Rosie Wilder: They have a seemingly large collection for all ages and for men and women. However if you are a woman and need shoes that are a size 9 or higher would NOT recommend this store. I was there for 2 hours and I was lucky if they had a 10 or 11 in stock, and if there was any it was almost always only ONE box. There was not a single size above 11 and there are pretty much no wide options for anything available in store. I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of inclusivity in their sizing. I most likely won't ever be returning.

Cathy Cornett: I had very bad experience at another store up the street yesterday. Came in to the Springfield store like I should have done in the first place. A very sweet employee named Kim helped me immediately and was one of the nicest people I have ever met in a retail store. After bad experience somewhere els and hour drive it was so great to be helped by her. Please give this woman a raise she deserves it. Literally best customer service I ever had.

D.j. Macagno: Went in to Famous Footwear today. All the customers were told to leave because "an active shooter was on Battlefield " a couple miles away. Then same clerk told someone else the shooter was on Indepenance, the street the store is on. I was there in the afternoon and the school insident was around 9:30. After I left the store I checked, there was an active shooter report at Hillcrest School on the other side of town, miles away. But this seems strange to me that the clerk would ask you to go out where she said the shooter was! Is that right? Plus not having the correct information on the location of the shooter. You would think she would make sure. I know it's hard to find good help but, really!

robert reaves: I called to ask if they had a specific type of work boots and was told they had several. When I arrived an hour later, their "selection" was 5 pairs, in sizes only a child could wear. Wasted a trip across town for nothing. Will not be going back.
Noah Woodworth: bait and switch. a form of deceptive advertising that involves luring customers with one price and then charging them a higher price at the point of sale.picked up a pair of shoes in the clearance section, then brought them up to the front they told me that that was the wrong price and then tried to charge me double. I walked out and tried contacting the customer service via email and was ignored, so now I'm just warning people.

Amber Wilson: I love the fact that they have a huge selection of shoes. All different sizes and prices. I also love the fact that right now you can put any shoes on layaway for $2 per pair and have to have them picked up by Christmas eve. The down fall is my daughter is 11 years old and has big feet. They had next to none in size 12 woman's. I literally had to look all over the place to find size 12. None of the shoes are sorted by size. It's all mixed up. I had to go to the counter to get help. They really need more help there in order to help the customers. Then I tried finding me some boots. They had some that would fit my feet but none that would zip all the way up. I don't have huge legs but I do walk 10 miles aday so I do have leg muscles.

KyLee Anette: Had a pretty disappointing experience during my recent visit to Bass Pro Shop here in Springfield, MO. The visit started out pretty good, I went with my family looking for some camping gear. We then stopped at the Riffle Coffee shop for some coffee. The cashier there asked what I wanted and I ordered, things seemed fine at that point in time. I then sat and waited for what seemed like 15 minutes for my drink. Everyone else got their drinks, even people behind me in line received their drinks before I did. I ordered a simple Iced Vanilla Latte. Finally they called my drink out and the taste of the coffee was really horrible. It didn’t taste anything like a latte, more like a cold brew with zero sweetener. I went back to the counter and the cashier who had taken my order earlier was still there. So I asked if it would be possible if they could remake my drink since I spent $6 on it and the young lady didn’t even look up at me and said I could add some sugar, almost as if she was gritting her teeth through the sentence. The ladies in the back didn’t even offer to remake it or even bother to step in. I was pretty upset that I was treated that way. Not sure why the simplest of things are such an inconvenience for some people, but they don’t have to worry about me returning to their coffee shop. I’m a young adult who has literally worked at a coffee shop myself and I never mistreated customers like that. Hopefully Bass Pro Shop can, in the future, train their employees to treat their customers better. Pretty sure the saying is “ The Customer Is Always Right. “

Can't stand this place. You have people selling firearms or ammunition that can't even spell firearm.

We always find some cool stuff every time we go that they just don't have at local outdoor stores. It's an hour drive for us and we still visit at least a couple times a year.

Sherry OBrien: I ordered 2 twin blankets. They were delivered to a store across the country from where I am. It took me contacting them 4 times. They only refunded me half of what I paid. No one is responding to my request for the rest of my money. I will not recommend them to anyone and I will not shop there since they literally stole my money.

Wasn't a very pleasant visit with my grandpa. As he almost got to the car the guy came out and said for him to come back in so he could take the security device off. So I took the stuff in for grandpa since he's hunched over and can barely walk.
