Christina C: I purchased a Mastercare Swedish Inversion table from this location on 30-April-22. $999. My cosmetologist recommended the store and the inversion table because they allowed him to drive there every day for a week to try to table out before investing in it.The staff was educated, friendly, and helpful. They allowed me to use the table and walked me through the steps. The cost of the table was expensive, but they also were able to take my FSA medical card.I've had lower back pain for most of my life which worsened within the last 8 years. Scoliosis in my lumbar, a vertical bone spur between my L2 and L3 lumbar, stenosis, early stage spondylitis, and degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine. Oh, and inflammatory arthritis.I recently I pinched a nerve in my neck, likely a bulging disc. Sharp and burning pain into my shoulder and hardly any range of motion in my neck. Nothing was helping, including Meloxicam and Gabapentin. Physical therapist booked until June. I used the inversion table 3x for 5 minutes at a time on day one. Woke up on day 2 with zero lower back pain and at least an 80% reduction in pain in my neck. No more burning pain in my shoulder and occasional sharp pains. I doubt I'll need physical therapy now.Obviously the inversion table works and it was worth the investment. The table will save me thousands of dollars in medical bills. I'd highly recommend this store if you have spine health issues.
Kelly Etter: Went to the store to get my husband a new office chair because he’s been having a lot of back pain. The experience from looking to delivery was awesome. The salesperson was incredibly knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Even suggested removing some features to best suit his needs. Clearly they care about customer service. Delivery came a week later and was top notch as well. We also picked up some great pillows. Highly recommend this store!! Will definitely be back!

Steven Zin: Horrible Client ExperienceI am honestly not a person to leave reviews like this, but after spending so much money on a product, I cannot believe the poor level of customer service I have received. I purchased a high end massage chair from Relax the Back in Overland Park. The service/experience from them has been absolutely horrible. When they moved the chair into the house they had sent movers not prepared to do the job. The movers were upset when they were told that they needed to move the chair upstairs, which was always the case. I measured the area as I was told to measure and it fit according to what I was told to measure. They refused to move it upstairs and dropped the chair off in the wrong part of the home and simply left….The movers were very upset and showed a horrible attitude the whole time. The two people that came the next day were obviously upset that they had to be there and ill equipped to handle the job. I believe one was a manager or owner of the location. They took the sides off the chair and begrudgingly moved the chair upstairs and reassembled it. On the way up the stairs they damaged a couple of 2 story tall walls. They damaged the walls and assured me it would be handled. I had faith that when I would ask for reimbursement on this it would be handled. A few short months later I decided to sell my home. Because it was such a big deal to get this unit in I called RLB and asked for help disassembling it. When when I asked for help dismantling the chair (which I was falsely under the impression needed to be taken apart to safely make it down the stairs without damage) they refused, sent me a link to a YouTube video and told me to do it myself. Then when I asked for reimbursement of the painting cost(full 2 story ceiling height walls) they rep made the snark comment about it being 6 months later. The cost of this was $450 due to being such high walls and the entire wall needed to be painted to make sure it matched. After the gentleman that damaged the wall assured me it would be taken care of I received a snarky comment like this and resistance to pay it? Sorry I did not get to painting the home until staging it for a move. Your person/manager could have cut me a check the day of damage just as easily and been done with this…… I asked for reimbursement and I am still getting the same resistance and headache that I have dealt with from this company. The sent me a check for a 3rd of the cost and I returned it to them as I do not agree with this amount settling this. The entire wall needed to be painted to match on both walls and again they were two story walls. I have sent an invoice from a professional painter and they have simply refused. The money is not the issue, it is the principle. They stated the request went to corporate from what I am being told and this is still what I am dealing with. I am frustrated and I am done. Keep the money. Honestly, at this point I am besides myself with the poor service I have received when purchasing a $10k chair. You have overwhelmingly ruined what should have been a great experience for a large purchase. Buyer beware.

Paula Wright: I Purchased a mattress from the Overland Park location and have had nothing but trouble with customer service as well as the product since that time.I went in after being diagnosed with lupus, and Sjogren’s syndrome needing a mattress to help with significant pain issues. I was talked into trying and anatomic global product and guaranteed that if I had any issues I could absolutely come back in and consider a different mattress. Within the first 30 days, I knew that this mattress was not going to be a good fit and return to the store to discuss this issue with the manager. At that time, he indicated the only option I had would be to contact the manufacturer and discuss getting a replacement. I am currently on my third replacement.I have attempted to contact the store owner on multiple occasions over the last few years, and have been told by the manufacturer that Tom, the owner of both Omaha and the Overland Park Store would need to create a refund in order for me to transition out of these mattresses and get back into a Tempur-pedic which is what I have wanted since this nightmare began. Over the years, the store manager has never returned my call and I feel extremely frustrated and believe that the customer service provided has been horrific. The manufacturer explained that she is able to work with Tom to make this right, and has done so with other store owners, but he needs to reach out to have this conversation.Please do not take the time to go to either of these stores if you are not prepared to take a loss on a huge investment. I found the process to be extremely disappointing and stressful. A zero stars is a more accurate rating.Paula Wright
Kathi Fern: Great customer service! I bought an Andrew Leblanc X Chair in 2012. After 20 years of lower back issues I finally found relief! After 10-12 hour work days 20 minutes in my zero gravity chair makes a huge difference in both my pain and stress levels. After 7 years of service my chair has a mechanical issue. I called the Overland Park store and was immediately given all the information I needed to arrange for the "no charge" replacement parts. During the brief wait for parts I visited the store and asked to sit in a X Chair. I was made completely welcome! I will repair my chair and enjoy it while possible, but when it's life has been lived I will be back to purchase another 🙂
DiAnn Jones: I purchased a side contour pillow for relief of neck and shoulder pain. I would highly recommend it. My husband and I also purchased the relax the back memory foam mattress, we absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. My husband of average size sinks to bottom and I feel like I'm sliding down hill all night! The mattress does not have the support we were told it would have. An absolute waste of $$$ as Relax the back has a non return policy and does not stand behind their products.

They also had many other chairs and products to help ease strain and relieve your back while at work or relaxing at home. I highly recommend visiting this store, it's not inexpensive because they are offering products of the highest quality, but their prices are fair and reasonable on the products they do offer and many appeared to carry special service and warranty periods not offered elsewhere.

Then when it came to our final decision, Joe had their in-house interior designer come over and help us figure out how it would look best within our room with the idea that we we had in our minds eye, and she showed us the colors for the walls and flooring that would go along with furniture, she gave us a computer print out of how those particular colors look together and it just really helped us to be able to make our purchase. She helped us also pick out assecories that would go well with our new red couch set:) It was a very injoyable experience! We will definitely go back there to purchase furniture.

I liked the no pressure process and payment only when the furniture is delivered.

Erica Nicholson: Like so many others, I need help! I ordered my furniture in July and had an estimated delivery date of October 3rd but haven't received anything. I have emailed and messaged on Facebook but I haven't been responded to in weeks. The phone number on the website is disconnected. I understand there are shipping delays but all I want is to be communicated with. I really hope I didn't just throw away $1,000.Edit 10/14: If you're considering buying from this place and looking at this review, please don't buy—you're probably not going to get what you purchase. If you're in a situation like me, and have already purchased something but it hasn't been delivered and/or you haven't been communicated with in months, I would recommend going to your debit/credit card company and disputing the charge. Luckily, I was able to get a refund. To Furniture Spot: I have no idea what is happening on your end, but if there was an emergency, or even if you're dealing with supply chain issues, please know that your customers will likely understand if you just COMMUNICATE WITH US. A simple Facebook post explaining the situation or an automatic email reply would suffice. And if you're unable to fulfill orders, shut down your website and give refunds. Buying furniture from this store has been one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences I've ever had.
Scott Schiesl: I ordered a sectional and was told it would be 8-12 weeks. It has been 25 weeks since I ordered it and now I can not get the business to email me back. They have disconnected their phone number so no one can call them. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life.

Tinaris Watson: Yeah I ordered furniture back in June and I was supposed to have it by August but only 3 of the 6 pieces came in by then. They look amazing btws (I mean seriously I love the half of my modular couch lol) Im glad I got something and Alyssa was amazing during the process. Idk what happened but she stopped responding. I paid them $1100 and held the rest until I got the rest of my furniture but for what I have I still overpaid. I really believed in these guys. Alyssa worked so hard. Hopefully they get things figured out. If not I just want a refund for what I overpaid so I can get the other half of my couch.

They ended up sending me the complete incorrect piece from what I detailed that I needed in a VIDEO showing the issue, as requested. I have never been able to contact them since now matter how many emails and calls, (I still have all the proof) and another part went bad with the couch within two weeks of having it. Still haven't been contacted back and I guess I will have to take further actions. Not recommended.I would be happy to adjust this review if the owners would get back in touch with me and help resolve matters and provide me with the couch that I paid for, rather than a mechanically malfunctioning one. I don't know what else to do other than leave this review and contact the BBB about what happened.

micah fritz: I'm not saying don't purchase from this store, but I'd highly recommend reading through this before moving forward in your decision making.On August 22, 2020 my wife and I purchased a sectional set for over $2500. We did not receive it until spring of 2021. We were patient the entire time wanting to support local small business especially during COVID. When the sectional arrived (March 28, 2021) and delivered into our home, there was a bracket that was bent along with a hole in one of the pieces. There was also a missing plug in for our recliner. We contacted and let the owners (Alissa and Nick) know about the situation. Nick came and picked up the piece in question and said we'd hear from them once it was figured it out.It is now July and we still haven't received our fully functional sectional. I reached out about our pieces and was called by Nick (July 10, 2021) to give me an update. He shared with me my only option was to use my warranty to get the items taken care of because Ashley is being difficult. I shared with him as a customer I don't think I should have to use a warranty on a brand new product and the business should be advocating for our family...(using the warranty then voids it from being able to be used again). He shared with me I was the one who put a hole in the couch moving it in. I let him know we paid for in-home delivery and he said I did not and I am the one who ruined it. He then stated I had to go and pick up the piece (even though I paid for delivery)...he did state he would deliver it, but I should never text, email or call them again and we are no longer allowed to be customers.The reason for two stars is because our interaction with Alissa the evening we purchased our set was very accommodating. However, everything since then, we haven't been taken care of as a customer and am being blamed for issues we did not do and have proof of it.As I shared previously, I'm not saying don't support this business...but I would be highly aware you may not be taken care of at all, then yelled at and threatened on the phone by one of the owners and told you are the reason your items are damaged.—Edited after a call from the owner, Nick.I have now been informed he will not be delivering the item in question and the police will be called if I enter their store because of my honest review on Google and Yelp. When purchasing our furniture at the furniture of mall in Kansas, we were told that our dining room set was solid wood. After using the sat for less than a month, there were scratches that were obvious on a normal surface that was very similar to fingernail polish. At one time I had called for the scratches on the chairs and no turn collars made. In the spring of 2023 I called in another, scratch as well as bubbling of the laminate on the top of the what was supposed to be solid wood table. It is now been two months from the furniture protection company that was sold to me for $599 from the Furniture Mall Kansas. I’ve been given the runaround whenever I called they say they can’t help me that they’re just answering the phones even though it’s during daytime hours. I’ve called three or four times most recently today where the person on the other line told me that they don’t have anyone that is even their supervisor. They simply didn’t answer the phone and get your name and number. For $600 the service is unacceptable. I would never buy furniture from this company again.

Kyla B, Blended Threads Co: BUYER BEWARE. My husband and I ordered furniture from here almost a year ago, and had a great experience with our sales rep. We paid nearly $6k for a gorgeous sectional and love seat. Knowing it was pricey, we also purchased the insurance to replace or return it should it be ruined by our pets. They also offer a 10-day money back guarantee. Well, once our furniture was delivered, it only took SIX days for the damage to occur because the quality of material is lacking. We immediately emailed the customer service address we were told to work through, and it has now been almost a YEAR with NO ONE helping us. We still have the ruined furniture, and cannot get ANYONE from their "customer service" department to speak to us or email us back with any pertinent details. They emailed once to ask for photos, once to approve our claim, and now will not proceed with replacing or refunding anything. We even tried calling the store, and were informed they could do nothing and we'd have to work with their customer service department....who doesn't respond to emails or answer any phone calls.

Susan Wiley: Terrible customer service for any repairs or information about an order. Once you are in the store, the salespeople on the floor are super nice because they want the sell. However, being put on hold and transferred several times to get an answer for arrival dates is another story. We purchased a sectional with the USB charging ports in each end. The 1st replacement we had to pay for because it was after the 1-yr warranty. However, when the same one quit working 4 months later, I wasn't willing to pay another $90 for yet another replacement. I was finally told that the manufacturer would replace it this 1-time. After a month of no part arrival, I called again to see where the part was only to be told that I would now have to pay for shipping and that they had no idea where or when it would be in. I have left 2 voicemails for customer service after hours and they were never returned. After receiving a text message today telling me to call about my order, I called in yet again, only to be told they didn't know when it would be here. The girl was not very helpful and seemed annoyed that I would be inquiring about it after the text. They sound super disorganized and they always have to put you on hold in order to retrieve any information for you at all.

I am giving 3 stars because of the “poor” communication between manager and employees. It took 6 trips to my home with DAMAGED furniture before they were ABLE to bring furniture that wasn’t damaged. I talked to Jason, the manager on numerous occasions. Advising how he would make things right after everything is settled. Well, when time came to settle he didn’t answer his phone nor text. Jason left it up to his assistant Colton.Colton, the assistant manager thought 11% compensation was something I should have been excited about. What about the inconvenience over 3 months of time.Never received the gift card!This is not how you treat your repeat customers!!!!!!

Today I received another text from Jennifer profusely apologizing for a delay and giving me a new time frame. You’d think I’d be irritated but Jennifer’s heartfelt apology came thru loud and clear. It’s evident she understood I would be disappointed and did her best to make it better. She succeeded. When I return for my next piece of furniture, it will be because of Jennifer’s way of ensuring I know that customers are very much valued here.

The lack of response or care once you have paid for the furniture is extremely frustrating.
