Mansion House Apartments: what do users think?
Eli Olson: I have never dealt with a more frustrating management staff. While staff members are in the building every weekday, nobody is ever available or willing to talk/answer questions. Nor does anybody in the team answer emails. Especially Brittany. Took me a whole MONTH to get a new set of keys, despite almost daily begging at the front desk, via phone, or through email. Then took $180 off my security deposit for a “deep clean” after I spent 4 hours scrubbing down the apartment myself. As for the amenities, a lack luster gym. Sanitizer/wipes are NEVER restocked. The pool, will open mid June and close late August. During that stretch, the pool is often closed for weeks at a time for “maintenance”. It’s probably closed more than it’s open during pool season. The free laundry room downstairs is nice, but more than half of the washers/dryers are typically broken/out of service at any given time. Lastly, the fastest WIFI you are able to get in the building is around 15 megabytes per second. I looked into the topic extensively with AT&T/Spectrum and that seems to be the fastest that location is able to get. Is the building at fault for slow wifi, maybe not, but a con nonetheless. While the rent prices are reasonably affordable, the building/garage feels fairly safe, and the roof/pool is beautiful (when open). None of it is worth the headaches that accompany. I am glad to be out of here.If anyone has any questions regarding the living situation, I’m happy to answer questions.
Peace Nlekwuwa: The worst apartment I've ever seen, the parking for visitors was terrible. I got to the front of the building and could not enter, I struggled with the door while the staff at the reception just looked at me, thankfully the staff that was to show me the place came to my rescue. The lobby and entire building was extremely hot. The pictures online did not match the apartment at all, the apartment was completely outdated and uncomfortable, the bedroom didn’t even have a closet. There was barely any storage space. The only positive was that the staff that showed me the apartment.
Katherine Perry: The apartments are small over priced and poorly managed. My daughter move in date was changed multiple times. When she finally moved in the apartment was dirty like someone moved out that day. The garbage disposal did not work neither did the air or heat. Put in the work order two weeks still not fixed. Not to mention property managers are rude and disrespectful to add insult to injury. The only reason I gave 1 star is for the roof top pool. Save your money keep looking for a better place!!!
Kay K: It’s a terrible place to live. Without my authorization, the staff here tossed away my goods. When I returned, I was told that the items will be thrown away in 2 hours!! When you lose your key, it costs $145 to replace it, while you can get a copy from Home Depot by 3 bucks. But when you are trying to ask help from them, it took forever for them to get back to you. I was stuck in a room without wifi for more than 2 weeks, because the apartment management here never replied your email. I will not renew the lease here after living half year. Also they never told me these policies or never replied my emails, but imposed fines on your account in a second. Here is a recent update:I had an extremely disappointing experience with this apartment complex. Not only did unknown individuals freely enter the building, posing a safety risk to all residents, but the management team showed no accountability for their mistake and failed to apologize for the security breach. Additionally, I received fines on my account for leaving what I believed to be personal belongings in the business center. The management failed to communicate that leaving personal items in the center was considered trash, and I was not notified that fines would be imposed. When I tried to address these issues, the front desk employee who authorized the unauthorized individuals to enter the building was not held accountable. I do not feel safe living in this environment and would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Please think twice before considering this apartment.
ROHIT BHUSARI: Very bad experience with the leasing, they will be asking for too much extra information for leasing an apartment that is not even required, They will trouble you the best they can while leasing an apartment, and will not rent here again.
Irfan Ishak: The building itself is great. But the management here is a joke! Not professional. Brittany the property manager never at her desk. They’re not here to help. They will blame you for everything even they are the one who gave you troubles. I signed the lease and it was a mistake and I’m leaving. What a joke management.
TONYA NATURALLYNATURAL: Linda Stephens is a liar and she works for their company, they just want your application fee and admin fee, they make it seem like they can get you in the perfect apartment but it’s all A LIE.. DONT TRUST THEM, DONT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!
Tay N Tonya: Where do I start, we spoke with Linda Stephens, who clearly doesn’t know what her job description is. We called to inquire about a studio apartment she made us think she was gonna get us in, told us she would do everything in her power to get us the apartment we want… LIESSSSS. They just want your application fee and the admin fee, save your money and go to Gentry down the street. These people are loser and hungry for money, DONT RENT WITH THEM..
Brittany Leffler: You have no control over the temperature of your own apt. You have almost no contact with a human ever and have to do almost everything via the computer ever since they were bought out by a corporation. They nitpick everything. You are only given one keyfob to get in and out of the building as well as only one key to get into your apt… and if you lose either it’s expensive to replace. The free laundry, price ranges and security are about the only positive things about this apartment complex.
jordan vaughn: Had a few problems along the way but not enough to go lower than 4 stars, Any wrongs were always righted and Brittany does a good job running things. Nice apartments and a cool maintenance team as well.
Toni Tee: Absolutely awful communication, They will never answer the phone. Would not recommend.
Jose Murillo: Absolutely awful communication, They will never answer the phone. An email reply will take a week, on top that once you try to move it they make it impossible due to Brittany taking a vacation every other month and the employees being hired and quitting after being asked to do stuff they weren’t trained to do. Would not recommend.
nakell hawkins: It’s unprofessional, the building is beautiful but the staff needs a lot of work. I understand it’s hard to find good help but this is just sad. I feel like if u work at a job for years you should know your job. And smile because you could give the wrong energy or attitude to the RIGHT person and it’s so many outcomes that could happen. No threat I like the courthouse you know ? But soon I’ll be reaching out to the owners or I’ll pay a lawyer to reach out . I’m very nice nd friendly so WHY BE WIERD nd HAVE A ATTITUDE smile boo life is great well mine is
Rubab R: Never gave us back our security deposit and everything was left spotless. They simply just stopped communicating once we returned our keys.
Christopher Lawrence: I lived here for a few months when I had a previous housing situation fall through and really needed a place to live. Family members from out of state were helping me look for housing so I didn’t become unhoused. Found Mansion House and was toured by Keyana. First off, she misquoted by $1,000 for a 1b/1b furnished unit, even after clarifying cause I thought the price sounded low. Then proceeded to tell me that my application was denied because I didn’t meet the income requirements (which I would have if she didn’t misquote me), and only admitted she misquoted me after clarifying the income requirement (2.5x). Eventually got a unfurnished unit cause I really needed somewhere to live. After I moved in I was told I owed an extra $100 in rent that was NOT included in the lease for a ‘short term fee’. Keyana initially couldn’t explain the fee cause it wasn’t in the lease, she had me talk to her manager who tried to brush it off as a mistake and said that they told my mom (who was helping me find housing options). She was also told that she wasn’t entitled to details of my lease because my name was the only name on the lease. The manager then proceed to threaten to “take me to collections and ruin my credit” if I continued to refuse to pay an additional $100/month that was not included in the lease. Also be mindful that when you sign the lease you acknowledge that they told you about the lead and asbestos in the building (which Keyana never actually explicitly did). These people are true scum. DON’T RENT FROM THEM!!!
Eastside Huncho: Please do not rent here, I’m currently getting ready to sue. They have no common sense or knowledge about the law, they hold grudges for mistakes they made and if another resident accuses you of anything even if you didn’t the office will not look at the cameras they will just assume you are guilty. I regret ever moving into this place and rather stay elsewhere.
Rita Poon: Freezing Cold in the winter. Very poorly run property.
Matt Byrne: If you enjoy having no heat in the winter and no air conditioning in the summer than by all means lease from this apartment. Absolutely horrible management. You will regret living here.
nancy treu: My son lives in St. Louis. He moved there for his first job right out of college. He toured some apartments and we went with him. Valerie was so helpful in helping him make his choice. He chose Mansion house and has been very happy with it. He says it's run well and he loves the location. It's 3 blocks from his job and with the metro access to the train station, airport and Uber when he needs it he doesn't even need a car. He will be moving up from a one bedroom to a two in the next few months and he plans to stay at Mansion House. Great job Valerie and your team!
d feinstein: Ms. Valerie is the sweetest! Great place to live and in the heart of downtown! Great view and caring maintenance. Definitely a great experience living here!!!!
Frank D'Apolito: The covid virus prompted an early departure from the “Mansion.” They took the opportunity to keep my security deposit with their charges. This despite paying the remaining 2.5 months that I was NOT there. They unilaterally created charges to keep my deposit. It was absurd. It is not a “Mansion” and it is NOT a place to rent! Why a one star? Because the system does not accept a ZERO!

John Dourdourekas: The apartment is very close to SLU and is always very welcoming. Especially Cecilia at the front desk, she is always very helpful and kind.

St. Louis Luxury Apartments: what do users think?
Colton Newlin: Gallery 720 was my home for the past three years while in school. I'll break my review into three sections: (1) Management, (2) Apartment, and (3) Location.Management: During my time, the members of the leasing office were responsive, friendly, and helpful. The move-in and move-out process was seamless on my end. Ms. Lily, one of the security guards at the front desk, instantly became an integral part of my life at Gallery 720. If I needed to pick-up a package, Ms. Lily was there. If I locked myself out of my apartment, Ms. Lily was there. Ms. Lily always addressed me by name and greeted me any time I entered or exited the building. Having a staff member like Ms. Lily really made my experience at Gallery 720 above and beyond. The maintenance staff was equally impressive. I never waited more than 48 hours for a service request to be completed. They were respectful of my space, friendly, and efficient.Apartment: I lived in the "10" style studio apartment on the 9th floor. I had nice views of the city with the floor to ceiling windows. However, note that during the summer, the windows let in a lot of heat (even with the blinds closed). I'm not sure if the entire building is this way, but the studio apartments have central air conditioners attached to all the apartments. This resulted in some interesting smells coming through the air vents and a lack of individualized temperature control. It's not an ideal set-up, but it really didn't bother me personally. My unit was equipped with a high efficiency washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances, and quartz countertops. The apartment really does look nice and I received several compliments from friends that would visit. Additionally, considering the market-based price of similarly situated apartments in the downtown area, the asking price for rent at this apartment is very reasonable. The fourth floor amenity level is exceptional: the largest gym I've seen in an apartment building, rooftop pool, hot tubs, grills, business center, and a rentable event room.Location: The building is locked to outside visitors from 6:00pm to 6:00am which is a must in downtown St. Louis. I've seen some terrible things outside my window in the late hours of the night, but I've never felt unsafe inside the apartment building. Downtown St. Louis isn't the safest place, obviously, but Gallery 720 does make sure that its residents are looked after. Setting aside the crime, the location is perfect for downtown living. You can get to the arch in about 15 minutes on foot, about 10 minutes to get to Busch stadium, about 20 minutes to Enterprise Center, about 5 minutes to America's Convention Center, and about 2 minutes to the downtown Schnucks. There's plenty of nightlife and restaurants all within a 10 minute walking distance of the apartment.Overall: My decision to live at Gallery 720 was perfect for me. The location suited my needs for school. The apartment was equipped with all the amenities that I could want. The management and staff at the building were phenomenal. I'm confident that Gallery 720 deserves a 5/5 review.
Leah Simon: Gallery 720 is by far the best place that I've ever lived!! I lived there for almost 2 years. There were 2 members of the office staff James & Lance that were always so helpful and friendly. I was moving from my hometown 2 hours away but they made my move in process so easy. One of the security workers Ms. Lily was also amazing. Always so friendly and she always had kind & encouraging words to say. The building was always so clean and quiet. There were times that I thought I was the only person living on my floor. I had two jobs so it was very nice to come home to peace & quiet. I also loved the fact that no 1 could just drop by to see me with the 24 hour security that this property provided. If you are looking for the prefect place to live, please consider Gallery 720 or one of the other 3 locations that they have also located in the downtown area. I'm sure that the staff at the other locations are just as amazing as the Gallery 720 staff!!! Thank you for everything!!!
Ladybug Libra: The most rudest people they have no manners called to have a tour the lady that answered the phone was very rude
Karl Palmer: This place was amazing!! I loved my time living here and the staff was very attentive to all of the residents!!
Lindsey Clark: I can’t say enough great things about my apartment! Quiet, clean, and outstanding customer service anytime I need anything! Highly recommend!
Anna Ruggiero: Awesome place! Love living here and the staff is amazing!
Donna Millar: My husband and I have lived here for 3 and a half years. We have never lived in a place where we have felt this safe in our home. Having 24 hour security makes such a difference for well being. Management is the best we’ve ever had. Any maintenance issues we have had have been resolved within 24 hours of putting in a request. The amenities available to residents are top notch. Anyone considering moving here will not be disappointed.
Briana Hollmon: James D in the management office makes this feel like a home and not a rental. He works to hear the need and works to meet the need. He is caring, understanding and a great listener.
Joshua Peters: The leasing managers and security officers are trash there's always a new one every 2 months that are ignorant they never answer the phone. Upon moving out they will charge you! Stay away from this place. They have predatory rental practices.
Jennifer Jones: I’ve lived here for over 4 years and one of the things I love is the quick turnaround and availability of my maintenance guy Darvis! He is the best!
Naomi Taylor: Simply beautiful
Cherie Rajan: Amazing building! Such a lovely staff (both leasing office, security, cleaning), always willing to help and answer questions! I’ve lived here for almost a year now and haven’t had any issues. The apartments are modern, sleek, and have great finishes. The in-unit washer/dryer is so convenient and the amenities (pool, hot tub, grills, patio, pool table, TV, kitchen, etc.) are all great! Would definitely recommend!
Shanitra McNealy: I am updating my review from last year and decreasing my rating. I moved here to Gallery 720 in May 2019 and originally loved my place. Center of downtown and so accessible to so many places here without having to move my car. James and Lance, the leasing agents were great and very accommodating , however, since lease ended 11/30/19, I have yet to receive my $500 deposit back from the company. It is stated that you are to receive it back within 30 days and it is two months later, and no one has provided me my deposit back. I can never talk to any of the owners (or those in charge of cutting the checks) and all I have received are empty promises. They have claimed to have mailed my check twice, however, neither has made it to my mailbox. I have stayed in several apartments and this is the first one where I am having such a difficult time getting back what they had no problem taking. Most places, provide your deposit back within a couple weeks, if that long. I hate to have to let those future residents know but people have to be made aware. Yes, the apartments are nice and the guys in the office are very kind and sweet but to treat residents who take care of the place, follow the rules and don't cause any problems like this is uncalled for. So, BEWARE........it's February 11, 2020 and I still have not received my deposit back and no one can provide me a direct answer as to why. It works for them that they are not registered with the Better Business Bureau bc if they were, I would definitely file an official complaint. My suggestion, sign the lease with maybe a deposit waiver, therefore, you won't be waiting as long as I have once you move out. I'm just very disappointed, very disappointed.
Desma Walker: Gallery 720 was an amazing place to live! I hated to leave there, but I’m a travel nurse so I only stayed there for 7 months and I loved it. From James and Lance in the leasing office being so sweet and amazing, to the nice pool area, to the comfort of my studio apartment. Also, depending on what floor and side of the building you live on, you’d have a great view of the arch!
Joe Thomas: I loved living here! The place is always clean, staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, very easy to communicate with management and with its location you can pretty much walk anywhere you needed to go downtown. I would love to have another work assignment in St.Louis so I could stay here again. Highly recommended.
Tony Watson: Secure and Friendly
Michael Bradshaw: Love living here the staff is awesome and super nice. They are always available to help and solve any issues that may arise
Laura Bradigan: I had an excellent experience with my short term lease on a furnished studio. The room was squeaky clean with brand new appliances. The management was helpful and kind every step of the way. I felt safe with the 24/7 building security and secured parking in the garage next door. There is even a skywalk that’s takes you directly from the building to the garage. I never had any problems with noise and my neighbors were friendly. For the size of the studio, safety, and convenience I think it is an excellent value. Travel nurses peep this spot!
Noah Wierenga: Have lived at Gallery 720 for 4 years now and I LOVE IT! The leasing staff are extremely nice and always accommodating. Sad to have to move after a great time here due to my job. Very secure building which I love, there is a security guard 24/7 and all of them are great and friendly to talk to. Maintenance has always been quick and responsive when I did need them for something in the apartment. Great views of the downtown area and within walking distance to the Ballpark or Washington Ave. Definitely a complex worth checking out if you are considering living Downtown!
Emily Decker: I have a very good friend who lives here and I'm always so jealous when I come here and visit him. Not only are the apartments gorgeous with amazing views of the Downtown area, but I always feel like I'm being taken care of when I visit. The staff all know me now and are so great about helping me with packages, directions, recommendations and more. I once even forgot my phone on top of my car in the parking garage and one of the staff walked all the way back to the garage and got it for me!! How amazing is that?! Seriously, when my lease is up on my apartment, I am going to try and move here. Thank you for being great to even the guests of residents!
Rachel Dickey: I love the staff and positive atmosphere at the Gallery Luxury Apartments. Whenever I have needed anything they always come through for me. I am so glad St. Louis’s downtown is back on trend!

West Pine Lofts: what do users think?
Yilun Li: 1. The model room they show you during your first visit is totally different from what you're actually gonna live, so DO NOT trust what they show you. The actaul room you're gonna live is allocated by them and it's way smaller and older than the model room.2. A maintainence request that was supposed to be fixed in 5 minutes responded after 3 month.3. Elevators are always down and seems like no one was taking care of them. Corridor is stickly and always smells like urine. Again..seems like no one in office notices this issue.4. Layout of this complex is like a maze. Corridor is dark and makes me feel depress.
Ben Behimer: The maintenance team is very responsive and Rob and Reno do a great job if I need anything. However, the people in the office will not honor the terms of my lease. They charged me a few hundred dollars in fees that weren’t on my lease. When I talked to them about it, they refused to refund those fees even though there was nothing on the lease about it. If you decide to live here, make sure that the charges they make you pay are actually on your lease!
Andrea Silas: Leah, Megan, and the new girls are awesome! Very friendly and respectful.
JIAMING GU: Have been living here for 16 months, gonna move out soon. Very supportive office managers and quick services! My car battery was dead due to the snowstorm these days, the serviceman was so helpful, he drove he car aside mine and use two cables to charge my car for 5 minutes! Luckily my car starts working~ Appreciate for everythingIf you wanna a Furnished Apartment in St. Louis, I would say definitely choose WPL.
Madison Greenhill: The maintenance request was not completed. My broken microwave was not replaced.
Tommie Strong: I’ve been living at the West Pine lofts as of September of this year 2022 and I have nothing but great complements to the leasing office staff such as Megan and the maintenance staff such as Reno.
Michelle Kopec: I can’t say enough great things about living here. I recently moved to STL for a new job and I needed to find myself a new home FAST! This hands down was the best situation I stumbled upon; furnished w/ most utilities included! I was put in touch with Megan. And not only did she respond immediately but she said she would pair me up with the best roommate (no 1 bed units were available). I was very hesitant to have a roommate to begin with, let alone be blindly paired with one. She worked her magic and matched me with such an amazing person! She made this process seamless for me and EVEN came in on her day off so I could move in the day the office was closed. I love living here and everything has been nothing aside from wonderful! Thank you again to Megan! She really made this amazing for me :)
Ifunaya Ezike: I have lived here for about four months now and I have enjoyed it so far. In the beginning, management was struggling a little bit due to being short staffed but things have turned around. One amazing resource this place has is Megan who works in the front office. Megan always goes out of her way to make sure any questions or requests I have are met in a timely manner. She has even recommended some great places for me to eat and they have never been misses! I also really appreciate the maintenance team who are very prompt in making sure my work orders are fulfilled on time (like same day or next day on time.) This is a luxury STUDENT apartment so please bare that in mind when setting your expectations. Yes the place is great and yet the amenities are amazing but, students live here are that could be a dealbreaker for some people. The building is clean and so are the shared spaces. Parking is also very tolerable which is a perk. The social events hosted by management are also another bonus. Overall it has been an 8.9/10 experience.
cyberfox: good
Brianna Rider: Megan and Reno have been super nice & helpful! They are awesome!
Katie Dalaviras: I have loved living here but mostly because of the experience Megan M in the office has created for me! Has always been available to help and make the community a fun and welcoming place!
Natalie: Reno is absolutely amazing! He gets to our apartment so promptly to take care of maintenance issues. Yesterday I saw tons of ants (just that time of year) and he was in my apartment within 30 minutes solving the problem!! Haven't seen a single ant since. We're in good hands here with Reno taking care of us!!!
Jason Raggazino: Meghan, the leasing manager, is absolutely AMAZING. I have never met a leasing staff member as positive, helpful, and caring as her. Any time I have a concern, question, or literally anything, she is more than willing to help and do everything in her power to assist. She is also a huge contributor to creating an inclusive and fun WPL community-- she knows residents names and even their dog names, lol. Meghan is truly wonderful and everyone in WPL knows it.On the other hand, there is a leasing staff member Lia who has been rude to residents on multiple occasions. She tends to speak to residents with an attitude, and if she has to go out of her way to help, she doesn't-- and it's very clear. We're paying a lot to live here, and this sort of treatment is really unacceptable. Any basic and reasonable request on the part of residents shouldn't be met with attitude. I'm honestly sick of it and I just go to Megan if I have any questions about anything, because she treats residents with respect and kindness.
Nick Shenouda: Megan was a huge help when I came to the office and had questions regarding the facilities that west pine has to offer. Amazing all around!
Akash Vidya: I had a site visit and submitted all the paperwork online as requested and inspire of this I told that I could not sign my lease two days before the agreed upon date and even after multiple follow ups they kept pushing the signing date back and 2 days before my planned move, they told me someone else signed before me inspite of me doing all the paperwork online as requested. The staff seems to just lie to me the whole time and was very non transparent on matters regarding lease signing and moving in. Thanks to them I had to find an Airbnb within one night in the city to stay. Extremely unprofessional experience and I warn anyone dealing with this company to be careful of such poor experiences!
Megan Lantz: West Pine Lofts is a great place to live. I love the location and the convince of living in a furnished unit and having all utilities included in the monthly rent. Lejla, the leasing consultant, and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful!
Noah Myers: Great location, amenities, and responsive maintenance. Megan was super informative on everything they had to offer.
Samantha Wickert: Love everything WPL has to offer!! Staff has been super helpful and they always host super fun events for residents.
Zehong Li: it is definitely bad experience living here. Espexially one of the woman staff in the office. everytime talking to her makes me disgusting and wander wehther i owned her money.
Claire Quan: Reno, the head of maintenance, is the best part of living at West Pine Lofts. He knows most of the tenants by name, even our dogs! Every time he sees my dog and I he goes running to the front office to get treats. He is so quick to make any repairs and the grounds have been so much better since he started. We have had many maintenance men come and go but Reno is by far the best.
J I: Kudos to the maintenance staffs Reno & Rob. Prompt same day service on 3 tasks, 2 men, done in the same day.I do acknowledge the previous manager was reluctant to run the apartment to call it satisfactory. Not to mention his lousy customer service. Under the new manager Rory and Assistant Manager Theresa, things seem to be picking up.

Montclair On the Park Apartments: what do users think?
Joseph Bell: Great apartment!
Black Dynamite: Ian is the best event coordinator and throws the best. Would recommend living here but get a 2 year lease
Mohit G: I love this apartment building! The units are great, the community of residents is really friendly, and the staff is super helpful. You can’t beat the location either!
杨彤: Lots of activities and kind staffs
Pavan Sai: Montclair apartment is the wonderful go to live community where you find friendly staff trying to help in any way possible and access to all amenities is the main thing I like about the apartment. All the rooms are wonderful to live.
pushpalatha reddy: Good one with all amenities😊
Michael Borror: I love living here.. the staff is great and helpful. The apartment is close to the attractions and close to my doctor's. I also love the events the apartment has for their residents.
William Lee: Great place to live. Events got better in the past
Nokomis Ramos-Gonzalez: Posting here to give Margaret Lee a positive review as she was fantastic during the move-in process to the Montclair, always happy to reply to my emails very quickly, she provided me with a lot of help and guidance, particularly as this was my first time living in the US!
Heath Rutledge-Jukes: My air conditioner grows snow, maintenance doesn't seem to know how to fix it. Also, the laundry room now no longer takes my card and keeps getting declined but when I pay the $1400/month rent it works just perfectly :)Not worth the cost. Maybe it would be if they had solid upkeep on their amenities. I would say if you can get it for $1050/month you would be in good shape but otherwise there are better apartments elsewhere.
DefenderofBacon 2: Water pressure hates working
Krs DG: The fire alarms here are always going off I feel like I live in a fire station
Sukhamoy Som: My daughter lived at Montclair for three years but recently had to break her lease in an emergency situation. On July 11, 2022, the concrete roof above her car in the underground parking lot collapsed and totaled the car. We decided to look for another apartment out of her safety concern as she could have been seriously injured if she had been there at the time. What is more infuriating is that there were signs that something is wrong in the parking garage roof as white powder like debris was falling at times and would make marks on the car. In spite of reporting the problem through written work orders, Mac Properties did not take any preventive action.Montclair apartment gave us the option of sending the car to a body shop of their choosing (Collier) which had no opening for months. Montclair could not even give us an alternative parking spot for the car while we wait for repairs/for a rental/for a new car. Therefore, we were forced to create an insurance claim. When our insurance evaluated the car, they decided to total the car so in the end, we did not receive any compensation from Montclair. My purpose for writing this review are multi-fold:First, I want a thorough investigation to find the root cause of roof collapse and to determine whether there is any water damage to the concrete roof and pillars. Incidents like this should not be allowed to be pushed under the rug for the safety of everyone still living there or working there.Second, it was unfair for Mac Properties to charge my daughter two month’s extra rent for breaking the lease when the management can’t even provide a minimum safe environment.Third, Mac Properties should have at least reimbursed us for the hardship caused by the roof collapse in terms of reimbursing substitute transportation which we requested to management but was denied.Pictures below taken on the date of the damage by Montclair apartments and my daughter:
Claire Jennings: Great building, friendly staff, great location. The major downside we have experienced is that management and maintenance just come in whenever they want. They will literally let you know the night before they decide to do a random inspection. Have an important Zoom meeting? Doesn't matter. They'll insist that you let them do whatever they want.
Abigail Bell: Bizarre things happen here. A friend had their car totaled when a pipe burst in the parking garage (which is nasty, with extremely tight spaces, gross leaks onto your car, terrible smells), and there was a recent event that traumatized a lot of residents– who now would like to move but are unable to have the cost of breaking the lease waived even after some gruesome experiences. There was another unit I knew of that had a dead bat left on their AC unit (visible out their window) for weeks despite requests to remove it. The trash is often overflowing out of the dumpsters and there is tons of broken glass surrounding the back door where my dogs have to walk every time they go out.I didn’t listen when other students told me about all of the nasty and unbelievable things that happened to them, but I ended up desperate to leave within months of moving in. Even though the location is perfect next to the medical center, it’s not worth it.
Pamela Moore: Quincy has been so helpful to me since the first day we met. Even thought I moved in a couple months ago, I can still call her for anything. She's always willingly to help me get things straighten out. I didn't want Quincy to go unnoticed. Thank you so much Quincy!
Mei San Tang: AJ is helpful and thoughtful when it comes to front desk matters. He is always proactive about packages. I also appreciate his positive energy - chatting with him when I get home at the end of a work day always help make my day!
Alexis Bruner: Andrew is a star employee! Always helpful, never fails to greet residents with a smile, and makes Montclair feel like home.
Addy Mims: Kafilat always greets me with a smile and positive energy even though she works long hours both Saturdays and Sundays. She’s always kind and helpful! Very thankful for her!
Adam Maleki: Since I moved here which is less than 2 months, all staff so far have been so friendly, kind, and caring. I should start to review most of them gradually, but here I wanna thank Andrew, not only for his everyday kindness but also because he helped me take my mattress to my apartment; without his help, I wasn't able to do that.

Metropolitan Flats Apartments: what do users think?
Zach Xu: Current management as of 5/1/23 was beyond disappointing. Complete failure to communicate via email for a whole month despite numerous attempt to connect. Passive aggressiveness from the office which was not helpful. Was trying to extend after being a resident for five years and was offered $5000+ a month. Building and locations were great, but would avoid this current management at all cost.
Alex Guo: Coming up on two years living here, and I will say that Metropolitan Flats has a lot of great things going for it.I'll start with Cons since that's probably why you're reading this review:- Don't expect to find free street parking. When friends visit, parking is a bit hard. This is normal for CWE though.- Construction across the street for a huge new university building that will end soon though but it looks like it might block out some of the sunlight for the lower units.- Noise from outside comes inside. Large windows mean more noise leaking in! You'll probably get used to the car noise. The occasional conversation outside will leak in. But our unit had the unique issue of being too close to the only exterior entry gate (near the dog park) which is super heavy for safety reasons. It slams shuts super hard and loud and sometimes causes the whole apartment to shake! You will get used to it as I did, but it's annoying during the spring/summer/fall when everyone's enjoying walking around. So if you do get an apartment, make sure to avoid these units (and the one above/near the fitness gym because of falling weights and stuff)- Last thing: Bedrooms (within the same apt) with shared walls will hear each other 😳 Especially if the AC duct work goes through them. So uh... take that as you will.Lots of Pros:+ With the management change at the end of 2022 to Mill's property, there have been no degradation of maintenance times and service. Our washer/dryer unit broke down and was replaced within 1hr.+ Dog owners rejoice! The well-lit private dog park amenity has been a game changer for my dog and me. Due to St Louis's somewhat flip-floppy weather, the dog park is a perfect solution to hopping outside especially if there is bad weather or it's late at night.+ Underground assigned climate controlled garage parking - super convenient, safe, on snow days, it's so nice to just hop in and go and not worry about being snowed in.+ Zero pests/super clean common areas: This is Missouri so I kinda expect to see a random flying/crawling insect from time to time. But compared to living in Downtown STL, no (scary) bugs have found their way in!+ Quiet neighbors: I'm in a second floor unit but above and below the floors are concrete so you don't hear footsteps (or existence). Only when somebody from above drops something hard or drags a chair lol. The indoor walls separating neighboring units (same floor) are actually insulated from noise + for temperature. Very difficult to hear them.+ Small bonus: if you have a smart speaker that has an integration with Ecobee, all the units have this for the control for the AC/heat and it's super convenient to never ever touch the thermostat and just use your voice to do it. It's hard to live without this now.+ Surrounding area is super walkable if you work for Wash U medical center / BJC / Pharmacy school. Lots of food. Right next to Forest Park is a huge plus. Down the street from Whole Foods is a huge plus.
Alissa Ranger: We have been very impressed with the friendly staff and level of service thus far! We felt so welcomed upon move-in and want to give a special thanks to Dylan who went above and beyond to ensure we'd have a seamless experience. The welcome gift with the handwritten note was such a thoughtful surprise - thank you, Dylan!
Edward Lawlor: The maintenance team at Metro Flats is amazing: prompt, expert, thorough and so nice. We are fortunate to have such a great group.
Angie C: Beautiful community and wonderful staff! Had the opportunity to meet Terrena and she is absolutely amazing!
Whitney Brasel: The Metropolitan Flats is absolutely the best apartment experience I’ve ever had. The staff are kind, professional and go above and beyond to help. Dylan, Brad, JP, and Bri go out of their way to ensure everything from the initial tour to move-in is smooth, snag-free and exceptional. These luxury apartments come with luxury service from this team that makes each resident feel like a VIP. The contemporary modern design of the building is outstanding - from the common areas to the units themselves. Each space is well thought out and well designed. The gym has everything you need. Secured parking for residents and a separate guest garage provides peace of mind and safety. The units are quiet and soundproof. I can’t say enough about Metro Flats. I have high standards for customer service and living accommodations and the staff and experience here has exceeded every expectation.
Maryam Javid: Too expensive for the poor experience.
Guan Wang: We moved in this apartment for 9 months now and I would say the management team did ok. We chose a top floor apartment and we expected a quiet environment to live in.However the top floor noise issue bothered us 2 times and we are currently suffering the third time. We had to wait for a couple of days to get the fix done and during the waiting time we couldn't have good rest. This time the noise is like somebody is sawing wood on the roof and I think it might be the ventilation issue again. The reception told us to wait until Friday and this might be fixed. They won't offer us a temporary room to stay until they fix the problem, even though there are rooms waiting for rent but they told us it was fully rented. They just wouldn't put our situation in their shoes and come up with a solution.A really frustrating living experience here in this"luxury" apartment. Besides, our parcel lost once after delivered to the apartment.
Carlos Sanchez: The main reason to rent, after location, is all about the care and attention paid by management and maintenance.  Both teams at Metropolitan Flats are the reason why I'm so happy living here. Submitting a maintenance request is easy with the phone app, and is usually addressed within 24 hrs.  Maintenance is quick, clean, and efficient and has addressed the few requests I've had the first time.  Thank you JP!
Anna B: Beautiful building in the heart of CWE! Perfect location close to Forest Park.
Lisa Chi: My husband and I have been at metroflats for a year now and have had a terrific experience living here! The apartments are newly renovated with great amenities and the staff are always helpful and responsive to all our questions. Would highly recommend metroflats!
Carrie Ashbrock: Metro Flats has been the best decision my husband and I have made since moving to St. Louis a year ago! We love the apartment itself, the amenities are high-end and the walls and ceilings are completely sound proof. Also, the first floor patios are the best you can find in the area. The staff is extremely responsive and helpful, they will help you with whatever you need and very quickly. Another of the best features is the location... We now only have one car because we hardly ever have to drive anywhere. The CWE has so much to do and you can bike or walk to tons of places! We have also made great friends living here and our dog has many many new friends at the dog park as well.
Lilianne Barbar: Love living here, and management is great and super responsive. I would definitely recommend it.
Katrina Bark: The apartments are amazing! I've lived in a number of apartments, but this one is one of the most soundproof. I actually get a good night's sleep despite living across from the hospital. The staff are friendly and do everything to help and welcome you to the community. Lots of fun activies are planned for residents ranging from cocktail making classes to yoga and mimosas in the park. The amenities are very modern and central heating and cooling are critical.. especially in St Louis which the. If you have a dog there is a mini dog park as well.
Kaitlyn Ho: Best place to live ever! All of the staff is so incredibly friendly and Metro Flats has many online events (due to COVID-19) for their residents which a nice way to get to know other residents. The apartments are very nice and spacious, we get many compliments from guests. The location is perfect and I would not have wanted to live anywhere else in the CWE!
Ravi Prathipati: It's been a great experience living here! Stacy has really been helpful and welcoming and provided a bunch of local recommendations! The apartments are also very comfy and high quality! Would recommend Metropolitan Flats to anyone!!
Nicholas Glass: Really enjoyed my time at Metro. Great location (close to med campus, forest park, and plenty of restaurants). Underground parking garage and the gym were super nice amenities to have. Never had concerns about security. One thing that I especially appreciated were the community events (even though COVID made in-person things tough); there was bingo, food trucks, pizza making, and raffles throughout the year.
Lisa Steuby: I love living here. This building could not be in a better location, close to the park and whole foods as well as the night life in the CWE. To have underground parking and in unit laundry was a must for me. The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The common areas are always impeccably clean and well kept. If I have a clogged drain,(my fault) so easy to call maintenance and they fix it immediately! So pleased with my decision to make this my home.
Margaret Reneau: Stacy E. was fantastic! She was responsive and friendly and patient with numerous questions. The Leasing process was very simple as well. Thank you Metro Flats
Helen Webster: Unbelievably positive experience at Metropolitan Flats! Stacy is such a gem and could not have been more kind and helpful with every aspect of the tour/application/lease signing! Luke also was so patient with all of my questions and so nice. Would recommend Metropolitan Flats to anyone!!
Joshua Tobin: Just moved in here and so far loving being at Metro Flats! The apartments are beautiful (with tons of storage space) and in a great location in the CWE. Management and maintenance are extremely responsive and respond to requests usually within the same day. Amenities are great too with the gym, coffee/espresso machine in the lobby, and the lockers to hold packages. The dog park is great too especially if you have a young puppy that has to go out frequently at night!

One Hundred Above the Park Apartments: what do users think?
Jiahe Zhao: The apartment was spacious, beautifully designed, and had amazing views of the forest park.
Lin Li: This apartment complex offers stunning views every day, and the manager, Natasha, is incredibly kind and attentive. No neighbors I know have been charged additional fees upon moving out, as I've heard many of my classmates living elsewhere have been. The building's service team is great. Even though some minor issues occurred in my apartment, Natasha has been quick to respond and resolve them. Living here is overall a 5-star experience.
Nivi Charms: Austin has been very helpful with maintenance requests. He went out of his way to help with a few special requests. He has been very professional and was quite thorough with his work. Thank you, Austin!
Ryan Shambaugh: Natasha (The property manager) has been such an instrumental piece in our enjoyment of living here at 100 Above the Park for the past year. Every time we reach out with a question or concern, her response is timely, thorough, and she always follows through with what she says she is going to do. Additionally, when we see her in the building, she is always quick with a smile and a friendly hello. My fiancé and I have lived in a number of apartments over the years and our experience here with Natasha as our property manager puts this at the very top of the list. Thank you, Natasha!
Nate Cobb: Austin was very friendly, helpful and considerate. He quickly helped us with our maintenance request and made sure the entire project went smoothly, he is awesome!
Ruthellen Osherow: Gerald is ***THE BEST*** - extremely helpful and an asset to 100 over the Park!!!
KAL: I just wish I didn’t have to pay more than $100 per month, only to come back to the garage with every single parking spot full (even the visitor spots) at night. Because of work and classes, I often get home very late, and I don’t feel safe parking in the alley or the streets (because of safety reasons and potentially getting ticketed/towed by the city). It’s frustrating because why do I even pay for a parking pass if there is no available parking?
Daniel Cornish: Austin looks after the building and its residents. A true pro! So grateful for him.
Alex Z: Very nice apartment. I have been having a great experience here since I moved in.
Justin Adel: I was one of the first residents at the 100, and I am sad to say I recently moved. There have been a few property managers over the last 2 years, but none as helpful, caring, and responsive as Natasha. She truly changed my experience living in this landmark building, answering emails at all times of day and accommodating for all issues with nothing but a smile on her face. Over the last few months: Natasha helped my move out process go smoothly, assisted in helping me reserve/plan a party in the building's dining room, reserve a great parking spot, and connected me to other residents in the building. Alongside Gerald, Mac properties and current residents are lucky to have her managing the building! Thank you Natasha!!
Diksha G: This is a great building with great staff. Eric Butler at the front desk was extremely helpful for my mom and I—I needed some help late at night around 10pm to check if my mom was ok, and he swiftly took action to check on her and made sure everything was good. Thank you Eric!
Anne-Marie O'Connor: I stayed in a beautiful apartment with amazing views of sunsets that were so uplifting I felt like I was on vacation. The building has great staff: Eric Butler, Gerald Precise and Diana Lane at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, and their pleasant and personable demeanor immediately made me feel at home. They were knowledgeable and efficient at dealing with any queries I had about the building or the neighborhood. I was glad to know they were downstairs. This building is very well maintained and spotless throughout. There is a wonderful gym and business center and balcony and other common spaces. My apartment on the 23rd floor had little noise from the street, and the occasional wind didn't bother me. I stayed here on a temporary basis to deal with some family issues. I extended my stay, thanks to my very helpful rental agent, Cristina Dulin at Arch Interim Housing, because I was so comfortable. I will try to stay here again the next time I come to St. Louis to visit family. This photo is the view from my apartment. I never tired of it, whether it was snowing or raining or sunny. I always had a perfect view.
Li Xue: worst management team ever
Matthias Scharnowski: I moved here a few months ago after touring a couple of places. This building and its community is great all around. Everything is new and high quality. The views are incredible, and so is the staff. There are tons of things to do very close, so you won’t even need a car most of the time. I’d move here again in a heartbeat!
Sheeba Martin: Breathtaking views of Forest Park and City even with all the snow. Jeanne Gang design in St. Louis. Nancy at the front desk made me feel very welcome. Maintenance and office staff were equally welcoming and the model apartments were very well done.
B Hodge: New to STL and would totally recommend The 100. I toured several high rises and The 100 was my first and only choice! I absolutely love living here! The views are amazing. The amenities are great and the staff is excellent. Shaelyn, my leasing consultant, is the best. The 100 is the place to be!
EA Innovations: Moving to 100 was one of my best decisions! There is no better time to wake up to amazing views of the city. It’s like I’m living a constant state of vacation from all that is happening in the world. My agent Carolyn is THE BEST! She was so patient and informative throughout the process. She made sure that I landed in the perfect unit for my lifestyle as a busy entrepreneur that works from home. We still stay in touch after move in. Really responsive service all around.Did I mention the most unique views in the city?!
Jeff Garcia: I have been leasing a luxury apartment at 100 Above the Park since November 2020. The building and amenities are magnificent! The views of Forest Park are amazing! The staff is absolutely superb! I love it here.
Linda Bryant: Live here for comfort, style, ESG (well, E&S), interesting neighbors ...we are the first official residents, so while our apartment is top notch, we are not deterred by a little “camping” as the building comes to its glorious completion. The appliances exceed our expectations. In five months, the one time we asked for help (email through resident portal) they arrived within an hour to complete all three requests. We love the Amazon Hub onsite ... the accommodating staff, the hospitality like “free coffee truck” every so often, free delivery by Whole Foods ...and every morning we smile when we walk into the Great Room and see Forest Park. ( In our former home we faced the City for 20 years.) We are so happy here ...our friends who visit tell us they hope to downsize in time to join us before the building is filled. Life is good Above the Park!
dave anderson: I have toured the place and the quality of materials used is terrible. Specifics are cheap flooring and kitchen cabinets. The apartments are extremely overpriced. The general contractors are incompetent as well.Mr zhang, btw thats the price of living in a improving neighborhood. I have been all over the Orient and have seen how poorly built and quick buildings go up.....and fall down there. You want quality built it takes time. Stop your crying or move ya whiner. I wouldnt pay more than 400 dollars a month to live in the building.
