Charlie Goodrich: The lobby has been closed, understandable. Everything is done in Drive Through. Always have to ask for the slips before I can fill them out which is why the lobby was good because I had time to do that without making someone wait on me. The tellers are good about it but it doesn't make me feel any less guilty.Update...Bank saw this and sent me out some slips, didn't even have to ask. Little embarrassed I didn't think about asking for extra slips at the window.

H. M.: Banked with them for over a decade. When I opened the account it was free. If you dont have so much money deposited or spent you get charged $8 a month for essentially not making enough income to bank with them. After closing the account the bank manager left a single cent in the account. When my trash bill went through months later I got a letter in the mail stating the account was negative $140.I had to go back and close the account again and reconfirm my banking info with the trash company. It was a complete headache.

B P: My bank account was closed after two days because the balance was $0.00. I have been waiting for a wire transfer and my account was closed now I just talked to someone yesterday about my account and I was not told that after only 2 days of having a zero balance would be closed. I was told they sent the request to open the account back and my money will post today or tomorrow. They should no sense of remorse for just closing my account after 2 days of a zero balance. I've banked with bank midwest over 10 years and never recieved such horrible service.

Dr. Daddy: Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I've waited or 5 min to even be acknowledged in the drive through when there's noone else in the drivethrough. I've pressed the callbutton before because the shuttle wasn't working and noone showed up, again, noone in the driver through(had to just go home that day. Then other times it's perfectly pleasant. Everytime it seems like the folks are nice, but it also seems like they don't care about the customers. I wish it were more consistent. I've only been to one other branch, but it is consistently better.
Magenta Jett: I go here to do deposits and change orders for work and they are always helpful. They work fast and efficiently! Every time I walk in someone says HI and they are able to help me soon after. This bank is my favorite one to go to and I will continue Togo to them for my banking needs!

Hailey Mallas: I’ve banked with Commerce since I started working when I was 16. They were great for the first two weeks until I downloaded their app. Their app will lie and say I have a certain amount in my account when I really don’t, I have my card set up to where it can’t be charged if there’s no money on it. So the app lies and says I have this amount of money I only spend a couple dollars out of this amount of money and i’ll wake up the next day negative in my account and than in charged with MULTIPLE over draft fee. They consistently screw up, the drive through workers are rude, once I pay off my credit card I will be closing my account with them due to the inconsistency and the amount of stress this bank causes me. I would not recommend them to anyone, I have friends who i’ve steered the opposite way of Commerce and I have a lot of friends who agree that Commerce is the worst bank you could bank with here. GO TO COMMUNITY AMERICA!!

I had a terrible problem with a company taking out an automatic payment over and over and over again; causing me hundreds in overdraw fees. That company denied doing so. I went to the bank honestly expecting them to say there was nothing they could do. But instead, I was treated with professionalism and compassion and the nice lady went above and beyond to solve my problem that day! She even refunded some of the overdraw fees! She got the situation taken care of and helped me out a great deal. It was so nice to be treated like a person and not a number. I have had all great service from every transaction I have had with Commerce Bank from opening my account, to making deposits and now saving me money and fixing a huge headache. I highly recommend this Bank!

The 39th St. location in Independence is the only Commerce location that I've dealt with personally and if this branch is in any way a reflection of Commerce Bank as an entity, I am absolutely shocked that they still have individuals and businesses banking with them. I am regularly given the run-around whenever I have a concern and the staff here almost seem MORE eager to assist individuals in closing their accounts down instead of being personable or interested in addressing the problems. Their information is misleading and changes depending on their mood, apparently. Ease of access and usability are two concepts of which they have no knowledge and seemingly no interest in incorporating into their facility. Whether it's personal banking or a commercial account -- look elsewhere!
Frontdesk Misty Gipson: Complete 2 commercial transactions in person thru drive thru each month. Never have any issues with wait times, or teller dispositions. Everyone is always jovial and kind when I visit.

Nate D: This company, I have the deepest regret as to say, threw my wife and our newborn daughter out onto the streets three days before Christmas. “Why?”, you might ask? You might be tempted to say that it sounds as though she had stolen money from the company, or maybe participated in bribes that caused one customer to be benefited financially above another. Or possibly vandalism or misappropriation of company property. But you would be wrong. She was fired because she did not make the personal and private health decision afforded to us by the constitution of the United States of America to be vaccinated for religious reasons. That was her crime. She is a person of faith, and as such cannot be vaccinated. Faith, apparently, warrants termination. And the company apparently believes that either 1: They are granted an imaginary right to decide what personal health choices their employees are allowed to make, or 2: That the vaccines are so ineffective as to need her vaccination for anyone elses vaccine to work.It seems as though NASB is more interested in participating in some sort of “Clean/Unclean” class system than in behaving morally and constitutionally.I am asking you, if you are reading this, to please consider helping us fight against the religious discrimination of this company. If you are reading this, please consider putting your money elsewhere. If you already have money here, please consider removing it and taking it to another bank. Their rates are probably better anyway, to be honest. Help me get justice for my wife. Nobody in the United States should have to choose between their God and their job.In response to the lie from the owner: if you did not discriminate my wife would still have a job and you would have considered her religious exemption request, as opposed to firing her for her faith.
Jules Whitman: This bank is absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! They steal money from deceased account holders, deny it, then will not give it back. When they deny you service on your accounts, they blame it on “their policies” but then deny you copies of their policies. Jamie at the Grandview branch hung up on me when I called her out on her lies. Never, ever bank here!!!! Breanna at the Grandview branch is particularly awful and discriminates against account holders.

Blue Ridge Bank on Sterling stays open 9-5:00 on Saturdays, and it really helps. Thank you.

Chari House: The tellers at the 291 & 40 highway are awesome. The ATM can be very frustrating. So basically go there during business hours and ignore the ATM if possible. Will add the ATM is contacted through someone like Brinks, Loomis, Well's Fargo not the bank itself.

Jennifer Finical: This bank is the worst. I pull up as a commercial customer and the teller currently (I am literally in their drive thru) can’t be bothered to get on the mic and say hello, look up, acknowledge me, NOTHING. He walks aimlessly about and obviously hates his job. I am going to drive further away just to go to US bank on Noland. I have been sitting here at the window for 20 minutes without the slightest acknowledgment. Also they have been without rolled coin for almost 2 weeks, but I know that’s not their own fault. It’s just hard to explain that to our retail customers.
James Pennington: I recently had to call the branch manager, Josh, regarding an alarming call I got from his branch. He was extremely condescending and far from helpful.

Brooke Peer: Absolutely the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I cashed in some savings bonds for my great grandmother to help pay for her nursing home care (as her power of attorney). I was then sent a 1099 in MY name (though they were hers and put into her bank account for her care). I was then told to fix the problem THEY caused I would need to take her out of the nursing home and bring her in to sign. She has Alzheimer’s and is completely mentally incapacitated. Joshua Lindsey (bank manager) did absolutely nothing to help resolve the issue. Completely unacceptable since this was the banks fault. Do not bank here.Editing to update: once I threatened to file a formal complaint with the bank - the manager was suddenly able to fix my problem. Will still be changing banks.

They take 10+ minutes to get to you in the drive through even if nobody is in line, this has happened multiple occasions back to back. And everyone seems clueless and rude. They sent a reflection of the entire franchise just a reflection of poor management or bad hiring.

What I did not expect however - upon receiving my receipt in the sliding window box drawer thing there was a dog treat!!I rescued Mr. Roscoe one week ago. He came from a kill shelter down in Texas and was weeks away from being culled. Having a forever home is new to him along with all the perks of my undivided attention. Ed Hembree: Well looks like US Bank just pushed me right out the door. They just told me, I have to keep $1000 in my account in order to waive my service charge. It use to be a $100. I been with them 4.5 years, I'm not going to be bullied this way. I will be leaving as soon as I start another account at another bank.

Tara Cross: I've never dealt with such a rude bank. I receive attitude from several employees. Today the older woman with glasses was intolerable because the two deposits I dropped off had some money mixed up (one was $20 short). I understand that my deposits SHOULD be accurate, but as I'm sure most humans have done, I miscounted. I don't have a machine to count my money for me, and I'm currently working 80 hours a week. Mistakes happen but this woman huffed and puffed, tossed the money on the counter and if she would have let me finish speaking would have heard me offer to take them back to my store and set them straight. I'm sure it won't matter to her, but I'm speaking with my supervisor about banking elsewhere as this is not the first time myself or employees have had experiences similar to mine today.

Went in to get a simple money order and THEY deposited more money to me than I was giving them somehow so they took it back out which caused me to go negative and now being charged a fee for being negative. When this wasn't my fault to begin with. Not my fault they have employees that can't read numbers right and now I'm being overcharged for it! Just a scam for them to take more money!

Robert Johnston: More than one occasion I’ve attempted to deposit paper checks into my account at the banks atm machine. The feeder jams and withholds my check without applying the funds to my account. Calling during business hours is a joke. They can’t access the paper deposits over the weekend and usually the person who answers the telephone is very dismissive and uncaring. Almost as if they’ve had plenty of practice fielding this sort of phone call. Ultimately it requires a special in-person visit to correct.

Tammy Sammons: Deposited a check in their atm on Monday morning the atm sent a message back not able to return check and did not deposit it. I went into the bank to ask about my check they said that the atm had a jam un it and that the would clear it and call me when they had my check. They did not call Monday but did call Tuesday morning saying I had no check in there. I was very upset since I had a receipt from the atm telling me that there was a n error and that they could not return my check. I ask for manager who again said my check wS not there but he would check the atm again. He comes out holding my check after pretty much being called a liar. No apology. Done.
