Darrell Harris: My foreign car was having lots of issues, So I took it to another shop for a car diagnostic test. I was told both batteries were fine, but it might possibly need a new alternator or have some wiring issues which could have been in the thousands (the alternator alone was $1200.00 at that shop). Import Car Service did a car diagnostic test and told me ALL it needed was a battery. They replaced the main battery and now the car is running perfectly. Its so nice to have a car I can depend on again. I highly recommend them.Service:Auto maintenance
JDM CHICK: Expensive
Analissa Wolf: Quoted $850 to do something that I got done same day somewhere else for $350! And while diagnosing the vehicle they continuously revved the vehicle for atleast a half hour. Then gave me a code for o2 sensors from a check engine light, and to change my valve covers. Also extremely unprofessional cussing loudly to where it could easily be heard from the waiting room. Then they charged me $90 diagnostic, $8 supply, and $3 in hazmat when all they did was check engine light code reading.

Gabriel Laub: They lied about my inspection. Clearly they though I didn't know my stuff. They said my bottem controll arm bushings were bad, when they were completely fine. So that was a complete lie. And then said my power steering pump was leaking. Even though there has never been and is still not a single drop coming from it. All in all. I would not recommend this one. They are not honest and go after people that don't know enough about vehicles

Offered to fix it for over $500.Sounded suspect, so I took it to a mechanic I trust in Webster County. The trusted mechanic checked my truck from bumper to bumper and didn't find a single thing wrong with it.J&S Automotive, as far as I can tell, abuses their inspection authority to try to fix things that aren't broken and run up an unnecessary bill.If I could leave a zero-star review, I would.Don't let these crooks do anything to your vehicle.

Everything is up front--you get a quote on the services, and you can sign off on only the ones you want. Dalek Nation: BEWARE!!! Nicest guys you'll ever meet... sure they'll charge you $200 labor to set a $60 battery in an old truck, but they're super nice and professional about it. EDIT: in all they charged $600 for a battery and oil change. Gave me a $1600 list of repairs needed for inspection; OVER HALF OF THE THINGS we're not needed (nothing wrong with tail lights is one example). SHADY!! 2ND EDIT: '92 Ford Ranger. Yes, I was there. Want me to elaborate? You wanted $1600 for inspection. $300 for a tire that past inspection elsewhere. $200 for taillights, which were 100% fine. I mean, the list you gave me was laughed at by next place I took it to. Call you to talk about it? No, I'm never giving another moment of time to you (seriously though, you have no record of me using your business? Nice try. Get a lot of '92 Ford Rangers in a week?)

Brynn Baker: I have been to a couple different shops that had been telling me different things about my car so I was really frustrated not knowing who or what to believe. I sent a message online to Rick's automotive and by end of day the GM took the time to call me and really listened to me . He set me an appointment to have my tahoe lifted and thoroughly looked over. When I arrived the next day he came out to meet me and let me know there would be no charge and that he was sorry for what I had been through. I was given detailed information over the issues with my truck and also took the time to talk to me over the things most important to fix right away and exactly what would be done. Cal Meeds: Took my. Grandson’s 2015 Chevy Malibu to Ricks after having it at another shop three different times in a two week time with the problems not being fixed or diagnosed properly. After some research and checking reviews I chose Rick’s Automotive to take the car to, took it in on a Tuesday and was initially told it would be the following Monday before anyone could look at it. However I received a call the very next day letting me know that they had got it in and found some engine issues that needed to be addressed so I authorized the repairs and they were completed by the next afternoon on Thursday. I picked up the car and drove it 40 miles back home and it started acting up again and completely firing in traffic as before. I had the car towed back to Ricks that same night, I received a call from Rick’s by 7:30 the next morning and we discussed the issues and they assured me they would take another look at the problem. I received a call by 3:00 from the General Manager who explained that the mechanic had missed a vacuum leak that was causing the engine problems. He greatly apologized for their mistake and oversight of this issue and assured me there would be no charge for the repair and went into great detail as to what was causing my engine failure problems. When asked if he would reimburse my towing bill he assured me he would make things right with me on that. I can’t say enough good words about this shop and their professionalism and how they admitted to their mistake and corrected it with no charge to me. William B.: There was paint thinner spilled on the hood. Tim kept saying it was there all along. No way, I hand polish the car all the time. Also, something punctured the hood while it was there. I had a new engine installed in my 2012 Camaro SS. $12,000. Some damage was done to the hood while in the shop. They kind of questioned it but took responsibility and I brought it back to be repaired. I had to bring it back in after I picked it up. They were hoping I wouldn't notice and would drive off. Don't trust them to bring you nice car there!

kryssy hayay: Had an appointment to come in when they opened. I was told that they open at 8 am. I got to the shop 5 min until 8. So I waited for them to open. At 840 am the first mechanic showed up and looked at me said "Who are you & What you want?" I told him I had an appointment at 8 and he mumbled something under his breath and unlocked the door, walked in, slammed it shut & locked it back. Needlessly to say, I left. Went next door to the shop just to the west of this place (on the same side of the street), and my truck was taken care right then. Without an appointment too.

Lila Haines: Very very rude! I called to set up an appointment to get my SUV fixed. I was to call them thru the people I bought my car through. Didn't even get the mans name who answered. Don't care to even know it. I told him I was told to call him and tell him what was wrong with my SUV and set up an appointment. He cut me off half way through my senetence and said I don't need to know what's wrong with it I cant fix it over the phone. I let that comment pass thought maybe he was having a bad day.... Well after that I said well I need to set up an appointment then. He said when can you bring it in. I started to tell him it won't run so I can't bring it to him and that the place I brought it from was going to set up a tow when she talked to him. Well AGAIN I was cut off in the middle of my sentence. He was like well I cant bring my tools to you...and I am not your secretary on setting up a tow. At this point I was DONE! I told him to stop being mean to me I had done nothing wrong I was just doing what the car lot had told me to do. He fumbled all over himself no no im not being mean. I said yes you are and I do Not deserve this. The he said well I have 6 people standing here and you just randomly call me.... Well yes I called to set up an appointment to get my SUV fixed. I then told him I was done being talked to like dumb trash and hung up on him. Most un-professional man I have ever spoken to. Way to run a business Sir! Will not get my business or that of anyone I know!

Rondo Brœncho: At 115,000 miles I went to get my timing belt changed. A month after spending over $1,000.00 for this I took it back for the head gasket leaking antifreeze. I figured they did such a great job changing the timing it pushed antifreeze out through the seals. Paid over a grand again for that and maybe a radiator. My car had the same engine knocking ever since, figured it was the pistons. Just paid a good ol boy $700.00 for a timing belt and pump change with 189,600. That guy told me I had it looked like I had original parts on the timing belt and tensioner. For this reason, I cannot recommend this company.
