Cox Plaza Hotel: what do users think?
Sherri Cheffey: This is a good place to stay if you are going to have some tests ran and need to be close to cox hospital or if a family member is in the hospital and you want to be close. The rooms are clean and I have stayed in them several times through the years when family was in the hospital.Walkability: Just cross othe Skywalk to cox hospital and you are close to be with loved ones in hospital or if you are having chemo at Hulston center and you live out of town or family is having surgery or had surgery at cox hospital you can stay at the hotel and just walk over through the sky walk the Hulston center is in the same building as the hotel.
Johnny Nelson: Very nice room and price at 85.00 hard be beat. This is as good as Best West Motel 8 Holiday InnRooms: Bed in a Full size bed not quite a queenSafety: Connecting tunnel to the hospital from hotel

Charlotte Jordan: Cox South hospital saved my wife's life you will never hear me talk bad about this place ever. These people are Lifesavers and I highly recommend staying at their hotel. I absolutely love everybody there and thanks to all of you
Lynn Slusser: Room very drafty and cold. Mini blinds broken, twisted and cord to openand close not in working order. Bright lights in parking lot and could not close out light. Not happy and front desk not helpful at all.Rooms: Barley mediocre!Safety: Handicapped bar, only one next to toilet's commode to close against the wall to grip at all. Right under your elbow to get a safe grip to get up from toilet. Poorly placed to be safe. Useless! Not at all happy. Ask for another room but was told none available.
Roger Bowers: Nice place for overnite patients with illnesses.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mike Potter: Clean rooms with easy access to Cox Hospital. Great parking.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Donna Wagner: Sadly, the only downside to my stay was not that I couldn't get a hot breakfast include in the price, it was I couldn't get a HOT shower. Apparently, they are aware of the water issue, stating hot water to my room and the other hotel tooms have been a problem ever since changes were made to the 7th floor for the doctors and no plans are in the works to remedy it .If it had not been for the hot water issue, I would have given the hotel 5 stars.
William Woodrow: A great night stay...very hospititable.Walkability: Could walk to the hospital.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
President Camachojr: Only one star because I can't put zero.Noteworthy details: F' this place. There's no way to let you in after certain hours so you have to call security to let in. You'll have to wait a few hours to get in the room you paid for, then you'll find out real quick the security went to the Derek Chovin school of law enforcement. Nothing like getting Interrogated by someone who's badge has gone to their head as your loved ones may be dying across the street. Never again. I also no faith the security is capable of stopping anything of real after my experience, all they could do is harass normal folks then call the real cops. 👊🎤
chad Odom: This is an excellent place to stay if you have an appointment at the hospital for a surgery. Clean rooms and excellent service. Price is right. Would recommend it.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Robert Bickel: If you are a parent of an 18 month old, view this!We wanted to take a little vacation but with a small child, we didn’t want to go too terribly far. We decided to go to Springfield and found the Oasis through different hotel searches. We’re glad we found it and stayed there! The front desk staff were pleasant, nice, and so helpful. The location was great! North Springfield gets a bad rap for no reason. We ran into no problems, the hotel is gated, and beautifully maintained. For the 18 month olds, the splash pad they have was the perfect size! Your little one will be so excited to splash in it and never want to get out.Room was a great size, the bathroom was updated, beds comfy, and AC worked great. We stayed two nights and loved every minute of it. Highly recommend to families that may have little ones or even big ones because the pool is a great size too! Thanks so much!
Edwin Simmons: Advertised a balcony room, opened on a cement wall and fence. Room was not serviced, had to go get our own towels, coffee, etc. at the front desk. Ayanna Black: I tried booking with them and was told that they don’t use Apple Pay and wouldn’t take my card information by reading it. And then she hung up on me for asking more questions. Not the greatest customer service for someone looking for a room for one night with a 2 year old.
Nikko Skaggs: A very beautiful hotel!Well maintainedThe staff is super friendly!Easy to find everything.Rooms: The rooms are super nice and clean!Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants near by

Samantha Scott: This was our second visit here. We love this place. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. We never have any troubles. This time we purchased a stay package. It was our wedding anniversary. It included roses on the bed, chocolate covered strawberries, wine, a gift certificate for their restaurant fire and ice and a massage for us both. We had such a great relaxing time. The beds are comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful time.

loreeliz M: Can you say biggest regret of my life immediately after my ex-husband. Dirty stained torn carpet ac that doesn't work. I believe this might be one of the original mattress that the settlers brought with them when they came to Missouri. Sagging hard with a hard bar dissecting from top to bottom in the middle. Let's not forget the impact driving and the saw directly outside my rooms door that no one mentioned would be occuring as soon as I finally fell asleep in that awful bed and smelly room. So not worth stopping don't do it save yourself the regrettable experience!!!Even all this time later my skin crawls when I think of this place.
James Keeter: OK we stayed here many years for Amen's conference always been a great stay last year. We stayed somewhere else and we regretted it.The only reason we had to stay somewhere else was because they were under renovation. We got to come back this year's service was fantastic. They even moved the couch that was missing out of the room and then also the price was perfect and the rooms looked perfect with the new renovations.

Sheri Stewart: I have stayed here several times. They give a discount for customers that are staying with them having medical procedures done. They are remodeling their rooms as well. Our room was clean, but the bathroom switch light was out and the a/c heater unit controls were broken ( it was too late to call maintenance, maintenance was fixing the repairs the next day) . Kelsey was super sweet, checked us into a room next door to our original room. Kelsey was very helpful with giving us extra pillows and even a fan, plus allowing us to check out a bit later due to the doctor appointment time being later in the afternoon. Will stay with them again in the future.

johanna wood: I recently spent a few days here on a break during my cross country move. The rooms and lobby are impeccably clean, and the employees are wonderful. It was a perfect experience, i couldn't ask for anything to be improved. :) VERY comfortable beds, too!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Albert Gautieri: Very nice and clean which is evident as you walk in -it's sparkling clean and the breakfast bar is one of the best we've had.Great location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Elesha Jones: This is one of the best hotels we stayed at and we've stayed at hundreds. Customer service, friendliness was amazing. Food was delicious. Outdoor areas to relax, basketball court and pool were enjoyable.Rooms: Rooms were beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen area was perfect and room/bathroom wasn't too tight even for four adults sharing a two queen studio.
TC L: This hotel is a year old and one of the cleanest extended stays I have been to. We had a double queen suite. The suite had a pull out sofa, fridge, dishwasher and electric stove. The suite has a TV and the bedroom has one as well. Breakfast is very good and on Wednesday they have a social with food and drinks. I generally find something I would improve, but this hotel at this point in time has been my best stay outside of a Disney World property stay. I am concerned that they are following the fad of allowing cats and dogs to stay. Although I am a pet owner and love my dog, allowing pets will lead to smells and other issues. ThePlaces that allow pets in every room generally have a urine smell somewhere in the room, hallway or entry. I hope this doesn't happen to this place because I will stay here again on my way to Dallas.Rooms: Clean and modern.Safety: Never felt unsafe.
Smith Familyof4: Highly recommend this Homewood Suites. We (family of 4) stayed here on our way from St. Louis to Big Cedar Lodge which is passed Branson. It is very new & clean with huge rooms. We stayed in a 2 queen room with pullout sofa which still leaves plenty of floor space for all of our suitcases & belongings. Usually when the sofa is out you have to squeeze around everything.Breakfast was great for a free continental breakfast with the usually eggs, bacon, make your own waffle, bread, bagels, fruit, yogurt & juice. Not only would we stay here again, we are. We decided to stay again on our way back to St. Louis to give us more time to explore BCL & Branson. The 2nd night we enjoyed the basketball court area & barely missed the Wednesday night evening reception. (Sounded like a good feast. )Close by stay for Fantastic Caverns (fun), Bass Pro shop's aquarium (did not do), Natural Science Musem & world's largest fork (free & doing both today), Lamberts is only a few excited away too.Rooms: Huge clean, comfortable rooms.Nearby activities: Fantastic Caverns, Lamberts, World's Largest Fork, Natural Science Museum, Bass Pro aquarium all nearbySafety: Felt very safe, never worried about the parking lot. It's well lit. The hotel is clean feels safe.Walkability: There are a few restaurants, drug store grocery stores you could walk to.
Buzz M: Wel.... I assume this is hotel os brand new and they're working out the kinks. I received a handicapped room. Not a big deal. The dishwasher had dirty dishes. Again not a big deal. The microwave was beeping. Unplugged it. Hot water at 6am took 7 minutes to reach the 4th flloor shower head. No towel rack or hook near the shower. Just a bunch of little items. Great employees, quiet, and of course new. I would stay again 👍Walkability: Sidewalks nearby for safe walking and plenty of food options nearby (7 minute walk). Try Whiskey-Tango!
Amanda McBee: Beautiful hotel. Clean and well decorated rooms. The staff is friendly and the hot breakfast bar was outstandingRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More

Diane Rich: This Homewood Suites was a fantastic hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the location was perfect and the service was great.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Susan Miller: This is the best Homewood we have ever stayed in. The rooms are big and spacious. Every associate we encountered knew the meaning of customer service. Gina at the front desk noticed when checking in that we had a handicap room we didn't need and changed it to what we wanted. The front desk manager and associate were extremely friendly and helpful. Housekeeping took care of our every need. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.
K H: Very clean motel. Nice amenities. Large rooms. Stand in shower with sliding door. (No tub). Very clean heated indoor pool. (Unfortunately no hot tub). Pet friendly if you need that. Friendly staff. Pull out bed has a very nice mattress. Coffee and tea available 24 hr in lobby. Our personal neg/critiques: Main beds are little too firm. Water pressure is lacking. Wish they would put a clock in pool area. A/C control was a bit confusing or messed up. Wall control and actual thermostat on ac unit we’re always different. Seemed like the wall thermo wasn’t working at all. Bedroom was able to cool once we set the actual unit (not wall). Main room neither controls seemed to work. Wasnt a big issue for us since it wasn’t too warm, and we weren’t there that much.Overall would definitely stay there again!Final tip: DONT PARK BY BASKETBALL COURT. Was watching some kids playing and fence isn’t high enough to block the over shots. Ball went over and nearly hit the white car. Maybe Hilton should add an extra layer of fencing at the top.
Stacy Griser: The room was spacious, beautiful, and clean. This is obviously a newer hotel. There are multiple outlets everywhere and even a Qi charger. The kitchenette had everything one could need. Excellent location with multiple restaurants close by. The gym looked well equipped. There's even a basketball court. All the staff were courteous and professional. The hotel is pet friendly with a nice pet area. The only very small complaint is there was no hook on the back of the bathroom door.

julie madl: Everything was perfect except the fact that I was charged another $250 for a smoke free charge because the lady at the front desk said it smelled of cannabis. I told her that I DO smoke but that I only smoked off the balcony ONLY and that is why I booked a balcony. I told her that I am always a polite smoker and I smoke outside. I’m assuming when I open or closed the balcony door that the smell could travel back into with wind . I told the front desk that it was a ridiculous charge considering that cannabis is legal for consumption n Missouri, and not to mention I have a state issued medical card. Front desk lady said that it is a smoke free room, for which I agreed and said that I smoked outside only. She said that the other guests deserved a smoke free environment. To which I have no quarrels with that statement except the fact that I used my own private balcony that was on the third floor and smoke rises and no one above my floor. So, that is why I would not suggest to anybody to stay at this Residence Inn because I was charged an extra $250 for a “smoking violation - n the room” when I did not smoke n the room, I smoked off the balcony. Therefore, if u r a smoker of any kind , don’t stay here!

Ronnie Warren: When I first started working there it's was a good place to work for then in last 3 months it turned out bad the manger of housekeeping writes you up because you have a bad knee health problem but between her and the General manager you have to kill yourself because they want all your rooms done so they can make money and they don't care about their employees and the manger of housekeeping is two faced she has her friends who she lets them get away with everything and if you stay don't tear anything up or they will charge you card 250.00 for damage.
Kevin R.: Nice place for a short stay. Nice rooms, nice kitchens, good breakfast. I experienced some very minor issues that keep this from being 5 stars.Dishes still in the dishwasher, although clean. Bathroom fan not working, ice maker in fridge VERY loud at night and heater loud when it kicks on, and little hairs left on soap wall in shower. All small things but over all a good stay
Eric Westerman: Very courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable staff willing to assist any way they can. My room was very clean, organized, and functional. These rooms have the small full kitchen. It was so nice to have a small but full size refrigerator, a couple of burners, and the pans and dishes to cook and eat meals on the road without eating out or ordering in. The separate bedroom is always nice in these suites for a better nights sleep. Outdoor pool and nice common sitting area, status quo workout facilities with the addition of a cable machine, dumbells to 40 pounds, 2 treadmills, 2 recumbent tyoe bikes, and an eliptical. Breakfast with the room too. To all the staff, very nice and thank you, much appreciated when away from home!!!Rooms: Rooms are well equipped and great if you want a decent kitchen to prepare meals from, dishwasher included.Nearby activities: Close to multiple attractions and right off the highway.Safety: This establishment is amongst other nice hotels.Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants of all types less than a mile radius of here.Noteworthy details: Very clean room and very knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous staff.
Kim Price: It was dirty! Hair in the shower, the shower doors were nasty, the drawers had hair and toothpaste in them, the shower was stopped up, the stove was nasty, the A/C didn't work and there were ants all over the room.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Nick C.: We had a quick one night stay and had the two-bedroom suite. It was clean, spacious, and had two bathrooms. We will definitely stay again - the only complaint is when you exit the hotel you have to make a right turn (heading north) as it's on a one-way street. Small complaint for such a great (and affordable) stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More

Matt Smith: They remolded this place three years ago and it still looks like a new building. Breakfast included.
Bryan Harris: Staff was friendly and breakfast was warm and tasty. The fixtures are a little dated, but the room was large and comfortable. I will say if they put you in building three make sure you get an odd numbered room. The even numbers are in the highway side and it is loud.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Amanda Savoie: We’ve stayed here multiple times. Checked in late last time, behind the glass. Young man forgot to give me back my license. They waited for me to return to get it almost two weeks later. When I called, they told me they had it and they held it for me. We prefer the bottom floors. They’re nicer and cleaner, no carpet.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Springfield: what do users think?
Scot Moore: Sky was a true professional and very helpful. She really made out stay here much more calming during a very difficult time. Thank you 😊Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
danny wohlleber: Stayed here June 9 - June 11 2023. The rooms were overpriced for what was delivered. Front desk was rude, had an attitude right away. A line was halfway through the lobby and was very slow. They did not hold up on their online reservations, they argued with me for about 5 minutes. We booked 2 rooms online, had the confirmation #, they did not care, so I had to book another room, they didn't say that they were sorry or since they messed up--they should have offered an apology or a room, or anything. We went to the room and the mattress was hard, no refrigerator or microwave, we did not have free wi-fi, could not get our temperature in the room where we wanted it, and had to pay for breakfast. As much as they charge, it should have been free. In 1 of the rooms, we did not have hot water, called the maintenance man. As soon as he got there he had an attitude, like he didn't want to work. Instead of offering a different room, said it will be okay. When you get on the elevator, make sure you have a room card on you, even if your hands are full with luggage, cause the elevator only works with the card. On our way out, no one said thanks for staying with us, rude, rude, rude. An absolute disappointment. Make sure you stay away from this place.
Erin Haines: 2 queen clean, front desk was great, quiet even with dogs on other floors.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Dan Basnett: Not impressed. I stayed here last about 13 years ago and it looks basically the same, just more run down. The rooms are comfortable but require major updating. There are water stains on the ceiling tiles, loose ceiling tiles, dust and rust on lamps and fixtures and dirty switches. I'm Hilton Diamond and there was no upgrade. I was told there were 4 suites and because O'Reilly's owns this hotel and has many managers and other visitors they get the rooms first. There is no executive lounge and little in the way of amenities. We had a much better experience at the Hilton Tru a few miles away. I will not stay at this Doubletree again. The attached Houlihans restaurant has also gone down hill in terms of service and cleanliness. There are better dining choices in the Springfield area.

Phillip Bassett: I go to Springfield often but typically stay in a different area. Stayed here to be closer to other family that came to town. This may be my new spot to stay. I like how easy it was to get on and off the highway. The facilities were very nice and clean. The rooms were nice, have in room safes. There is an indoor pool and gym, but be sure to grab a key. Their app doesn't open the pool and gym doors. There is a nice on-site restaurant as well as a breakfast buffet.
Justin Ingraham: The rooms were nice. I was upgraded to a suite so it was spacious. The only drawback was a decent amount of dust on the walls. The AC in the bedroom was hit or miss. Location wise this was perfect. There were so many restaurants available, entertainment options that the group I was with thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff was very friendly. The atrium was updated but the individual rooms could use a refresh.
Tom O'Brien: Food & drinks: Just need to learn how to make stronger coffee. Very weak lobby and restaurant. You need a dark roast and sugar in the raw.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Jason (Cookies39): Nice hotel with nice staff...comfortable stayRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Lewis DeCarlo: The hotel needs to replace the towels and wash cloths. They are warn out. Difficult to find parking.Noteworthy details: Over priced for whst was offered. They need to get into the bathrooms. Clean and/or replace shower head and faucet. Towels and wash cloths were like sandpaper. No mini fridge. Hotel was nothing special. Over priced for what it is.
Carey Burtwill: Diamond member writing review. Greeted politely by front desk, mentioned at check-in to please check on available upgrade. Sorry. Interesting, chose this property because we were told a few days before I confirmed the reservation, they would make notes and do their best. Upon check in, no notes, therefore, no upgrade. Nice. (I didn’t mention there’s 3 cars in the whole parking lot. Yes, I actually counted). No problem, traveling for work so I settle into my room, pull out my laptop, looking for ottoman, can you guess? Yep, no ottoman. Called desk, reply from front desk, sorry, there’s no ottoman in the entire property. Okay, well that’s a first.Looking for refrigerator, can you guess? Nope, no little refrigerator.3 strikes and I’ve been here less than an hour, you decide but the photos on their website must be from a different property.I’m generally loyal to Doubletree, plus 50 nights a year, I recommend checking your options elsewhere when in Springfield.
Michael Blair: Check-in is at 3PM...not 5PM. Coming from out of town and attending an event last evening we were on a tight timeline. We called ahead to make sure our reservations were still being honored since someone else in our party had their rooms cancelled and were left with big headache when they finally arrived. When we called ahead they stated they were cleaning our rooms and never once indicated that there would be such a delay. We arrived at 3:30PM and after checking into our two conjoining rooms they informed me that the rooms had not been cleaned yet. I explained that we were on a timeline and asked if we were looking at 15 minutes or 3 hours to which I was told "I do not know and cant answer that." An hour and a half later we finally got into our room. A phone call or advanced notification that the rooms were not ready would have been appreciated. I asked for a discount since I was paying for something I could not use and was only provided a voucher for food. Front desk then tried to deny our access to go upstairs stating we weren't allowed in the elevators or stairwells since we were not confirmed guests yet. We had family staying in the hotel and were going to go up and see them. There were multiple other parties in the lobby waiting for their rooms to be cleaned as well. The front desk denied the ESA for our dog and charged a $50 deposit. (*Update - I called after I got home to inquire about their ESA policy and the same woman at the front desk answered and said she did not know and would connect me to the hotel manager. After 10 minutes she came on the line and said I am transfering you now, the manager never picked up the phone. I then called the hotel back a couple times and the front desk did not answer my call but rather letting it ring until their system ended the call.)I signed the paperwork stating which room we would have our dog in but once we saw our rooms we choose to stay in the other room. When I walked up to check out this morning the same lady was there that helped me the day before and she immediately said "housekeeping saw you take the dog into the other room so I am applying a $50 deposit to this room as well". She immediately jumped to accusing me of something instead of asking about the situation. The management is awful, unwilling to help their customers, lie constantly to their customer and lack basic communication skills. The current management team should be replaced or at a minimum retake every customer service training program that Hilton requires.

Holiday Inn & Suites Springfield - I-44, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Ricky Mann: The hotel is currently undergoing construction and will be until April of 2024 according to the sign in the lobby they are "proud" of. We have been here from 6-8-23 until 6-11-23 for the VFW State Convention. We had our rooms here as an overflow hotel to the Oasis. Upon arrival, they did not have our reservations ready, even though we booked in March, and we are scattered across 5 different floors. The A/C does the best it can to keep it at 75⁰F. The shower head will beat you up and randomly turns on. There are 2 elevators in a confusing location on the opposite end of where most of the rooms are located. Housekeeping does come by daily though. Most hardly speak English. FYI, it is dead silent at night. Fan sleepers come prepared! Today, one of my members received a call he was being kicked out due to construction and they did not have a new room ready, nor would one be available. He decided to drive the 5 hours home instead. The best they could do was a voucher for the overpriced breakfast. A Veteran. The hotel currently has 2 working ice makers for the whole building. We have decided to NOT patronize this location for any future events.Nearby activities: Dispensary across the street that delivers.
Jessica Williams: My stay at Holiday Inn & Suites Springfield was great, the staff was lovely, they accommodated my room with a large mini fridge and a microwave to help me since I was staying for two weeks while my apartment complex was reparing the plumbing in my apartment. I enjoyed the free wi-wi and cable, not yo mention, I loved the convenience of being able to go down to the lobby to buy a few sodas and snacks. They also have a lovely restaurant that is affordable as well as delicious. The place is clean, sofisticated and very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to anyone, it's my second time staying there at this hotel, last time I was there for about only a few days, but I'm glad I got to stay a bit longer this time. Also the housekeeping do a great job cleaning the rooms and getting you anything you are needing also, whether it be towels, extra trash bags, coffee, creamer, sugar and coffee cups, you name it, they will get it for you. And if you forget to pack an essential grooming item like shampoo, conditioner, soap, a comb, razor, toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. no need to worry, the hotel has your back! They offer essential that you've forgotten by request; call the front desk and they will get them right to you!Rooms: Rooms are very clean and spacious and you can have mini fridge and microwave upon request.Nearby activities: There are several restaurants and the 4th biggest Walmart in the US just up the road from the hotel.Walkability: There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, as well as the 4th biggest Walmart in the US.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant inside the hotel as well as snacks and drinks and ice cream etc sold down in the lobby also. And there are several restaurants nearby and the 4th biggest Walmart in the US is just up the road I'd you wanted to buy your own food and drinks, you can request a mini fridge and microwave for your room and if they are out of microwaves you are allowed to use the one in the lobby.Noteworthy details: They also have free hi-speed wifi and wheelchair accessible rooms too.
Julio Garcia: Nice hotel , I recommend nice and clean. I don’t give the 5 start because they continue asking for $50 deposit and That's Old Practice
Sharon Perkins: Charged higher rates than we’d been told*, taped-over windows (room 622), two stained pillows, no toilet paper holder, broken atm, no microwave in room only a tiny one off the lobby in a weird alcove, bathroom door wouldn’t shut, restaurant closed. Good breakfast, typically high-calorie though because it’s the Midwest and there aren’t a lot of healthy options as far as breakfast goes here. They did have Chobani Greek yogurt cups and wrapped apples and bananas.*They charge a different rate depending on the busy-ness of the hotel, so we got charged increasingly higher rates each night.
Nickki Golden: This place is more like a 1. Sorry if my stuff wasn’t already unpacked I would leave. Just one night….hopefully I can make it.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Melissa Moyers: Don’t confuse this property with the near brand new Holiday Inn *Express* about a mile down the road. This one is big, but OLD. They have done some minor renovations but the room we were in was not. Or at least if it was, it was minimal. There’s not a free breakfast here. The drain in our room’s bathroom sink was extremely slow, shower was just eh. Beds eh. They also took upwards of 90 minutes just to bring us up bedding for the pull out sofa, after calling twice and going down to the front desk once. This was at 11:30 at night and by the looks of the parking lot, they were not heavily booked by any means. Frustrating when you have an 8 year old that needs to go to sleep. There are plenty of hotels surrounding this one. Until they are fully renovated, I would 100% go elsewhere.
baby gile: The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved we walked in and i peeked at the shower and there was rust and paint chipping off so it didn’t look very sanitary. There is also no microwave or refrigerator in our room either. On the positive side there are many fast food places nearby but we probably won’t stay againRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Brandon Baum: I paid for breakfast to be included in the room price, but the breakfast is same low quality Holiday Inn Express continental breakfast they give for free.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Patrick Dunn: I gave this three stars because the bed is very comfortable. The good points end there. This did not come close to my expectations for a holiday inn and suite.Although it's obviously been remodeled and is undergoing more work, the bathroom is old and the air conditioning/ heater rattled all night. Finally, I was shocked to find that this supposed quality hotel, did not offer anything in the morning except the coffee in the room. Other than that, your only option is a $12 buffet.Essentially, I got a $75 room for $150. That's unacceptable.I was very disappointed and will not be staying here again.
gwemtp: Need more signage. Hard to navigate inside the building. Only one ice machine in the whole building. Only one desk clerk with a long line.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Steffany Tinnin: This is less about the place being a total dump despite attractive photos online and more about our reservation being given away because they were overbooked. I reserved a 2 room suite because I traveled with my two toddlers and parents - and I confirmed our stay 24 hours in advance - and still showed up to the front desk with a totally different room with a sleeper sofa in lieu of a second room with a queen bed. The kicker - they still charged us for a 2-bedroom suite! So they forced me to be a Karen and go back down to the front desk to discuss this, and they acted like it was a huge favor to us to charge us the appropriate rate for the room they put us in. They also seemed confused and didn’t have any direct answers for us because it’s obviously cringy to look at people and have to tell them they gave their room away. They also tried to talk me off the ledge by asking questions like “you DO have a sleeper sofa, right?” Insinuating that I should just be accepting of the room change. The 2-bedroom suite is the only reason I even booked at this refurbished 80’s motel. They gave us two drink tickets to the bar as compensation. We went to the bar, the poor bartender was way overworked. They had two white wines and one red, that’s it. My husband ended up sleeping on Memaw’s crusty estate sale sofa pullout with our son, and even though my daughter and I got the king bed, I was kept up by the sounds of the crinkly plastic wrapped mattress and popping springs every time one of them rolled around. In addition to all of this, my husband showered in the morning and my son asked ‘what’s that sound?’ And I told him it was an elephant, because it’s the most accurate comparison for the noise the shower handle made when he turned it on and off. This was a huge reminder for why I stay in VRBOs.
Carol Siegel: Don’t believe the pictures, this place was a dump, run down and out of date. I felt compelled to wear pool sandals in the shower. They gave my daughters confirmed reservation away. Nothing positive here.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
David Tucker: First Room No A/CSecond Room A/C took all night to get down to 68°FThis Morning find somerhings. i pictured them. there was more things just didnot take pics. ready to leave.i left 1 star room because the 2 rooms i have seen were major issues.Service 2 star because at 2300 when i check in. front desk wanted to send maintance instead of changing the rooms.the location is good.and lobby and court yard were very nice.hope this helps.Diamond Elite Memeber
Tracy Goza: Was here on business for the week. I've always had great stays in Holiday Inns. The lobby area looks nice. I stayed on the 4th floor and that room had major issues. This is the first Holiday Inn that doesn't offer a refrigerator in the rooms. I asked the lady at the front desk and was told there were no refrigerators available for the rooms. The sink was slow draining, a lot of calcium build up on the shower head (which caused the water to come out slow). The vent in the bathroom was stopped up with lint. Rust in the tub and had hair on the side of the tub. When I informed the same lady at the front desk all she would say is Sorry. I would not recommend this place. You will be disappointed.
Michele Trinkler: Enjoyed salmon dinner at the on-site lounge.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Jacob Close: Hotel was under renovation with no notice during booking or check in, we had no hot water and no water pressure our first night, so no showers. We requested a room change and was informed the entire building was having the same problem. The next day the water was working, but when I asked to address the issue with a manager, there was no one on shift. We were told a manager would be informed of our concern and address our request for a discount, we still haven’t received any communication and we were charged the full rate.Plus, no mini fridge, so I couldn’t refrigerate my leftover Thai food.
