The Fontaine: what do users think?
Andy Parker: We used the Fontaine to host multiple corporate training events. Beyond just being a great hotel, the AV crew was phenomenal! Great support, very professional.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
LaToya Garcia: Terrible experience at this hotel and pool! My daughters were assaulted by a group including a male physically pushing my daughter. The management DID NOT handle it properly! They did NOT call the police on the aggressors AND they put my girls in a back room as the aggressors continued to yell racial slurs at my kids. They told the aggressors to leave but before they left the management allowed them to VIDEO my girls while they laid out by the pool. Our girls called the police NOT the hotel management or staff! When I arrived the male manager had a smirk on his face the whole time and wouldn’t give me his card or name/info instead he told another employee to get her card, he was completely useless. This hotel is not safe for young women!
Luis Leon: Too little and super slow service.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brett Gaines: Nikki and Travis made this a great day. They were on top of keeping the drinks flowing. Thanks for making this a great dayNoteworthy details: Nikki and Travis were some top notch servers

Sherry Jacobs: Lakota sure went out of his way to provide high quality services! He helped make our mother daughter trip very special. Thank you!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Charlotte Kovacs: Lakota is a true asset to your business. He drove us places, was very friendly, gave us great suggestions on restaurants in the area, and even helped us carry our luggage down from the room. We were on a mother- daughter get away. Lakota made sure we were taken care of and he was very professional at all times.Rooms: Great room!
mswenna74: When I first walked in I was pleased with the environment, however I was taken when I entered the pool area, being the only black female other than a few employees. And noticed silence as I entered and walk to be seated, feeling should I go or I stay but then I decided to adjust to an environment that first seemed, public or invite only if you no what I mean, the salad and wine was great would I go back yes I would, why cause this is AMERICA and we are ONE,Food & drinks: Great
Isabelle Myzer: I didn't rent a room, so I can't really say how the rooms were. However I did dine at the 9210 and the service was AMAZING! Our waitress Nikki was incredibly nice and funny! She took a picture of my friends and I and hilariously took a self y! The restaurant is also incredibly nice with a great view! Will be back!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

Jimmy Shelton: Overall, it was a great experience, rooms are clean beds comfortable. The only thing that was disappointing was the restaurant. the wait staff at the bar were not very attentive. We had to go out of our way to get their attention, overall not great at the bar and restaurant, lobby staff while checking in were great. The coffee bar in the morning is cool but not complementar, we ate breakfast elsewhere.
Rachel Jackson: Pros:- nice lobby area and outdoor seating area- very polite and friendly staff who were attentive to our needs- location is convenient if you plan to go the country club plazaCons:- the lampshade on the main lamp in our room was obviously broken and kept falling off the stand- the entire place feels dirty; the hallway and room carpets were visibly dirty and stained- the fitness center has very limited equipment and was missing many of the items featured in the photos- there were no USB ports for charging items; the iHome provided was very outdated and broken- some of the outlets in our room would not hold the electric plug and were not functional- the rainfall shower was barely dripping and had horrible water pressure- we tried to use the rooftop pool but it was very crowded; the pool area is very small and they allow non-hotel guests to use it so there is limited room for hotel guests- I was supposed to receive my receipt via email but it never arrivedThe entire place needs to be updated to current technology and functioning. It feels like a hotel with amenities from 2010. The staff were the only saving grace.
Brooke Sanders: Rooms: We arrived at 6 pm and found the carpet wet in our room. GROSS / is it a leak ? Is it sewage ? We were assured it would be taken care of - 3 hours later - nothing ! And the front desk told us to go find Cassie at the bar ! She told us she didn’t have time to check her email bc she has a luau going on? And told me to stop talking . Worst customer service ever .
Mason (cmd-space): Keito and the rest of the team were great!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ashley Millang: Over the top customer service! All employees were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay.Walkability: Right on the plaza- great location!
Arnetia Nelson: Great location and the staff is great and friendly. Room wasDirty, carpet in the room in front of the bed was nasty, the lamps were malfunctioning flickering off and on I’m assuming that’s why they were unplugged. Booked room for two guest only one set of towels were in the room.Hallway floors were filthy. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Local KCFoodie: This is hands down the nicest hotel in Kansas City. We unfortunately do not have a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons type of hotels in KC, this finally makes up for it. This place is so modern, wonderful staff, and the nicest rooms. Highly suggest staying here on your visit! The rooftop bar is the best in KC.Rooms: Best room in KCWalkability: So close to everything downtownFood & drinks: Rooftop bar has it all, but the main bar is even prettier
Zachary Antilley: This hotel is very nice, centrally located with an easy access garage for self-parking. My only complaint is the overpowering fragrance being pumped in to the lobby. Sadly we were underwhelmed by the room service offerings, the listing said there were three restaurants on site so we expected more selections.Food & drinks: Don't plan on eating more than one meal on-premise, there isn't much to choose from.
Christi Heffner: Beautiful hotel right in downtown. Was there for a business meeting and it was a great event.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

Shelby Cummings: The Loews City Hotel was immaculate. It's centrally located, clean, upscale and the staff is amazing. Check in was speedy. My room was beautiful, clean and very room. I would highly recommend staying here.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Pat Lehnherr: An excellent lodging choice if you can get in for a reasonable price. Guest seems to horde the carts around checkout time but that's the case with nearly all hotels. Choose to park yourself rather than use the valet, it's much quicker, particularly around checkout time. The bar on the 7th floor has good eats, a nice sunset view, and GREAT service. We'll be back.
Mindy Banister: It’s big and nice and brand new and beautiful - yes. The beds were excellent and comfie, rooms very clean. We had a corner with floor to ceiling windows on the 17th floor, loved the views. Room service is just ok - and that makes a big difference to us! Parking garage easy. Quiet. We would likely go back ….
Monica Cashmere': One of the best hotels in Kansas City. I stay here often .. great for pics !! Service is always top tier as wellWalkability: Downtown and in walking distance to a lot of local attractions
Chris Browning: Clean, modern, upscale and safe. Great venue for business events.
Andy Weninger: Restaurant hours were weird in the hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Arielle Ehrlich: The hotel is very nice. It’s brand new, and it has all the modern amenities you’d expect. The beds are comfortable, the shower is very nice, and my room even had a small couch in it, so I didn’t have to sit on the bed the whole time.Food options for conference meals were fine, but nothing spectacular. The only hiccup was that the elevators were slow. There were between 1 and 3 elevators of the 8 total that were out of service at any time.

Shelly Edwards: Friendly clean and has a kitchenRooms: They are remodeling the rooms and the new hardwood floors throughout is beautifulRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Diego Bannister: They used my card to pay for other rooms (Took almost a week to get my money back and was called liar until I showed my bank statements,) all my clothes smell of cigarette smoke now since the place is stained in the smell, frequently had cops come by for disturbances (even late at night,) water was murky, FREQUENT pest spraying forcing you to lock your dog in the bathroom while away despite residents saying they saw no one come through. Their luggage cart is so busted that it is a workout to just move it a bit.Except to swipe your card to enter the room anywhere from 5 to 30 times as the locks are all broken / low on battery. Multiple health and safety violations, and overall not worth it. From reviews over the years, this apparently is the norm for this location.(Probably their response to this will be a "We will discuss with our staff" as an automated response with no change in place. So expect it to remain as it is)Rooms: Smelled of cigarette smoke despite being no smoking. Especially in the bathroom.Safety: Not very safe with constant police coming by to settle issues, and the staff stealing money to pay for others rooms.Walkability: Grounds are covered in trash as well as dog waste.
Ashley Marshall: I had to clean my room before I even put my children down. My toilet does not work properly, my remote does not work at all, when I asked for trash bags I was given an ice bucket bag and told I only get one and I do not get any bigger bags. The staircases and hallways smell horrible. They advertise a breakfast and since I've been here which is almost a week now I have only received granola bars.
Christopher Williams: It's a cool place in a cozy corner.Noteworthy details: It close to QT and Price Chopper.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Matt Simerly: Upon check-in we were told if we trash the room we won’t be invited back, which is unwelcoming to say the least. The floors were disgusting.Someone tried kicking our door in at 5am.Do yourself a favor and KEEP LOOKING for another hotel.Dangerous, Dirty

heather b: Trashy. Don't EVER stay here. Was there to pick someone up.....
D K: The place is VERY VERY dirty. A total rat-hole. I can't see ESA corporate letting this place stay open much longer with how many negative reviews have been posted. Completely falling apart. Horrible smells and carpet stains all over the hallways. The posted rate sign in my room was from 2002. Ripped furniture. The chair in my room had visible semen stains on it. Breakfast is lukewarm coffee and oatmeal.
DeMetria Looney: Shantel, the GM at this location is an angel. Not only is she professional, and knowledgeable, she's FRIENDLY!! I was highly upset about the visit I had at the Frontage rd location having roaches and an overall rude GM Brandon she reassured me that everything would be different and expressed genuine empathy. I was ready to write off this entire company. You should maybe look into seeing if she has a reference to send someone of her caliber to a roach infested rude employees (outside the night audit Sasha) at the Frontage road location. Thank you, Shantel, for taking my move from Dallas from a nightmare to an absolute pleasure.
Shawna Palomo: Bed Bugs beware.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Rhiannon N: Every time I drop off a food delivery here, the place is filthy. The doorknobs and walls need to be wiped down, and the hallways smell like urine. I don't want to touch anything at this place.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Ema Colvon: The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Let me start off by letting you know they have roaches and mice. we even had an exterminator come into our room to spray at 9am 😍😍after they told us we needed to have our rooms cleaned up because the exterminator was coming at NOON. They checked us into the wrong room and we had a man by the name of David (who seems to be very popular in these reviews for being rude to customers, but it doesn’t seem that the hotel cares to have good reviews) come into our room and go through our things and accuse of us squatting and not ONCE was a receipt EVER asked for (which I had in my purse for both the room AND the $200 deposit). Chantel is the woman i tried to confront about a GROWN MAN barging into my room (she was standing at the door with him and watched David) and to which she told me I WAS LYING. she is clearly has many issues and has decided to make working at a hotel her career of choice, so I understand why she always has a horrible attitude with PAYING CUSTOMERS. Alexandria is the staff member who put us in the wrong room and then blamed US for it (not sure how I can check myself into the wrong room). “free breakfast” is oatmeal packets. Every single room smells like weed and cigarettes and meth, even the LOBBY stinks! but you bet they accused US of smoking when they BARGED IN TO OUR ROOM. the rooms are way more expensive than they’re worth. every staff member has a horrible attitude. I WISH I took pictures of how many roaches I saw. I will never come here or stay at this chain of hotels. disgusting isn’t even a word strong enough to describe my experience.

The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center: what do users think?
Kaylynn Mesher: This place was beyond my expectations. The Skywalk was convenient. The War exhibit was worth the walk up the stairs. (Found the elevator after my co driver and I made the walk to the top. ) the mall in the hotel is perfect for a stroll. A Starbucks and the water fall in the lobby area is a nice place to just sit a relaxRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet …More
Matt: Good location for people with young kids. Easy access to Legoland, science City, the aquarium, etc.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Kenneth Zhang: This place still auto charges you for internet… what’s up with that? Also since I’m using marriott points there is a crazy “redemption fee” of $52, never heard of that one beforeRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Whitney Smith: This is a nice hotel in the heart of KC. Great location for what we needed (attending Boulevardia). Check in took quite a while, and they weren’t sure if our room had a Murphy bed or not. It didn’t, and when we went back to the check in to get a different room, the line was even longer. So, we requested a roll-away bed that was delivered promptly. The phone in the room had been left off the charger, so we weren’t able to call the front desk to request new towels and had to walk back downstairs. It did work once it had charged, though. The main issue was the cockroach that came scuttling across the bathroom the next morning, so I sure hope I didn’t bring any home in my suitcase.
stephanie Anderson: This hotel is in a very central location. We had a very late check in and unfortunately we had some issues with our room. Tammy was amazing and not only found us another room, she kindly upgraded us. What a nice surprise. It really meant a lot to this tired mama. Thanks for a great stay.Walkability: Across the street from the union station, WWI museum, and the cable car. Attached to a mall with shops and food choices.
Luke Freeman: Nice Westin in downtown Kansas City. Easy to access, amble parking, hood rooms and accommodations and helpful staff.Hotel is connected to the Crown Center which provides ample shops and stores that make the stay more inviting and friendly.Easy access to sites adjacent to the area.
the review person: The hotel was nice and so were the staff my only problem was the tv had no streaming serviceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
Jean Michael: Have stayed here for years.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Gary Ma: Beautiful forested upper lobby. Rooms, however, seems old and a bit worn out. There must be nicer rooms somewhere in the hotel because celebrities such as Finn Wolfhard were staying there when I was there.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Jonathan Westerdale: We stayed for two nights and were splurging because we don’t get out of town for pleasure very often and Westin has a great reputation. Overall, I was far from impressed for what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, I travel a lot for work and I’ve stayed in far nicer 3-star hotels. The amenities that put it over the edge to get to 4 stars (I assume) are the pool, nice lobby area, location, and gym. However, everythingthat actually matters like cleanliness, room design, shower water pressure, the mattress, parking, customer service, and even air conditioning control leave a lot to be desired. In our room were dirty towels and, honestly, few towels. Our counter was dirty and the shower had hair in it. In the bathroom also, the shower design is so odd, not really allowing for full water pressure from either shower head. The windows do not open and I thought there was a balcony, but there’s just a strange railing outside the window for some reason. I’m willing to forgive the bed, but for the price of the hotel (not even including the $25/day parking), I was expecting more. Again, this is supposed to be 4 stars in the center of the city. We woke up sweating bc of the lack of control of the air conditioning control and customer service was not very helpful. On that note, when asked at checkout how our stay was, I stated “fine, but not ideal, if I’m being honest” and the front desk attendant didn’t inquire how to make the stay better for others.I almost forgot to mention the terrible elevator situation. We had to plan out time in our travel time to get down or up the elevator, going down or up could, no joke, be a 10 or 15 minute affair. There weren’t any roaches or anything outrageous, but for the money paid and Westin’s reputation, I’d rather find a boutique hotel or something along those lines that might be closer to the things we actually wanted to see.
Zach Tetuan: Absolutely garbage hotel. I pre-booked the room through a 3rd party site that I use for all my bookings. When I arrived, just like any hotel, I swiped my credit card for incidentals. They proceeded to charge my credit card 4 separate times for a total of $500. For what? I have no idea. I called the front desk and they were no help saying the charges were a mistake but I needed to talk to my credit card company to fix them. So I called and had the charged disputed. It was removed for a month only to be put back on after the hotel apparently responded back to the credit card company saying services were rendered for the charge. They most definitely were not. I pre-paid for the room and paid separately for parking. There was no reason to be charged the additional $500. Now I am in the painful process of responding back and forth with my credit card company. So if you value your money, look elsewhere for a hotel.

Scott Lawrence: Good hotel on the plaza that has on site parking garage for extra cost but walking distance to everything in plaza. Second time here and will stay againRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nicole Jones-Quinton: Rooms: Decent rooms. Had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, and my dog was welcome. They served breakfast, but my work hours caused me to miss their breakfast.Nearby activities: Museums, Plaza shopping, and restaurants.Walkability: In the midst of the plaza.
Dwayne Maurer: Great service, amenities and breakfast at this hotel. Huge shout out to Heather, Guest Services Manager. Heather went above and beyond on a request after I checked out! Awesome staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Austin Martin: The hotel is ok, more of 3.5-4 stars. Clearly not super updated but this is an economical option for the area. The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Parking is a bit odd but there. Overall this isn’t a bad option for the area especially if you are trying to stay for an extended period of time. There are nicer options but they are more hotel life less apartment long term life.
Kecia W: Very nice hotel. Overall it was a front desk rep by the name of Rockey that’s he said his name was he was very nasty rude unhappy unprofessional and mean. My Dad came down stairs to let me in and he accidentally left his key he did not want to let us in he was so nasty about it and body movement was terrible he told my dad you need to have your key next time cause I won’t be letting you back in just nasty!! I hope my dad never comes across again my dad isn’t a pushy man and just ignored him he was terrible and needs a new job
Blaine Kaiser: You are definitely paying for location with this property. I have had way nicer rooms for half the price, they just aren't right next to such great shopping and restaurants.-The staff who checked us in was very friendly and helpful-Breakfast was your standard free breakfast, but the dining room was very nice.-Our room has an outside entrance, similar to an apartment building. So to get to the main lobby, vending or breakfast, it's a bit of a trek, especially when it's 24° outside.-Walls are paper thin, the people above us left their dog behind who barked nonstop and left the tv on and turned way up to try and drown out the dog noise.-Room was clean, but dated.-Bed was hard as a rock, so if you like an ultra firm bed, this is the place for you.-Parking garage holds about 20 cars, be prepared to find street parking
Douglas Ruiz: I had a great experienceRooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Brian W: Great location if you want to do some shopping right next to the plaza. Literally a one or two minute walk. Apartment style hotel room. If you’re not in the main building, you will be expected to carry luggage up the stairway. Lots of reviews about the odor, I could smell it but wasn’t the end of the world. For 250 bucks a night I would expect a little more higher end room quality but with the location what do you expect. The breakfast was very good!
Torrie (IamCodetorr): Pros: Good location, free breakfast, free parking, safe, plenty of options to eat and shop nearby and friendly customer service. Loved having the option to have an outside entrance to access my room. Room was spacious, clean, no bed bugs, smart TV, and all the utensils needed to have an extended stay.Cons: lack of good hot options for breakfast (they did have fruit, cooked eggs, sliced ham or Canadian bacon, bagels/toast, coffee, Juices and there was some undercooked oatmeal).
Anthony Wheeler: Exceptional service & roomRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
rasul Brown: Food & drinks: Bomb breakfastRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic …More
Dan Houlihan: Enjoyed my stay. Close to everything I wanted. Great breakfast too.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Steve Ressler (Steve): Good breakfast...okay room...surrounded by construction projects...Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Bryan McMorrow: I stayed here for two weeks on a work trip and I have some opinions.1. Not all of the rooms are in the main building. I was in a room in the annex, that was reminiscent of a cheap apartment building. It had no elevator, so I had to drag 2 weeks of clothes up a staircase.2. It smelled like wet dog in the stairwell and in the room. I had to spray a lot of deodorant to get rid of it.3. The roof had spots that were cracking, the wallpaper was peeling, the air vents were filthy, and the floor had soft spots that I was fearful to walk on.4. At times there was no one at the desk. I had to wait a few times for someone to come to the desk.I’m giving it 2 stars for its location.

Andrea R: The girls at the front desk were extremely nice, honestly, the only good thing I have to say about my stay. Alexa Smith: Words can not express how appreciative I am of the front desk service I received from Meg this morning (Thursday, March 23, 2023). I approached the front desk at 10:40am to beg for a late check out— mind you check out is at 11:00am. It’s tournament season and we missed our opportunity to extend our stay last week. I explained that we have another room at the Extended Stay America at the south location but wouldn’t be able to check in until 1:30pm at the very earliest. She offered to extend a late check out and in the same breath notified me that she had a cancellation on the books and that our stay could be extended. I was worried that we had already paid for our stay down south and before I knew it she pulled up our reservation and let me know that it was indeed book but I had not been charged just yet. Knowing that the room could be booked any second through an online reservation I raced back to the room to briefly discuss with my husband. We sped walked back to Meg at the front desk, we turned in our old room keys, paid our bill and as we were leaving she even offered to contact the south location to cancel our reservation for us. My husband had already taken care of it while I was paying— a detail that did not go unnoticed. Thank you for caring. Thank you for making my day easier.
Robin Arcus: Friendly staff. Needed a deep clean. Great 24/7 coffee.

Jourdan Brown: This will be your car if you stay here. They didn’t even bother to help, just said our cameras didn’t show anything. I had to miss work and I was on emergency heart attack call! I am confident that one of the hotel employees was involved in what I am told took two hours to trash my car, break the windows, steal my stuff. I will be inviting my people to help with this. Luna Lowery: Beware of bed bugs, my partner and I got chewed up and we were absolutely covered in itchy bites after being in our first room for two nights. The staff were kind at first, but they were not after we complained of bed bugs. They offered to pay to wash our clothes, but after a load or two they were so rude I just paid for the rest myself rather than interact with them.Don't expect house keeping, we were at this location for 2 weeks and our room was only cleaned once after we had been there a week and a half.

Kimberly Martinez: The rooms were clean, great amenities, and comfortable. Hotel staff were always friendly and informative. The location is perfect for a walking tour of the plazaGreat restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance. Mimo from the bar was absolutely amazing! Funny, great service, amazing cocktails, etc. He made the experience worth coming back for.
Agnel Ingalls: I’m extremely disappointed in an experience I had at this Hilton. I’ve been staying at this hotel for 2 days for work and I went to the front desk to ask for a bottle of water (I’m a diamond member) and The first thing out of this front desk person was “ did you just come off the streets” mind you I’m wearing a company shirt and black pants and came from the elevator. Really disappointed in his choice of words after realizing that I was staying there he tried to cover it up and saying nice things and proceeded to give me a bottle of water. I stay at Hilton properties every time I travel and sad to have had this experience.First thing to come out of your mouth when approached by a guest shouldn’t be “did you come off the streets”. I was clean with no paint holes or anything on my body. I shouldn’t have received that treatment.
Christie: Great place on the Plaza.

The bed and futon were very comfortable, our room had a nice view of the area, they have private, underground parking, and despite being packed, it was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was also incredibly kind and friendly - we had a long conversation with the receptionist about a shared interest, shout out to Robert!Overall an incredibly pleasant experience, we will definitely return.

The Kansas City Room at 28 Event Space: what do users think?
Brent Lager: My new wife and I simply can not say enough amazing things about Mackenzie, Taylor and the entire staff at 28 Event Space. We had a big wedding (near 250) and they made it so easy and stress free for us. They were flexible, honest and just gave off the best energy throughout the entire process. From the day we toured to the moment we left the day after the wedding, they were great to us. And the space is absolutely perfect for every phase of the wedding experience. We'd absolutely love it, and would recommend them for whatever your needs are. Great people, great place, great experience!
FUTURE T WOOTEN: Very nice place to rent to use for an event! We had our Elite Superfans event there during the 2023 nfl draft in Kansas City
David M White: Great Draft Party! So much fun! Just watching all the different attired people.
Lyndsee Johnson: I toured 6 venues and could not find a better event space in the KC metro than 28 Event Space. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and extremely easy to work with. I think I asked them hundreds of questions leading up to our big day, to which they were immediately responsive, attentive, and extremely helpful. The bartenders included in our package were awesome and went above and beyond as they were willing to make all of our old fashioned's for our signature drink for our pup ("Otis Fashioned")! The Station was everything we had wished and hoped for - I would recommend to any couple looking for a place for their dream wedding! :)
Miguel ramirez: Maravilloso elegante comodo
Hunee Cwms-Graham: Beautiful! An good place to hold a wedding or any event where spending the night and showing and changing clothes is necessary
She Walker: Beautiful venue. Nice place to host any event. Food was... ok
Kelly Colston: Everything was SO perfect! Everyone was very helpful and helped make the wedding go off without a hitch! Thank you!
Jenn Burke: Great place for special events!
Andie Stitt: Absolutely the best place! We had the best wedding. The staff was awesome and so organized. I couldn’t have asked for it to be perfect. The best venue!
Kevin Glannon: A lovely place to host an event. Fun decor good space. Knocking off a star for tiny restrooms.
Jennifer Brunk: This space is very versatile and perfect for a wedding venue.
Jessie Ridenour: Great place for a wedding reception
Rose Mattingly: I got to be witness to my best friend getting hitched in this gorgeous event space. This was most definitely the BEST WEDDING I have ever been to. Hands down! It was probably the blending of these beautiful eclectic families that made it so, but the space was perfect to host such a brilliant array of beauty and love. I am so glad I got to spend so much time in here and it doubles as an Airbnb space which was absolutely amazing for the after party and the preparations for before the ceremony! Highly recommend this to any Kansas City brides to be!!!!
Alexis Nibert: I work a LOT with this venue and I can't say one negative attribute the venue or ownership has. From the first inquiry call, couples are treated like family. As a wedding planner, I can't express how important it is to work with a venue that understands the industry and wants the best for their couples. When you can trust your venue to execute your day effortlessly, you've found the right venue for you!Not to mention, this also makes it very easy for wedding vendors to work here because of the hospitality all of their employees show.I get excited every weekend I get to work here with this team!
Kim Philip: This was the absolute BEST RECEPTION SITE we could have ever imagined! It worked for every member of our family! The staff was awesome, especially the three bartenders we had, and the back rooms and bedrooms were perfect for elderly family members to relax in during the reception and for the wedding party to prep in before and after the ceremony. It was just the most perfect venue for us!!! We loved it!!!
Heather Szumierz: Venue was over all perfectly put together inside and out!
Leah Berg: I think 28 Event Space is the best value venue in downtown KC. I did extensive research on venues in downtown KC for my wedding, and no one could compete with 28 Event Space’s price for everything that is included. A few of the main selling points for me were that our rental included a DJ, party bus, bride/groom getting ready suite, overnight access, use of your own vendors, and the ability to bring your own alcohol. They are the only venue in downtown KC (to my knowledge) to offer all of this, and at an incredibly fair price. In addition to all of this, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. We went with The Station which has an elegant marble backdrop as the centerpiece of the room. Everything is so updated and modern, which is exactly what we were looking for in a venue. The managers Mackenzie and Taylor are also incredibly responsive which is a must for wedding planning. They gave me a number to text with any questions and they almost always responded within ours. We mainly worked with Taylor, and she was so flexible with all of our requests. I can’t recommend 28 Event Space enough.
Lawrence Leek: Was a groomsman for my sister's wedding. You beautiful facility, everything was laid out in a function functional manner, DJ and staff were fun, professional, and engaging
Abe Zabih: Good wedding venue
Nicolas Bradley: Incredible venue. Amazing bride and groom suites. This place has it all

Hotel Phillips Kansas City, Curio Collection by Hilton: what do users think?
Long Pham: Central to the Convention Center and Power&Light, and the KC Streetcar the location is very convenient to everything. The hotel is also next to the bus stop to the airport (229-KCI/Boardwalk) if you want an inexpensive, but slow way (fare-free for 2023) to reach the airport.Typical small rooms it seems for Curio properties, and office buildings reimagined as hotels. Room was clean, nice desk, big screen TV.Briefly visited the Diamond lounge. Had a few packaged snacks and drinks, did not take advantage.Did not test out the wifi since the area had good 5G coverage.
Andrew Kolman: Stayed here while seeing a show at the Midland so I didn't really get a chance to check out everything. I liked how they've kept the original look, even in the rooms. It felt fancy. Seemed quiet. Bed was comfy but room could have been a bit cleaner - that's my only complaint. That and they need a snack machine so there's something to eat at night, but maybe I just didn't find it.Rooms: Smaller but upscale feel to the rooms.Nearby activities: Very short walk to Midland Theater and other attractions.Noteworthy details: Parking is expensive but hotel doesn't set the garage prices. Just don't leave unless you need to because it's $20 every time you leave.
Charmell Hall: My room was small for 2 ppl, but extremely clean, great staff, great location- definitely upgrade to a larger suite if you aren’t traveling aloneRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jim Merz: Your going to spend a lot for a rundown Hotel. Had two rooms BOTH drains did not drain. The pictures are from the second room, not the first room. Front desk staff was horrible when checking in and out. When we checked out both front desk staff on their phones, never looked up. The first valet guy was awesome and the maintenance guy was nice and got us another room. The cost to what you get was to great… stay at another hotel many other options in the power and lights area.
Hakim Abdilahi: STAY AWAY!!!!!! BED BUGS & FILTHY HOTEL!!! 2star motel vibe- could never be 4star. The pictures are a complete trap to make you think this place is even close to decent. Trashy hotel, dirty rooms ( there was blood stain on the side of the bed), parking ramp nearby is tiny and unsafe. There is nothing good to say about this place.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Jeremy Chapman: We loved our stay at this historic hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, though a little small. We got to stop by the Diamond Lounge for a snack and drinks, and had a nice breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The location was in easy walking distance of the Kauffman Center, where we were in town to see a concert. Very happy with our stay here. We parked in the garage on the same block for $18 per day.
Jessica Montaño: This is a great hotel. The building is old, so some features show their age. However, rooms are updated and are beautiful.Cons: The walls have cracks and repaints. The elevator floors are kinda gross.Pros: antique features. Crown molding. Letter delivery down the elevator shaft to the lobby. Just an antique atmosphere. The shower in our room flooded the floor because the curtain doesn’t reach all the way down and water sprayed out. The shower faucet was disgustingly covered with water scum/mildew. Sink faucet and handles were loose. There’s a giant mirror across the toilet (weird lol)Every employee we interacted with was amazing.Valet service is $34/day.We booked a 1 king room and got a 2 queen. Kinda annoying but we didn’t feel like addressing it at midnight. So unsure of their resolution. Our door didn’t read our cards in the first room, and they immediately fixed the issue and didn’t make us change rooms.Rooms start on the 5th floor - goes up to 20 floors. Elevators are very small.Nearby activities: Great choices or the tram takes you to good choicesWalkability: Close to a few things downtown. Market close by, tram stop right there, Live! Is down the street and so is union station.
hopperado: Central location downtown. Miserable service levels: no one at the reception upon arrival, now Wi-Fi signal (USA, 21st century!), strange bargaining for later checkout by a bored receptionist playing with his phone.Impressive interior design, foyer in particular.Good breakfast service, yet dishes only a la carte, no coffee distributors.Noteworthy details: No Wi-Fi.
Kathryn Gifford: This hotel is beautiful! Our room was clean and had a great view of the city. We were in walking distance of multiple areas to visit. We’ll be back next time we visit KC!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More
Samantha Wilson: Gorgeous hotel with great service! Everyone was very hospitable. My only complaint is that we couldn’t find anywhere in the hotel or within walking distance to buy water/other nonalcoholic drinks or snacks. Our room style also didn’t have a fridge (not sure if any of them do) so we couldn’t save leftovers from the restaurants we went to. Vending machines or a little shop would be a nice addition!
Francis Wong: I truly loved it during my stay. Location was perfect and my room (the hotel) was super clean. It was easy to walk around the area. I could catch the city train to get around when it was close enough. otherwise, I just got in to a ride to head out further. I highly recommend this hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
J Baker: Nice atmosphere in the speakeasy. I got the impression they they didn't really want to make any special drinks that were not on their pre-made list.
VISION FOWARD MEDIA LLC.: Beautiful hotel within downtown KC! great for business meetings , R and R , and engagement photos!
Tina Robbins: Enjoyed our stay here—really neat old building that still retains its charm even with modern updates. Our room was clean, nicely and simply decorated. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom fairly spacious for its size. the staff was super friendly and helpful. Added bonus is being so close to the streetcar and other attractions. Definitely would stay here again.
Debra Hall-Koftinow: Fabulous service and accomadations.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jordan Hayden: Classic hotel reminded me of a 1920’s Style architecture.

LeasingKC: what do users think?
Jim Riley: I have been looking for a new apartment. Leasing kc puts out internet ads that are wildly inaccurate as far as price
Noneya Business: Do not move into Chadwick apartments located at 16. E 34th terrace. There is a huge cockroach infestation. The basement level also has a huge flooding problem. There is a huge mold issue in the floors and walls. Nothing was done upon multiple complaints.
Kristin Andrades: I had an inquiry about a property for rent and they responded promptly and answered my questions efficiently.
Casey Brown: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessLeslie Sloan has been my point of contact through the leasing process and she has exceeded my expectations at every turn. She’s been responsive, and so helpful in answering my questions and fulfilling requests in anticipation of my December move.
Steven Ward: Nice place
PE Johnson: Iconic part of KCMo. Most cities would have taken a wrecking ball. Like it or not, today it was high customer traffic, se real blacked owned businesses, and the mall was clean and security was visible. All stores had friendly staff, no more standing on a platform watching over customers. We made several purchasesMind you it was 3pm......
