Mansion House Apartments: what do users think?
Eli Olson: I have never dealt with a more frustrating management staff. While staff members are in the building every weekday, nobody is ever available or willing to talk/answer questions. Nor does anybody in the team answer emails. Especially Brittany. Took me a whole MONTH to get a new set of keys, despite almost daily begging at the front desk, via phone, or through email. Then took $180 off my security deposit for a “deep clean” after I spent 4 hours scrubbing down the apartment myself. As for the amenities, a lack luster gym. Sanitizer/wipes are NEVER restocked. The pool, will open mid June and close late August. During that stretch, the pool is often closed for weeks at a time for “maintenance”. It’s probably closed more than it’s open during pool season. The free laundry room downstairs is nice, but more than half of the washers/dryers are typically broken/out of service at any given time. Lastly, the fastest WIFI you are able to get in the building is around 15 megabytes per second. I looked into the topic extensively with AT&T/Spectrum and that seems to be the fastest that location is able to get. Is the building at fault for slow wifi, maybe not, but a con nonetheless. While the rent prices are reasonably affordable, the building/garage feels fairly safe, and the roof/pool is beautiful (when open). None of it is worth the headaches that accompany. I am glad to be out of here.If anyone has any questions regarding the living situation, I’m happy to answer questions.
Peace Nlekwuwa: The worst apartment I've ever seen, the parking for visitors was terrible. I got to the front of the building and could not enter, I struggled with the door while the staff at the reception just looked at me, thankfully the staff that was to show me the place came to my rescue. The lobby and entire building was extremely hot. The pictures online did not match the apartment at all, the apartment was completely outdated and uncomfortable, the bedroom didn’t even have a closet. There was barely any storage space. The only positive was that the staff that showed me the apartment.
Katherine Perry: The apartments are small over priced and poorly managed. My daughter move in date was changed multiple times. When she finally moved in the apartment was dirty like someone moved out that day. The garbage disposal did not work neither did the air or heat. Put in the work order two weeks still not fixed. Not to mention property managers are rude and disrespectful to add insult to injury. The only reason I gave 1 star is for the roof top pool. Save your money keep looking for a better place!!!
Kay K: It’s a terrible place to live. Without my authorization, the staff here tossed away my goods. When I returned, I was told that the items will be thrown away in 2 hours!! When you lose your key, it costs $145 to replace it, while you can get a copy from Home Depot by 3 bucks. But when you are trying to ask help from them, it took forever for them to get back to you. I was stuck in a room without wifi for more than 2 weeks, because the apartment management here never replied your email. I will not renew the lease here after living half year. Also they never told me these policies or never replied my emails, but imposed fines on your account in a second. Here is a recent update:I had an extremely disappointing experience with this apartment complex. Not only did unknown individuals freely enter the building, posing a safety risk to all residents, but the management team showed no accountability for their mistake and failed to apologize for the security breach. Additionally, I received fines on my account for leaving what I believed to be personal belongings in the business center. The management failed to communicate that leaving personal items in the center was considered trash, and I was not notified that fines would be imposed. When I tried to address these issues, the front desk employee who authorized the unauthorized individuals to enter the building was not held accountable. I do not feel safe living in this environment and would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Please think twice before considering this apartment.
ROHIT BHUSARI: Very bad experience with the leasing, they will be asking for too much extra information for leasing an apartment that is not even required, They will trouble you the best they can while leasing an apartment, and will not rent here again.
Irfan Ishak: The building itself is great. But the management here is a joke! Not professional. Brittany the property manager never at her desk. They’re not here to help. They will blame you for everything even they are the one who gave you troubles. I signed the lease and it was a mistake and I’m leaving. What a joke management.
TONYA NATURALLYNATURAL: Linda Stephens is a liar and she works for their company, they just want your application fee and admin fee, they make it seem like they can get you in the perfect apartment but it’s all A LIE.. DONT TRUST THEM, DONT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!
Tay N Tonya: Where do I start, we spoke with Linda Stephens, who clearly doesn’t know what her job description is. We called to inquire about a studio apartment she made us think she was gonna get us in, told us she would do everything in her power to get us the apartment we want… LIESSSSS. They just want your application fee and the admin fee, save your money and go to Gentry down the street. These people are loser and hungry for money, DONT RENT WITH THEM..
Brittany Leffler: You have no control over the temperature of your own apt. You have almost no contact with a human ever and have to do almost everything via the computer ever since they were bought out by a corporation. They nitpick everything. You are only given one keyfob to get in and out of the building as well as only one key to get into your apt… and if you lose either it’s expensive to replace. The free laundry, price ranges and security are about the only positive things about this apartment complex.
jordan vaughn: Had a few problems along the way but not enough to go lower than 4 stars, Any wrongs were always righted and Brittany does a good job running things. Nice apartments and a cool maintenance team as well.
Toni Tee: Absolutely awful communication, They will never answer the phone. Would not recommend.
Jose Murillo: Absolutely awful communication, They will never answer the phone. An email reply will take a week, on top that once you try to move it they make it impossible due to Brittany taking a vacation every other month and the employees being hired and quitting after being asked to do stuff they weren’t trained to do. Would not recommend.
nakell hawkins: It’s unprofessional, the building is beautiful but the staff needs a lot of work. I understand it’s hard to find good help but this is just sad. I feel like if u work at a job for years you should know your job. And smile because you could give the wrong energy or attitude to the RIGHT person and it’s so many outcomes that could happen. No threat I like the courthouse you know ? But soon I’ll be reaching out to the owners or I’ll pay a lawyer to reach out . I’m very nice nd friendly so WHY BE WIERD nd HAVE A ATTITUDE smile boo life is great well mine is
Rubab R: Never gave us back our security deposit and everything was left spotless. They simply just stopped communicating once we returned our keys.
Christopher Lawrence: I lived here for a few months when I had a previous housing situation fall through and really needed a place to live. Family members from out of state were helping me look for housing so I didn’t become unhoused. Found Mansion House and was toured by Keyana. First off, she misquoted by $1,000 for a 1b/1b furnished unit, even after clarifying cause I thought the price sounded low. Then proceeded to tell me that my application was denied because I didn’t meet the income requirements (which I would have if she didn’t misquote me), and only admitted she misquoted me after clarifying the income requirement (2.5x). Eventually got a unfurnished unit cause I really needed somewhere to live. After I moved in I was told I owed an extra $100 in rent that was NOT included in the lease for a ‘short term fee’. Keyana initially couldn’t explain the fee cause it wasn’t in the lease, she had me talk to her manager who tried to brush it off as a mistake and said that they told my mom (who was helping me find housing options). She was also told that she wasn’t entitled to details of my lease because my name was the only name on the lease. The manager then proceed to threaten to “take me to collections and ruin my credit” if I continued to refuse to pay an additional $100/month that was not included in the lease. Also be mindful that when you sign the lease you acknowledge that they told you about the lead and asbestos in the building (which Keyana never actually explicitly did). These people are true scum. DON’T RENT FROM THEM!!!
Eastside Huncho: Please do not rent here, I’m currently getting ready to sue. They have no common sense or knowledge about the law, they hold grudges for mistakes they made and if another resident accuses you of anything even if you didn’t the office will not look at the cameras they will just assume you are guilty. I regret ever moving into this place and rather stay elsewhere.
P Mk: They are shady and unethical. Visit the Better Business Bureau for details. My experience was the tenants bully the other residents if they follow the rules. If your an honest person I'd definately not live here.
Rita Poon: Freezing Cold in the winter. Very poorly run property.
Matt Byrne: If you enjoy having no heat in the winter and no air conditioning in the summer than by all means lease from this apartment. Absolutely horrible management. You will regret living here.
nancy treu: My son lives in St. Louis. He moved there for his first job right out of college. He toured some apartments and we went with him. Valerie was so helpful in helping him make his choice. He chose Mansion house and has been very happy with it. He says it's run well and he loves the location. It's 3 blocks from his job and with the metro access to the train station, airport and Uber when he needs it he doesn't even need a car. He will be moving up from a one bedroom to a two in the next few months and he plans to stay at Mansion House. Great job Valerie and your team!
d feinstein: Ms. Valerie is the sweetest! Great place to live and in the heart of downtown! Great view and caring maintenance. Definitely a great experience living here!!!!

The Residences at Forest Park: what do users think?
Benjamin Barmaan: Have been living here for nearly two years. I love the apartment complex and the staff here are extremely nice, helpful, and welcoming. The building comes with nice amenities. Most people who live here work at Barnes. The rent is pretty reasonable for the area and the units are really nice. Highly recommend this place.
Graham Steffaniak: As I write this the fire alarm is going off for the 50th time (not exaggerating) . It has gone off in the middle of the night. multiple times a day.
John Noel: Best place to live in the CWE. Great location, right by the park, nice apartments with great shared amenities and two courtyards. Walking distance to the park and many good restaurants, as well as the big medical center. The staff is excellent, building is always clean, maintenance is taken care of promptly, and any issues are responded to quickly and fixed without having to ask twice. Highly recommend!
Chris Smith: Beautiful building with helpful and kind staff. Melissa is an absolute doll. Really love the dog park, the old hotel feel and the new coffee machine. One the best managed properties in the CWE.
Erica Barnell: I have lived at the Residences for 5+ years and prior to 2019, I would have given this location 5-stars. HOWEVER, new management took over this apartment complex in 2019. Since then, I have had my car broken into, I had barely any heat for the entire winter with heating bills $400 / month because of a broken furnace, many of my appliances broke and went unfixed for months, there is always dog poop on the floor, a homeless person LIVED in the lobby for over a week because the management refuses to pay for proper security, they front desk refuses to do their job (like sign for packages) and are often rude and difficult to deal with if you have problems. I do not recommend living here...
Angela Vitale: Even during this pandemic I don’t regret living here with most businesses closed. The building is lovely, my apartment is full of light with many large windows and walking around the neighborhood is still an interesting treat. Forest Park, a block away, has everything and much, much more than I could ever ask for in a park!
mary moebius: Ouch! Accustomed to only doing positive reviews online, I had to make an exception here. Our daughter lived her for 4 years with an initial wonderful, conscientious, friendly, accommodating crew at the front desk, and quick and thorough maintenance response time. However, there was then a rapid turnover of staff, policy until final check- out and move mid-May. The new manager had absolutely no desire to help, to find out answers to questions and was totally inept with everything from trying to figure out how to take payment from our guests who rented the guest apartment to using the service elevator for the moving company to the "walk through" upon move-out demanding repairs and cleaning that had pre-dated the move in, were normal wear and tear resulting in the security deposit not being returned. Quickly turning contentious, it seemed better to forewarn others who might be considering a move to the building. There are many other options in this lovely area.
cheerharan thakur: Just moved into this wonderful old world building with all its modern amenities. Want to thank Samantha who went out of her way to make the whole move in experience totally painless.
Diane Greble: I love living here. The front office staff, Naomi and Jen, are friendly, helpful and have contributed to a terrific stay since August. The fenced in dog park is so convenient for these cold, snowy days, and there are even treats for the dogs when they come in. The building is clean and well-maintained with lots of storage and a great gym. You walk into the front lobby and you feel like you are in the Plaza Hotel in New York. It's a real classy place and you'll be happy if you make the move.
Shirley Saylor: The property office is super helpful and friendly. The facility of the place is very good. I love here and will keep living here.
Malena Plut: Living at Forest Park Hotel is like living in heaven! Not only is the location right in the heart of the Central West End, but the glamor of the building is unbelievable. They also give free champagne on tours when you see the property!!!
Cheryl Immethun: Beware. This property was sold last year. The management has been unfriendly and services have declined since I moved in 2 years ago. To top it off, they are raising rent $200 a month, they did not notify us in advance, and current residents will not have any improvements made to their units.

Del Coronado Apartments: what do users think?
PAZY: There are a variety of additional charges, around $80/month. (Amenity, Billing fee, Renter insurance, Waters)Covered parking is $150 a month, and it's not even gated. Anyone can come in and break your window and drive away.
Heer Singh: great location, quick maintenance. young crowd in the building. the non-renovated apartments are a bit outdated.
Eerie edcee: Lots of cockroaches. Every other resident I know has the same problem.
Sushil Thomas: Great place to live in
Vasanth Kuppuswamy: I am a current resident here and have lived here for 2 years. Overall, it is a good place to live. The office staff are friendly and helpful and the amenities are well-maintained and clean. It is within walking distance to Forest Park, Whole Foods, tons of restaurants in the CWE, and if you work at Barnes/WUSM, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to anywhere on campus. Lots of medical students and residents live in the building. As of late, however, remodeling within the building has created a lot of disruptions. The elevators are being renovated right now, and in all honestly, the elevators are a big problem here. You frequently spend a lot of time waiting for them and they can at times be very slow. I have given up waiting on occasion and walked upstairs to my apartment on the 12th floor. During the day, there is a lot of drilling and hammering that occurs, which is audible within my apartment, which is near the elevator shaft. It would be fine if you aren't going to be here during the day, but for those who work/study from home or who are like me and work a lot overnight (and therefore need to sleep during the day), this has caused a lot of trouble. An internal email sent out to the residents seems to indicate that this work will be going on for several more months, so if you more here, be prepared for that!
Ryland Wemlinger: Moved in beginning of February and the apartments have a ton of natural light and a lot of closet space. The public spaces are maintained and cleaned regularly and everyone I dealt with from the leasing office to the front desk is super pleasant to work with. When I had my showing, Nick was amazing. He was able to show me a range of apartments and was super knowledgeable and helped. He also helped with the application process all the way through. I would recommend you take a look at this place if you’re looking for an apartment.
Jeremy Green: I lived here for two years and really loved it, only reason I am leaving is for a job cross the country. For starters the location is amazing, everything you could need is in walking distance. It is also right across the street from Forrest Park and under a block from Whole Foods. The staff is on-site, readily available, and they are all amazing. The front desk staff (Wayne, Shay, Paul, and Dave) have become like a second family to me and I will miss them all. Packages are always safely stored and checked in. Maintenance is quick, efficient, and friendly. One time my dishwasher leaked, the next day I had a brand new one. There are numerous options for parking including a garage, surface lot, and uncovered garage spaces. The property manager Kris is willing to work with any resident to meet their needs, no matter what the situation she always is in a good mood and that really means a lot. The price point for the area is the best part. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe area in STL city with access to tons of amenities.I lived in a one bed not updated apartment and it was good for what I needed. I had a beautiful view of the CWE. I never had any noise issues with surrounding neighbors. Trash shoot and laundry were on the same floor and super convenient. The machines were always in operation and never were down. Utilities are cheap, average electric in winter was around 30.00 and a little higher in the summers. There is a gym and lounge on the second floor. The gym has the basics for a good workout if you are in a time crunch or just in need of some cardio. There is bike storage in the basement. Hopefully post pandemic a lot of the CWE businesses that closed will turn into new businesses that residents can enjoy. All in all if you are looking for an apartment in STL especially the Central West End and you aren't a Rockafeller then I highly recommend giving Del Coronado a chance.
Ben Richards: The apartments are well maintained and comfortable. We opted to save money and live in one of the less expensive 2 bedroom apartments and were very happy with the spacious living room and bedrooms. Staff is excellent and very responsive. Maintenance requests are quick and easy when required. Overall, I was very happy to call these apartments home for a year.
Sathvik Palakurty: When calculating the monthly cost, take into account the parking, utilities, and "lease administration" fee.
Alex Lanty: This was by far the best place I have ever lived. The management does everything they can do ensure you have the easiest time moving in, living there and moving out. I would recommend living here to literally anyone and everyone. I cannot thank them enough for being so amazing.
Jennifer Adams: Visited recently to complete a job for friends. The building is clean, in a great, walkable location and the apartments are really decent.
Roseane dos Reis: Great Apartments
Rachel Schaffer: My fiancé and I have had the pleasure to be residents of Delco for 7.5 years now. We have lived in both a one bedroom and now a two bedroom, which should give you a good idea of how much we enjoy the building. When I needed space for an office we looked at other buildings for a larger apartment but we never found anything to make it worth moving. When making that decision it ultimately came down to the fact that at Delco we had everything we needed, we could move into a renovated apartment (these are goegeous) but we elected to save the money and moved into a slightly updated apartment where we could have new appliances, but not the open kitchen/hardwood floors that come with the renovated apartments. The second item after space and updated appliances, was that at Delco we can always guarantee peace and quiet. Sometimes there is a bit of music from a neighbor but it really has to be cranked up to bug anyone, something very important since my fiancé often works night shifts. Even with the renovations we are hardly bothered. After being a property manager for a couple years elsewhere, I knew a quiet space was not always a sure thing. Lastly the staff at Delco is always amazing. When items need maintenance, Darrell, the maintenance man, is always kind enough to schedule around my fiance's sleep schedule and ensures our kitties don't get in out, and even lets them watch! Kent is the other Maintenence man, and never fails to make us laugh and check how we are every time we see him. Cassie and Lee in the office are always helpful, even if it's a silly favor like checking in on a sick kitty while we are away. And finally the front door is always manned by a super team. Just a couple have been here they entire time we have, Wayne always has a local news update, and Paul our favorite grizzly bear of sorts, never lets a soul by he doesn't recognize or see get buzzed in. In an area where we do get some sketchy figures at time, it is most appreciated.Really our only complaint of nearly 8 years is extremely minor and more of a life realization. Sadly now that we know we will be moving, for a job, we are looking forward to an apartment/ home with a washer and dryer in the apartment. We have never had any problems finding a free washer/dryer at Delco, we just are at an age where we don't want to walk down the hall or go get quarters! With that we highly recommend Delco for a quiet roomy space, and dependable and nice staff.
Brent Ripperger: I have lived a Del Coronado for nearly a year now, and I really would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment in the Central West End. For me, I like that I'm within walking distance to the best areas in CWE (and the best restaurants and bars). Also, I really enjoy the lounge they have. I mostly use the pool table, but occasionally I'll watch a football game considering I don't have cable. I have a 2 bedroom apartment. Del Coronado replaced all the carpet before I moved in which was extremely helpful, plus they are dog friendly! I got a little puppy within a few months of moving in, and Cassie was great with adjusting my lease. Del Coronado is great with responding to maintenance issues. One time my A/C went out in the summer, and the on-site maintenance team fixed it within 8 hours. Check out Del Coronado if you're looking for an apartment, and put me on your referral list if I was able to help the decision!
