They were able to replace all 19 windows and put new siding on my 100 year old not-plumb not-square "we don't know what's under there" house and make it look like a million bucks. David O'Connor: Ordered 26 windows in March 2021. Twenty-three of the windows were installed in December of 2021. Most of these were not installed/manufactured correctly. The windows were very hard to open, and the weather strip kept sliding out of position. The final 3 windows were installed in August of 2022 (17 months after they were ordered). The second installer (*****) told me the reason the windows couldn't be opened was that the first installer didn't install the windows correctly. So, fast forward to December 6, 2022, when I met with *****, one of the owners from Omaha, NE. Thought I was really getting somewhere. He inspected the windows and acknowledged the deficiencies. Before he left, he said he would get back to me that afternoon with an offer of compensation for one of the windows that was damaged prior to installation. Still waiting to hear from him. I guess he lost my phone number and email. I'm sure he'll find it when it comes time to send a bill. Overall, my experience with Window World of Springfield, MO has been less than acceptable. Their communication is poor, and they don't follow through with their promises. During a recent winter storm, I was amazed at the volume of air that was blowing through the windows. I sent videos of the issues to the company but got no response. Unfortunately, I've become accustomed to "no response". I would advise everyone to be cautious when dealing with Window World. Their product is questionable, installation is iffy, and customer service is non-existent.Service:Window installation

Liz Letterman: I ordered 10 replacement windows in late June of 2021 and was told that it would be 20 to 24 weeks for delivery. We are now over 24 weeks and when I call to find out the status, I am told there are delays with shipping, or delays because I ordered a color for the exterior of my windows or delays in general. I have become a nagging customer and was told in so many words, don't call us, we'll call you when they arrive. At this point I am just disappointed that I could not get them before the Holidays, when I have family coming in from out of town. I have never paid $3,500 down for a product and then waited six months to still not receive even part of it. There has been no follow up (unless I did it) and nothing to reassure me that my business is important to them. The excuses are lame and at this point, I just wish I could get my money back.

Cindy Reynolds: I had an awning installed over my courtyard. It looks great! One of the reasons I went with this company was because I liked the fact that there is 3 inches of styrofoam sandwiched between the top and bottom of the awning. This allows for better temperature control when sitting under it. It will also be nice to sit under when it is raining and will soften the noise of the rain hitting the top of the awning. I will be adding an exterior ceiling fan, as well. The awning is constructed for a fan to be added if you like and that was important to me. I am also extremely pleased that the awning matches the color of my house almost exactly. Great experience with this company and will not hesitate to use them again.

We ordered windows and when they came to install them one of them had been measured wrong. Not happy but it is what it is. They called to say they are coming to install other window and I ask if they would care to wrap a window that we didn't have installed since the metal is sitting in our garage. Scott called me and went on such a crazy rant that I hung up. Very unprofessional. I don't feel I ask anything unresonable. Don't appreciate being talked to that way

Mr. Smith was very helpful from the start, and Todd just seemed to know exactly what we wanted in a deck. Mr. Smith (the owner) gave us the bid and went over several window styles (because we needed windows that would look good in an older cape cod style home) and options for pricing and saving money. When it came time for installation, the guys who installed our windows were professional and did an excellent job. They were on the job early and worked until dark to get the job finished (less than 2 days because bad was weather was coming in). I was amazed at how great they worked and made zero mess in our home. I'm extremely pleased with my entire experience from beginning to end and would highly recommend SmithCo Exteriors.

Debra Garrett: Repeat customers. First time, no complaints, timely, good work, quality material. This time, this crew didn't finish details well and their work was not near as good as the first crews'. We asked Scott to come out to be able to avoid back and forth calls with installer and get things finished after a month. The installer had led him to believe the job had long been finished. Scott became very rude and hung up on us when he had heard enough, we filled out a BBB complaint, then received an offensive call. The personal part of it, in addition to the job, was difficult. Not having an itemized statement added to our confusion. Recommend not paying till you are completely satisfied that EVERYTHING is done. I paid trusting that everything would be done and if I had any problems Scott would take care of us. That was not the case at first, but later he did send out people to fix the obvious problems. Scott called back and asked us to change the review and has told us he will honor the warranty on the contract if we have any future problems.
The Watercolor Loft: We used Smithco Exteriors to install a Bay window in our Kitchen. We couldn't be more pleased . They were highly professional, efficient and knowledgeable in their work. We had heard that Scott Smith, the owner, was vey particular about the results. Well when he came and personally inspected the work, then we knew for sure how particular he was.We would definitely recommend Smithco Exteriors to anyone without hesitation!!!

Wayne Foster: Hello, let me start by saying. Excellent. My wife and I had been looking for someone to do siding on our small 1200 ft 1 level home for a while. We had several places tell us it would be 3000 plus for the front of our house alone. Not including fasha or sofit. Smith co. Came in at 2300 for siding and 900 for fasha and sofit. It looks great! One company" sears" said it was asbestos on the front of our house. Sending me and my wife into panic. It was not!!! Cedar was the material. Plus extra work was needed cause our house wasn't property insulated. Smith co. Fixed and didn't charge extra. Thank you Smith co. !!! Great job!!! Love our shacker siding!

David Fraley: Do NOT buy anything that says SPECIAL ORDER! They will charge you a 25% restocking fee if you have to return it for any reason. LOWES and HOME DEPOT has never done that to me. Monica told us that they charge a 40% restocking fee so she would give us $1900 and they would keep $1200. At no time during our purchase did Monica say anything about a restocking fee and when we brought that up to her she said that it’s printed on the receipt but the receipt says 40% restocking fee on special orders so not only did Monica fail to tell us about a 40% restocking fee she also didn’t tell us that our purchase was a special order. Monica and National Home Products is very dishonest and not to be trusted with your hard earned money.

A lot larger selection than department stores on display. Showroom is worth a visit if you live in Springfield or surrounding areas.

Well, delivery truck shows up with a forklift and says they don’t deliver to the roof & that this happens all the time with Menards. I called to ask for a refund, spoke with Mark the supv & he was pretty rude. He told me it would be a day or maybe 3 that he’d get back with me after he checked with the employees to see what their side of the story was. They re-ordered them and the right windows arrived later February. The windows were wrapped up pretty good, but with a flashlight I inspected what I could see, no broken glass or screens. When I installed them I noticed the insides of the windows were scratch up. These were special order from Germany. Very disappointed with the lack of quality with the Jeld Wen windows I received. I literally have spent tens of thousands at this store in the past year. Never again. In addition, management was no help.

I would go more often and buy more but the menards cash math is off-putting. I think Menards could give the competition a better run for their money if it weren't for the rebate trickery.Anyway, clean store, clean bathrooms and friendly staff.Original review -Menards has a great selection. I have found several things there, including some landscaping stones for a raised flower bed and have been happy with those purchases.I do appreciate the lower prices on some items, but I do the math because the advertised price is with Menards cash included, which I do not like. You can't say the price of an item is 10$ if you have to pay 14$ and get 4$ Menards cash in return. That part of the process is frustrating. Most of the time I can find the items elsewhere for a price somewhere in between the price and the rebate with less hassle. I still like the selection and I will probably go back. But I buy less than I would if it weren't for the Menards cash.

Erin: Took over a month to get my carpet installed after constant reschedules. Was a HORRIBLE experience trying to talk to anyone about it.
Jamie Burchett: I went to the lawn and garden to buy 24 landscape blocks. When checking out at the outside lawn and garden register, they scanned the 24 block. Then, because I had 100.00 bill, they told me I would have to go inside and check out again because they couldn't cash it out there. That they didn't have enough money. Now my bill was 76 dollars, and some change. Do you mean at your busiest time of year they didn't have the 20 some dollars and change? Come on Lowe's you can do better.

Woodpecker Peckswood: my review is based on lack of customer service at this location and I come here often. today I just ordered something online and went to pick it up. as I arrived the employee standing at pick up took off their vest and walked away. I look over and see 5 people in the return line. Kenzie and Nate both working customer service . After 5 min or so neither acknowledged me, so I ask loudly if Im supposed to move over to the return line. Nate said yes. Geez thanks Nate for telling me after standing there visible to you for over 5 minutes. Kenzie ended up helping me but lacked basic knowledge how to read the screen and kept referring to my purchase as "the thing with a weird name" it's was a sander.. 😄. so you can't expect to save time or pick up items here with any efficiency because you end up in their slow return line with everyone else. this has happened simular a few times. then another time I purchased $140 at the store and apparently your system was glitching because the cashier told me it didn't work and to run my card again. well of course she ran the purchase twice but I only received one receipt. so I didn't know until I got home and my bank account is empty. I called and was told to come in to fix it. when I did I couldn't get the customer service person to give me the refund it turned into a, get me your manager situation. just ridiculous! clearly hiring the youngest people that have zero clue how to treat a customer or have any sense of urgency .. everyone is aloof and annoyed they have to help a customer. well im annoyed at this branch and your lack of management and training so you get a deserved review.

May Thompson: I am livid. I spent 1,400 on a refrigerator that arrived(Tuesday) damaged, so I refused delivery. Wednesday I canceled the replacement and requested a refund. I was told 3 days. Well we are well into the next week and still no refund. I would like to thank Kirk and Betty who are trying to help me actually get my refund but Home Depot needs to do something to change the way they do damaged appliance returns. The customer should be able to go into the store and get their refund the same day if not the next they should Not still be out $1,400 a week later.

I figured the first time was just a glitch in their system, however when I rescheduled for the next available date and set the four hour window for 7:30-11:30am they scheduled me the day of for a 12:00-4:00pm delivery. When I reached out to customer service for assistance, they were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my problem. I had to take time off work to wait for the delivery that never arrived. I will not be using Home Depot's delivery service again and would caution others to consider alternative options.
