Kevin Bates: I would not recommend this business.I brought a radiator in with a leak to be tested and repaired. Told the tech where I thought it was leaking. I was told by the tech he would have the test results by lunchtime. After not hearing back I called at 1pm and was told he hadn't tested it yet. He told me he would know something in a couple of hours. Thirty minutes later he calls me and says come get the radiator its all done. When I pickup the radiator Im confidently told by the technician my radiator did not have a leak and to check my hose clamps. I gladly paid the $47.91 feeling very relieved my radiator didn't have a leak after all. Reinstalled the radiator and started the engine only to find the same exact leak again. I would not recommend this business.

Terran Ledford: Been there several times. They are so incredibly hardworking and kind. They keep their prices fair and do not discriminate (I've been to a few shops in the area that do in terms of the prices they quote). I went there for a power steering issue and they kept in contact with me throughout the whole process over text which was so helpful considering I use my car for work. Very happy with the service!

ferris w: just an update. had my truck in to them a few different times over the prior few years to fix multiple issues because honestly, i had let a lot of it go beforehand and this snowballed into several pretty decent issues. decided to have AutoCool do the necessary work, and Tiana and Chris are hands down the best! my truck has not had a single issue since they did all the repair/replacement work, and that's been almost two years ago. two years of my truck running better than it had in the past decade! don't ignore issues on your vehicle like i did, and don't waste your time with other shops. Autocool is absolutely the first and only place you should go.

Brynn Baker: I have been to a couple different shops that had been telling me different things about my car so I was really frustrated not knowing who or what to believe. I sent a message online to Rick's automotive and by end of day the GM took the time to call me and really listened to me . He set me an appointment to have my tahoe lifted and thoroughly looked over. When I arrived the next day he came out to meet me and let me know there would be no charge and that he was sorry for what I had been through. Cal Meeds: Took my. Grandson’s 2015 Chevy Malibu to Ricks after having it at another shop three different times in a two week time with the problems not being fixed or diagnosed properly. After some research and checking reviews I chose Rick’s Automotive to take the car to, took it in on a Tuesday and was initially told it would be the following Monday before anyone could look at it. However I received a call the very next day letting me know that they had got it in and found some engine issues that needed to be addressed so I authorized the repairs and they were completed by the next afternoon on Thursday. I picked up the car and drove it 40 miles back home and it started acting up again and completely firing in traffic as before. I had the car towed back to Ricks that same night, I received a call from Rick’s by 7:30 the next morning and we discussed the issues and they assured me they would take another look at the problem. I received a call by 3:00 from the General Manager who explained that the mechanic had missed a vacuum leak that was causing the engine problems. He greatly apologized for their mistake and oversight of this issue and assured me there would be no charge for the repair and went into great detail as to what was causing my engine failure problems. When asked if he would reimburse my towing bill he assured me he would make things right with me on that. I can’t say enough good words about this shop and their professionalism and how they admitted to their mistake and corrected it with no charge to me. I had a new engine installed in my 2012 Camaro SS. $12,000. Some damage was done to the hood while in the shop. They kind of questioned it but took responsibility and I brought it back to be repaired. I had to bring it back in after I picked it up. They were hoping I wouldn't notice and would drive off. Don't trust them to bring you nice car there!

Gave me a $1600 list of repairs needed for inspection; OVER HALF OF THE THINGS we're not needed (nothing wrong with tail lights is one example). SHADY!! 2ND EDIT: '92 Ford Ranger. Yes, I was there. Want me to elaborate? You wanted $1600 for inspection. $300 for a tire that past inspection elsewhere. $200 for taillights, which were 100% fine. I mean, the list you gave me was laughed at by next place I took it to. Call you to talk about it? No, I'm never giving another moment of time to you (seriously though, you have no record of me using your business? Nice try. Get a lot of '92 Ford Rangers in a week?)

I had them work on the real problems, wheel bearing, transmission fluid change, filter changed, o2 sensor replacement. Then we looked at the heator/ac problem and they where able to take care if that. I'm very pleased with the work completed and in the short time frame. I highly recommend them.

Brandon Otzelberger: Originally had given these guys a five star review but had to change. Took car in for some problems with my hub assemblies. They did a good job fixing that and new breaks. On my 2nd trip there though my experience was not as good. I had an error code P420 from my check engine light which is typically either o2 sensors or catalytic convertor. I informed them of that and was told both my o2 sensors and my convertor were all bad. That didn't sound right as there were no signs my convertor was bad. Got a 2nd opinion and it was found that my convertor and both o2 sensors were fine and I just needed new plugs and an injection cleaning which was over 1k cheaper than the unneeded repairs t&b was going to do, and those repairs were not needed. Not sure but it seems like no diagnostic test was done even though I paid 95 to get one. Was offered that back but bottom line is I feel like they were scamming so they could resell my convertor bcuz it is fine!

charles carpenter: We were vacationing in Branson when our 2016 Acura MDX had problems with the battery and a computer program. As a result we were not able to drive or put the car into gear. Called Aaron, the service manager at the Springfield Acura...he was very helpful. We had the car towed to Springfield and he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it with a new battery and an update on a computer program that was on a recall. He made a special effort to get it done in one day so we were able to leave without delay. This type of service isn't easily found. Thanks to Aaron for getting us in so quickly and back on the road!
