I wouldn't say it's THE best, but it's up there, top 3 for sure. It's a great option if you're trying this local classic and want have the gold-standard experience. The cashew sauce has excellent flavor, hewing close to Leong's original recipe I believe. Canton Inn or Leong's both tend to be the places you take someone who's new to the area to try Cashew Chicken for the first time -- in fact, it's Canton Inn most often due to it's convenient location close to another local must-have experience, Bass Pro Shop. It tends to be busy as a result.

I called the restaurant and she said that the time it takes to prepare and then sit combined with delivery time dries it out. Some extra sauce would have avoided this probably. Lindsey: I use to love this place, after tonight I will not be back! The staff was rude the tables were dirty the food was not quickly thrown together and without the usual veggies. The rice was plain white not fried like usual, and the crab ragoons are tasteless. We were not offered drinks or a receipt with our purchase. And it was higher price than several other restaurants aroumd town that are much better and friendlier!

The combination of the two reminded me of eating sour patch gummies that sweet to sour extreme just is not for me... But hey some people like that kind of thing. Also no adult beverages to wash out the taste.

I almost walked out and honestly I should have it was so gross. The excuse the lady gave us was “everything is more expensive these days”. I most definitely made the remark that at least other places taste good.

Chicken Monkey: *Please help!*This post is riddled with nostalgia for my childhood soul food. Jade East Chinese food on Campbell street. So forgive me for the rant.My earliest memory of eating in a restaurant is at Jade East. The one with the iconic blue roof over it, close to bass pro.. I remember being 4 years old, sitting on my booster seat and making PILES of "cripsy wings" off of crabrangoons. (I was only after the insanely delicious sweet and smooth creamy goodness in the middle.) If I was to be offered my last meal I would ask for Crabrangoons from Jade East and that is a fact. That paired with the wonderful savoryness of their decades perfected chicken fried rice.... That's my first encounter with "soul food." I was a hefty kid with a ravenous appetite. It was the buffet that I could go eat all I wanted and it tasted this good?! I fell in love with food in those days. They were formative for me. It was the restaurant that filled my belly and my soul. It's probably my favorite restaurant of all time for these reasons.I want them to thrive again. I'm begging this group to help them do so again...Go order fresh! Either sit down or to go. Their buffet has been lackluster since 2019. Only because of a huge downturn of people not visiting buffets as much as they used to. They have kept it open and have pushed through regardless of profit. If you want to bring a party to eat buffet, just simply ask them to make fresh anything you'd like and they will get after it! They love to feed Springfield. It's a big family in there.
