Henry Schrader: I don't normally leave reviews but I had to for this one. My car broke down as I was driving through and the people at Family Wrench took amazing care of me. They are very straightforward and honest, and the prices are totally fair. When my car's problem persisted after I drove it away, I brought it back and they checked it out again and advised me free of charge, plus told me which dealership I needed to take my car to and the things I needed to get taken care of beforehand. If you need a mechanic, this is the way to go.

My mechanic, John, is the best and I would recommend him to anyone. He was very transparent about cost and the time it would take to do my repair. When I went in with my friend to set up getting her car fixed, he was very clear about what he thought her issue was and checked us for understanding while he explained it. I heard the page go out and I waited then waited then waited. 15 minutes later no one still has not showed up. Asked for another page and waited 5 additional minutes with no hardware associates appearing. I’m trying buy hundreds in power tools. Locked the tools up and no employees to unlock it to make a sale. 🤦

Collin Smith: Audrey helped me load a lot of soil and mulch tonight, she was very helpful and friendly even though it was close to closing time. I appreciate how she did it all, and I would give her a raise, she's worth keeping around. Also the girl at customer service, I didn't catch her name, but she was very kind and even said she'd help load it herself if she could leave her register. 10/10, I will be back, and if I was in charge I'd give both of these kids a raise. They helped me above and beyond what I'd expected or hoped for especially an hour before close. Both of them went above and beyond, if you want to keep them working for you, I'd be giving them raises. I don't work for your company, I don't know what you can do, but PLEASE do the best you can for those girls. Their kindness and help made a world of difference to me, and I hope you use it as grounds to make a difference for them.

Beverly Brown: I noticed my battery gauge said I had 14% and I called for an appointment to have it checked or replaced. He said it would be $225 to replace it and connect to computer. I wasnt there 10 minutes when he came in and told me that my battery was fine and didnt need a new one. I was very relieved because being a single woman he could have told me he was replacing it and charged me anyway. I have had that happen before at other places. I am definitely going back when the oil change is due and any future problems. They are very honest and highly recommend them.I just recently had my oil changed and it was very quick and very little waiting time. I have told some friends and gave their number. Timothy Curry: I went to get a inspection, and the website says “same day” inspection. Went up there and had to wait over 10 days…. Very misleading advertising.

Ruth Smiddy: Had a new starter installed. Service was good and so was the price. Also the mechanic I have had forever has retired. I believe I have found my new mechanic.
Will Bu: I am happy with Buddy's. Before there I had 2 incorrect diagnoses and costly repairs but so far so good now. 1 of the incorrect diagnoses would've really stung. That incorrect diagnosis was around 6 times what Buddy's charged and that incorrect diagnosis wasn't the problem. What also stings is that other place may have known it wasn't the problem.Regardless, I'm all in on Buddy's so far, (I just got it back about 10 days ago). Unfortunately, it takes awhile to figure out which shops are actually interested in diagnosing and fixing your car and which ones don't really know what's wrong and just charge you for repairs that MIGHT be the problem so they can pay themselves and the employees. And then there's the unscrupulous ones that just tell you anything so they can pay themselves and all the employees.But, Buddy's appears to be that first one - a genuine fixer so you can get back on the road kinda place.Services:Auto engine tuning,Auto brake repair

We had the catalytic converter stolen literally hours before we were set to depart from KC after our vacation. Sent the car to Thorobred Ford, because it was "in network" for our insurance. They told us it would be weeks, if not over a month, before it was done.Called Buddy's. Mike, the general manager (from my understanding), told us he could have it done sooner, so we had the car towed to him.Mike was the easiest dude to communicate with that I've ever experienced in the world of auto repair, and seemed to genuinely care about our situation. He worked hard to communicate the details with us as the event unfolded. When we found out that the part we needed was on a nationwide backorder, Mike called around and found one for us, and had it overnight shipped to their shop to get the work done sooner.On top of all of that, once the vehicle was done, Mike called and arranged for us to meet him on the weekend, when the shop was closed, just because he knew we were coming from out of town. How cool is that??I must emphasize the following point: WE DO NOT EVEN LIVE THERE! We likely will not be return customers. But these guys did everything in their power to help us out, just to be good people.I cannot say enough about how great this company was for us, and how they bent over backwards to assist us in this unfortunate situation. You guys are life savers. Thanks, Mike!!
