D T: Gorgeous furniture not impressed with the customer service! I ordered a bedroom suit last December was told when I ordered it I would have it in October it’s December and I still do not have it… no compensation no offer of free delivery and no date yet as to when I will get it for sure I am NOT happy doubt I’ll buy here again! Update 1-13-23 still NO bed they got a bed in end of dec got it to my house wrong bed Shannon my sales person has been little help and doesn’t seem to see a need for urgency here I am beyond disgusted and will disuade anyone I know from ever purchasing from here ever

Not knowing if it was the same manager but the review snapped a memory back into my thoughts of how I was rudely treated at that same store.I quit going to your store a few years ago. I wanted to purchase a small Halcyon pill box you had on display. I have never been accused of thievery of any type. The treatment I received that day from your manager, no one should be subjected to.The Halcyon Pill Box was in a locked case. I could see the price, I asked to see it and she, the manager, retrieved the pill box, herself, to let me inspect it. I said I would purchase it. When checking out, she, the manager, looked at the price, said it was marked wrong and would not honor the price shown. She could not have been more rude during the checkout after I questioned why she would not honor the marked price. She said, (and rudeness and dirty looks from her didn’t help), “because she didn’t have to”. That woman needed retraining then, and apparently, if it’s the same person, still could use some retraining. Why is she there? I certainly do not ever intend to venture back to your store to find out.I value my money, and to whom I like to spend it with. bella belle: Bare shelves! In these times I understand there being an inventory dip - but unfortunately this store's lack of inventory reminded me of a "going out of business" sale. They do have signs up all over the store saying their buyers are trying to restock their stores --- buuuttt I would say the shelves were at least 65% empty and they are even moving merchandise around trying to make it look fuller - ie: bath stuff where the aisle says food and no food (jams) in stock. I will try again when the store has been stocked.

I was told the "IN STOCK" means it is somewhere in a warehouse, not in the store. That was very frustrating to me and made me very angry.

I was told by the cashier it could not be returned without a receipt or price sticker. I checked the Home Goods policy online, which indicated I could return without receipt/sticker for store credit and called the Springfield store to confirm. I was told that without a receipt or sticker I could return it for in store credit, so I returned to the store the next day. I was told I could not return the item for in store credit - store policy. I have a credit card statement that shows purchases I've made at Home Goods this season. I've been a loyal customer, but I will not return to Home Goods (or sister stores) in the future, nor will I recommend. That's my policy.

And half of their clearance items are broken or missing pieces and belong in the garbage. Everything else is completely overpriced and most can be found elsewhere way cheaper.

Glenn Morgan: This is the place to go for high quality products with good prices. For what you pay for new junk you can buy high quality gently used items. P.W.: Finders Keepers is the best fine antiques store in Springfield. They have the highest quality pieces around. It is also one of the only places in town where you can find really large furniture pieces- big dining tables, bed frames, etc. Such a great place!

Steven Harber: What a fantastic selection of high quality, high end, unique, antique furniture! Some of the prices are a little high, but reasonable and most are negotiable. In the back they have a lot of decent used furniture that would be suitable for everyday use. I found the staff very knowledge and friendly. It is a fairly clean environment which is especially impressive considering all of the furniture they have to keep dusted and sweep around. To those who criticize this establishment with low ratings for not being your average buck or two junk store, that's not fair and y'all shouldn't do that. I can't afford some of the items either, but I still think this place rocks!
