Wes Garrett: I came by today needing a gas fitting for my BBQ grill and was greeting by the nicest staff. I obviously wasn't going to be making big purchase but needed some advice after going to Edge Supply, Harry Cooper, etc and no-one being able to help me. A nice guy whom I assume is the installer pulled his van around, told me exactly what fittings I needed and while he didn't have them on his truck sent me to Lowe's to pick up what I needed saving me a long goose chase. We have purchased a gas fireplace and some pool chairs there in the past and have always had amazing service.
KF Harding: I recently had my deck furniture refinished through Maschinos. I had bought it there way back in 2004, good quality furniture, but it had lost its luster over the years. I’d been wanting to do this for last couple of years and finally did. I am so glad.A kind young man came to pick up the furniture and another helpful and nice young man delivered it yesterday. The process took a bit longer than I’d hoped, but there was a problem with powder coating on some of the parts. Joan and Brianna kept me informed and were a joy to deal with.Furniture is absolutely gorgeous.I have enjoyed my morning coffee and doing Wordle sitting on my deck overlooking the lake. I highly recommend Maschinos, a wonderful outfit to deal with.

Randy Ramey: We recently purchased new Ravenwood Select gas logs at Maschino's with the expert help of Greg Nutting to help us to sort through all of the options. Corey installed them today and did a beautiful job! We love our new logs. They look sooo good in our converted woodburning fireplace. Corey had some obstacles to overcome, but he was so patient, thorough, and was determined to "do it right", which he certainly did. I know it took considerably longer than he planned for, but he didn't cut corners and we are very pleased with the end result! Update on 12/29/21: We have used the logs multiple times now. It heats our living room very nicely and I LOVE the remote control to lite and extinguish the flame. Nicest logs we have ever had! If you need gas logs, stop by Maschino's and check them out!

And then once we got it, we have called in with a few random questions which they are always incredibly helpful with. We are so happy with the entire process and highly recommend Smitty's! They pulled all the fake logs out and reassembled them nicely and made sure the gas setup still worked after they were done and even went over how to use it with them. Asked for an estimate to replace chimney chase cover and crown and was NOT told at the time of scheduling the appointment, that they charge 100.- to drive out and give you the estimate! $50.- would be credited when they come out to do the work.Their reasoning was - they have to drive outside of SGF. On top of that, I had to call multiple times and finally after about 3 weeks I received my absolutely ridiculous estimate of $1002.- to replace the chase cover and the crown.This company is an absolute rip off and I would NEVER recommend them or use them again!

If you advertise that you service a certain area, then You should service it when someone calls, not when it is convenient for you.
Dave Price: Great customer service. I went in to buy a pellet stove and instead of trying to sell me something fancy, I was given a demo on a good stove that is easy to take care of and a work horse to heat my shop. Highly recommend you at least take a look here before buying elsewhere.

whitney hollinger: Extremely friendly and helpful people. Took the time to explain things to us and were very knowledgeable about everything.
Nathan Epps: I saw this store while en route to another business to look at wood stoves. I wasn't familiar with HMI, but was glad I stopped.There was only one employee when I entered. He was busy writing at the checkout counter and it took him a few minutes to acknowledge my presence. I didn't mind as l wasn't ready to make a purchase. I just wanted to look at options for my hearth.As I started to browse, the employee left the counter to ask how he could assist. First, I have to say that it was nice to talk to an employee who knows about the products he is selling. Second, even after learning there wouldn't be a sale, the employee was willing to share what he knew about configuring an insert for my type of fireplace. Actually, he seemed interested in ensuring whatever I purchased would be safe for my home.The HMI store in Nixa wasn't particularly large, so I appreciated the many types of fireplace inserts and hearths on display. Every inch of the store was well utilized. They even had an indoor/outdoor hearth, which is something you don't see every day.

They have my trust and respect for the excellent customer service. I will continue to use them and recommend them from my experience.
Stephen Zeller: We purchased a Lopi Liberty from HMI and has their team install it. We were well taken care of throughout the entire process and everyone was great to work with! The install went very well and was done professionally and efficiently! Dave, Mike, and Coleman did a superb job with our stove and through-attic installation, as we do not have an existing chimney.I had not considered Lopi before going into the showroom and speaking with Mark. He made the recommendation for the Liberty based on the size of our home and how we wanted to heat it. The craftsmanship and build-quality of this USA-made stove are exceptional and I would recommend Lopi to anyone looking for a well-built, quality wood stove.Thanks again to Dave, Mike, Coleman, Mark and Steve at HMI for the new stove and for your wonderful customer service! Lacey Boehning: Nice products but pricing was a bit higher than expected. While price I'm sure reflects the quality of product they carry, I didn't appreciate the sales associate basically laughing that I wanted to stay around the $1000 range. Let me save you the trip, unless you're wanting to spend more than $2500 they can't help you. I went to another place and got a gas log fireplace that cost less than my price range and it heats 800sqft or more than the $2500 base model they offer. So if you have $3000 or more to spend on a fireplace that will heat 1 room than I highly recommend HMI because they've got some BEAUTIFUL products to offer.

I was prepared to spend over $2000 to $3000 on couple things wanted done to our fireplace and house ( a mantel, couple fans for gas fireplace and a central vac ) but I guess I will be going else where.... in fact he recommended Aaron's Fireplace in Republic.

Sold it at a loss and went to HOME DEPOT asked about their return policy on mowers and was told if it didn't work for me I could bring it back no problem. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING EVER AGAIN FROM MENARDS. They do not stand behind the products they sell..

David Fraley: Do NOT buy anything that says SPECIAL ORDER! They will charge you a 25% restocking fee if you have to return it for any reason. LOWES and HOME DEPOT has never done that to me. I would give them zero stars if I could. And this after I spent over an hour completing the return process. Outrageous. Will not do business with them again!

Erin: Took over a month to get my carpet installed after constant reschedules. Was a HORRIBLE experience trying to talk to anyone about it.
Jamie Burchett: I went to the lawn and garden to buy 24 landscape blocks. When checking out at the outside lawn and garden register, they scanned the 24 block. Then, because I had 100.00 bill, they told me I would have to go inside and check out again because they couldn't cash it out there. That they didn't have enough money. Now my bill was 76 dollars, and some change. Do you mean at your busiest time of year they didn't have the 20 some dollars and change? Come on Lowe's you can do better.

I look over and see 5 people in the return line. Kenzie and Nate both working customer service . After 5 min or so neither acknowledged me, so I ask loudly if Im supposed to move over to the return line. Nate said yes. Geez thanks Nate for telling me after standing there visible to you for over 5 minutes. Kenzie ended up helping me but lacked basic knowledge how to read the screen and kept referring to my purchase as "the thing with a weird name" it's was a sander.. 😄. so you can't expect to save time or pick up items here with any efficiency because you end up in their slow return line with everyone else. this has happened simular a few times. then another time I purchased $140 at the store and apparently your system was glitching because the cashier told me it didn't work and to run my card again. well of course she ran the purchase twice but I only received one receipt. so I didn't know until I got home and my bank account is empty. I called and was told to come in to fix it. when I did I couldn't get the customer service person to give me the refund it turned into a, get me your manager situation. just ridiculous! clearly hiring the youngest people that have zero clue how to treat a customer or have any sense of urgency .. everyone is aloof and annoyed they have to help a customer. well im annoyed at this branch and your lack of management and training so you get a deserved review.

May Thompson: I am livid. I spent 1,400 on a refrigerator that arrived(Tuesday) damaged, so I refused delivery. Wednesday I canceled the replacement and requested a refund. I was told 3 days. Well we are well into the next week and still no refund. I would like to thank Kirk and Betty who are trying to help me actually get my refund but Home Depot needs to do something to change the way they do damaged appliance returns. The customer should be able to go into the store and get their refund the same day if not the next they should Not still be out $1,400 a week later.

Second employee said was too busy and would have someone sent over. 15 minutes later had to ask again. 3rd and 4th employee could not find a simple water line for a sink.They finally suggested I go to the pro desk for help. I realize good help is hard to find, and I try to support local businesses, but amazon had it to me next day on my porch. Have experienced this more than once.

Dillon Brewer: ***Update*** it’s been over a week since I cancelled the order and I still have not received a refund….. I had a terrible experience with Home Depot's delivery. Despite placing an order online and providing my contact information, they never called to schedule a delivery window. I figured the first time was just a glitch in their system, however when I rescheduled for the next available date and set the four hour window for 7:30-11:30am they scheduled me the day of for a 12:00-4:00pm delivery. When I reached out to customer service for assistance, they were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my problem. I had to take time off work to wait for the delivery that never arrived. I will not be using Home Depot's delivery service again and would caution others to consider alternative options.

E Wise: They carry Stanley tools online but barely any in the store. The labels on the Husky tools that they carry in store stated they were made in China, but tools are one thing I won't buy China made. No cashiers when we went, self checkout only.

Ron Taylor: Got what I needed,huge selection. Not as busy as it use to be easy in and out.
Raymond Schaffer: Only went for a couple things and to have a key made. They had both items I went for, prompt and very polite service, and the key they made worked better than my original key. Great experience

Russell Stamper (PapaRuss): I have too many projects going all the time so a trip to Menards is always fun! They have just about anything I might need, but not everything. Prices are usually pretty good, but not always the best. I always do a quick price and availability check before actually hitting a store. Menards is often the winner!

M R: It's a Lowe's... It's a Kroger..? It's better!Their selection of extension cords is impressive. Paracord, Snacks, Superglue... The works for a project of any scale. Friendly prices, an online catalog, and the stairs in their lumber section are a marvel of store design.The checkout experience was a first for me, but was made easy by a very friendly student cashier.Menards is a biblical experience. Render unto them.
Jackie Redding: I’m pretty disappointed in the West Spfld Menards location. We asked if they delivered and stocked the roof with the shingles we were purchasing and were told yes. We clarified that we needed them conveyed onto the ridge in which we were told by THREE different employees yes. Well, delivery truck shows up with a forklift and says they don’t deliver to the roof & that this happens all the time with Menards. I called to ask for a refund, spoke with Mark the supv & he was pretty rude. He told me it would be a day or maybe 3 that he’d get back with me after he checked with the employees to see what their side of the story was. I’m not sure I will shop here again…& if I do this will need to be made right.

Christus miles es scriptor: I truly regret doing business with this company. I special ordered windows for my home. I ordered in October they arrived 2 months later and were not what I ordered. They re-ordered them and the right windows arrived later February. The windows were wrapped up pretty good, but with a flashlight I inspected what I could see, no broken glass or screens. When I installed them I noticed the insides of the windows were scratch up. These were special order from Germany. Very disappointed with the lack of quality with the Jeld Wen windows I received. I literally have spent tens of thousands at this store in the past year. Never again. In addition, management was no help.

Jason Sargent: Update-Menards still has a great variety of items. They seem to price things a little better in the store. The item I purchased for $249 was tagged $249. Better than before where the price indicated was reflecting the 11% rebate. Although online the price was listed for $224. This is what brought me to the store. The item was listed for $224 with a statement "get 11% off with rebate." I knew this would be Menards cash but they made it look like the 11% would be additional. Wrong, the 11% was already deducted from the ad price. Kinda feels a little manipulative, doesn't it?Anyway, I like the store, the volume and the selection they offer. I would go more often and buy more but the menards cash math is off-putting. I think Menards could give the competition a better run for their money if it weren't for the rebate trickery.Anyway, clean store, clean bathrooms and friendly staff.Original review -Menards has a great selection. I have found several things there, including some landscaping stones for a raised flower bed and have been happy with those purchases.I do appreciate the lower prices on some items, but I do the math because the advertised price is with Menards cash included, which I do not like. You can't say the price of an item is 10$ if you have to pay 14$ and get 4$ Menards cash in return. That part of the process is frustrating. Most of the time I can find the items elsewhere for a price somewhere in between the price and the rebate with less hassle. I still like the selection and I will probably go back. But I buy less than I would if it weren't for the Menards cash.
Alex Hennis: The selection of merchandise is impressive. However, some young girl working the front really ruined my wife's shopping experience by being rude. You can definitely find what you're looking for, but beware of an entitled young girl. (It doesn't help when a young male employee is standing there trying to get a date). God help this young generation.
Anthony Massimiano: Always a great place to pick up random stuff, everywhere from building supplies to food. Love Menards pricing and selection.
