Tmom: From touring to getting my mother-in-law moved in, Brent Crawford and staff ( Angela & Leighann) gave us excellent service. We needed to get her in fast and they made that happen. What sold me on the tour is, friendly staff, clean, Residence looked very happy, and the programs they have to keep them active. Also a very good price point. Brent and staff have treated my mother-in-law and us like family instead of just another person. Thank you to the Bungalows at Chesterfield Village!!

Saint SGF: If the senior your thinking about putting in this home can't completely care for themselves from undressing to getting to the bathroom, to feeding themselves...do not put them here...this is basically an apartment complex..I see very little staff present and have seen first hand neglect in patient with limited mobility..

Staff is excellent!2020 - Best of the best! The staff goes to great lengths, above and beyond to give personal care. Their administration staff is caring and hands-on. The facility is clean and organized with plenty of personal touches. Food is good - my loved one is gaining weight!During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am very happy that she is there. I trusted their preparation and follow-through with keeping everyone safe. And, they did! Hats off to the entire staff.They are 5-Stars for a good reason. They do a wonderful job providing a great environment for residents.

Katherine Crossman: I mistakingly made a bad post about an employee there Falonna Scott, it wasn't supposed to post, the ex and I had a fight and I was retaliating in anger and thought I had deleted it and not posted it, however it seems it did post, I never had a resident there nor did she treat anyone in a bad manner to my knowledge. I sincerely apologize for the trouble this mistake caused, I'm embarrassed as I thought I had deleted it before it posted. This won't happen again.

Kathy Arnold: My mom and dad both reside at Morningside of Chesterfield Village. I am VERY pleased with the care and attention they receive. Their health has improved since moving in because they receive consistent care. The staff is pretty amazing. I’ve observed the workers of every station take care of whatever is needed at a particular moment (example: if Dad is having trouble with his TV remote and one of the cleaning staff or nursing staff happens to come in, they don’t hesitate to help). Everyone is friendly and will always smile and say hello. I truly appreciate the administrative staff helping with insurance issues—so patient with me. Such a relief having my parents cared for when my sister and I are not around.

KIMBERLY GOOD: My mother-in-law just recently move in here. They have been nothing short of amazing with our family and with her. This was a hard transition for her as she moved from her home town of 87 years but they’ve made her feel right at home here. From loaning furniture until we could get hers up here, helping physically move, offering any assistance to cleaning her after an accident with diarrhea. She loves the food and the residents that live here make her feel so welcome and she hasn’t been here long. She’s been more social than she has in a long time. We would highly recommend this caring facility!

karyn hembree: My mom has been a resident for almost 3 years. It has been a great experience for her. She loves all of the activities and the staff who help care for her. The food is good and their special gatherings are really top notch. The facility just had a Bingo Gala which was very well attended and so much fun. Live music, tons of great door and Bingo prizes, and the food was really good. It’s a really nice place for loved ones who need a little extra help but still maintain their independence.

Rich Papa: My parents have been at this facility for the last year and 8 months. They have received excellent care. The staff is caring and professional. The only thing I would like to see changed in the dining and public use areas are chairs that are rollers. This is safety issue in my mind and also I heard it said to me from the health care workers from their medical provider that the chairs on rollers are a safety issue. Please consider on the corp. level to replace these chairs without rollers. Thanks.

Amber Blackburn: I honestly do not feel words can even truly express how wonderful everyone at this facility is. And how grateful we are for their kind hearts. Everyone in the office, and the facility, that we have worked with especially Philip, Debbie, Tammara & Trisha have been just phenomenal. They provided us with all the information we could have ever needed. They never made us feel like we were a bother to them no matter how many questions I had or emails I sent. This was a whole new experience for us as Grandma had always lived independently prior to an infection that impacted her so badly that she is no longer able to. We didn’t know exactly what we were looking for size wise or level of care wise. But Philip, Debbie and Trisha made the process so easy.Trisha and Philip went out of their way to spend HOURS with my Grandma the day before she was to totally move in to make sure she really felt comfortable with the sections. Trisha even called to share what had occurred at 6pm on a Friday evening. When she easily could have just gone home. Needless to say Grandma was NOT happy about giving up her freedom or moving out of the neighborhood she’s been in most of her life. The thing is that neither of them had to do that and neither were asked to do so. They saw a problem/need and decided they would do all they could to make sure a solution was found and that Grandma felt comfortable with the decision. Trisha and Philip went out of their way and gave up the time that they could have been using to do their true jobs. Instead they took the time to listen to her reservations about the move and found ways to remedy most of those issues.I could go on and on about great this place is, but I won’t. The last thing I will say is that my Grandma is not the easiest person in the world to please. But she has gone on and on about how truly lovely every single person she has encountered during her stay is. I truly feel that this facility and everyone we have come into contact with during the last couple weeks have been amazing. Anyone who is able to move into Morningside East would be lucky.

Mary Blackburn: We just moved my mom to Morningside. She was not a happy camper. Wanted to stay on north side of town. Trish spent several hours with her yesterday. They discussed my moms concerns. She had a complete change of heart. Trish went above and beyond her job duties. Thanks also to Debbie and Phillip. This is a wonderful place to call home. Big rooms and the food is wonderful.

They get wonderful food, fun activities and can enjoy their beautiful courtyard. They are also pet friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Morningside of Springfield East to family or friends.

Angela Abbott: It's beautiful and immaculate, but that's as far as it goes. When touring for a family member, I asked if they would help her to the dining room and help her with showering. I was assured of both, since it is ASSISTED living. The head nurse assessed, and cleared, my family member as able to live there, but once moved in, this nurse berated her, repeatedly, about what she needed assistance with. (Specifically getting to the dining room and showering.) She was demeaning and hateful and we found out that she's like that with pretty much everyone. The dining room is spacious and beautiful, but the food is no better than a nursing home. A lot about the place was seriously misrepresented. I suggest doing respite with them before committing to renting an apartment to save having to pay the community fee. ($1,000) We are glad we went that route, at least.The reason I even gave more than one star is because most of the aides on staff, who actually assist tenants, are wonderful. They seem to understand that the people living there are paying customers, deserving of respect.

Libby Phillips: My mother lived at Morningside for 2 and 1/2 years. The staff was very attentive, supportive and loving. She was placed at a dining table with a group of ladies who were perfect for her. The building is very nice and furnished beautifully. If you are looking for a place in Springfield, I can think of none better.

BASS HEAD 4 LYFE: Very deceptive place !! If Angela Haile LPN -RSD will lie repeatedly to its applicants she will lie to anyone about anything !! I was lied to repeatedly by this woman was told I would get a return phone call 6x never ever received one. The thing is if you lie about 1 thing you’ll lie about another so I’m sure there is underlying issues here as well
