lccgl479: Today’s visit was a scheduled spring checkup on our HVAC System. We received a text from SS&B letting us know that our technician, Ryan was on his way. I received another text upon his arrival. Ryan introduced himself and explained what he was here to do today. He put coverings over his shoes prior to coming inside our home. He checked out our thermostat as well as the filters in the returns. He then moved into the garage where he accessed the HVAC system to perform required testing there. Ryan then went into the crawl space, at my request, to check out the ductwork. He finished his service by cleaning the coils and testing the capacitors. Ryan was friendly, courteous and professional. Jackie Johnson: Excellent customer service. The process, what I needed, how things should work; everything was broken down and explained to me in a way that I could understand without being talked down to.They have been out to install all new HVAC for both zones of my house. Always prompt and professional but you definitely feel they have your best interests at heart and aren't 100% there for just the paycheck.Would absolutely recommend to family, friends and strangers.
Stephen Carr: I had a great experience with Show Me Heating & Cooling! They came out after I requested help through Home Depot. The units came with a rebate and long warranty. What really made my experience great is the owner, Darrell Hopkins. He was pleasant, oriented to my needs and nowhere near as pushy as other HVAC reps. His integrity is outstanding. He misquoted the amount I'd get for the rebate from Home Depot, telling me I'd get $400 dollars. When Home Depot sent me a rebate of $150, he mailed me a check for the difference! I would use this company again.
Jared Swearengin: I called them at 8:30pm on Tuesday and scheduled an appointment for a repair for 5:30pm on Wednesday. The time came and went and still no call. I tried to call at 6:15 and left a voicemail. I waited til 7:00pm before just leaving to go to church. My wife called at 8:45pm and she left a voicemail letting them know that we have 4 kids and its 87 degree's in the house and never did I get a response back from them. They installed the unit 2 years ago into a new house that I bought and I told them that it should be under warranty and they said that's ok, well it looks like that is why they probably didn't want to fix it. Good news though I called AIR SERVICES and they were out that same day and fixed the issue. Turns out the set screw wasn't tightened down enough and the fan was able to move making a loud screeching noise. I will not be using them again.
Greg Marlin: If you're having problems with your HVAC unit Daryl Hopkins with Show-Me Heating & Cooling is the person to call. He works through the Home Depot and I would highly recommended him. I had a bad experience with someone else who only wanted to sell me a full new system so I called Daryl for a second opinion. He came out quickly and solved the problem saving me a ton of money. I did not really need a new system yet. My old unit is now working better than ever. I wish I would have found this guy as my first call.

Rick John: I've used Lorenz for plumbing and they've always done a great job... so when our AC wasn't keeping up on Saturday, I called them for that as well. It was 6 degrees higher than the thermostat was set and blowing room temp air from the vents. They came out same day, inspected it, said nothing was wrong and that it was probably humidity not allowing it to work properly, charged me $190 and left. To be clear, he was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable and I have no issues with the tech personally.The next day however, the thermostat showed 11 degrees higher than the thermostat was set for. We turned it off and let it rest for a few hours. We turned it back on to see if it would work enough to let us sleep. It was blowing cold air again and working fine, until about 4am when it started blowing room temp air again and I woke up sweating.Lorenz called the next day... I explained that I wasn't very happy because it was 85 degrees in my house the previous day so there's clearly something wrong with it. She offered to send a manager out a day later, for another $110. Just seemed like throwing good money after bad so I told them we'll use a different company for AC from now on. She said she was sorry about that but that she understood.I gave them 3 stars because their plumbing side seems solid. We'll probably still use them for that.EDIT: Lorenz called and apologized and said that they wouldn't be charging us for the weekend call. I respect a company that makes it right so I'm upping this to 5 stars. I'll give them another chance for AC if needed and will adjust as necessary.
