Holiday Inn St Louis SW - Route 66, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
CM D: Very clean and quiet hotel. While we were there, the building was under a bit of construction but it didn't really bother us. Staff were all super friendly. They are pet friendly which we loved.Very near a lot of shopping, restaurants, office park, and expressways. It was nice staying a little further outside the downtown area which is where we normally stay. We would return.Rooms: Clean and comfortable. I believe we were in a newly remodeled room and it was very modern with light coloring and no carpet. Loved that there was no carpet. Better for our pet and just felt cleaner.Safety: Felt like a very safe area of the city. It neighbors an office park and lots of shopping.
Jaylene Arnett: Obnoxious drunks at pool very late and staff did nothing.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Mark Dunlap: This hotel has the best staff I've encountered while traveling in past 50 yrs.Rooms: Were clean and neat.Noteworthy details: The front staff make sure u have anything u need for your comfort. Like a personal concierge.
Levi Nordmeyer: Very friendly staff, only negative thing about our stay is all the construction going onRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mark Strain: We recently stayed at this location and it reminded me of a book that I recently read, Unreasonable Hospitality. The hotel is obviously going through some updates and there is some noise and mess due to the construction, but the staff and management went out of the way to make sure we were accommodated during our stay. The breakfast place, Wakey Wakey, was really good and the service was great. Such a surprise as an option for breakfast compared to the other hotels in the area! The place has a new bar area that looks like its going to be great too! They provided extra towels for the kids to use at the AWESOME new pool area. The new fitness center was great for me to sneak away for an hour to lift and clear my head. The place has a new bar area that looks like its going to be great.I know that next time we need to stay somewhere in the St. Louis area, it will be here!!
Tracy Stamper: This hotel is wonderful! Location is key! Close to EVERYTHING in the STL area. Best steakhouse in town just right next door, beautiful fitness center, amazing pool (wish I was coming here more this summer), the staff is unbelievable always there with anything you might need! Yes the hotel is under construction (you may have to walk an extra 10 feet) but it's not a nuisance especially since I'm really not in my room throughout the day as I'm exploring the city. The rooms are clean, bathroom is clean. There are several floors that are under construction and others that are not but don't be fooled the ones that are not are still clean & comfy!Rooms: Clean, comfy, spaciousNearby activities: Most things in STL are within 15-20 minutes of driving. Going to the Cardinals game, stay in this safe area with tons of restaurants nearby.Safety: Safe areaFood & drinks: Twisted Tree Steakhouse is right next door which also offers a delicious breakfast at Wakey Wakey - DON'T SLEEP ON THIS, it's absolutely delicious!Noteworthy details: The courtyard area is fantastic, if you have nice weather during your trip bring your swimsuit!!
Jago Sevetar: Most beautiful room I've ever bought for less than 120. Oddly bad bathroom fixtures. Loose faucets and un-covered fill holes in the tub. Very comfortable, felt kind of like a veneer over some very shoddy construction. Perfect A/C and bedding, just seemed badly put together
Amy Martin: We had wonderful staff at the convention. Anger portion of the hotel. We will for sure be back.
Will F: Heads up...Under Construction. Front desk staff were friendly, clean room, very nice & new pool area and the fitness center is excellent.
Cory Smith: Very disappointed in our overall experience, and would not recommend to anyone. Our reservation was clearly for 2 queen beds and initially they seated us in a single king. Spoke with front desk and they said they gave away our room and there were no other queen bed rooms available and we could not cancel without charge. I asked to speak with a manager and they somehow found us a room with queen beds. We got locked out of our room once during our stay and had to reactivate our keycards. The hotel is also under a remodel, which resulted in limited parking.
Tyler Peterson: After finding out they hadn't received the company card (travel company used the info posted when they sent it), was made to wait for an hour at the front desk. I travel 90% for my job, and while there are issues sometimes with the hotels receiving payment info, I've never been forced to wait at the front desk more then 5-10 minutes. If it ever comes to that, I've always been given a room while the company and hotel hash out the details. Extremely frustrating when you have been traveling all day , then get forced to wait for no reason. And the cherry on top was even after the whole ordeal, they still charged my personal card instead of the company card, even though I specifically asked them to make sure it did not go on mine. Well never be going back to this exact hotel.
Terry Hudgens: They are working on the inside and outsideIt will be real nice when completedLocation: 5/5 …More
Nikki Lynn Konert: Beautiful new updates. Great staff.
Silas M: Some of the most comfortable beds that we've slept on. Even had us wondering the brand lol. Very friendly staff, nice rooms, and despite remodeling/ construction taking place we had a nice and quiet stay. Family friendly and dog friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Josh Davis: If you’re looking for the included hotel breakfast; you’ve come to the wrong place.
Jason LiCavoli: We love the new renovations so far! Such cool Route 66 decor!!!The pool area looks amazing (can't wait for summer) and the gym area is definitely next-level!!!The restaurant next door is amazing... Twisted Tree.Noteworthy details: Cool decor and great location near hwy 44.
Robert Vilmure: They are doing a lot of renovating. It would be unfair to rate them them overall. But the service was great. Rooms were clean and nice.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brad Lauth: Under construction but making huge improvementsRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Anita Kissinger: Great location! Very clean, updated, quiet, secure, and provided everything we needed. Appreciated the well-stocked amenities. We stayed a week so having a nice washer/dryer in the unit was very helpful. Better than a hotel and price is comparable. We will be back!Noteworthy details: KASA provides plenty of towels, soap, washing supplies, Kleenex, etc. So nice to not have to buy these things and/or ask for more! Having a separate bedroom and living area is much better than a hotel room, and having the in-unit washer and dryer is wonderful!

Russomanno Anthony: We were very happy with the apartment. Great, safe-feeling location walkable to Forest Park and many cafes and restaurants and an easy drive to downtown attractions like the Arch. A Whole Foods in the building was great to have, too. The room worked well for our family of four (we brought a blow up for one kid) and was comfy and had what we needed. We’d definitely stay again.
Holly Martin: Rooms: The rooms were so spacious and the apartment was so nice and clean. We loved our stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Z S: Lovely apartment, well appointed, wonderful locationNearby activities: Forest Park is a short walk away and the Del Mar Loop is a short drive. Plenty of activities for the whole family.Safety: Secure entry into main lobby and separate secure entry into the elevator lobby. On site 24 hour concierge/lobby security.Walkability: Everything you could want to do from restaurants, bookstores, to the parks, to museums are all within walking distance.Food & drinks: Adjacent to a Whole Foods and in the center of all the restaurants and offerings of the Central West End.
Gary Jackson: Very responsive, professional, and respectful Kasa Staff. Fantastic location. We will definitely be back a few times every year.
Susan Alper: We had an exceptional, two-week stay at the Kasa in Central West End in St. Louis. The one bedroom unit was very well equipped for an extended stay. The bedroom had a large, well-lighted closet with some shelves and a king size bed with several decent pillows. The kitchen included everything from useful cooking utensils, sharp knives, cutting boards, dishes, glasses, pots, pans, toaster, a one-cup Keurig, washer and dryer. We were there over Christmas and New Year's so being above the Whole Foods during extremely cold weather (-5 to low teens for a few days) was convenient. The online concierge team is responsive and helpful. The people who cover the 24/7 front desk for the apartment building are personable and also willing to provide directions. The units are not lavishly furnished, yet the convenience of staying in a conveniently located apartment with a completely outfitted kitchen totally suited our needs. It's located within walking distance of the main Barnes Hospital complex - if that's helpful to anyone who needs to be close by. Wash U. and SLU are also close by.
Russell Sharp: Check in was easy, apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Check out was also very easy. Overall a good experience.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Cooper Johnson: We stayed in Kasa Central West End in order to visit family and be within walking distant of many things we needed! Location was great, close to good coffee shops and the Whole Foods grocery which was so convenient. The in room laundry was a plus. We will definitely be staying here again! Diana Darcy: Spacious, clean, and comfortable place with the perfect location in St. Louis -- likely the best location in the Central West End, convenient to restaurants, shopping, Forest Park, and WashU Med school. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kevin Stewart: We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Very convenient to the Children’s Hospital, Forest Park, the Basilica and adjacent to Whole Foods. The unit was very up to date and very clean. We felt very safe during our week long stay. Would definitely book this again!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ingrid Alvarado: Excelente el lugar muy limpio y con facilidades excelentes… muy recomendado
Paula Oldeg: Great location. Perfect for family recovering after surgery. One bedroom king on the 7th floor. Sofa bed in the living room. Close to everything- coffee shops, restaurants and whole foods! Unit was clean, comfortable and had a well-stocked kitchen. You need the parking remote to get in, and out of the assigned spot, just FYI. Recommended.
Bradley Michael: The only complaint was getting in the Parking Garage because of the Gate on Level 2Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Nish Nadkarni: Great location. Clean. Easy access to the apt unit and gated parking spot.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

JZ Vacation Rentals: what do users think?
Christine Bierma: What a perfect house! It was exactly as advertised and was home base for one of the most wonderful weekends of our lives! Everyone fit comfortably from the amazing 15 person dining room table to the lavish bedrooms and incredible 5 bathrooms! Front to back, top to bottom this house was amazing!
Sorvana: Great property! Clean, comfortable, and a great location.
Darcy Souza: The property was in a perfect location. Very clean and comfortable. The parking in the back was a big plus!
Julie Sandberg: Such a beautiful house in a great location! Only one minor issue of needing a new tv due to sound going out. Would definitely stay here again.
Sam Gowda: Nice house in a great area, enjoyed our stay!
Samona Lester: Home was beautifully decorated and updated. Super close to main attractions in St. Louis and felt safe. Loved that it was pet friendly as it allowed us to bring an aging dog with special needs to enjoy a vacation with our kids.
Joan Erickson: Great location, great environment, property as was shown in the pictures, responsive hosts, had a wonderful stay on Botanical Avenue!
Kathleen Dawson: We loved the house it was beautiful inside and out loved being right on the lake
Myron Russell: Great townhome in an amazing location. Walking distance to restaurants. The townhome was very comfortable and accommodated all of my needs.
F Wilf: Very nice property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cathie Fromme: This was a great place to stay and within walking distance of several places for dining. It had plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate us. The only downside would be the steps to get to the upper floors for someone who has limited abilities, however this was not an issue for us. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard and parking in the back off the street.
Laura Romero: Excellent! Thanks
Walter and Madeleine Korfmacher: We stayed at the Shaw house in St Louis for a week for a family reunion. Everything about the house and neighborhood was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the room temperature easily controlled, the parking was perfect and easy, backyard porch nice place to sit. Everything was within 15 minutes of the house and the neighborhood was beautiful place to walk. Shaw botanical gardens was actually walkable. I can completely recommend this vacation home without any reservations for a perfect place to stay in St Louis.
Michelle McAndrew: Condo was perfect for our family of four. Great lakefront location within community, located near outdoor pool. The only way it could be better is if it had laundry in the unit or on site somewhere.
Brad Lamb: We enjoyed our stay, very clean house, back yard area was great to have with the kids. Close o everything we wanted to see within 20 minutes.
Jamie Marley: The house was great. It took me a minute and figure out the Kuerig and parking, haha. Other than that. Beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space for family time when we weren’t out and about. We felt safe. We will recommend to others!
Alissa Ujie Diamond: Great spot, nice clean unit, easy proximity to all the things!
Tamera Sweeton: We enjoyed our stay at The Cherry House🍒 It was charming, impeccably clean, and has heavenly beds. The management was very helpful and responsive to a couple of questions we had. It is conveniently located near INTERSTATE 70 & HWY 47.
Trystal Harvell: We really enjoyed our spring break week. This rental was so convenient to everything. It’s easy to navigate to and from. It was very clean, beds were amazing to sleep in and everything was just as we hoped. We will definitely rent this property again in the future!!
Lori Reily: STOLEN SECURITY DEPOSITOur daughter rented a home with three other girls from JZ Rentals for a year and a half while attending college in Saint Louis. It was a nice home and they had no problems with management or maintenance during their stay. However, when they moved out, JZ kept OVER HALF of their security deposit. They sent a list of reasons, and they all were routine maintenance items - such as painting, light bulbs, and smoke alarms. There was zero damage to the home. Our daughter sent a letter to the management, to no avail. Now we are forced to turn to Small Claims Court. I guess they figured they could take advantage of college students.Would have given zero stars, but it was a nice place and they had no problems until JZ stole their security deposit.I've added a photo.2253 Indiana Avenue? Are we talking about the same property?Holes, dents, red dye? That's not correct.
Rick Lambert: Small issue was dealt with immediately. House was great for a family vacation, located minutes from downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis/Forest Park: what do users think?
Kelsi Wright: I walked in to the queen suite and it was filthy!! I asked for a new room and it wasn't much better!! Floors still needed vacuumed, I had to wipe everything down because housekeeping didn't! The drawers are broken and won't stay shut. Beds are so uncomfortable!! We definitely won't be back! For almost $200/night it's not worth it!Room 328!!!
Sarah Appenheimer: Very great place to stay and very awesome peopleRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Gladys Witcher: Rooms: Everything was nice and very clean..Nearby activities: Good sight seeingSafety: Yes peace and quiet..Food & drinks: Awesome
Susie Jacques: It was close to the hospital and the complimentary breakfast was good every morning. If you are staying longer and you expect to get cheaper rates as the hospital suggests then you will NOT get it. We were here 13 nights and the rate stayed the same. No other discounts as other hotels do the longer you stay. They said you had to stay a month before you gets cheaper. Wished I asked when checking in.
Shawntee Stuller: Despite the half mil renovation, the atmosphere is relatively decent. If you don't mind being in the middle of downtown, close to a hospital and surrounded by potential burglary with a touch of ghetto life then this is the place for you! Not to mention the breakfast staff that persists on walking around loudly on their phone most morning while serving customers. The guests are rude most days, completely oblivious to the fact of SIX garbage cans near them and yet nobody can throw their trash away... be prepared to find dirty plates hiding in the craziest spots not to mention some of the plates have stains on them.If you wait for the breakfast rush to die down, you may encounter a sticky mess over by the waffle makers and juice because it's just so much fun to not carefully pour the waffle mix and make a giant mess that nobody (customers mainly) clean up because they expect maid service during their stay.By no means is this hotel quiet, most nights children are allowed to run amuck through the hallways, use the weight room and hang out in big groups in the lobby. So if you are on the lower level, you may not get sleep.Their security officer is a joke, either one can't be found or is asleep somewhere in the parking lot so make double sure you LOCK your vehicle!! Otherwise a potential breakin of your vehicle could happen, it is St. Louis after all.If none of this bothers you. It's a beautifully redone location that still requires some major work on the immediate inside.
Antonette Palmer: Great location price and a lovely place to stay!!!
Aimée Everett: This hotel has a cleanliness issue. I mean it is DIRTY. The lobby bathroom, no toilet paper, paper towels, or soap. We had to change rooms due to the room smelling of cigarette smoke, toilet was dirty, no room phone, fingernails on the floor, dirty bed, broken lamp, dirty bathroom, dirty kitchen, dirty hallway. Changed rooms…. But this room…bed smelled like urine ( couldn’t sleep through night), bed uncomfortable even without the smell, bathtub dirty, kitchen sink had white substance all over it and the backsplash…. Do not stay here. Not worth the price.Front Desk was kind, but hotel has a layer a filth that has to be cleaned.
Jessie Spencer: I have some love/hate feelings about this hotel. It's an excellent location, the layout of the room was perfect for our family, and we really enjoyed their breakfast. All of that being said, I wouldn't stay here again. The biggest reason is that it wasn't very clean - there were chunks of cheese stuck in the vents of our a/c unit, several of the dishes in the kitchen had dried food stuck in them, and the pool towels had stains. There were also some comfort issues - the electric blinds wouldn't go down and the maintenance man wasn't available to fix them until the next day, the pillows were flat and hard and had a zipper on one end, there wasn't a single hook in the bathroom, the only way to get a spoon at breakfast was to take an entire package of plastic silverware, and the pool was frigidly cold. Needless to say, we'll be finding somewhere else to stay on future trips.
Jimm G: Pretty pricey, but in a gentrified section of town, so it’s worth it. Felt very safe and it still got that new hotel smell.
Brittany Evans: The location was close to everything I needed, the rooms were nice, clean and well kept and the hotel staff was friendly. It was also the BEST complimentary breakfast I have experiencedRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Barbara Elyea: Staff was great, bed pillows were amazing … I always hate my hotel pillows, these were the best ever! Side note, I think it’s weird they don’t decorate the hotel hardly at all … every wall in the place is bare. Not sure what’s worse tho horrible Hampton Inn framed photos everywhere or empty walls… 😊Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NStyle LLC: My experience here was the complete opposite of a typical Hilton stay. We cut our stay short. The site and SOME staff are sketchy. I felt unsafe at this hotel, as I was approached by a man as I attempted to enter my room, then a staff member entered my room unannounced while we were dressing, and then the same man that followed me sat in the hallway on the floor DIRECTLY in front of my door. I'm not sure of his intent, but he was determined to be present when my room door was opened. My mother and I expressed our concerns to the manager whom offered points and and to remove the charge for the night that we would not be staying. The supervisor lied to management about me coming to the front desk because my key would not allow me into my room. She stated to the manager that she did not make a key for anyone and no one came to the front desk. I gave the manager my key to review the activity and encouraged him to review the cameras, none of which occurred. Upon my departure, the man mentioned above sat at the computer. It was confirmed that he was not a guest and that there was a previous encounter with him attempting harm to a staff member. Management continued to do nothing. My fear is for future guests who aren't as aware of their surroundings, or a child. I encourage Hilton to take action.
shawn BROWN: Hotel staff short and rude. Bed should be out of commission. Flipping terrible experience and I’ve stayed at a lot of home2suites

Gwendolyn Elder: Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I’ve not been in the Forest Park area for a long time so I was skeptical, but we’ll definitely use this as our go-to place when visiting St. Louis.Parking- they have a free gated parking area that is very clean and well lit. Easy to get in and out, but you feel a sense of security at the same time.Staff - the desk staff were so friendly and helpful. Kudos to Rodger for helping quiet our noisy neighbors!Rooms - I guess I didn’t pay attention to the fact that these are extended stay rooms. They are really well equipped- apartment size fridge, sink, dishes, and a dishwasher. The room, we got a king size bed, was huge. More space than we expected, clean, and comfortable.Location - pretty wonderful, walkable to many restaurants and shops. They are next door to Songbird, a highly rated and must-try brunch spot. If you are staying here, I recommend going there for brunch. Wait times are a bit lengthy, but we all know what a line out the door means - really amazing food. Make a reservation 24 hrs before you go to help skip the line.Nearby - Vincent van Doughnut, an artisan doughnut shop owned by a local couple (shout out to Brandie Marsden), is famous for their creative flavors and sell out quickly, so be sure to get there early. We also had dinner at Grace Meat + Three and the fried chicken (even the strips) were really great.

Holiday Inn St. Louis - Creve Coeur, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
D Lopez: I got my car broke into and and we arrive at 3pm and we didn't get our room until 5pm. No courtesy no nothen. We went for a baseball game. Ruin our whole weekend .
Ogochi Nmerem: I called the front desk to report safety issues with another guest banging on our door at 1am in the morning. Andrea literally told me that there is nothing she can do about that and that she WILL NOT address it even when i verbalized how unsafe we felt. This makes me question how safe this hotel is. Definitely disgusted with the customer service I received from Andrea. They do allow hostile behavior from other guests in this hotel.
Trevor Doyon: Hotel looks and feels brand new. Rooms were spacious and clean. As amazing as the hotel itself was, the staff was even better. We were part of an adaptive hockey tournament in April of 2023 and Janice and her team went above and beyond making sure our disabled athletes and their families felt right at home.I had never stayed at a Holiday Inn before, and thanks to this experience I will be looking to book with their brand going forward.THANK YOU!
Brittany J: Good, clean hotel. My only thing is that the carpet in the room was sticky and smelled dirty (but not like mold), so it needs carpet shampooing.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Maxim Briskin: The noise from the highway is very loud
Tia Morris: Beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally clean hotel tucked away in a nice location. Service was attentive and friendly. Bracken Room (restaurant and bar) is located on-site. Daily drink specials and happy hour from 3pm-7pm. Our waitress/bartender was beyond amazing. She even offered to let us sample some beers on tap. The room more than exceeded our expectations. It was clean, roomy, and the bed was comfortable. Definitely worth the price! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommendRooms: Clean, spacious, and comfortableSafety: Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.Food & drinks: On-site restaurant with a full bar. Michelle Matthews: So impressed with this hotel I’m usually very good at spotting the flaws became I get nervous at the idea of getting a room thats dirty but this hotel was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Very clean, no smoke smell, bed clean and comfy, lobby and pool gorgeous! Loved our stay here! Definitely recommend for those who appreciate cleanliness and comfort!

David H: We stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The room was good but the "restaurant" breakfast had to be the poorest of any hotel breakfast bar I've had. It wouldn't have been so bad if it would have been part of the room fee. But to have to pay for cold food without even a microwave to warm it up was very disappointing. The selection of food was also very limited.

After trying a couple places, this has become my spot. New and clean. Staff has always been nice. It has the feel of a mini-fancy hotel. Holiday Inn Express St Louis - Central West End, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Ariel Barrientos: Todo muy lindo
T Martin: Elevator smelled like pot!! Room was nice and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was literally a grab and go, lots of prepkgd options (not healthy), but lots to choose from. Nowhere to sit & eat, so I had to carry it to our room, difficult if you get more than one option. 😉 Location was interesting 🤔Nearby activities: Not too far from multiple things to see or do.
Wirez GG: Great
Michael Strong: Amazing staff. Housekeeping staff, muchos gracias!!! Front desk; y'all were all just delicious. The rooms were like, so this is the new Holiday inn; I'm in.Rooms: Holiday inn size but, beautifully done. Attention to detail. Both spiffy and keen.Nearby activities: It's all just outside.Walkability: Walked almost everywhere and it was hot but, everything is just across the street or around the corner. It took longer to park or Uber than to just walk and, scooters everywhere!Food & drinks: The Brasserie! The pagan wine bar! The, the, everywhere!Everything!
leanna chapman: There is very little parking. But it is right down town. The rooms are nice and the staff is niceRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Kay Davis: Decent stay but if you’re driving a uhaul or hauling anything the hotel charges you $50 for parking. If you’re lucky enough to find a meter, then park there. The parking garage is very tight and the spots in front of the hotel are very limited. They do not serve hot breakfast as most holiday inn express does so that totally sucked. where the hotel is very compacted and it is in downtown STL so traffic is insane. Bathroom is small but super water had great pressure. I expected more for what I paid but I won’t choose this location again.
Route Sixty-Six: We found a room at this hotel on a very busy weekend in STL. Had there been other choices available we would have stayed elsewhere. The area is okay but the hotel is old and has been turned into a boutique type hotel. There is gated and underground gated parking but not enough spaces for everyone. We took the very last parking space one night in front of the building (not gated). There was no carpet in the rooms, only a throw rug between the two queen beds. I understand this hotel was newly remodeled but it smelled very musty in our room. The one bed was nearly against the wall/window and getting in and out of bed you would move the curtain where, had there been someone on the sidewalk just outside our room, they could have seen in. The room darkening curtain would not stay flush with the wall so it let in a lot of light from the street lights at night. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker but no microwave. The area where you hang your clothing has a bar across the middle so your clothing cannot hang down strait. It would have worked okay for hanging little kids clothing. There was a small vanity in the bathroom so not a lot of space to put your toiletries. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothing while showering. The old bathroom door opening isn't made to accommodate the barn door that was installed. It didn't provide for a nice tight fitting door or a completely private bathroom. We could not figure out how to correct the time on our clock and the front desk did not know how to either. The phone in our room did not work. The bed was comfortable and the dual head shower was nice.We did not realize the breakfast was grab & go and it was not mentioned as grab & go when checking in. Breakfast could be picked up (self-serve) in an unused hotel room. The egg omelets, sausage biscuits, etc. were frozen and there was only two microwaves in the room for everyone to heat their food before taking it back to their rooms. There was also packaged muffins, oatmeal cups, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee. We were quoted a price, stayed two nights and upon checkout found the price we were charged the second night was higher. When asking why it was higher the second night, the employee on duty gave an explanation of, "she said you were rude to her", referring to the employee that checked us in.So, unless you find yourself in the same predicament as us and there is just no where else in STL to stay, I would not recommend this hotel.
Patricia Clark: When you have been up 26 hours because your Grandaughter has been shipped to Children’s and this hotel opens their arms with a 6 am check in means everything. Clean comfortable room. Grab and go Breakfast and every staff member was welcoming.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ken Bass: Absolutely, positively, without exception one of the most beautiful and best designed Holiday Inn Express hotels I have stayed in, Ever!! I didn't know about the "Indigo" branding, but this hotel is wonderful. The decor is pleasing and natural. The original building was the first motel built in St. Louis. The most recent rehabilitation has occurred during the beginning of 2023. The care, design, and attention to the surrounding architecture is amazing!! The hallways, rooms and bathrooms are Five Star! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This hotel has the best rooms in the entire Mid-West. I am not over describing the special and unique qualities, I am just amazed at how much care and attention was put into the rehab of this hotel. You will feel special when staying here. We were lucky and had Dori check us into the hotel and she explained the wonderful details of this historic building and neighborhood. We were also lucky to meet Mike, the most cheerful, polite, and knowledgeable staff member Ever! Congratulations to Holiday Inn for bringing together a wonderful building and Fantastic people! 🤗⭐🇺🇸
Stephanie Horne: Rooms: Our room was exactly what we hoped for in a hotel room. It was clean and quiet in the evening.Nearby activities: There is so much to do in the CWE!Walkability: Walked to the science center and planetarium. Then the other direction for dinner and dessert. The ability to walk to the metro makes just about the entire city with walking distance.
Victoria Llaguno: Facilities are impeccably clean. A nice room with a fridge, no microwave, but single serve tea/coffee station. The bathroom barn door has no locks; so NO privacy. Overall, a great stay.Parking is extra, but in a secure area.Great continental breakfast spread.
Bee Sam: Well, this place has a fee for car parking, no locks on bathrooms, carry out breakfast. I rather spend a little extra that gives me all this. Hopefully I remember to not book here next time.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mikhail Foster: When I called to book my room, I asked about the amenities and they named off a list of things.• Continental breakfast• Microwave in the room• Netflix on the TV just to name a few and none of these amenities was there. They charged me for two days when I only stayed one day. I had a double queen bed room and I have to sleep on the other bed with my kids because I started itching 😤 I told the manager and nothing so we left early. They do not have any house keepers for over night so we couldn't get new sheets or trash bags for the room. I will never go back here
Isaiah Waistell: Dated building, room was decent, allowed our doggo, excellent staff they took care of our parking situation! Thank you guys!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Sandi Hague: We were very happy with our stay. Very clean room and excellent location
Terrence Rageinu: Nice area and easy access to Downtown St. Louis, MO. Front desk was very helpful and kind. Renovations coming soon to add Restaurant.Rooms: Already renovated. Very comfortable and modern.Walkability: Whole Foods, Shake Shack and many other options in walking distance.

Shellcee Sharp: Love them. Marcus and Devon are great!!!! Perfect customer service!!!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Matthew W: Air conditioning was super loud, the downstairs restaurant burned something on the grill almost every night and filled the hotel atrium with smoke
D Woody: Great Associates, Great shuttle operators, and dining room staff. The hotel itself needs an update. Needs new carpet, paint, refinished tub/shower combo. Hoping they get this done because it's in an ideal location to down town St. Louis, Missouri.Walkability: Very easy walking to downtown ballpark, restaurants, movie theater, grocery stores, etc.
Chelsea Banaszak: Noteworthy details: Really cool/unique pool!Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Jason: Old property with average rooms. Breakfast was not included in room reservation. I suggest staying elsewhere.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
kobi elgazar: מלון ישן באיזור לא ידידותי , ארוחת בוקר מזעזעת.
Daniel Anderson: Staff was indifferent to major security issue in my room. The lock to the adjoining room did not work. The door would not close on its own. Looks like someone had tried to kick it in. Despite the severe damage and the fact my neighbor could have walked right in, font desk staff told me the hotel was full and they had no other options. Maintenance staff had no spare deadlocks to replace to damaged one so they shoved wood shims underneath. Those shims stuck out the backside so the neighboring room just had to push them back through. Also the furniture was too lightweight to use a jamb. It was clear to me the damage was old and the hotel simply did not care to repair it in time for a full weekend. They wanted to try to rent the room anyway. St Louis was busy but the staff did nothing to find me suitable alternative accommodations. After an hour of sitting in the lobby telling other guests about my room they magically found me another one with a broken AC. Disgusted at the lack of importance the matter received and how little the staff was going to do until I became a really squeaky wheel. Someone could easily come into that room to assault the occupant or steal their belongings
Vivian L. Sims: We had a few hiccups with the corporate reservation system but Cynthia at the hotel was PHENOMENAL and helped us so much with getting our booking situated. The room was nice and clean and comfortable, and much larger than expected. Would definitely stay here again :).Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Joe: I guess stay here if you'd like to be knowingly placed in a room with a/c problems, then spend two hours going up and down the rickety elevator testing key cards with your new room for the incompetent staff, be rewarded for the trouble with the worst imaginable complimentary breakfast, be pressed for a tip by the breakfast attendant, and then as a final f-you be accused of being a liar during checkout. At least that was my experience.
Tiffany Brandell: The lobby was nice, and the rooms have been updated. There currently is a lot of construction going on around the hotel, so it is a bit of a mess outside. Our room was very nice, though.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Tianna Harrison: This by far was one of THEE WORST EXPERIENCES I have EVER encountered. The ONLY positive thing about this experience was DESTINY the front desk worker.IF you are seeking a pleasant experience I would recommend staying ANYWHERE but here
Lawrence Steiner: Nice quick, courteous check in. The room was cool with a refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave.
Lisa Brown: Dated and dirtyRooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 2/5 …More
K M: It was decent. Bathroom was very small. Not enough towels for 3 people. Entire hotel smelled like the pool (heavy chlorine smell). There was construction constantly going on outside so it was hard to relax, since our room was placed right near it. No provided breakfast, only offered a coupon for 1 person in the restaurant. Kinda rude seeing as you had 3 guests and we were Platinum members. Never had a Holiday Inn not have a morning provided breakfast. All there was, was a small store with drinks, ice cream and a few frozen meals. Not helpful when you have specific dietary needs and allergies to the items in the cold case.

We did not get a chance to use the workout room or pool but it was cool they served cookies from 8-10 pm in the lobby. The breakfast attendant did an amazing job. She should set the standard for all Holiday Inn locations. The food was hot and delicious and she was a one person show. Give this woman a raise!!!
