Makenzie burnheimer: We got 2 rooms for 3 nights at this location. You get what you pay for. The rooms were ok, no odor, and decently clean. Janky wood doorframes and soap holders in the bathrooms. Housekeeping never came during our 3 day stay. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms with microwave and mini fridges inside. A few vending machines for drinks and snacks. Pool area was decent. It is in a good location with a lot of food , shopping nearby.

Definitely one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in!The room had definitely been remodeled recently. brad kertz: We made our reservation three weeks in advance through a third party website. Upon our check-in, our reservation couldn't be located. Emails and app information was displayed to the receptionist.After some typing he asked us if we had made our reservation between two specific dates. I said we did, the date was on the confirmation email. He proceeded to inform us that their computer system was down during that time and due to full occupancy, there was nothing he could do.I asked "there's NOTHING you can do?" He said because we had booked through a third party and not through them, he couldn't do anything.I felt something COULD have been done, a voucher or something to accommodate for their computer system being down. It is not the cutomers fault that their system was down for multiple days.The clerk could have done SOMETHING, but instead, chose to do nothing.My brother and his family didn't have any issues due to them making their reservations a few days after ours. His room seemed pleasant enough.

Jessica Williams: My stay at Holiday Inn & Suites Springfield was great, the staff was lovely, they accommodated my room with a large mini fridge and a microwave to help me since I was staying for two weeks while my apartment complex was reparing the plumbing in my apartment. I enjoyed the free wi-wi and cable, not yo mention, I loved the convenience of being able to go down to the lobby to buy a few sodas and snacks. They also have a lovely restaurant that is affordable as well as delicious. The place is clean, sofisticated and very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to anyone, it's my second time staying there at this hotel, last time I was there for about only a few days, but I'm glad I got to stay a bit longer this time. Also the housekeeping do a great job cleaning the rooms and getting you anything you are needing also, whether it be towels, extra trash bags, coffee, creamer, sugar and coffee cups, you name it, they will get it for you. And if you forget to pack an essential grooming item like shampoo, conditioner, soap, a comb, razor, toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. no need to worry, the hotel has your back! They offer essential that you've forgotten by request; call the front desk and they will get them right to you!Rooms: Rooms are very clean and spacious and you can have mini fridge and microwave upon request.Nearby activities: There are several restaurants and the 4th biggest Walmart in the US just up the road from the hotel.Walkability: There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, as well as the 4th biggest Walmart in the US.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant inside the hotel as well as snacks and drinks and ice cream etc sold down in the lobby also. And there are several restaurants nearby and the 4th biggest Walmart in the US is just up the road I'd you wanted to buy your own food and drinks, you can request a mini fridge and microwave for your room and if they are out of microwaves you are allowed to use the one in the lobby.Noteworthy details: They also have free hi-speed wifi and wheelchair accessible rooms too.

Good breakfast, typically high-calorie though because it’s the Midwest and there aren’t a lot of healthy options as far as breakfast goes here. They did have Chobani Greek yogurt cups and wrapped apples and bananas.*They charge a different rate depending on the busy-ness of the hotel, so we got charged increasingly higher rates each night.

Melissa Moyers: Don’t confuse this property with the near brand new Holiday Inn *Express* about a mile down the road. This one is big, but OLD. They have done some minor renovations but the room we were in was not. Or at least if it was, it was minimal. There’s not a free breakfast here. The drain in our room’s bathroom sink was extremely slow, shower was just eh. Beds eh. They also took upwards of 90 minutes just to bring us up bedding for the pull out sofa, after calling twice and going down to the front desk once. This was at 11:30 at night and by the looks of the parking lot, they were not heavily booked by any means. Frustrating when you have an 8 year old that needs to go to sleep. There are plenty of hotels surrounding this one. Until they are fully renovated, I would 100% go elsewhere.

This did not come close to my expectations for a holiday inn and suite.Although it's obviously been remodeled and is undergoing more work, the bathroom is old and the air conditioning/ heater rattled all night.Finally, I was shocked to find that this supposed quality hotel, did not offer anything in the morning except the coffee in the room. Other than that, your only option is a $12 buffet.Essentially, I got a $75 room for $150. That's unacceptable.I was very disappointed and will not be staying here again.

Steffany Tinnin: This is less about the place being a total dump despite attractive photos online and more about our reservation being given away because they were overbooked. I reserved a 2 room suite because I traveled with my two toddlers and parents - and I confirmed our stay 24 hours in advance - and still showed up to the front desk with a totally different room with a sleeper sofa in lieu of a second room with a queen bed. The kicker - they still charged us for a 2-bedroom suite! So they forced me to be a Karen and go back down to the front desk to discuss this, and they acted like it was a huge favor to us to charge us the appropriate rate for the room they put us in. They also seemed confused and didn’t have any direct answers for us because it’s obviously cringy to look at people and have to tell them they gave their room away. They also tried to talk me off the ledge by asking questions like “you DO have a sleeper sofa, right?” Insinuating that I should just be accepting of the room change. The 2-bedroom suite is the only reason I even booked at this refurbished 80’s motel. They gave us two drink tickets to the bar as compensation. We went to the bar, the poor bartender was way overworked. They had two white wines and one red, that’s it. My husband ended up sleeping on Memaw’s crusty estate sale sofa pullout with our son, and even though my daughter and I got the king bed, I was kept up by the sounds of the crinkly plastic wrapped mattress and popping springs every time one of them rolled around. In addition to all of this, my husband showered in the morning and my son asked ‘what’s that sound?’ And I told him it was an elephant, because it’s the most accurate comparison for the noise the shower handle made when he turned it on and off. This was a huge reminder for why I stay in VRBOs.

Tracy Goza: Was here on business for the week. I've always had great stays in Holiday Inns. The lobby area looks nice. I stayed on the 4th floor and that room had major issues. This is the first Holiday Inn that doesn't offer a refrigerator in the rooms. I asked the lady at the front desk and was told there were no refrigerators available for the rooms. The sink was slow draining, a lot of calcium build up on the shower head (which caused the water to come out slow). The vent in the bathroom was stopped up with lint. Rust in the tub and had hair on the side of the tub. When I informed the same lady at the front desk all she would say is Sorry. I would not recommend this place. You will be disappointed.

I didn't use any of the amenities like the pool or gym but I really like the rooms. They have a fridge and microwave, small seating area with a desk. Modern feeling bathroom. I like that this location had a door to the shower, unlike another location that had just a half wall, resulting in some water on the ground from the splash. The TV also easily connected to your phone to play Netflix or YouTube. Huge plus. Breakfast was simple and enjoyable.

This hotel room has got to be the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Seriously impressed. Not a stray hair in the bathroom (and I LOOKED), not a crumb on the counter, not a stain on a towel or sheet. I'm extremely impressed and was much more comfortable.I didn't utilize any amenities so I cannot attest to them, but the pool, exercise room, and business center areas all looked adequate and the lounge was welcoming with modern furniture and board games. The outdoor seating area had a fire table and grill. Really cute space.My room was quite large, with a pull out trundle sofa and a nice kitchette area with a coffeemaker, small fridge and microwave...always appreciated. Tastefully decorated with modern classic look that invites relaxation. Quiet halls. Comfortable bed. TV that swiveled toward bed or living room space.Highly recommend!

Bryce Hogan: Booked a room for the hotel through AGODA. Great price ($45) and good location so thought it would be a great choice. Get to the hotel to check in and it has a $250 security deposit required. It doesn't say anything about this on the info page about the hotel on Agoda and it doesn't say anything about this on the Super 8 website for this hotel. When I was surprised when they asked for it and said I wanted to cancel the guy at the desk became very rude and upset. Didn't make it past the lobby but just with what I was dealing with trying to check in I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Nieto-Pratt: This place was a God send, to make a long story short Expedia messed my reservation up and when I went to reverse it, Expedia was not going to give me my money back due to a large pet deposit that the owner was nice enough to lower for me (Expedia never mentioned a pet deposit) he was also able to get my money back from Expedia and I have also stayed two extra nights due to the snow storm. Very nice management and people who work here. The manager called Expedia for me, and let them know he refuse to have his guests treated this way from Expedia. Thank you for the nice stay and getting my money back from Expedia.

Eric Morris: First room we stayed in had roaches, and they were big. They said "they just sprayed yesterday" but I can tell that's a line they use daily. Second room the put us in a roach ran across the floor as soon as we opened the door. Third room had NO HOT WATER, burn holes in the blankets, stained sheets and pillow covers, food or something on the curtains. No maitanece has been done here for quite some time.

She was taking a nap and heard someone opening her room door, I guess the front desk didn’t know she was there which doesn’t make any sense when she already checked in. The front desk gave another man the room, especially if it’s a girl and a random man tries to open the door you’ll feel like they are trying to do something. She doesn’t feel safe and couldn’t get any sleep that night, thankfully the dogs was there to protect her. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. Y’all need to do better this is a major issue, no rules and regulations here just pure trash.

Jason Michael: Been here a month so far and it's been amazing!! Ann and Sam along with rest of staff are amazing. Not stuck up and will talk to you. Other guest are a joy to actually talk to and not drugged up like last place we were at(Motel 6) and family feels safe here and we get out more here and can actually walk to store and or around block/outside without encountering a crackhead(s). Rooms are A LOT bigger and nicer/cleaner and a/c works better as well. Also no bugs of ANY kind here unlike Motel 6 which infested with cockroaches and bed bugs. Not to mention drug addicts and homeless

Joshua James (Compleximpact LLC): My Stay? I didn't even get to stay... I actually had customers that were more helpful than the hotel itself. Whoever was there on 07/20/2022 at 9pm - 12am was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never in my life had worse customer service than I did tonight in my entire life. Not only were they not there when we arrived to check us in, I had customers trying to help us out more than the hotel itself. Additionally, the personnel that night kicked us off the property after being offended we were there to check in after waiting for almost an hour to check in to their hotel. This hotel was absolutely garbage from just the start. The personnel working that night was terrible, I contacted customer service who sided with the person working at the hotel who then called the police on us and sent us away and did not offer a refund on the hotel. I will never recommend this hotel, nor ever stay at this hotel ever again.

Straight Shooter: I paid two weeks in advance but events transpired and I had to leave after one week and they told me they don’t do refunds… so out a weeks rent…rooms are nice but I don’t appreciate staff going into my room with me absent during the day to “inspect”. It’s run like a prison with searches at will,,,I will be warning everyone on every website to avoid this. The personnel appeared friendly but I was a fool to trust them. Behavior like this will reap some heavy karma…

Samantha Hayston: Such a s***** place to go. It's not clean. It has violent out of control tenants. None of the management is even there. Half the time to control said tenants nor actually watch after the property. As of lately, I've heard it's been getting a hell of a lot worse.

Tosha Farris: I got a call 2 hrs before check in and was told " Sorry your room was overbooked". I explained the situation about really needing the room and how i called weeks prior and made a reservation. They said "they would see what they can do". Did not get a double bed like we had reserved. We paid $125 for one night and my Aunt and mother (who has Cancer) (both in their 60's) was given one full bed and a hideabed. Outlet did not work in bathroom, no hot water for shower, room was complete empty otherwise. I called and talked to Eden and she was very rude about it and told me there's nothing she can do about it. She told me that her manager Shawna wouldn't be in "for a month". I say Good luck to anyone making reservations, you may or may not get a room or a comfortable bed to sleep in.

Teh01: Overall wasn’t bad. Room was spacious and convenient location to activities. Water pressure is absolutely terrible. If you have long and/or thick hair, don’t plan on washing it here. You’ll never get all the shampoo out and will be itching. My kids couldn’t take a bath cause tub stopper apparently didn’t work properly. They were accommodating when the a/c and thermostat weren’t working in one of the rooms. The front desk clerk came up within minutes and fixed the unit so we could use it, but the thermostat remained unusable. We had requested early check in but apparently that doesn’t mean much because they clean the rooms in whatever order they wish rather than cleaning the rooms of people that requested early check in first. They were able to get us in about 45 minutes early by us opting for a different room than originally planned. All and all I think they were just recovering from a very busy day before (completely full) when it came to the early check in thing. I would stay again if it wasn’t for the water pressure. Just didn’t feel fresh after a shower there which stinks.

Jennifer Gromada: The location rating is low because it's next to the hospital, so there's helicopter and ambulance siren activity all night.The bed was comfortable, and room temperature control was wonderful. Unfortunately, the bedroom tv stopped working 2nd day of 3 nights. They were unable to fix it but offered to move me. I stayed, not a huge deal.I had requested extra towels prior to check-in, but they were not provided. Service issue, but otherwise, everything else was in order.Loved having a coffee maker, although with the breakfast downstairs, there wasn't much of a need for one.The folks working at the breakfast bar were all very nice and helpful when people came down. It was nice to see/hear it.The night gal could have been a smidgen nicer. With the tv issue, I asked if she could try and explain some trouble shooting over the phone, and she said no, she'd have to come into my room, which I was trying to avoid. Turns out during COVID they had to explain lots over the phone due to not have personal contact. Just wish it could have been handled better.I wouldn't stay again simply because of the sirens and helicopter noise at night.

Rachel Jones: Overall a pretty good hotel. I would say don't plan on the hotel restaurant for your dinner though and don't book this hotel for that reason only if you're planning a quick dinner experience after a long day. They only have pizza which is disappointing when they advertise as a fancy restaurant with a seasonal menu created by a chef. They also don't really do room service. Just telling you if you're a food person like me, so you don't end up on an hour long food quest in Springfield like I did. I did at least really like the bartender lady, though, and she made a strong drink! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Overall a good stay. Didn't feel unsafe in the parking area although other people experienced issues.Rooms: I really liked the lap desk included in the room!Food & drinks: Your restaurant is false advertising. Having pizza only is disappointing when it's marketed as a seasonal restaurant from a chef. I might not have booked this hotel if I had known.

Bruce G: My wife and I stayed here on 4/29/23. The room was very nice, comfy bed, big bathroom. Nice hot breakfast with many choices. My only complaint with breakfast is I found the coffee to be a little on the weak side, not much flavor.The door to our room was quite heavy and difficult to push open as I suspect might be true with all the rooms. Because of this, the doors are very noisy when latching. I'm generally not a light sleeper, but that night I believe I heard every door on our floor shut throughout the night.The hotel is very easy to find which I really appreciate! We had reservations at the Brazilian steakhouse ReRico this night which was just across the parking lot within walking distance. Very convenient. We would stay here again.
