Clive Sanderson: Out of the frying pan into the fire !!! After a bad experience with a corporate dentist in Branson I was recommended to go and see Kevin Wallis. Supposedly he was meant to be good at what he does. A previous google review that I read regarding how he is with money and his standard of workmanship would actually seem to be true. If only I had read this review before I visited his office I would not have gone. As mentioned I had a terrible experience with a previous dentist where I had poor crowns made for me that had broken and I desperately needed them fixing because of an out of the country trip I was making. I will say at this point that the corporate dentist refunded me fully which was good on their part. So off I went to see Mr. Wallis. He offered to make me a temp bridge at what I thought was a high cost of $1300 and that he would deduct this from any denture or implant work I would have done with him. I really had no choice because of my trip that was coming up fast. I agreed and put my trust in him. That turned out to be a mistake. The temp bridge was made and stuck in place without trying the fit out to see if it was comfortable or not. It in fact was a bad fit and needed much adjusting for it to come anywhere close. The adjusting was left to his female assistant who spent nearly 2 hours working on me and did a terrible job that I was not happy with. There were sharp edges at the rear of the bridge where food would definitely get stuck in not to mention give me a sore mouth. We all know how a persons tongue likes to go directly to these places right? The temp bridge was also left feeling like sand paper across the tongue side. After leaving me with his assistant for that length of time Mr. Wallis came back to see what was going on. He looked and told me if was the best fit they could do and more or less rushed me out. I should not have paid for this work but as a decent human being I did. As I was paying I complained to the front desk assistant who was very apologetic for what had happened. Somehow I got the feeling she had seen this kind of thing before. At this point I thought I would try to see if I could get used to the temp bridge. After 2 weeks I called back and asked if I could be seen again. Mr. Wallis refused to see me and stated once again that the temp bridge was made the best it could be. Has this dentist ever heard of the phrase "the customer is always right?" Has this dentist ever heard of good customer service? Has this dentist ever heard of going above and beyond to please their customers? Seems to me like the answer to each of these statements would be a big "NO!!!" The only positive or fallback I had from my experience was a plastic guard that had been made for me incase the temp broke. Even then I had to trim this guard down my self because of very sharp edges. Once again this was an item made for me without even trying it. I decided I was not going to see this dentist again and looked for another which fortunately I found out of state in nearby AR. This however was a little late for my trip. I was going out of the US for all of December and into January. My temp bridge broke one week into my trip and even after I had put myself of a soft diet to try and protect it. I had to use the guard which actually rubbed my gums and made them very sore. When I came back to the US in January I contacted Mr. Wallis office to inform them I was not going to pursue any more work done by him or his assistant and also that I wanted a 50% refund because of the original high cost. I could have had a full set of dentures made for what he charged me. I thought this was a fair request but at the same time I think a full refund would had been just. To my dismay Mr. Wallis refused any such refund which in turn led me to writing this true account of events and review. Seems like Mr. Wallis likes his patients money more than he does his patients happiness. I have now moved on to a dentist who genuinely cares. That's how it should be Mr. Wallis! Fulfil my refund request and I will retract the review otherwise it stands!!!

I expected her to return in tears, but she came home instead with a smile on her face. Now, the anesthesic hadn't worn off yet. So, I'm sure she will be sore soon enough. I have never had this great of an experience anywhere else from check in to check out the staff is lovely. My dental hygienist Amanda was an absolute angel she always made sure I was comfortable and cleaned up and was so attentive to my needs even if I didn't know I needed them. Dr Nathan Bauer was an absolut sweet heart as well I never felt any of the shots and he was always asking if I was ok and making sure nothing hurt and if anything seemed like it did he would stop immediately and apologize. This was the best experience I have ever had and I am so excited for the rest of my work to get done here I could not have asked for a better place to be than at 417 smile's everyone should go here. Laura McCaskill: Highly professional. Jessica, Terri, and Dr Seema Nair were wonderful. This was my first visit after going to the same dentist for 30 years. They also take excellent precautionary measures during the pandemic.

Kimberly Tschannen: Issue after issue. I don’t even know where to start. Anyone on the dental side of this office are all super nice. The ladies in the office part are incredibly rude. I took my son there for a dental exam, dentist over looks a forming cavity saying she likes to wait for the actual cavity to form. 4 months later my son is in such pain with an open HOLE in his tooth. Dentist said she probably should have filled it, I agree. I wish she would have but then she tried to blame it on poor dental hygiene. Take him to another exam, they over look a cyst that had formed on his gum. They noticed it a week later during a filling. When it comes to trying to check out of the building be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for the lady to not figure out what she’s doing with insurance. They feed you all these different prices until you call your insurance company yourself to figure it out for them. I am completely disgusted with the way things are handled and how we were treated. Parkcrest Dental is where we have switched and they are AMAZING! They are fixing the issues that were not dealt with correctly.

Amy Stokes: We have been going to 417 smiles for almost 10 years now. They are a very friendly staff. Very clean facility. Recently, my 10 year old chipped her front adult tooth on tile and I made a call to their emergency phone number on a Wednesday night at 730 pm. I left a vm and received a return call within 10 minutes. They worked me in their schedule at 8 am the next morning. They were able to build the tooth back up and you would never know she ever chipped it. Amazing job!

I expressed my frustration on here instead of going back in and Dr. Hein still graciously replied back with a solution. I am currently getting another guard and everyone has been really helpful.
