M L: La mejor panadería de Independence. Las campechanas están crujientes y muy ricas igual que todo lo demás de pan Mexicano. You have to try this bakery. The Mexican bread is the best in Independence, MO. The campechanas are crispy and delicious ❤, just like the rest of the bread sold there.

Anamilet Saenz: This past weekend I ordered two cakes for my son and daughter's birthday party. Both cakes came out better than expected and were so delicious! The Black Panther cake was chocolate with mocha filling and the Minnie Mouse cake was tres leches with strawberry filling. They were both so good but the tres leches was my favorite. All my party guests complimented the cakes. This was my first time ordering a cake from here. I was nervous how they would come out but they exceeded my expectations. Wish I could post photos of the cake here.

Karolina Ilama: Mal servicio, no tenían nada lo único que queríamos eran bolillos dijeron que estaban en el horno y que en 15 minutos estarían listos, nos hicieron esperar 20 minutos, y después el muchacho nos dijo que deberíamos esperar 10 minutos más. No pierdan su tiempo. Además los productos que tenían listos se veían viejos y el lugar bastante sucio.

mary diaz: My teen granddaughter and I look forward to going to Dave s Deli and Bakery for breakfast. Staff is very friendly, establishment is clean and the food is good and priced reasonable. My granddaughter loves the iced coffee and biscuits and gravy. We both love the breakfast sandwiches. My granddaughter buys a sack of cookies everytime we leave to take to school and she says they are very delicious. It s our go to place. It s also quiet so you can have a conversation in a quiet space. We are regulars and will continue to be.

Linda Weidner: Ordered a cake and described how I wanted it decorated. You can't tell from picture, it also had glitter which made it sparkle! The baker/decorator did a wonderful job. It was delicious!
Stan Conner: Avoid the bakery! The service I received was just as nasty as the donuts. This last Saturday I had some woman yell "can I help you?" For a family gathering I needed to order 2 dozen donuts. As I was giving my order she kept saying "next" then said "Be specific" I told her she was being rude. Her reply was "be specific." I ordered chocolate bars and chocolate donuts. Pretty specific! She gave me donuts with sprinkles! I didn't notice until I was checking out. I contacted the company with my complaint... No reply! I will NEVER enter another Hy-Vee. Nasty service. Nasty product. Poor company reply!

If you can't beat their prices there's something definitely wrong. You have aged buildings, less costly employees and less selection so it's not like you're over your head in overhead. Drop your prices and watch the average middle class families struggling to get by spend their food dollars at your stores instead of SkyHyVee.I like Mckeever's Price Chopper but I think you need to sharpen the edge of that Chopper before those prices get out of hand.

Brooklyn Kleeman: I come here pretty frequently with Instacart and while I don’t understand the layout of the store at all, the people are friendly and helpful. I will say, they could use some training for their cashiers and baggers. I’ve had them bag fresh fruit with raw meat and I’ve had cans stacked in my cart on top of noodles and bread. Big no nos for front end customer service.
