Forest Park Hotel: what do users think?
Terri Lambert: DOES NOT deserve even one star. This was the worst hotel. Don’t expect clean rooms, bath linens, hair dryers, a TV remote or ice machine that works or courteous night staff. The room was dirty. The girl on night shift was rude and unhelpful. We booked a room for 4 adults for 2 nights. We had 2 towels and 1 washcloth. When we asked for more we were told housekeeping didn’t work that day so we couldn’t get more. She sent my sister with a room key to a different room to look for more towels and washcloths. She found one each. The next day we were brought 4 more towels but no washcloths. Please do not stay here. Don’t waste your money.
Kirk Johnson: On 4/14/23 I visit with my 93 year old grandma in my disabled mother the room coo didn’t lock the sink water don’t drain in the toilet have a leak til water all on the floor we used towels in to top it off I was a mouse in the room 😡😡👎🏾the room number was 111. To where I slept in my car In they don’t want to refund me my money back the picture don’t match the place they showing up it been 2 weeks never go there
John Briones: Woke up to cockroaches in the shower and on the night stand!!! Was told i would receive full refund and they refused to give me my money back!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Mark Miles: Ran down, not clean, front door was broken, no heat in lobby area, room was mostly clean.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Elizabeth Nelson: I booked on booking .com and got over charged There was no microwave in the room and NO HOT WATER and it was a horrible draft coming I'm from the patio doorRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
mike otelli RC: Worst hotel you can ever stay at.. and hotel staff works together to steal your vehicle...
Gabby Penaflor: Fist room had bugs in bathroom and second wasn't clean with used towels and confetti on the floor. Staff was so accommodating with helping us find a clean room, giving us a choice of three. All three were okay. A bit overpriced for the quality of rooms and hotel. Probably won't stay here again, but okay in a hurry.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Didan Nikola: Maybe it used to be a good hotel, the rooms are neglected and the bed linen is dirtyRooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Big My: Best Hotel They Very Understanding . I Got Kicked Out And Forest Park Hotel Helped ‘ Me With Everything They Could . Amazing Staff !!! I Will Come BackRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Derek Wyatt: The room had gnats everywhereRooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
cory edinger: Run down old Holiday Inn with OUTDATED PICTURES. Fencing is falling down around it, Pool is closed and run down, paint flaking off the building. Staff were pleasant enough. Rooms were mostly clean, like a bed bug but not catch Hepatitis kind of clean. The Elevator feels like it’s failing apart, because of this I also found out the 7th floor stairway smells like someone pee’d all over it. Over charged and over payed to stay here. Go next door!
Danielle Harper: I booked over the phone for two connecting rooms as we have a large family with young children. They were one of the only hotels in the area that was able to guarantee that our rooms would be conjoined in advance which was amazing. The service when we arrived was also great. The rooms were more run down than I would have liked, there was no breakfast like advertised and one of our rooms smelled like someone had smoked weed in it moments prior to our arrival. Even though it is legal I have small children and didn't want them sleeping in a room that smelled so heavily of weed. It was too late to find anything else so we decided to let the room air out which took several hours. The front desk brought up a room spray and discounted our rates.I am thankful for the service we received but it's probably not a location we would stay at again.
RonAnnette Stone: Toilet leaked, no refrigerator in room, floor had not been vacuumed.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Mary Brady: DO NOT GO HERE THEY HAVE A SETUP TO STEAL VECHILES AND DO NOT HAVE CAMERAS PLUS HAVE SECURITY THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST RED FLAG BUT NONE THE LESS THE POLICE DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Bryan Norris: Dump. Sleep in your car. More comfortable and no cigarette ash on you feet, unless you smoke. If so you'll be right at home.
Patrick Forseth: JUST DONT!!After telling the person at the front desk that I was going leave a negative review, the manager on duty Rachel came barging out of the office and began to angrily kick out myself and my 9 & 10 yr old kids (I’m disabled and my daughter has special needs (also relayed to hotel staff)) without knowing anything going on.Apparently, you are not allowed to say that you will share your experience without getting yelled at. We luckily talked Rachel down and thought we helped her understand that she could’ve talked to me about it and tried to help (as a qualified manager should). Then, as I was walking back down to move my truck from the doors, I heard her, the original desk associate, and the security guard absolutely roasting me and loud. I started recording as she said she was going to “bash my head into the granite”. I turned the corner and asked her if I heard that right and she yelled at me “I just might!”, and chewed me out for minutes (pics of her rampage included). I wish I could post that video on here. When I said that I intended to speak with the manager in am, Rachel then threatened to kick us out again (at 10pm in a bad part of St Louis)!!! I’m not saying that I’m 100% in the right, but this was just shocking and 100% unacceptable! Folks, this is what $200+ per night will get you at Forest Park Hotel. Don’t try to talk to manager Ben. The girls are adamant “he has their back always”.PS - They don’t have the A/C on when you book a room, so it’s 95 degrees in your room when you check in at 9pm and want to sleep.
Fred Rix: This is no longer a Holiday Inn and it's pretty run down for the price.

Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis/Forest Park: what do users think?
Kelsi Wright: I walked in to the queen suite and it was filthy!! I asked for a new room and it wasn't much better!! Floors still needed vacuumed, I had to wipe everything down because housekeeping didn't! The drawers are broken and won't stay shut. Beds are so uncomfortable!! We definitely won't be back! For almost $200/night it's not worth it!Room 328!!!
Sarah Appenheimer: Very great place to stay and very awesome peopleRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Gladys Witcher: Rooms: Everything was nice and very clean..Nearby activities: Good sight seeingSafety: Yes peace and quiet..Food & drinks: Awesome
Susie Jacques: It was close to the hospital and the complimentary breakfast was good every morning. If you are staying longer and you expect to get cheaper rates as the hospital suggests then you will NOT get it. We were here 13 nights and the rate stayed the same. No other discounts as other hotels do the longer you stay. They said you had to stay a month before you gets cheaper. Wished I asked when checking in.
Shawntee Stuller: Despite the half mil renovation, the atmosphere is relatively decent. If you don't mind being in the middle of downtown, close to a hospital and surrounded by potential burglary with a touch of ghetto life then this is the place for you! Not to mention the breakfast staff that persists on walking around loudly on their phone most morning while serving customers. The guests are rude most days, completely oblivious to the fact of SIX garbage cans near them and yet nobody can throw their trash away... be prepared to find dirty plates hiding in the craziest spots not to mention some of the plates have stains on them.If you wait for the breakfast rush to die down, you may encounter a sticky mess over by the waffle makers and juice because it's just so much fun to not carefully pour the waffle mix and make a giant mess that nobody (customers mainly) clean up because they expect maid service during their stay.By no means is this hotel quiet, most nights children are allowed to run amuck through the hallways, use the weight room and hang out in big groups in the lobby. So if you are on the lower level, you may not get sleep.Their security officer is a joke, either one can't be found or is asleep somewhere in the parking lot so make double sure you LOCK your vehicle!! Otherwise a potential breakin of your vehicle could happen, it is St. Louis after all.If none of this bothers you. It's a beautifully redone location that still requires some major work on the immediate inside.
Antonette Palmer: Great location price and a lovely place to stay!!!
Aimée Everett: This hotel has a cleanliness issue. I mean it is DIRTY. The lobby bathroom, no toilet paper, paper towels, or soap. We had to change rooms due to the room smelling of cigarette smoke, toilet was dirty, no room phone, fingernails on the floor, dirty bed, broken lamp, dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, dirty hallway. Changed rooms…. But this room…bed smelled like urine ( couldn’t sleep through night), bed uncomfortable even without the smell, bathtub dirty, kitchen sink had white substance all over it and the backsplash…. Do not stay here. Not worth the price.Front Desk was kind, but hotel has a layer a filth that has to be cleaned.
Jessie Spencer: I have some love/hate feelings about this hotel. It's an excellent location, the layout of the room was perfect for our family, and we really enjoyed their breakfast. All of that being said, I wouldn't stay here again. The biggest reason is that it wasn't very clean - there were chunks of cheese stuck in the vents of our a/c unit, several of the dishes in the kitchen had dried food stuck in them, and the pool towels had stains. There were also some comfort issues - the electric blinds wouldn't go down and the maintenance man wasn't available to fix them until the next day, the pillows were flat and hard and had a zipper on one end, there wasn't a single hook in the bathroom, the only way to get a spoon at breakfast was to take an entire package of plastic silverware, and the pool was frigidly cold. Needless to say, we'll be finding somewhere else to stay on future trips.
Jimm G: Pretty pricey, but in a gentrified section of town, so it’s worth it. Felt very safe and it still got that new hotel smell.
Brittany Evans: The location was close to everything I needed, the rooms were nice, clean and well kept and the hotel staff was friendly. It was also the BEST complimentary breakfast I have experiencedRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Barbara Elyea: Staff was great, bed pillows were amazing … I always hate my hotel pillows, these were the best ever! Side note, I think it’s weird they don’t decorate the hotel hardly at all … every wall in the place is bare. Not sure what’s worse tho horrible Hampton Inn framed photos everywhere or empty walls… 😊Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NStyle LLC: My experience here was the complete opposite of a typical Hilton stay. We cut our stay short. The site and SOME staff are sketchy. I felt unsafe at this hotel, as I was approached by a man as I attempted to enter my room, then a staff member entered my room unannounced while we were dressing, and then the same man that followed me sat in the hallway on the floor DIRECTLY in front of my door. I'm not sure of his intent, but he was determined to be present when my room door was opened. My mother and I expressed our concerns to the manager whom offered points and and to remove the charge for the night that we would not be staying. The supervisor lied to management about me coming to the front desk because my key would not allow me into my room. She stated to the manager that she did not make a key for anyone and no one came to the front desk. I gave the manager my key to review the activity and encouraged him to review the cameras, none of which occurred. Upon my departure, the man mentioned above sat at the computer. It was confirmed that he was not a guest and that there was a previous encounter with him attempting harm to a staff member. Management continued to do nothing. My fear is for future guests who aren't as aware of their surroundings, or a child. I encourage Hilton to take action.
shawn BROWN: Hotel staff short and rude. Bed should be out of commission. Flipping terrible experience and I’ve stayed at a lot of home2suites
Anthony Clouse: Very nice. Nice people too.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Jon Pitman: Everything we expected. The rooms, service, and breakfast was great. The location was a little sketchy, but other than that... A+Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
