Colin Peck: We used the Hy-Vee Bakery for our wedding cake and wedding cupcakes. Everything they made was absolutely delicious and they delivered to our wedding venue without any issues. We worked with Katie who was very helpful and flexible. Hy-Vee Bakery was a great choice and we would highly recommend them!
Liam Elliott-Rosenau: My spouse ordered a birthday cake for me and picked it up today. It was absolutely nothing like what was discussed with the baker. The colors were intensly hideous and clashed bc of it (we wanted something lighter), the font was wrong (they did flowy script font when we wanted it to be super simple and now we can barely read it), everything was off centered (the font was crooked and parts were floating randomly), and there were additions that weren't asked for. My spouse came home with it in tears because we don't have the time to get a new one made (what they said we would have to do if we wanted anything better) --- the celebration is today :( if I could give them 0 stars I would. The ready made ones in the case are 10x better than this which they had over a week to make!
Jessica Leigh Allegedly: The food is seriously good.. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be or not.. after trying the sesame chicken/fried rice/crab rangoon once- I was hooked. The fried chicken is fire, the pop breakfast is a personal fave when ordering from DoorDash.. however, the brownies are omg delicious. Unfortunately, if I buy a tray of them.. if I don’t have friends or family to help devour them and/or babysit me (lol) I have been known to eat them all by myself in one evening.. aha. Also, the people working in this dept are extremely friendly and helpful. It’s no surprise to me that they have a five star rating. They have earned that, for sure.

Paula Ford: I live in Arkansas and was needing to send flowers to a funeral in Kansas City, MO. I was familiar with this Hy-Vee Store on Noland Rd. so I called the floral department on Saturday. I spoke with Regina and explained my situation and what I wanted. I asked if a picture could be sent to me after the arrangement was completed, since I would not be able to attend the funeral. She said that would be no problem. Today, I got the picture as promised. I am so happy with not only the arrangement but with the customer service that I received. From afternoon snack attack cravings to 75-serving cakes to fun workshops and everything in between - this gem of a bakery has been my go-to! H. T.: This is a quaint little shop that we are so happy we stumbled upon. We have liked everything we tried and the owner is so very nice. There are a lot of varieties and there have been different choices each time we have gone. We've had the brownies, chocolate chip cookies, coffee cake, croissants, scones and they we all delightful. My favorite is the "shoe bun" (pictured by itself on the white plate) I had never tried one before and it's so delicious. It is now an all-time-favorite chocolate dessert of mine. I will reccomend this place to anyone who asks! She does custom cakes and cupcakes as well. Stop by or you're missing out!

Kim: I could only give it one star to post the review. Honestly it doesn’t deserve one star. I was truly disappointed. The cake I ordered was $92.00 and it tasted old and there was an odd taste in the frosting. It was supposed to have lemon filling but I couldn’t taste or see the filling. I was really looking forward to this cake and I was truly let down!!!

My granddaughter loves the iced coffee and biscuits and gravy. We both love the breakfast sandwiches. My granddaughter buys a sack of cookies everytime we leave to take to school and she says they are very delicious. It s our go to place. It s also quiet so you can have a conversation in a quiet space. We are regulars and will continue to be.
