Emma Smith: After a year of my 91 Cadillac Seville being in shops more than not and endless headaches with auto shops who didn't really care to get the job done right, Barr's Auto has done a fantastic job with my older vehicle. We took it in for a gasket replacement which they found wasn't necessary, and took the time to find so many other issues with my car that had been continuously overlooked. Initially we had been told the intake manifold gasket was bad, they found it was simply the thermostat housing unit. I'd burnt through 3 ICMs in a few months, they put a high quality ICM in and found a short which had caused all the others to fail. They found that the brake line repairs another shop had done were not holding, so they machined the necessary part in-house for a super reasonable price. My car is running like a top thanks to this shop, I could have saved myself a lot of cash and frustration if I had just taken my car here sooner!

LIFAN LIFE: Took 2 weeks to fix my vehicle. Quoted me way above almost $2000 more than what I came in there for. Found everything that was wrong with my car and tried to say if you don’t let us fix these things all together then we can’t guarantee our work for the actual repair needed…lol… Told them that’s fine then I will tow it out out of there today to another place right around the corner. They called me back real quick with a quote for the actual repair that I had originally came in there for, which was close to $900. I let ‘em do it since the car was already there but I will definitely not be coming back here. And guess what? My vehicle is running just the same as it was before without the extra stuff they tried to get me to repair. Who has $3000 dollars sitting around to spend on a car that’s not even worth that price..lol They also refused to honor the online coupons of 10% off of any repair above a certain amount which is false advertisement. Dude at the front desk rolled his eyes when I ask to look over my vehicle before I paid. And all the employees sat there watching me like I was going to drive off without paying. He ask to move my car out the way so that he could get the keys back in his possession thought he was slick I just laughed to myself like whatever. Upon starting my car It was missing pretty badly and there was a distinct burning odor emanating from under the hood. Prior to taking my car in for repairs, for 2 yrs, my car never missed, until after retrieving my car from Certifix. I am very unhappy with their service!

Andrew Warlen: I bought a remanufactured CVT transmission online from Street Smart transmission for a 2015 Honda Civic. Certifix is one of their recommended installers. Street Smart has a 3 year unlimited mileage transferable warranty on their remanufactured transmission. Transmission was shipped to Certifix and Certifix took care of sending back the core. Price to install was very fair, work was done promptly, good communication throughout, and car runs well. I strongly recommend. Parts and labor together cost me less than half of what a competitor cost. Additionally, I had the car back before the other company said they could get started.Service:Transmission replacement

fred urnise: I had a bad and disappointing experience with Missouri Interlock! They require the installation fee and 1st month payment upfront which totaled 175 and charge 50 dollars for a missed appointment so when I arrived for the installation no one was at the installation location so they wanted me to accept an apology and wait for the technician to arrive when he got there I rescheduled for 2 days later. So on the morning of the rescheduled appointment I woke up ill and called to reschedule and they told me there would be a 50 dollar charge at that point I cancelled the service and they kept the 175 dollars without rendering any services! This is a horrible place to do business with!

Dale Forrest: Rod the owner is a great guy and his wife Brenda is a wonderful chat. I took my envoy in a couple days ago, I was chasing down some PCM, TAC, APP problems. One of the last things I could do was replace the CAT. He confirmed that I had a bad CAT and had also informed me that I had fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump problems on top of replacing the fuel filter for me already. I will use them for anything I need in the future, price was fair and honest for the economy we are currently in and their vast knowledge in the field really shows.

I took my chances to get a tire rotation, oil change and for my heat to get fixed in my car that stopped working 2 weeks ago at a mechanic I was not familiar with and I am so happy I did. What an experience! I didn't have a ride back home when I dropped off my car and planned to walk home in November and their staff had none of it. This was the only place I've ever dropped off my car where I was asked if I had a ride home. It made me feel like they truly cared about me. I will always recommend this place to any friends who ask. Tyler LeBar: Set appointment and they were 45/minutes late. said I needed new inner tie rod (it was fine) replaced it called to get reinspected. Left 3 voicemails and still have not gotten a call back. The inspection they did only took 12 minutes. I will never use this place again.Service:Vehicle Inspection

Wil Beebe: Online, I scheduled an oil change for the following day. An hour later, I get a phone call stating the computer should not have offered me that time slot, it's not available. There was also an email stating the same.I compliment them for contacting me. But whoever is in IT messed up. I went to jiffy lube down the street.Understand the computer magic is out of your hands. We're from out of state & Thur morning was really the only option. I use CB back home, and it's where I look 1st when we're on the road.
