Katherine Foster: Honest mechanic. After 3 visits to Hyundai for a crack in my windshield reservoir pump, Hyundai tells me nothing was wrong when continuously an hour later I had no windshield fluid. 6 months later I found these guys through my insurance agency - Allstate. They had me in & out in one hour - pulled out the damaged/cracked pump where the fluid was leaking from & showed me the issue. They were also able to get me certified Hyundai parts under warranty. Take that Hyundai!

LIFAN LIFE: Took 2 weeks to fix my vehicle. Quoted me way above almost $2000 more than what I came in there for. Found everything that was wrong with my car and tried to say if you don’t let us fix these things all together then we can’t guarantee our work for the actual repair needed…lol… Told them that’s fine then I will tow it out out of there today to another place right around the corner. They called me back real quick with a quote for the actual repair that I had originally came in there for, which was close to $900. I let ‘em do it since the car was already there but I will definitely not be coming back here. And guess what? My vehicle is running just the same as it was before without the extra stuff they tried to get me to repair. Who has $3000 dollars sitting around to spend on a car that’s not even worth that price..lol They also refused to honor the online coupons of 10% off of any repair above a certain amount which is false advertisement. Dude at the front desk rolled his eyes when I ask to look over my vehicle before I paid. And all the employees sat there watching me like I was going to drive off without paying. He ask to move my car out the way so that he could get the keys back in his possession thought he was slick I just laughed to myself like whatever. But anywho only go here if you have no other options. LUBE CUBE around the corner is way better. NEVER AGAIN. Everything written in this review is my honest to God truth hand on the Bible regardless of what Lees Auto Repair says in reply. I stand on what I said In my review all truth not one lie was told I have nothing to gain by it, but try to help others find honest hearted businesses and you failed to achieve that. Alicia Grindstaff, LPC: My family has been using Barr’s Auto for longer than I’ve been driving. They have always been incredibly fair and straight forward. When the dealership tried to upsell my husband he talked with the owner of Barr’s who directly told him that work did not need to be done. Their honestly over the years has kept us going back. I always feel like I understand what is being done and why. There are never surprises on my bill. All around a great company!

Emma Smith: After a year of my 91 Cadillac Seville being in shops more than not and endless headaches with auto shops who didn't really care to get the job done right, Barr's Auto has done a fantastic job with my older vehicle. We took it in for a gasket replacement which they found wasn't necessary, and took the time to find so many other issues with my car that had been continuously overlooked. Initially we had been told the intake manifold gasket was bad, they found it was simply the thermostat housing unit. I'd burnt through 3 ICMs in a few months, they put a high quality ICM in and found a short which had caused all the others to fail. They found that the brake line repairs another shop had done were not holding, so they machined the necessary part in-house for a super reasonable price. My car is running like a top thanks to this shop, I could have saved myself a lot of cash and frustration if I had just taken my car here sooner!

Beverly Brown: I noticed my battery gauge said I had 14% and I called for an appointment to have it checked or replaced. He said it would be $225 to replace it and connect to computer. I wasnt there 10 minutes when he came in and told me that my battery was fine and didnt need a new one. I was very relieved because being a single woman he could have told me he was replacing it and charged me anyway. I have had that happen before at other places. I am definitely going back when the oil change is due and any future problems. They are very honest and highly recommend them.I just recently had my oil changed and it was very quick and very little waiting time. I have told some friends and gave their number. Will Bu: I am happy with Buddy's. Before there I had 2 incorrect diagnoses and costly repairs but so far so good now. 1 of the incorrect diagnoses would've really stung. That incorrect diagnosis was around 6 times what Buddy's charged and that incorrect diagnosis wasn't the problem. What also stings is that other place may have known it wasn't the problem.Regardless, I'm all in on Buddy's so far, (I just got it back about 10 days ago). Unfortunately, it takes awhile to figure out which shops are actually interested in diagnosing and fixing your car and which ones don't really know what's wrong and just charge you for repairs that MIGHT be the problem so they can pay themselves and the employees. And then there's the unscrupulous ones that just tell you anything so they can pay themselves and all the employees.But, Buddy's appears to be that first one - a genuine fixer so you can get back on the road kinda place.Services:Auto engine tuning,Auto brake repair

We had the catalytic converter stolen literally hours before we were set to depart from KC after our vacation. Sent the car to Thorobred Ford, because it was "in network" for our insurance. They told us it would be weeks, if not over a month, before it was done.Called Buddy's. Mike, the general manager (from my understanding), told us he could have it done sooner, so we had the car towed to him.Mike was the easiest dude to communicate with that I've ever experienced in the world of auto repair, and seemed to genuinely care about our situation. He worked hard to communicate the details with us as the event unfolded. When we found out that the part we needed was on a nationwide backorder, Mike called around and found one for us, and had it overnight shipped to their shop to get the work done sooner.On top of all of that, once the vehicle was done, Mike called and arranged for us to meet him on the weekend, when the shop was closed, just because he knew we were coming from out of town. How cool is that??I must emphasize the following point: WE DO NOT EVEN LIVE THERE! We likely will not be return customers. But these guys did everything in their power to help us out, just to be good people.I cannot say enough about how great this company was for us, and how they bent over backwards to assist us in this unfortunate situation. Austin Fletcher: Never had a good experience with this location, only went there acouple times but that's enough for me.First time my capless gas cap was leaking air so I went there and it took them forever to say we think it might be these springs that hold the seal but we don't have the part so you should go to ford... so I did.. the SECOND I told them what was happening they said "oh that happens all the time it's just a sensor"and it costed next to nothing..The 2nd time i had a coolant leak and they needed to replace the hoses. So they do, my famly takes my car on vacation and the coolant starts to leak, burns up the computer and when they had it towed to a mechanic he said that "somone installed the hoses wrong"UPDATE: took my car into another shop and they said "two tires were bad. Front brakes are non existent and your rotors are going bad but NOT an emergency." So I saw Calverts was doing a brake deal so I decided to take it here to get brakes done. They called me the next day and said "one tire is bad, your brakes are non existent and all four rotors need replaced NOW and the rotors will fix your problem Guaranteed" so I told them to just do the breaks and they were acting like it wasn't wise to not get the rotors done now, tried to sell me breaks that wasn't under they're deal and after everything I went to get the TWO tires that were bad (not one) and that completely fixed the problem, not the 700+ job they were trying to sell me on. He didn't charge me a dime. I had him check for other things...just because of the effort, trying to find a way to pay for the time. I didn't even need an air-filter, he determined. As a cynical journalist, who has written so many stories about faulty mechanical-work, I felt compelled to recommend this dealership. Good service is expected. A “E A” M: Updated 2 years later to say that the parts that they installed and that typically are expected to last 5+ years are now broken and have to be replaced. I wouldn't recommend this company at all.---------We have taken our vehicles here several times over the years and always gotten good service - until about a year ago. Sloppy work and rookie mistakes almost broke the engine in my vehicle. One visit basic, expected repair required 4 visits and two tows to get completed correctly. I will not be back and can no longer recommend this shop.Seeing the reply, I want to add that we did contact the regional office after the 3rd visit and received complete indifference. That truly confirmed our poor experience. I do not know what kind of staff this location has today, but my latest experience thoroughly convinced me to not return.

Upon starting my car It was missing pretty badly and there was a distinct burning odor emanating from under the hood. Prior to taking my car in for repairs, for 2 yrs, my car never missed, until after retrieving my car from Certifix. I am very unhappy with their service!
Andrew Warlen: I bought a remanufactured CVT transmission online from Street Smart transmission for a 2015 Honda Civic. Certifix is one of their recommended installers. Street Smart has a 3 year unlimited mileage transferable warranty on their remanufactured transmission. Transmission was shipped to Certifix and Certifix took care of sending back the core. Price to install was very fair, work was done promptly, good communication throughout, and car runs well. I strongly recommend. Parts and labor together cost me less than half of what a competitor cost. Additionally, I had the car back before the other company said they could get started.Service:Transmission replacement

mike castillo: I use to trust this place until I took it in to have parts replaced as preventative maintenance. I would buy my parts on Amazon, but I would make sure they were OEM. I had the ignition coil replaced and knew there was a short somewhere, I was told to replace the throttle sensor with a Kia part and the air mass flow sensor. After I kept getting an error and come to find when I removed the engine cover the ignition wire connector was pushed up against the engine and the thermal coupler was not replaced. I called Jason and he said the mechanic no longer works for him, but not apology or off to bring it in to make it right. I spent plenty of money here and this is how I was treated. I brought my car here for years too. So sad to leave.
