Welcome Inn Nightly and Extended Stay: what do users think?
Dave Morgan: Had a great time last night....thanks Rusty!
Jessica Barron: I've been here at the Welcome Inn for longer than I care to admit. The staff in the office are all very nice, sweet people. Holly is amazing. They have security every night and I think that has improved this place. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
trisha haley: Location and price was good. Will never stay there again though. Rooms were not clean and management/staff were disturbingly rude. Very disappointed!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Josh Pahl: The staff at welcome inn are awesome. They've helped me in so many ways I can't begin to explain.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 1/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
jacqueline nelson: Nice clean and great monthly and weekly rates.Rooms: Nice and clean and quiet.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Sean Lyytinen: As a native to this town I know the best and worst spots to go and this is a chart topper for the worst class experience. First when you park ,park under one of the bright parking lot lights. It deters thief's, most the time. If you have anything of value in the car , put it in the trunk or cover it. Lock your doors , watch out for the roaches in the stairwell , lack of security cameras makes it feel real safe. If.KA You dont have a weapon, VISIT AT YOUR OWN risk
Claudia Oqueli: Buyer beware, this place is in a sketchy part of town and is mainly used to house the homeless, it is in need of repairs and has no visible security anywhere, I would not recommend this place unless it was the only one on the planetRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Sean Wilkerson: ah? it was okay I can't complain as long as you follow the rules then it's really not all that badRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Ben And Heather Myers: Very run down facility extremely low grade rooms equipment they want almost $60 a night for a room that I wouldn't pay $10 a night for they don't do a very good job of keeping things clean the atmosphere is downright scaryRooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Rosemund Holtmeyer: When i called about a room the giys told me to call back during regular business hours because he had no idea if there was a room available.
Danny Cole: My girlfriend has been here since September of last year and it's a heck of a lot better than living in your carRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Holiday Inn & Suites Springfield - I-44, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Ricky Mann: The hotel is currently undergoing construction and will be until April of 2024 according to the sign in the lobby they are "proud" of. We have been here from 6-8-23 until 6-11-23 for the VFW State Convention. We had our rooms here as an overflow hotel to the Oasis. Upon arrival, they did not have our reservations ready, even though we booked in March, and we are scattered across 5 different floors. The A/C does the best it can to keep it at 75⁰F. The shower head will beat you up and randomly turns on. There are 2 elevators in a confusing location on the opposite end of where most of the rooms are located. Housekeeping does come by daily though. Most hardly speak English. FYI, it is dead silent at night. Fan sleepers come prepared! Today, one of my members received a call he was being kicked out due to construction and they did not have a new room ready, nor would one be available. He decided to drive the 5 hours home instead. The best they could do was a voucher for the overpriced breakfast. A Veteran. The hotel currently has 2 working ice makers for the whole building. We have decided to NOT patronize this location for any future events.Nearby activities: Dispensary across the street that delivers.
Jessica Williams: My stay at Holiday Inn & Suites Springfield was great, the staff was lovely, they accommodated my room with a large mini fridge and a microwave to help me since I was staying for two weeks while my apartment complex was reparing the plumbing in my apartment. I enjoyed the free wi-wi and cable, not yo mention, I loved the convenience of being able to go down to the lobby to buy a few sodas and snacks. They also have a lovely restaurant that is affordable as well as delicious. The place is clean, sofisticated and very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to anyone, it's my second time staying there at this hotel, last time I was there for about only a few days, but I'm glad I got to stay a bit longer this time. Also the housekeeping do a great job cleaning the rooms and getting you anything you are needing also, whether it be towels, extra trash bags, coffee, creamer, sugar and coffee cups, you name it, they will get it for you. And if you forget to pack an essential grooming item like shampoo, conditioner, soap, a comb, razor, toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. no need to worry, the hotel has your back! They offer essential that you've forgotten by request; call the front desk and they will get them right to you!Rooms: Rooms are very clean and spacious and you can have mini fridge and microwave upon request.Nearby activities: There are several restaurants and the 4th biggest Walmart in the US just up the road from the hotel.Walkability: There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, as well as the 4th biggest Walmart in the US.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant inside the hotel as well as snacks and drinks and ice cream etc sold down in the lobby also. And there are several restaurants nearby and the 4th biggest Walmart in the US is just up the road I'd you wanted to buy your own food and drinks, you can request a mini fridge and microwave for your room and if they are out of microwaves you are allowed to use the one in the lobby.Noteworthy details: They also have free hi-speed wifi and wheelchair accessible rooms too.
Julio Garcia: Nice hotel , I recommend nice and clean. I don’t give the 5 start because they continue asking for $50 deposit and That's Old Practice
Sharon Perkins: Charged higher rates than we’d been told*, taped-over windows (room 622), two stained pillows, no toilet paper holder, broken atm, no microwave in room only a tiny one off the lobby in a weird alcove, bathroom door wouldn’t shut, restaurant closed. Good breakfast, typically high-calorie though because it’s the Midwest and there aren’t a lot of healthy options as far as breakfast goes here. They did have Chobani Greek yogurt cups and wrapped apples and bananas.*They charge a different rate depending on the busy-ness of the hotel, so we got charged increasingly higher rates each night.
Nickki Golden: This place is more like a 1. Sorry if my stuff wasn’t already unpacked I would leave. Just one night….hopefully I can make it.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Melissa Moyers: Don’t confuse this property with the near brand new Holiday Inn *Express* about a mile down the road. This one is big, but OLD. They have done some minor renovations but the room we were in was not. Or at least if it was, it was minimal. There’s not a free breakfast here. The drain in our room’s bathroom sink was extremely slow, shower was just eh. Beds eh. They also took upwards of 90 minutes just to bring us up bedding for the pull out sofa, after calling twice and going down to the front desk once. This was at 11:30 at night and by the looks of the parking lot, they were not heavily booked by any means. Frustrating when you have an 8 year old that needs to go to sleep. There are plenty of hotels surrounding this one. Until they are fully renovated, I would 100% go elsewhere.
baby gile: The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved we walked in and i peeked at the shower and there was rust and paint chipping off so it didn’t look very sanitary. There is also no microwave or refrigerator in our room either. On the positive side there are many fast food places nearby but we probably won’t stay againRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Brandon Baum: I paid for breakfast to be included in the room price, but the breakfast is same low quality Holiday Inn Express continental breakfast they give for free.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Patrick Dunn: I gave this three stars because the bed is very comfortable. The good points end there. This did not come close to my expectations for a holiday inn and suite.Although it's obviously been remodeled and is undergoing more work, the bathroom is old and the air conditioning/ heater rattled all night. Finally, I was shocked to find that this supposed quality hotel, did not offer anything in the morning except the coffee in the room. Other than that, your only option is a $12 buffet.Essentially, I got a $75 room for $150. That's unacceptable.I was very disappointed and will not be staying here again.
gwemtp: Need more signage. Hard to navigate inside the building. Only one ice machine in the whole building. Only one desk clerk with a long line.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Steffany Tinnin: This is less about the place being a total dump despite attractive photos online and more about our reservation being given away because they were overbooked. I reserved a 2 room suite because I traveled with my two toddlers and parents - and I confirmed our stay 24 hours in advance - and still showed up to the front desk with a totally different room with a sleeper sofa in lieu of a second room with a queen bed. The kicker - they still charged us for a 2-bedroom suite! So they forced me to be a Karen and go back down to the front desk to discuss this, and they acted like it was a huge favor to us to charge us the appropriate rate for the room they put us in. They also seemed confused and didn’t have any direct answers for us because it’s obviously cringy to look at people and have to tell them they gave their room away. They also tried to talk me off the ledge by asking questions like “you DO have a sleeper sofa, right?” Insinuating that I should just be accepting of the room change. The 2-bedroom suite is the only reason I even booked at this refurbished 80’s motel. They gave us two drink tickets to the bar as compensation. We went to the bar, the poor bartender was way overworked. They had two white wines and one red, that’s it. My husband ended up sleeping on Memaw’s crusty estate sale sofa pullout with our son, and even though my daughter and I got the king bed, I was kept up by the sounds of the crinkly plastic wrapped mattress and popping springs every time one of them rolled around. In addition to all of this, my husband showered in the morning and my son asked ‘what’s that sound?’ And I told him it was an elephant, because it’s the most accurate comparison for the noise the shower handle made when he turned it on and off. This was a huge reminder for why I stay in VRBOs.
Carol Siegel: Don’t believe the pictures, this place was a dump, run down and out of date. I felt compelled to wear pool sandals in the shower. They gave my daughters confirmed reservation away. Nothing positive here.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
David Tucker: First Room No A/CSecond Room A/C took all night to get down to 68°FThis Morning find somerhings. i pictured them. there was more things just didnot take pics. ready to leave.i left 1 star room because the 2 rooms i have seen were major issues.Service 2 star because at 2300 when i check in. front desk wanted to send maintance instead of changing the rooms.the location is good.and lobby and court yard were very nice.hope this helps.Diamond Elite Memeber
Tracy Goza: Was here on business for the week. I've always had great stays in Holiday Inns. The lobby area looks nice. I stayed on the 4th floor and that room had major issues. This is the first Holiday Inn that doesn't offer a refrigerator in the rooms. I asked the lady at the front desk and was told there were no refrigerators available for the rooms. The sink was slow draining, a lot of calcium build up on the shower head (which caused the water to come out slow). The vent in the bathroom was stopped up with lint. Rust in the tub and had hair on the side of the tub. When I informed the same lady at the front desk all she would say is Sorry. I would not recommend this place. You will be disappointed.
Michele Trinkler: Enjoyed salmon dinner at the on-site lounge.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Jay Bryant: Nice new clean hotel was very friendly staff
Lynn Becker: No issues except the breakfast, no bacon 😞 , no white toast (allergies). Oatmeal a little runny one day and thick on another. No Hot chocolate packetsSafety: Good.
Ana Wiggins: Buenísimo me encanta sus camas almohadas Bueno todo 💯
Andrew Aggus: For starters, great location! Very easy access to I-44 and much of Springfield. This hotel was immaculate. Definitely one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in!The room had definitely been remodeled recently. It was very modern. The front desk staff (Dionna/Dionne?) was extremely kind and even accomodated an early check-in for us, which made life much easier! My only complaint is that it was loud in the hallway at certain times (mainly early morning), and you could hear every word loud and clear in the room.Overall, I will definitely stay here again!
Tim M: Clean and updated rooms. USB outlets for phone charging cords. Easy check in. Right down the street from fairgrounds.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More

Theresa Harris: Very friendly staff and it’s clean inside and outside. Breakfast has several things to offer.
Travis: Room was modern and clean. Breakfast was hot and offered many options. Slight noise as our room was located adjacent to elevator. One of the bathroom lights did not turn on. Hallway light took a min to "warm up" before turning on.Overall, I would recommend 👍Nearby activities: Gas, EV charging and restaurants within walking distance
Phil R: Great breakfast, service, and clean rooms.
Brandon Black: Great hotel. Good price and location. I was on 4th floor and it had at least 11ft ceilings. Nice and spacious.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
brad kertz: We made our reservation three weeks in advance through a third party website. Upon our check-in, our reservation couldn't be located. Emails and app information was displayed to the receptionist. After some typing he asked us if we had made our reservation between two specific dates. I said we did, the date was on the confirmation email. He proceeded to inform us that their computer system was down during that time and due to full occupancy, there was nothing he could do.I asked "there's NOTHING you can do?" He said because we had booked through a third party and not through them, he couldn't do anything.I felt something COULD have been done, a voucher or something to accommodate for their computer system being down. It is not the cutomers fault that their system was down for multiple days. The clerk could have done SOMETHING, but instead, chose to do nothing. My brother and his family didn't have any issues due to them making their reservations a few days after ours. His room seemed pleasant enough.
Dave Mclean: This is our 4th time staying at this location over the past year and have not been disappointed. Room has always been clean, very comfortable beds, and hot breakfast bar ia always ready and good. Staff is very nice. Highly recommend.Rooms: Very comfortable, nice TV, clean, comfortable bed!

Jano: Great, newly renovated hotel.Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff from Amy to Byron (Irishman) made us feel like family.I would highly recommend this hotel. Plus, the location was perfect for restaurants, site seeing and is centrally located.Food & drinks: They have coffee ready at 4:30 am which is awesome for early risers like me.The included breakfast bar is very nice, clean and actually delicious. Plenty of choices for the meat eater or the vegetarian like me.
dj campbell: We like this hotel but this is like the 3-5 time staying here and I over heard the guy at the desk telling someone if they stay a few times they could get a free night. The breakfast for the last 3 days isn't OK the biscuits are hard and flat the sausage is over cook. The was being used be twin 2-5 to tech baby's how to swim we were not told this.FOR SOME REASON THEY STARTED TO CHARCH $150 XTRA FOR A Security deposit. Would have been nice for them to tell us that because it overdrew my bank account.
Rick Clarizio: Typical Holiday Inn Express it's why we are rewards members.Nearby activities: The Johnny Morris aquarium is awesome located in the Bass Pro Shop.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Jean Meyer: This is my go-to hotel in Springfield. They have comfortable beds and good quality sheets. The water pressure is good and the rooms are spacious and clean. The service is always good from the beginning to the end. The breakfast is hot and better than most free offerings. They have a pancake maker that we enjoy.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Ray Burnam: I called twice to try and make a reservation. First time I was transferred to a computer talking to me that didn’t help me. It didn’t understand anything i said and refused to transfer me to a human even though it said it would. I called back and was put on hold.Holiday Inn, do better. A computer will never take the place and be as good as a nice, competent human being.

Angela Savino: LOVE this hotel!! Upon checking in, there were some confusing issues (on my end) but KEVIN was so pleasant and able to figure it out! It made a huge difference to make my day SO much easier, considering what I had going on that day. Thank you Kevin, you are an asset to the hotel. We loved the layout of our double bed room and dual thermostats! That was awesome!! The moveable shower head was great with fantastic water pressure. The pool area was very clean and the hot tub was good and hot and the jets were so quiet! The breakfast bar was delicious! Also, a bonus, is that a Texas Roadhouse is right beside the hotel. Easy to walk back and forth! We went elsewhere, but regretted not going to Texas Roadhouse in hindsight. Would had been nice to have some drinks and just walked right back to our room. Thank you, we had a fantastic stay! Also, they offered a wheelchair, thankfully! It helped tremendously with our elderly family member that had just had a surgical procedure that day.

David Cardon: Consistently excellent, conveniently located, with an outstanding staff. Can’t go wrong with this Holiday Inn property.
Lyle Taffar: I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why this hotel is rated at 2 stars. The receptionist was a very helpful man, very welcoming. Rooms were some of the best I've ever been in. Only thing I didn't like was the hot tub wouldn't activate its turbulence. Complimentary breakfast was very good as well. Definitely excelled in all aspects..
Ruth Templeman: I've stayed in a lot of nice places traveling, having to travel a lot for work and medical issues. I prefer to stay in an Embassy Suites but sadly Springfield Missouri doesn't have one. I was looking for somewhere comparable in the area and decided to give this hotel a try, despite the 2 star review on some websites. I was SO glad I did! From the second I walked in, the gentleman at the front desk was so inviting and kind. Every single front desk employee, maid, food service employee and every employee in between was so gracious and helpful. Anything I didn't come prepared with, they kindly supplied. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and spotless. My queen size bed was so comfortable! The breakfast was also fresh, delicious, and well stocked.I will definitely be staying again soon!
Stephany “Stephy” Bley: Very nice and clean !!! Staff is also very friendly and accommodating!! We loved our stay ! Breakfast was great with a big selection! The pool was really clean and well kept . Plenty of towels . Def would stay again!Rooms: Really clean comfortable beds!!
