Farmers Park Apartments: what do users think?
Kyle Owens: This place looks really nice from the outside, and is in a great part of town. But that’s about all I can say as on multiple occasions over the last couple months I have called (multiple numbers listed across multiple sites), emailed, and have even attempted to stop by their office multiple times with no response or a property manager on site to speak to. There are multiple newer apartment complexes in town now that are not only much more responsive, but with similar or better amenities.
Mitch Chance: My wife and I just recently sold our home that we've been living in for over 20 years. We have decided to try and find an apartment to live in for the next 2 to 3 years while we build the home we want to retire in as were both 60 years old nowWe thought we had narrowed our choices down to what we wanted to look at in Chesterfield Village and Farmers Park, however we have now emailed twice and called four different occasions to Farmers Park and I've only received 1 reply and it was in response to our email, they emailed me back.I've now left four different messages for a return phone call indicating that we would really like to come see the apartments as we need to make a decision soon, and if we need to wait a couple months before moving in we can make temporary arrangements if necessaryI've never experienced customer service so poorly as what I've experienced with Farmers Park not a single phone call back after four phone calls I've made and left messages for on four different days, discouraged and disappointed doesn't even begin to describe our feelings.
Cristian Ramirez: The worst place I have ever lived at, horrible customer service, was left 3 days with no water in my apartment first week I was there had a broken toilet was told by the maintenance crew that's how it was, until the toilet completely stopped working. Needed help with covid relief 2 times but was threatened to be evicted for my apartment after being late for 5 days. Had the worst experience during situations that the apartment complex was dealing with, I had no water for 3 full days and wasn't helped with anything, until I made it know I wasn't able to even have drink or showering water. In January of this year we had a freeze over and I was with out electricity from 3am till about 5pm in the afternoon when the temperature was around single digits. I had horrible experience with other tenets there and had nothing but rasicim at the apartment complex major reason why I left. Now that I've been out of the apartment complex a full month, I was charged for utilities for the month of January asked of I could use my deposit towards that, I have gotten so response back tried calling the location and no one ever answers. Tried emailing a few other times and nothing. AGAIN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVERN AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX.
Courtney Christopher: One of the worst places I have ever lived. The management team is horrible. They do not return your phone calls, on-boarding process is horrible and I’m still waiting on learning about the exit process but will not return my (5) phone calls and email I have sent.I would not recommend this place for the cost you are paying, the service is horrible.
Hyunjung Kim: I have lived in this apartment for the last three years. This apartment is really secured and an amazing place to live. All facilities and building are clean and nice, and the management team members are helpful and work hard for the residents all the time. I strongly recommend this apartment to you!
Amy Johansson: I moved to Springfield about a year ago and I really love living in this complex. It's close to stores and restaurants and it's neat to have the farmers market and other events going on right outside your door on the weekends! The management is amazing and are always responsive and helpful. Work orders are always taken care of in a timely manner. The apartments are REALLY nice and the big windows bring in a lot of natural sunlight to brighten up the rooms. I love the outdoor area, and so does my dog! It's a very pet and family friendly area and people who work in the stores are so nice! I do wish they had a few more doggie waste bag stations though so bags would be more accessible, but that's not a big deal. Overall, I'm very happy with everything here! I always feel safe walking my dog in the evenings and walking home from one of the restaurants at night.
Big See: After asking the management for a tour and having availability, management seemed reluctant to show me the property.During the tour one of the managers went M.I.A.While in the unit I was told about the apartment, and the manager said, “These windows are great for people watching.” which I found a little creepy. While explaining how secure the buildings were we both discovered a door that had been propped open. Then when it was time to come down the elevator we discovered an “accident” by a pet I assume, on the floor of the elevator.I won’t be living here. Save your money people
Terri Young: We love having our guests stay at Farmers Park.I have had the pleasure of working with Derek Smith for the last several years and he has always had the clients/guests best interest. It has been a pleasure and privilege to work with him, and he will be missed.Best of luck on your new adventures Derek!
C. Gilliam: Two years ago, I moved to Farmers Park. We were planning to build a retirement home, in the area, and wanted to be close to our daughter and granddaughter. After narrowing the options to three complexes I chose Farmers Park! I have never, not one single day regretted the decision.Derrick Smith, property manager, was knowledgeable about the area, provided data as requested, returned calls, texts, emails in a timely manner and was helpful at every step in the process.I had not lived in an apartment since my early college days so electronic key find, security cameras, safe (and inside) mailboxes, recycling, valet trash/recycle service at my door, package delivery to my door, emaculate tile areas, a community rool w/kitchen and all the necessary items to host meetings, meals or family dinners. I requested an organic garden spot and gardened #4 last year as a school project for my grandchildren. It was so much fun. You plant and gather your garden. The staff maintain the automatic watering system and "The Rain Cloud Pavillion" to sit in and catch a rest while the garden grows!Inside the secure apartment quiet indoor carpeting and heated and cooled hallways are an added touch. My husband loved the safe, electronically secured recreation room where his golf clubs and bicycle were always handy on the first floor. The safe weather stairwell was a blessing last year when tornado sirens alerted and residents moved quickly to a safe area. Everyone brought their pets and others helped as patents made several trips to retrieve children, pets and necessary cell phones, etc. It is a safe community!Every detail is measured and purposeful. The largest Farmers Market is right outside my building where local vendors, food trucks, flowers, micro brew services, and some of the finest brunch dining in Springfield - The Aviary is just an elevator ride away! The staff are friendly, helpful and caring. Ryan keeps "all things mechanical" on track with preventive maintanance checks (always with your consent) no surprises. I enjoyed a large corner apartment home with floor to ceiling, wrap around windows, a covered outdoor balcony for plants and taking in a Missouri sunset. It was perfect.Pet friendly does not describe the value Farmers Park places on fur babies! I have nine hall "friends" on my floor and any time I am taking my two Yorkies out for a walk my neighbors call them by name and always pause to chat and scratch a furry pet. It is wonderful. My home was just completed this week and it was time to say goodbye to my friends and neighbors at Farmers Park. Derrick, of course, made leaving as easy as my arrival. He personally called to see if I needed assistance or any support. He treated me with utmost respect and kindness. I will miss seeing him around the property. I will miss all the really good humans who call Farmers Park home.If you fond yourself in search of a safe, pet friendly, energy efficient, apartment home. Don't waste your time looking. I share my experience, without prompting, so you can rest assured Farmers Park is a great community to call home.
Corrina Clark: Beautiful
Valerie Rooney: Upscale apartments in a Class-A setting. Plenty of fresh food options just a 30 second walk away. Farmers Market of the Ozarks every Saturday and Parties at the Park with live music are huge bonuses! If you are new to the area, definitely check this place out.
Kalia Robinson: Has a very hipster vibe. It's in a good area, right next to several shopping areas, restaurants and the Springfield Nature Center, just puts off an eclectic elite feel. But if you like that sort of thing, it's actually a GREAT area.
Carey Wesling: I moved to Springfield a year ago. Farmer's Park was recommend to me and am I ever glad it was. I'm so happy here. I feel so safe and that is priority to me. The apartments are the nicest in the area. Hands Down!!The manager is always there to address any questions or concerns. I'm so happy, I know you will be too. If upscale professional living is what your a looking for, look no further.
Phillip Buening: I have lived at farmers park for about 4-1/2 months and it is awesome!!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!!
Springfield Batman: I have lived at Farmers Park since last April and it has been an awesome experience. Great events weekly, shopping , dining and shopping perks for living here. If you are looking for a fun and relaxing atmosphere , look no further, Farmers Park is your one stop shop.
Sarah Schaeffer: It truly does feel like home here! I've lived in my apartment for over a year and it's been amazing! The staff is always super helpful & quick to fix any issues! I'm obsessed with every detail of my apartment too from the flooring, to bathroom design, etc! You definitely get what you pay for here & it's worth every penny!
Mark Barto: I would like to start of by saying, I love this place the staff is wonderful. I love the fact that I feel safe for my wife to be home alone as the buildings are secured and Cameras located around the property. Also who could complain about being so close to a roof top bar and nice restaurants.
Simon Quan: Good

Craigmont Place: what do users think?
Marquez Williams: They are rude and will commit fraud to keep earning benefits.
Mary Danks: Been there to visit and so say the least they pay no attention to repairs or to infestations! Just to think they believe rubbing alcohol can get rid of bed bugs!!! Ive already advised the building inspector and the proper authorities about this management company and they are getting in touch with the public health dept. Then the county/state will be letting a few tenants know how to file for rent abatement since the problem has been going on for months with multiple people!! SLUM LANDLORDS!!
Sherri McQueen-Cheffey: The landlord Betty and the whole staff are amazing. Great place to live.
Jaron Proctor: This probably the worst experience I have ever had with any rental place in Springfield! It really should have a zero star rating! This is supposed to be a place that helps people in need of cheaper housing. That's the point of income base apartments! The lady who answers the phone she was down right rude! Then they don't return any calls! They just send you a letter that says you are denied! With checks boxes that doesn't even apply to you! In other words they are not here for helping people!

Jenny Lind Hall: what do users think?
James “Jim” Yeazel: I have been a resident here since 1/2010. The place was well maintained and everything worked as originally intended since it was built in 1977.There use to be a sliding window access directly from to the lobby to the office. It was opened every weekday morning, by where you could talk to the manager and the maintenance professional at any time. This window, and resident communication, was eliminated. The manager/maintenance professionals were always attentive to your needs, and communication between tenants and management was fluid and easy, making for simple and high moral communication between residents and manager/maintenance personnel.Unfortunately, since Millennia took over about 6 years ago, the above window was closed and all the above was abandoned. The original central a/c system was also abandoned; now we have only cheap, insufficient, noisy window units ! with only one of two windows accessable per apartment.Only one elevator is in operation since 2019; there should be two. This place has significantly gone downhill during the last 6 years, or so since Millennia showed up. The window to the office from the lobby needs to be re-opened as originally designed when built, to restore the open, effective, high moral, friendly communication between the residents and the manager/maintenance staff. There have been nearly 8 managers and many more maintenance people that have come and gone since Millennia took over. The focus used to be on the residents needs and desires. Now you are just told what and when to do it.Old-fashioned service with a smile used to be the norm here, now it has ceased to exist.
Sharon Solders: Manager is attentive to needs. Maintenance does good job.Pet friendly that's a plus.Utlities a very helpful
Alan Buckwalter: Not a completely positive experience, bot the price is right.
Brenda Thurlow: Nice placed to live. spacious. pet friendly. convenient bus stop. parking if you have a car. close to everything i need. nice closet spaces. pantry in kitchen. variety of nice, caring, people work and/or live here.
SLE Casper: I have my reasons.
TDS Darth Wage: This place is terrible, it is income based in which is good, but that's like doing a deal with the devil. This place has 2 elevators in which keep breaking down. The neighbors do nothing but gossip on one another. When you move in here you lose your freedom of speech. This building has had several infestations. If you are a smoker this is your worst nightmare. The Windows need fixed but have not been fixed in a very long time. A lot of the people here are 2 of 3 things, they are either rude and racist, or rude and sexist, and that goes for both men and women in this building. The hall ceilings will leak when it rains. They will only fix your unit up to code when someone moves out, or before someone is moving in. The cops come here often and so do the paramedics. Most of the floors stink due to pet owners. The side walk needs fixed. In the summer they turn off your heater and in the winter they turn off your a.c. so that choice is not even yours to make. One of the tenants instigated an argument with me and I got wrote up for saying something back. This place is super religious so if you are not Christian then this place will be your worst nightmare. I caught my neighbor trying to listen in on my door. Most of the women in this building hate men and talk badly about men often. I have caught several tenants in this building doing illegal drugs. Do I really need to say more? This place is a over religious nut house that I would not recommend anyone to move to unless you have no where else to go. This place is literally a last resort option and it's best you make your stay temporary.
Coni Eavenson: Good for those in one based. Has two elevat ok r and CHEAP laundry services.
POKE VERSE LLC: The prople there were very rude, I didn’t feel welcome there. So, I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

Park Place Apartments: what do users think?
Elizabeth Sweeney: They have been doing many improvements to this property. Overall, great location and the price is reasonable.
H R: Love the pool! The property is clean and beautiful. Amazing staff.
Shelby Brown: Where to even begin, I had very high hopes for living here. Everything started out pretty smooth paying was cheap and leasing office staff were very nice and personable. But since I moved into a un-remodeled apartment I had to document preexisting damagesetc., I let them know that the dishwasher wasn't turning on and the caulking around the bedroom window was molded. It took them around a week to even replace the dishwasher and after 8 months thewindow is still untouched, not to mention the window and patio door are so old they leak air horribly. I was very disappointed with the fact that the walls looked as if they were stained yellow, the carpet was never shampooed before I moved in. And the exterior of the building needs updated extremely bad. There's cracksand holes in the siding. Even though the leasing office staff has been very nice I have ALWAYS had a hard time getting them to answer the phone during business hours, return calls, respond to messages on the apartment app. My garbage disposal quit working probably over 5 times and within the last time it was fixed my sink started leaking. And I am currently onday 2 of waiting for them to either call back or respond to the service request and start fixing it, I can't even use my sink because leak is so bad. After finding it myself I noticed that there was mouse poison under the sink. At no point was I made aware of a pest problem. And now that I know there is a problem I know that I am actually hearing mice scratching in the walls. Recently I started having issues with the apartment below me and their dogs barking for hours, to the point that it was affecting mysleep. I reached out to the office and after a couple days they finally got back to me and said they were taking care of it. 2 months later the dogs are still barking and they have yet to do anything, their advice was to contact Task 9 every time the dogs barked. In the long run this was a good starter apartment but I will not be renewing my lease.
Mere She: My husband and I lived here for 2 and a half years! Sarah, the office manager, was the best thing about this place! Always so nice when picking up packages in the office, or if she ever needed to reach out to us she was always so kind. Anytime we had an issue we simply talked to her or Ron from maintenance and the issue was fixed. Our move out process was thankfully EASY. Seeing the google reviews it scared us, as we feared we would be charged an arm and leg for small various damages that just happen when you live in a place for a long time, but I can say that was not the case for us at all. In the time we lived there we took very good care of our "home", and when we moved out we left very little damage to the apartment, cleaned the best we could, and we COMMUNICATED with Ron & Sarah letting them know the damages, along with our concerns. We did NOT break a lease, we treated this place like it was our own the entire time we lived here, we fixed what we could (with permission of course), but most importantly we stayed in contact with Sarah. At the end of moving out we paid $24 at move out, that was it! My tips for you moving out to avoid charges is to 1. Don't break your lease 2.Clean the place the best you can 3.READ THE LEASE!!!! 4. Communicate with Sarah with any concerns or issues 5. Respect the staff and they will respect you. I promise it goes a long way.😊As far as living at Park Place I believe it is your average apartment living experience. Dog park was a great addition, the pool is nice on summer evenings, and we got along just fine with neighbors. Yes, it was noisy at times, teenagers running around at night, and some theft, but once again communicate with the office or the 24 hour security. This place was just fine for my Husband and I for the time we were there, but as we are about to have our first child, we thought it was a good time to get a "big kid house". If you are a young couple or just looking for a fresh start this is the perfect place for you! Right down the road from Walmart Neighborhood Market, Dollar General, and some fast food which was a bonus!👍🏼 Once again, read your lease and have some respect!
BOOSTED BOSS: Very shady people here. We stayed here for roughly 4 months an on our last week of staying there they went in our apartment an turned the heat up an we had a mattress that went missing right after they weThrough the apartment an claim they never saw it. I wouldnt recommend the place to anyone. They will be hearing from our lawyer!
Hannah Broyles: Lived here for just under 2 years, ALWAYS paid rent on time, never had any complaints from surrounding tenants, we were always very good tenants. No reward for it. Over $900 in “security deposits” only to find out at move out these are not only non-refundable, but are not applied to any damages in the apartment. Our puppy got ahold of a set of blinds, I wrongfully assumed the $300 pet deposit would cover this charge. Apparently not. Charged a total of $164.00 at time of move-out for various cleaning charges and things that were very insignificant. Had it been explained prior to move-in that these deposits are not actually security deposits, and will not be used to cover normal wear and tear damages, I would not have lived here. Who is going to pay $1000 in deposits only to be charged even more when they move out? We also always kept our apartment pristine. Very unhappy with this company and hoping to save the next couple who makes the mistake of living here some money by warning you in advance. Walls are insanely thin, electricity bill always through the roof when we were always modest on our usage. Internet is terrible. Overall, not worth the monthly rent, let alone all the charges that come with living here. I didn’t believe the reviews, took a chance and got burned! Steer clear!
Rebecca Andrus: You will pay an application fee, a $200 non refundable pet deposit, a $300 deposit and still end up owing them money when you move out because the $300 deposit suddenly becomes a $100 application and $200 processing fee. To process what is unknown. You will have a hole in your floor that you ask to get fixed repeatedly and it never does, it just becomes larger and larger and after having them “fix” your toilet for the fourth time you just give up and live with a towel around the bottom to catch all of the toilet water. And this is if you pay your rent on time every month for four years. No rewards for being good tenants.
Cora Sutton: Fees from over a year ago were only brought up once in December. We talked to the office manager about them and she said we didn’t need to pay them. Now it’s late February and they sold the fees to collections... They will lie right to your face and do what they want. Save the headache and your credit score and do not move in. *The fees from what they told us were for light bulbs and a taking out a trash bad of Walmart bags*
Sam Lassiter: Lived here on two separate occassions first time fine lived there a while year fine no problems, but the second time was more difficult wouldnt answer when something broke and wouldnt co-operate with you when it came to difficult matters. If you decide to leave during your lease or break it they will try to nickle and dim you years down the road after you left hoping you have no way to prove you paid them when you did or if you did. They're also constantly changing office management so often at times you get somebody who has no clue (or pretends) to not understand the difficult situation they're putting you in. Better off financially living in a bed bug infested hotel. Again it's been over a year since I lived there still finding fees they're selling to collections to make some money. Also neighborhood has gone to hell and filling with crime. DONT MOVE HERE!
Zero Kio: Excited about moving in.
Brooke Pickens: Horrible would not recommend living here. My boyfriends bike was stolen. His truck was broken into and they did nothing about it. No cameras. Horrible!!!
Cody: -Your rent payments, or in my case lease-breaking payments, can and do disappear. Keep records if you interact with them and always go inside. I used the drop box and they lost my money order. One of the girls called me to tell me they were turning me over to collections because I hadn't paid them since March. I told her that couldn't be because I made a payment two weeks prior. (I knew so because I had the receipt from the money order I purchased). Had I not kept that, I wouldn't have had a way to defend myself.-Adding onto that, they have cameras outside but still can't prove that I have paid, even though I have a record of the date and general time that I paid them. Receipt should have been enough, so far it isn't but okay.Live somewhere else in town. Springfield has lots of nice places to live, so P.P. may have decent places but in the long run it isn't worth it.
Jason Sullivan: I have to agree with curtissam and cassie. My lease just ended February 2016 thank god. First of all very poor building structure. My walls literally seperated from the ceiling. The ceiling was bowing in towards the end of the lease. Windows cracked and hairlined. Very poor insulation. A/c or heat would run continually to maintain a 73 degrees never got it to 70. Water heater caught fire 3 times maintenance denied it ever did. I went to lowes and picked up a new thermostat to fix it i paid for it so i took the one i bought back off and put theirs on. Maintenance never cared for the roof or walls problem. If something does break and you get them to replace it they just walk to the next empty apartment for the "replacement". Goes to say the appliances in the units are older than me. High speed Internet is a joke 300kbps is very far from HIGH. You may get lucky and have neighbors that are quiet or work alot. If not walls, floors, ceilings are paperthin. If your thinking about renting here just find an old 1970s ran into the ground half abandoned in a shi*** part of town subtract the front desk completely motel and stay a night. Also for the love of pete stop calling that little piss pot a swimming pool pretty bad when 5 year olds are bullies of the "deep end". Keep looking for other places plenty of nice ones are out there!
Cassie Stone: I have lived at park place for 3 years and they lie about having security, (no one shows up no matter how many times you call). Their building quality is horrible. I couldn't count how many times maintenance had to come to fix SOMETHING. The management doesn't give a crap about their tenants, they lie to get out of their responsibilities to their tenants. If i could've afforded to move sooner i would have.
CQ FishBrain: I would not recommend park place apartments also associated with golden pond apartments, reason being i signed a lease at park place apartments in Springfield MO July 2013 when i first moved in within 2 days i noticed my air conditioner was not working correctly, i called the manager Mary she told me she would send up the maintenance personal to look at it the next day at 12pm. The next morning the maintenance man shows up at 8am looks at the heating and cooling control unit says he will be back that he has to go get replacement parts, he shows up 10 mins later with the "replacement part" that is going to fix my air conditioner he proceeds to replace the plastic cover from the control unit with another plastic control unit ( the control unit was at least from the 90's) and tells me its fixed, i knew all he did was replace the plastic cover and i told him that was not going to fix it that there had to have been something wrong with the actual outside unit not the control panel he then proceeded to tell me it was fixed so i called the manager Mary she then proceeded to tell me she would have another worker up there to look at it... nobody showed i reminded her again still nothing, threw out my time living there i started noticing things being misplaced and moved my TV would be on when i came home or food like cereal would be on my counter it was weird to me so i hid a camera turned out the maintenance guy was going into my apartment and rummaging threw my things and staying in my apartment when i was not there i worked ALOT! and was barley home i then confronted the manager Mary about my discovery she apologized but did nothing about the situation, so i ended up changing the locks with out permission to insure my safety( i did put the old locks on before moving out) August 23 2013 i had a family member pass and i needed to move to help my remaining family financially, i went into the office and talked to Mary about the early lease breaking option we talked about the paperwork and i decided to break my lease in the paperwork lease breaking contract it states i would not owe anything but a $415 lease breaking fee we signed the paper work and i had till November 28th 2013 to be out of the apartment so i packed a Uhaul with almost everything but a few boxes and went to my families house. I then returned to finish getting my things out of the apartment once finished i went to give the keys to Mary the manager the office was closed i then called Mary and asked her when she would be in the office she said she wouldn't be in the rest of the day and to just leave the keys in the drop box (because i had a 2 hour drive back) so i put the keys into an envelope with my apartment number and name on it and went home a year later i get a call from PDM a credit collection agency stating that i owed almost $1,000 to park place after talking to the agency i then became aware that park place turned me over to collections for an eviction, lawsuit fees, and an extermination bill, PDM stated that the manager Mary had tried to contact me via phone and sent out notification letters i then told them i had not received letters or had been contacted by Mary they then read the address Mary had "sent" letters to and the address turned out to be the apartment i moved out of, within the breaking lease contract i had wrote down my new forwarding address so why Mary would send information to my old address is beyond me. I still had the breaking lease contract and the money order receipt for the $415 for the breaking lease fee, the law suit fees apparently came from them taking me to court, i never received letters stating that i needed to be in court or that i was being sued I have almost reached the limit of characters for this rating and would like to tell more but the moral of this rate is that park place apartments are crooks they will find every loop hole and claim you have done something you havent for money they will try to get you for every dime you have, their apartments are old and broken down and they do not care to properly fix things
Suzi Patterson: Great management. Always addressed our concerns immediately. Only complaint, non residents parking in restricted areas and taking up residents parking.
bob boboo: Horrible business module. They will charge you just to look at their apartments.
Jasmine Pollom: The management is awesome, the maintenance guys are awesome. I'm a 21 yr old girl living by myself and I've never felt unsafe.
Nicholas Barber: our apartment got shot up, what does that tell you. but new management is better.
