We picked up a couple dozen tamales for holiday entertaining just last night. Excellent! The order was easy place via Facebook messenger and they were able to assist with sort of a specialty request. Very friendly. Don’t pass this up if you are looking for authentic.

Colby-michael “Voltif” Hasick: Had a great experience. Had a vanilla and chocolate conchas and a burrito with pork. The burrito was flavorful and the fresh conchas can't be beat. Highly recommend that you give them a try, even if it's out of the way for you, make the trip.

Tom Nault: This is an outstanding bakery if you want the real deal and not some mix. I've gone there three times and each time it's been fantastic. I wish there was more variety, but outside of that, this is a real bakery done right. There is a difference in the taste when a bakery makes things without taking shortcuts.Springfield in general has very low food standards. Other bakeries get high marks locally and they don't come even close to the quality of Supreme Kringle. Whoever runs the place, I just want you to know that I appreciate the care in what you make. I can taste it. I would prefer if you didn't put sprinkles on your frosted donuts, but that's just me. It detracts from the flavor of your dough.This is a place that sells out and I can see why. People who know good bakery know where to go. For those of you who are young, this is the type of bakery we grew up with where they were up super early in the morning to make this stuff fresh. These bakers were highly respected in the community for the artisans that they are. I can't say enough good things about this place and I plan to be back in the morning.

Paige: Rude staff. If you want bakery foods I recommend Star Cakes, Hy-Vee or anywhere else really. At least you will be met with a smile. The staff was rude and acted like we were bothering them. Unfortunately I decided to go for the first time on my daughters birthday so she wasn’t met with any nice words either. Will not return or give them business ever again.

Whenever I'm in town I always come here! Had the iced vanilla latte with oatmilk (best I had in town), along with a couple of macaroons. My companions had the apple strudel and fererro Roche cake.

I decided to stop in and try it some of the biscuit and gravy as pleasantly surprised how fluffy the biscuit was and tasty the gravy was. Decided to take home with some apple turnovers to the wife and she loved them she's been there once or twice since then a little bit on the expensive side but well worth it.

This place actual offers legit KETO options. They have an actual Keto menu to look at with all the macros needed to track for Keto. A bunch of different varieties as well. Other places usually only have 3 or 4 options. This place has wayyyyyyy more and taste phenomenal!! Makes being on Keto so much more enjoyable and the sweet lady named Lilly that helped me today made my experience even better by how sweet and helpful she was. Will definitely be returning for their delicious and well priced food. They offer regular food as well. All their food looks so amazing.

Not only did Star Cakes respond, but they went above and beyond to make sure that the cake, the delivery, and EVERY detail was perfect. The cake was beautiful and delicious! NaCole Shortt: Unfortunately this company is ignoring my request for a full refund for a Wedding Cake that was delivered 4 hours late Nov 12, 2022. They said they had the wrong date. The cake was not what the Bride ordered. I understand things happen, but in a case where the business neglected to provide the Cake their customer purchased and 4 hours late? That’s just unacceptable. They issued half refund, but that’s just not good enough. A full refund should have been issued to the Bride and Groom. They had guest waiting for 3 hours for cake! All other activities were done. Pictures, Dance, Toast…. This was at no fault of their own and should not have paid a dime for the cake! I was really hoping the Manager would make it right. But so far that is not the case. We were all so disappointed that night and tried to make light of it. But this is not ok. You messed up. Please make it right with your client.

Phillip Tillotson: I called this company to see if they could make a cake for my wife's 30th birthday. I was concerned that they couldnt because it was 4 days out. They said it would be no problem because they are slow. All I had to do was submit a form online so i did that. They never called me back. Each time I followed up they told me not to worry and that they'd contact me soon. Day before my wife's birthday I call again and they tell me they are booked, can't do it, and require 7 day notice. Not the greatest experience.....

It was honestly my first time ever ordering a cake and I was very nervous, unfortunately I was ordering it for the next week and that was definitely way too soon. Though they originally were going to say no due to their high workload (completely understandable, and what i had expected!), they ended up working with me and got my order in as it was a super simple cake I had requested. I was surprised but sooo thankful. When I came to pick it up the man there was incredibly kind, we chatted for a bit before i had to leave. She said she could no longer do the design that was ordered. The end result was a design printed on inedible paper placed on the top of the cookie. I have been coming here since we discovered they carried gluten free cakes, they are awesome.I have purchased many cakes from here because my wife can't have gluten, and these cakes are unrivaled. I drive over an hour to come here. That being said, my wife enjoys a little extra icing, so do I.Every time I have asked for extra, and offered to pay, the team has always figured out a way to make this happen. That is until this Friday, where I had a horrible run in with an employee wielding terrible customer service. She refused to let me purchase a little extra icing. I bought 4 cakes by the way, 2 of which had less icing than normal.She turned me away, a customer who was willing to pay extra for something they have readily available. She said there wasn't a way to do it. So I explained how it was done all the times before, and she shook her head at me like I was asking for taco sauce.Maybe she was having a bad day, or maybe she was upset because I attempted to help her understand how it was done before.As I was leaving, disgruntled, holding a 20 in my hand, she said "sorry," only it wasn't a sorry, it was a "Bu-Bye."I said "No, you aren't, if you were you'd help me out."I've spent over 500 dollars here. I doubt I'll be spending any more unless the customer service figures out how to put the customer first."I wasn't asking for anything crazy people, come on? I have spoken with many of the workers, and all of them have been very nice. Until now.I don't want her to lose her job, I just want to be able to not feel like poop walking back to my car having to tell my wife I can't buy extra icing, she won't let me.

Jennifer Creed: Not only are their cakes absolutely wonderful, but their customer service is impeccable. I screwed up and put the wrong date on my order, so it wasn't ready when I went to pick it up. It took them less than 5 minutes to make my order for me and and they were insanely friendly and happy to do so! Beyond appreciative of them!
