We took our new Jeep in recently for a standard oil change, and a fluke of a situation seemed to happen that caused a major oil leak and for the Jeep to be out of oil almost completely within two days. While the timing of this was inconvenient and involved lots of concern, towing, a cancelled out of town trip—frustrating circumstances for both sides overall—there’s a lot to be said for how a company handles these types of situations. Mike Shaver: High recommend. They got my car in on very short notice to fix a cooling fan issue while on vacation in Branson. They are a family owned shop with 4 or 5 ASE Certified mechanics. Everyone was professional and pleasant, and had no problems explaining to me what needed to be done and why. Brian Schwarz: This was an extensive repair of the manual transmission clutch replacement including flywheel, input shaft and associated bearings. Plus some routine maintenance of a brake system flush and cooling system flush. In addition to replacing a side mirror and from grill. Given some parts delayed, to be inspected, truck was there for 3 weeks. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and pricing, but most updates were me reaching out to them, not them reaching out to me. When notified ready, the 2 routine maintenance items were not performed and the incorrect grill was installed. Just feel some improvement on communication to me and among themselves is needed for an extended repair like this. Wouldn't call us back. I have my suspicions he never even put it on the rack. When my 18 year old daughter finally got ahold of him finally he tried to sell her a $4800 transmission. His demeanor changed when he realized I was listening to the call. Explaining how he couldn't rebuild it, can't get parts. There was no used transmissions in the area and it would have to be a new crate transmission. I paid the $145 worthless diagnosis fee and took it to ACE transmission in Springfield. FREE DIAGNOSIS and they actually found I was right, it WAS THE TRANSFER case. SO he would have sold my daughter a $4800 transmission and it would have still left her with the original issue on the side of the road. DO NOT GO HERE, absolute swindlers.Terry, if you read this review, I HAVE THE BUSTED TRANSFER CASE PARTS FOR YOU.

I was charged $150 for 'diagnostics'. Your shop called my half deaf husband for the go ahead to replace the alternator when we had never had a problem with it...he had no idea what you had said, he couldn't hear. The total bill was almost a thousand dollars. Do not imply that I'm a liar, I have my invoice. It shows, plainly, that I brought it in to have a pulley replaced.

Lisa LaRue: I was allowed to finance the balance due for getting my car "back to how it was" when I took it to this establishment. What they don't know is that I had a before and after my visit qualified mechanic update me on work done. Mind you I drove my car to work 3 nights a week for a month-and-a-half after local mechanic replace plugs, seals and gaskets and said 3rd cylinder needed diagnosed. Long story short they did not put in the gaskets and seals on the engine that the invoice describes AND even neglected putting all the bolts back in as well as screws holding plastic moldings. I was able to drive the car back home, to the gas station, and around the block before it gave up the ghost crawling back into my driveway where has not been driven since. They performed a '90 point inspection' without permission or request. Cost of alternator at autozone was $67 Cost of battery at walmart was $48. I'm no feminist, but it's a fact that the average female can be taken advantage of in situations involving car repair. So all I told them was that I drive the **** out of my car and it needed an oil change and spark plugs... and if they came across anything else, to let me know. I knew in my heart that if they didn't come back and tell me that I needed, not only tires, but also *something* to do with maintaining the engine (due to my lead foot), then they were not the shop I wanted caring for my car. They came through in true style and bada$$ grace. They explained everything to me and not once did it feel condescending, nor did it feel like a simple upsell.It is so hard to find a good mechanic that one can trust. It makes me cringe every time I think about it. Taking my car to Two Guyz was the best decision I could've made. My car runs like a dream now, and I do not plan to take my vehicles anywhere else in the future! Thank you... Guyz!!

Dale Crabtree: I am hesitant to share but if I don’t it will not make a true review. The Guyz normally don’t due high performance but I talked them into it. I supplied performance parts and well understood the work would be done without warranty. Key word performance ( Hot Rod ) ! But this is the reason for my review. I have never had a group of guys put so much heart into my build always keeping me informed and giving me advice and choices, and never leaving anything to chance, they even called in a specialist when a major component looked questionable. This was huge to me, I have never had a shop admit that they were over their heads and needed help. They would always wing it and I would suffer for it with failed engine , or whatever that was in question. Emily Aldridge: For background, I am 9 months pregnant, literally can go into labor at any time and have a one year old son. The car in the shop? Our only car.We (my son and I) were going to go do grocery shopping when my car overheated and I was completely unable to get it to cool down. My 1 year old was also fed up and upset with the situation. So I had my car towed to this mechanic. It was about 4 in the afternoon, we were all hot and unhappy so I didn't get to call to give them my info or anything. We call first thing the next morning to make sure they have our information and the woman at the front almost immediately was snapping at us for not giving her our information earlier. Which was literally what we were calling to do. We were told our car could get looked at that day or early the next morning.Awesome! So we call later the next day and they still haven't looked at our car, which is fine. But the lady is still short and kind of rude to us. We're told the car would be looked at that day, or AT THE LATEST, would be looked at next Monday. So we think, oh the car could still be looked at tomorrow! (It was Thursday at the time)So Friday we call, and see what's going on with the car. We are welcomed with a long, rude lecture about how mechanics work and how we were told that no mechanic would be in today(which never happened) and we're completely unreasonable for calling. She was yelling at us over the phone when we had been nothing but polite.We were constantly met with rude, snarky comebacks, and never once were given a straight answer about our car. Then yelled at when we tried to get information.We went to pick up our car and now are working on fixing it ourselves. This place is not worth the bullying or extra work.You better make sure you have an extra running car and ample time where you won't need the vehicle you take in. Also be prepared to be berated and bullied by the front office staff.

They took a month to look at my car fully and they left my car unlocked after I specifically told them to keep it locked. When I came to pick up my car it was unlocked and my stereo was gone. I feel like they could of stole it because they have a camera pointing directly towards my car it was token out very clean and I had other valuables in there but was not touched. But either way they left my door unlocked sitting right by the road for who knows how long very unprofessional.
