager to do it again and have shared with our family and friends our poor experience.The one bright spot was the salesman or customer specialist. He was courteous and kind. He took time to speak with with each family member, pulled out chairs for us, engaged in proper small talk that felt natural and was down to earth. He didn't push and we left feeling sorry for him with so much personal potential wasted working at CarMax.It is not his fault the company is not concerned about quality vehicle care.
