While staying at a hotel near the hospital that the Ronald McDonald house put us up in I got my catilac converter. I was quoted it would cost $1000.00 and no one could get me in right away to fix it. Michael Tristanio: I had an oil change a couple days ago on my 2008 Ford Expedition and the engine started making noises immediately afterwards. Noises that it never made before. I had it towed to my regular mechanic the next day to have it looked at. I was told by my mechanic that the oil was like water thin and it was two quarts over full. Needless to say, I had him change the oil and filter again. Not only did the Midas oil change cost me around $50, but I had to pay a tow bill and spent another $60 for a second oil and filter change two days later. So far my engine is not making the noises since the oil was changed the second time. I'm not at all satisfied with the service I got from Midas and I won't likely ever use them again. If they ruined my engine, they will be paying for the replacement.Service:Oil change

So if you have a truck like mine, don't waste your time . This place is more for small trucks or cars .

Robert Milton: I went to this midas location to have some front end suspension work done before I could get an alignment done. I had gone to a different mechanic shop the week before to get an alignment and the did a diagnostic check and told me that I would have to have the ball joints and the strut assemblies replaced before they could align it. They charged me a 50.00 fee for the diagnostic check. I told midas what they had done and gave them a print out of what they found. Midas did a check of there own and found it needed a ball joint, both strut assemblies, bushings, and an extremely important part that was broken and crucial to the alignment being done correctly, and the diagnostic check with midas was free of charge. All the employees were extremely polite, professional and showed me everything that was in need of replacing. Jarek Phillips: One of my employees had his car towed here for a crank, no start condition.He was told the motor no good, low compression in all 4 cylinders.I told him we'd bring it to my shop, not an auto repair shop mind you, and take a look at it. I'm definitely no mechanic, but I have a general idea how vehichles function. Well, two hours and a new coil pack later and the car started up and is running just fine.Obviously not happy about the experience at Midas.

Austin Fletcher: Never had a good experience with this location, only went there acouple times but that's enough for me.First time my capless gas cap was leaking air so I went there and it took them forever to say we think it might be these springs that hold the seal but we don't have the part so you should go to ford... so I did.. the SECOND I told them what was happening they said "oh that happens all the time it's just a sensor"and it costed next to nothing..The 2nd time i had a coolant leak and they needed to replace the hoses. So they do, my famly takes my car on vacation and the coolant starts to leak, burns up the computer and when they had it towed to a mechanic he said that "somone installed the hoses wrong"UPDATE: took my car into another shop and they said "two tires were bad. Front brakes are non existent and your rotors are going bad but NOT an emergency." So I saw Calverts was doing a brake deal so I decided to take it here to get brakes done. They called me the next day and said "one tire is bad, your brakes are non existent and all four rotors need replaced NOW and the rotors will fix your problem Guaranteed" so I told them to just do the breaks and they were acting like it wasn't wise to not get the rotors done now, tried to sell me breaks that wasn't under they're deal and after everything I went to get the TWO tires that were bad (not one) and that completely fixed the problem, not the 700+ job they were trying to sell me on. I wouldn't recommend this company at all.---------We have taken our vehicles here several times over the years and always gotten good service - until about a year ago. Sloppy work and rookie mistakes almost broke the engine in my vehicle. One visit basic, expected repair required 4 visits and two tows to get completed correctly. I will not be back and can no longer recommend this shop.Seeing the reply, I want to add that we did contact the regional office after the 3rd visit and received complete indifference. That truly confirmed our poor experience. I do not know what kind of staff this location has today, but my latest experience thoroughly convinced me to not return.
