CM_: I think all Asian restaurants in the Springfield area need to take notes because that was awesome. Egg rolls were done perfectly chicken fried rice was perfect. Chicken was tender with a light crust instead of the usual gelatin consistency I come across here.
Dan Ragsdale: G Money! Best general and orange for miles around, plus authentic Thai/Lao!

Ian Brown: Food is made from scratch, great value for the price, and tastes awesome. Would eat here again.
Deidra Rockers: PaChan's was parked out front of my job the other day, so my coworkers and I all got it for lunch and raved about it to our customers the rest of the day. We all got different stuff and all enjoyed! Been looking for really good Chinese in Springfield since I moved here a few months ago and this place ticks all the boxes for me! The general chicken has a kick but is quite flavorful. Very good rice as well. Definitely some of the best if not the best crab rangoons I've had as well. Will definitely be trying more from them soon!

matt austin: Holy smokes, this place was awesome. My wife and I decided to try it out since her favorite place (China Star) closed. She got the cashew chicken, and I got the orange chicken. I love the fact that the sauce comes on the side, especially since we took it home; the chicken didn't get soggy. The rice was good, no complaints. The egg rolls we really good too. I did see in an different review that the spicy really means spicy. The orange sauce had a kick, so I would drown the chicken in it if you're sensitive to spicy things. Don't get me wrong, the orange sauce was great, just dont be surprised with things being spicy. We definitely will be back, and very happy we tried this place out!
Logan F: If you’re looking for the best Chinese food in Springfield look no further!I I ate her tonight and got the cashew dinner, The chicken isn’t chewy or stringy cheap chicken like most places in town and it is always hot and fresh, the Rice is just the perfect texture and never dry, the sauce is my favorite part they serve it on the side and it is perfect for putting on your cashew chicken or I also use it to dip their delicious egg rolls in. Two ate for under $20 by the way!! 10/10 recommend. Was going to post a picture but it looked/smelled too good so I dove in!!
Anna O'Daniel: Food: 5/5More
D Von: Very respectable, delicious food. Much better than any Asian cuisine competition in Springfield
Thomas Brophy: We tried several items this evening: General Chicken, Papaya Salad,Pad Thai, Egg Drop Soup, Crab Rangoons & Egg Rolls. All were very good, although for me too much fish sauce was put in the papaya salad. There were generous amounts for all dishes and we didn't have to wait long to get our food. We will definitely order again.
Eugenia Williams: Love their food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
King Fish: I’ve paid 3x as much for inferior quality Chinese food in town. This is some good food and the prices are good too. If you actually like spice tell them and you will get hooked up. If you haven’t been here before do yourself a favor and check them out.
OHM eCommerce: I love this place. it’s absolutely delicious, fresh and they are extremely nice!

Tessa Summers: I'm so disappointed because my bf used to live in Springfield and it was his favorite place. We havent been down in a while but it was our place to go. We were really looking forward to it.Not only was this terrible for what we know of Leons reputation but it was worse than I've had at almost any Asian cuisine. Our wait service was bad. Communication was good but attentiveness to detail was awful. They were not busy as it was Monday at 8pm but still somehow got the feeling we were rushed. The waitress cordial. She was prompt taking our order and getting our drinks. But once food came out, we were on our own until the check. The food was sad. We could eat most of it so did not get a one star but waa close. Four of us split an appetizer and barely choked down one dry and undefiled crab Rangoon. I wish i had gotten a picture of it all. The portions were small or mostly rice/noodle but it was good we weren't complaining. Until we got the bill.Four plates and one appetizer was about 100 bucks. None of us ordered anything fancy. Chicken dishes mainly and i was the only person to not finish. The plates were normal size (even on the small side for Asian cuisine) and Definitely not 20 dollars in quality. I mentioned rhe crab Rangoon because we had some left between all of us and the reply was "so you're done with it".After a 20 min wait and going to the counter, we finally paid for it all and still tipped but won't be eating here again. I had to go to the front and stop two people just to pay and get a bag. Overall disappointed doesn't begin to convey how we feel about something that used to be so amazing.Kid-friendliness: They have kids chopsticksParking: Spots are small if you drive a suv or truck

John Reynolds: I recently took my wife & mother in law for lunch on Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day. I have ate there for over 40 years along with Gee’s , Leona’s brother. We ordered cashew & sweet & sour chicken. The chicken was very tough . . . brought home for our dog. Also, the sauce for the cashew chicken was completely different. Nothing like the old sauce! Can’t do it again.

There were couples and families and pairs and groups. The decor and atmosphere is very family-oriented. We plan to return!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Orange Chicken, General Chicken …More
Paige Berge: Wish I could say this was good but, paid too much for just sesame chicken, fried rice and an egg roll! Best thing is the egg roll and was a 7/10, fried rice and chicken was not it!
Gary Gallo: Delicious Egg Drop Soup! The best I’ve eaten! The sweet and sour was very good too. I tried my wife’s cashew chicken, and it was very very good!

Erin: I am soooo sad to have to change my review from 5 stars. But you never know what you are going to get anymore. We get good egg rolls then ones with rotten cabbage. Good chicken then stringy weird pieces. This was always our go to till lately. I don’t know where to go now 😭😭😭😭
Chelsea: Best cashew chicken in town 😎🤘🏼
Kristin Michel: The food was awful! It's like all the chicken is just coated in a different sauce. The Lo Mein was bland and tasteless. The egg rolls were decent. It's not a place we will be back to.Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5 …More
S B: A much more honest description of "cashew chicken" would be fried chicken lumps in too sweet sauce. There were no cashews or vegetables and the rice was sad sad sad. I wasn't expecting much, but this was terrible.
K. G.: I have visited Canton Inn every week for years! at an average ticket of approx $25+/- that is $1,300 a year $20,000 in sales for 20 years if I cont to go here. That adds up. What does not add up is after eating food from here on 3-10-23 (Wed) I have been pretty much living in my bathroom. A few days I never even slept. I looked at your health dept inpection from 3-6-23 and seen this:"CANTON INN - CITY205 W SUNSHINE ST SPRINGFIELD Map it3/6/2023 5:15:00 PM Routine Inspection; Result: ActivePriority Violations Found: 4"Priority Violatiotions "4" is four to many. Alex Spalding: Favorite Dish: Cashew ChickenCanton Inn is the place I remember most for being voted best Cashew Chicken in town on a consistent basis. I wouldn't say it's THE best, but it's up there, top 3 for sure. It's a great option if you're trying this local classic and want have the gold-standard experience. The cashew sauce has excellent flavor, hewing close to Leong's original recipe I believe. Canton Inn or Leong's both tend to be the places you take someone who's new to the area to try Cashew Chicken for the first time -- in fact, it's Canton Inn most often due to it's convenient location close to another local must-have experience, Bass Pro Shop. It tends to be busy as a result.
Jeffrey (turtlesavingclub): Decent Chinese, cute location. I'll surely try some more things on the menu. I'm only giving it a 4 because what I had (extra spicy sesame chicken) was just ok. I'm guessing their specialty is something different on the menu. I'll adjust accordingly in the future if it matters to anyone... 😅Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

koriya: what do users think?
Michael Soles: Before I made an order, I called this store and asked if they used MSG in their food and was told no. I am highly allergic to MSG. When I got my food, it was wonderful however, I got really sick afterwards. So I called the store today and asked if they use the Ramen noodle seasoning package that comes in the Roman noodles. The lady told me yes which means they add MSG into their food. Do not eat here. If you have an allergy, they lie to you.
Arthur Chen: I loved it. The atmosphere here in this restaurant is really nice and cozy. The staff were very nice and the food was on point. I ordered the hot plate bibimbap with spicy shrimp and bulgogi. I was recommended here by a fellow Korean co-worker who said the food was good and authentic and that I should try it. I was not disappointed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a cozy experience.
Rob Hulstra: Fast, friendly and their selections are delicious. The Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Chicken lunch boxes are my usual choices. Want to try their Bibimbap. It's a rice bowl topped with all sorts of seasoned sautéed vegetables, marinated meat (usually beef), a fried egg sunny side up, finished with a sprinkle of sesame and generous dollop of a sweet-spicy-savoury Bibimbap sauce. It not only looks great, it's fun to say.
Jacey McAdon: Super cute restaurant!! I have never been to this side of fremont but I'm glad we picked this out ! They even have Japanese beer ! Lol Bagulgi Beef is amazing ! Presentation of food is excellent. All the ladies in there were suuper nice and patient ! It took us a little bit to figure out what we all wanted. Will definitely be back to try different things. Sorry I dug into my beef too quick , I was hungry so yall can look at it mixed in haha just go if you like trying new things !
_aliased: The bulgogi bowl was massive, but it wasn't tender. On the plus side you can see your meal prepped similar to Chipotle. Also, good value for the meal. However, starting to think Americanized bulgogi doesn't understand how to cook the beef properly...

Tong's Thai Restaurant: what do users think?
Serena Villela: The Drunken Noodles with beef are amazing!! We like to add the garlic sauce with ours. The server recommended it and he was exactly right. Some of the appetizers weren’t for us (tried new things) but the items we did order were outstanding. Already been back again!Wheelchair accessibility: All ramps in the building, I noticed. Didn’t use a wheel chair or stroller to test out accessibility in bathrooms though.
Dan Robbins: Service was prompt, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice! Great Crab Rangoon. I had the yellow curry with lots of chicken and vegetables, the medium heat was perfect for my palate.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jonathan: Ok who forgot to tell me about Tong's? I mean that is just cruel! If I had known about Tong's, this review would be five years old by now! I'm glad tho, because I've, unfortunately, had a recent rash of one star reviews. When I started writing reviews, I swore to myself I would not inject more negativity into a world that's already bursting at the seams with it. However, some experiences are so dreadful they need to be shared as a warning to others, in order to try to help them avoid a similar experience. I felt obligated to break a promise I made to myself multiple times and it was getting me down but now I get to write another, well deserved, five star review!Okay you're probably wondering "what about Tong's?". What about it? After sixteen years of industry work and 15 more years of appreciation, I've experienced a lot of culinary delights. I have enjoyed many delicious sensations brought on by a lot of various culinary practices from across the globe. I'll put it like this: my taste buds are jaded and they're used to just about everything. I'm hard to surprise. Tong's literally gave my mouth sensations that I had never experienced before. My wife and I ordered a salad, appetizer and two entrees, and the flavor combinations used in the entrees (all so So SO delicious) were so different from the other, it was surreal. I tried the entree she ordered after taking a few bites of mine and everything just kind of faded away as I got lost in the flavors, it seemed like none of the same seasonings were used however both dishes had flavors that would change and evolve in your mouth, while you chewed! We talked about it while we ate, she's an industry veteran as well. You know that after glow feeling new couples get after they romance each other? Well I have a quite similar after glow feeling from eating Tong's food lol. It IS that good! I have so many words at my disposal: I'm a published journalist (75 + articles, but that's an entirely different story), but all of them miserably fail to impart how good this food is. I'm speechless. Anyway, if you don't know, you should enrich your life by finding out. Who knows? Maybe you'll find your purpose in life! Maybe you'll quit drinking! Maybe your depression will be cured! Maybe you'll invent faster than light travel! I don't know, but I do know you'll be feeling better off in general after eating at Tong's! Go tomorrow!
Rick Hendriks: Spicy Hot Siam beef was very good along with the crab ragoon appetizer we had. Will be going back for more menu items!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

REDICO: Visited New Oriental almost weekly while working in the area. Food quality and quantity is very consistent. Employees are attentive and practice good housekeeping and food handling. Good value for your money. It is not the largest of dining rooms (@ 50 customers max.) Quite often customers in adjacent booths and tables will interact throughout their meal due to the intimacy and casual nature of the dining room.

Cassie Allison: First time trying TWOS, and was pleasently surprised. As people have frequently commented, the General Chicken is good, but the highlight for me was actually the Kimchi Stew. It was an absolute banger, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Rachel Adams: Delicious! It is attached to a gas station, but totally separate so don’t let that stop you. Honestly, the food was AWESOME. It’s a small place but don’t overlook it. Our family had Sesame, Coconut, General Tso, and Sweet and Sour chicken meals with fried rice and crab Rangoon - each thing was super yummy- and we all had to leave with leftovers.

Kai after Dark: what do users think?
Brooke Cashion: In town for a conference and was impressed by the sushi, cocktails & service. Try the Star Wars roll. It was delicious & unique compared to the standard rolls most places offer. They have a great twist to the Crab Rangoons too. Service was exceptional & atmosphere was fantastic.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Star Wars Roll …More

Chris: This place is amazing! I didn't review it the first time I went because I wanted to see the same level of excellence reached two times in a row and boy let me tell you the quality, service, flavor and overall atmosphere of this place is incredible! I worried moving from Dallas that I would not find top notch sushi but this place has got me covered! Excellent experience. Huge shout out to the server who dealt with the extremely picky lady sitting nice to us and did it with such class and patience that even her friends were surprised. 10/10 Date night win!

Chelsea Mendrala: We arrived at the start of dinner on a week night with a party of 3. The host was rather rude, but otherwise our service was outstanding. We ate off both the happy hour and regular menu and enjoyed all of the rolls we ordered (8 total). Our waiter was very attentive, but not obtrusive. He helped us make a few extra choices, which we loved as well. The Lobster Spring Roll was exceptional.Parking: Street parking
Nana Osei: Great food and great services. Ordered Sea bass and spicy seafood soup.

alizee Stricker: Amazing !Rolls were handmade, fresh and super cheap ! (8 cooked rolls for $10 !)Too bad we were just passing through town.Staff was very professional and friendly.Awesome place!
Michael Jurgensmeyer: Booked a reservation for my wifes 30th Birthday Party weeks in advance and two days before the event I find out that the manager “Young” never scheduled us for the date. Both myself and my wife have called and left voicemails with “Young” over the last 2 weeks to make the final arrangements without a call back. Roy at Kai gets 5 stars for doing what he could to make it right.
Tiffany Audu: If I could eat here everyday I would. Not a fan of the naughty school girl drink thoughFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Laura Carr: Our waitress Dawn was fantastic and went above and beyond. Every person working seemed really friendly and helpful. I thought the restaurant was gorgeous and I loved the high backed booths. The asparagus appetizer was delicious, the Wasabi risoto was yummy but not enough heat. I thought the sushi roll we had was perfect and loved the drinks, but I was disappointed in the creme brulee, it wasn't even warm when it got to me. I will be back for sure, though!
Shelli Wood: Recent horrible experience with poor service and mediocre food. All managers were out and one bartender for a Saturday night. Very disappointedFood: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Pete Buckler: Always fantastic sushi!Recommended dishes Volcano Roll, OH My God Roll …More
Elisha H: This place is what I call a one stop shop.So first, the atmosphere was fantastic. It felt like a lounge in Tokyo. I loved the sofa lounges upstairs with the pillows snd the overall feel. Music was on point! And the drink options were fantastic as well as tasty! We had the Rose Collins and it was super refreshing! The food: It was traditional with a twist! Super flavorful and fresh, and lots of interesting options. The miso was the best I have ever had, and the edamame was yummy! They offer a lime to squeeze ontop of the edamame, and I loved it!Now time for the bad: The service was SLOWWW. We got there right when they opened, and there was zero hustle. Now I am a bit picky about service. But we go to a lot lf restaurants and usually the service makes or breaks a place. When we sat down, it was at least 10 minutes before we got water. Our waitress never introduced herself. Then it was at least 15 minutes before I got my drink after ordering it. And atleast 30 minutes before we got our two rolls. Then when I got my roll, we didn't have any soy sauce! So I had to wait another 5-10 mins for that. Now this is what takes the cake. BEWARE THE AUTO GRATUITY. We were a party of two, and upon looking at the receipt we noticed a "large party auto GRATUITY" for a 20% tip. That's a no from me dog. Especially when the hustle was lacking. If the service was good, I woulda let it slide. Granted, the servers weren't rude. They just took forever, and weren't very intuitive. When I asked the waitress she seemed super surprised by it, and said it must have been a mistake and she got us a new receipt. But to be honest with you, I don't think it was a mistake. Seemed like she tried pulling a fast one. I can't prove that, but just take it from me. Look at your receipt. Tipping culture had gotten out of hand.

Margaret Halford: We drove to Springfield for a concert. We moved to the Midwest after years of living in California. We were craving Japanese food, and the desk people at our Hotel told us about Kai. The food was fabulous, as was the service and staff. Don’t miss this place! It’s well worth a visit, and we will return any time we are in the area!
Kelsey Waldon: We had beef sashimi and gyoza for our appetizers. This gyoza was definitely my favorite I've ever had! And Donna was our fabulous host. She was able to answer questions about flavors of different menu items. Great experience. For 2 appetizers and 2 sushi rolls, my husband and I were able to eat for under $50 together here.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sashimi …More
