John Dandurand: I had my first shopping experience at AtHome today and will not be shopping here again.I purchased RF Wall Grid Storage (UPC: 789112044118) on 6/2/2023.Upon purchase and preparation for installation, I learned that 2 brackets right brackets were missing. I had received 4 of the left brackets same in the box; there were to be two left and two right per the instructions. I returned the item and prepared to purchase another one with the correct parts.Prior to second purchase I asked to check the item to ensure the correct pieces were there with the checker who was very kind and helpful. Upon opening, the exact same item had 3 left brackets and one right bracket. This confirms a systemic packaging issue.The manager, Joe, was called over to see if we could check another box and he declined to do so.So, it would seem that he would rather sell a defective product to the next customer rather than ensure that the product was correctly packaged (and I was prepared to purchase this item again if another box had the correct parts).Customers beware - the manager at this store is likely knowingly facilitating the sale of defective items and would rather do this than make it right.

This is especially with lighting. The other day it was so bad I put everything down and left. This is my third time to the store seeing this. If you're going to change prices make sure they are all changed before putting them on the floor. I seen literally boxes of multiples with one price and another with changed prices. Some no price at all just white labels covering them.

Heather Leverich: Just had a very frustrating interaction at this store. I purchased items using my rewards points and now when I want to return them they will not refund me for the full purchase amount. It won't refund my reward credits and they won't refund the cash. They only will refund a tiny portion of I purchase that I actually spent cash on. Instead of just overriding the price and giving me a refund for the two items I was trying to return with a receipt within the return deadline, they refuse to and gave me an email to complain to. There's no phone number to call. Every time I try to use my reward points here I run into some issue. No one ever notified me that there's a policy I can't have my reward points refunded after I purchase something and in fact on my receipt it said I could have hassle-free receipt list returns. The manager they brought to speak with me was not at all accommodating and did not try to help. I will be emailing and hopefully finding some help with my issue and I will be looking for a different credit card to use for rewards because this is the last straw for me. Every time I try to use the rewards the workers don't know how to use the reward points and they try to tell me I can only use one reward point certificate for transaction even though that's not true. I've previously returned things I've purchased with reward points and I was refunded the full amount. I'm not sure why today was so different all of a sudden.Also, for anyone else in need of customer service at at home store, you can quickly Google in 3 seconds and find the customer service number. My husband did it in the parking lot. I'm not sure why that was impossible for the manager to do while I was in the store.I noticed the response from the business suggesting I contact customer service for assistance with my issue. Believe I called an emailed repeatedly and no one in customer service did anything to help me. So I guess don't buy anything with your rewards points unless you are 100% certain you won't want to return your items.

Not knowing if it was the same manager but the review snapped a memory back into my thoughts of how I was rudely treated at that same store.I quit going to your store a few years ago. I wanted to purchase a small Halcyon pill box you had on display. I have never been accused of thievery of any type. The treatment I received that day from your manager, no one should be subjected to.The Halcyon Pill Box was in a locked case. I could see the price, I asked to see it and she, the manager, retrieved the pill box, herself, to let me inspect it. I said I would purchase it. When checking out, she, the manager, looked at the price, said it was marked wrong and would not honor the price shown. She could not have been more rude during the checkout after I questioned why she would not honor the marked price. She said, (and rudeness and dirty looks from her didn’t help), “because she didn’t have to”. That woman needed retraining then, and apparently, if it’s the same person, still could use some retraining. Why is she there? I certainly do not ever intend to venture back to your store to find out.I value my money, and to whom I like to spend it with. I had planned to take other purchases that day but happily left them on your checkout counter. I haven’t been back since.John Deere Wells

They do have signs up all over the store saying their buyers are trying to restock their stores --- buuuttt I would say the shelves were at least 65% empty and they are even moving merchandise around trying to make it look fuller - ie: bath stuff where the aisle says food and no food (jams) in stock. I will try again when the store has been stocked.

Jamie Burchett: I went to the lawn and garden to buy 24 landscape blocks. When checking out at the outside lawn and garden register, they scanned the 24 block. Then, because I had 100.00 bill, they told me I would have to go inside and check out again because they couldn't cash it out there. That they didn't have enough money. Now my bill was 76 dollars, and some change. Do you mean at your busiest time of year they didn't have the 20 some dollars and change? Come on Lowe's you can do better.

Woodpecker Peckswood: my review is based on lack of customer service at this location and I come here often. today I just ordered something online and went to pick it up. as I arrived the employee standing at pick up took off their vest and walked away. I look over and see 5 people in the return line. Kenzie and Nate both working customer service . After 5 min or so neither acknowledged me, so I ask loudly if Im supposed to move over to the return line. Nate said yes. Geez thanks Nate for telling me after standing there visible to you for over 5 minutes. Kenzie ended up helping me but lacked basic knowledge how to read the screen and kept referring to my purchase as "the thing with a weird name" it's was a sander.. 😄. so you can't expect to save time or pick up items here with any efficiency because you end up in their slow return line with everyone else. this has happened simular a few times. then another time I purchased $140 at the store and apparently your system was glitching because the cashier told me it didn't work and to run my card again. well of course she ran the purchase twice but I only received one receipt. so I didn't know until I got home and my bank account is empty. I called and was told to come in to fix it. when I did I couldn't get the customer service person to give me the refund it turned into a, get me your manager situation. just ridiculous! clearly hiring the youngest people that have zero clue how to treat a customer or have any sense of urgency .. everyone is aloof and annoyed they have to help a customer. well im annoyed at this branch and your lack of management and training so you get a deserved review.

When we got to the point of getting the financing the older gentleman helping us seemed frustrated that our budget wasn’t 10000 plus dollars. We ended up finding a mattress we liked and it was fairly cheap compared to the tempurpedic. He kept reminding us that our budget barely allowed the mattress and we should try other financing companies which I did not want to do. He was very pushy and not once did he thank us for purchasing or anything. We had a younger guy named Dante who I would assume was being trained he was very friendly and not pushy. We decided to purchase our recliner elsewhere because the older gentleman was so pushy and kinda rude. My boyfriend got approved for a lot more than I did and I all we saw was dollar signs in the older gentleman’s face. He kept trying to sell us adjustable bases for as much as our mattress cost which we repetitively declined. Looking back we should’ve just walked out but we really liked the mattress we got.

Doug Edens: Finish failed on a table included in a $2,000 dining room set within 5 months and Ashley informed us they don’t stand behind any quality issues if the day it was delivered the furniture is in good order. I have been an Ashley customer for 30 years and could not imagine they don’t stand behind any quality issues with their products, I guess we were lucky up to this point.You can see form the photos the tables finish is clearly delaminating with widespread finish failure.After we contacted Asley in January after a long delay, they sent out a repair person in April who agreed it was an unrepairable condition. After 5 weeks of no word, I called Asley this week to find out the next step and was told “we determined not to cover the damage because when we delivered the table it was in good condition and that is our standard policy”.When I asked when this decision was made, they said in April. I asked why didn’t you contact us with the result then? Response, nothing, not an apology or anything. Let’s recap; their policy is to not stand behind any quality issues and to not communicate with their customers. Is there any major store in Springfield that has such a policy? If there was would you knowing shop there? Of course not.
