Robin Daniels: We were looking for something different and found it at Down Home Elegance. They do mostly carry out, but they did let us and some others eat in. The food was very good. The turkey ribs were smoked, and they were 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥, yes, I said turkey ribs. Go ask em were the rib comes from, and they'll tell you. The wing was baked, but it was good. The Yams were cooked perfectly. I would have liked a little more flavor in my greens, but they are not using any pork in them, for you all that don't eat pork. The cornbread dressing was just that, nothing super special. The food is good and satisfying, and I would recommend them as a go-to because we will go again. Also, I had a piece of Carrot Cake, of course, I ate it no picture. Give them a try if you ate ever in North St. Louis off I270, just before crossing back into Illinois. Very nice people, which is as important as the food.

Carlotta Sargent: The service was good but I had to wait on fish because they cook it to order so there were 5 orders of fish two before me an two behind me. So my fish came up after the peoples behind me I checked my order and my order wasn't complete I had to request the rest of my food and I was given a dessert for waiting so long. I asked for BBQ sauce on the side which I didn't get so the food was fair for my first time being there but it will be a long time before I go back.Wheelchair accessibility: It's acceptable in a wheelchair.

Uniquely Different: Have gone 6 Sundays so far and have not been disappointed once. Deanda Lilly: Ms. Sherry is such a nice lady, that's why I feel bad about leaving this review. Let's start on more positive the chicken wings were tasty as well as smothered potatoes. However I ordered meatloaf and it had no taste but what was disturbing is they drizzled ketchup on the whole meatloaf as if it was a burger🤦🏾. The Mac n cheese wasn't baked and had no taste like bland the noodles were mushy, greens n hamhocks was so salty I couldn't consume. Lemon cake was good my husband loved it. I believe in 2nd chances so I will support again, but hopefully some recipe changes may have been applied. God bless your business🙏🏾
non2002us: Great Soul Food, all the greats like my grands and mom used to make, and now I can cook it, but these guys do an awesome job of it. They were very friendly with fair prices, if you get the chance, I highly suggest that you get by there and check them out.

Henry Menzel: Noodles is one of the more underrated chain restaurants in the country. I travel for work, and anytime there is one in the city that I’m working in, I’m very pleased and will always go. I hope it's a one-time thing. We were going to dine in but opted to take out because of the smell -- and it was tough to wait the 10m.
