Buster: I love the lady that works here I think she took over for her dad when he passed away she has been nothing but amazing I would trust her more than I would some of these sales people from these big chain stores. I have purchased at least four sets of tires amongst other work to more than one vehicle and she is always been amazing it's a mom and pop shop for sure but it is the best mom and pop shop ever they've got it together their technicians do a good job I'm very proud of this lady she has taken this place and kept it going and she knows what she's doing she's dominating a man's world I trust her a lot I recommend her and anyone that is nervous about going to an auto shop do not be nervous when dealing with her she tells you the truth she does not BS and she's extremely honest I have not had an experience like dealing with her that's been this good in a long time she has me as a customer for as long as I'm in Tower Grove South.

Ram Mar: I have a bad experience of my vehicle Alignment with "Chippewa Tire" "they wasn't do it right" my tires have worn and clanking when I turn right or left, all of this happened after they made the alignment, I went back to the shop "40 days later" the manger lady she said the warranty only one month and the warranty is over, that lady with the fake smile, she said we can do another alignment but not for free that I have to pay for her another $100 dollars to fix the alignment. I hope my experience helps the others to find out "shops do jobs well done or "shops just for to get your money"

Took my car to another shop and exactly as I thought the same work was done for less than a third of what I was quoted. I also paid almost $300 for no work at all to be done just for them to look at it. But i told them that i wanted to keep the tire that they replaced...it was damn near new. They said , "ok". Few days later i remembered about wanting to keep the tire but it was long gone

Andrew Fite: I would like to thank Ron and crew who was working March 12, 2023, not only for taking care of the tire issues my family had while traveling thought St. Louis, but for being professional and understanding to the situation they were in. My family had a tire blow out, which basiclly stranded them in St. Louis overnight. I called Firestone, and with no appointments availiable, Ron didnt hesitate to allow us to have the car towed to Firestone, and he agreed he would do his best to get it back on the road that day. Later it was found the tires needed were not in stock. Ron researched and found them local, had the tires delivered and indeed what Im sure was already a busy day for the shop, was able to find time to install the tires. This getting the family on the road and back to Kansas City. Thank you again.Service:Tires
Gary Seid: Unable to accurately track the tires they sell with road hazard attached to them. So if you damage a tire, it’s not guaranteed they will cover the repair. And somehow this is my fault. Something about I “could have bought the tire from Walmart” because their record keeping is flawed. Keep your receipts. Don’t count on them. And double check your bill. They aren’t paying attention to what they charge you for.

rob k: Would not go here.very slow. I brought a work van here to do a ball joint. They up sold enterprise (leasing company) a brake job. I specifically checked this myself before Brought here. When i called they said nothing about the balljoint and said they are waiting for a “one time use brake part”. I’ve worked on cars for a long time and never heard of a stretch to yield bolt on brake components, but i could be wrong. They had, I’m assuming another tech recheck and sure enough ball joint is wasted. In the mean time, waiting over a week now for this “one time use part” still without a work van. Lesson: go to the dealer for anything other than tires . Places like this, for the most part, do not have quality techs. You get what you pay for!

Jakob Barker: Great first experience last September but today when I tried calling at 745am, no answer. So I drove over was there at 8am, half an hour after they said they were open which they have posted as 730am on there website and front door. The main office is locked and no one was there. Disappointed bc I really liked the shop.

This has happened at the St. Louis Hampton location (also, aren't all locations supposed to be open at 7:30 am??). I went to a different location (St. Louis - Kingshighway) and was able to get in right away. The staff at the Kingshighway location were friendly and got me in & out fairly quickly.

Because he probably could on either one of those days depends on what has to be done on the 3-4 cars he mentioned. He Never called on Wednesday, so I figure I’ll call on Thursday to get an update on when I should bring my vehicle. Once called, he said I was suppose to be there on Wednesday when he never even call me to bring my vehicle up there. Then stated he won’t be able to get to me til next week. What was the point of taking my information down when you didn’t even call? how was I suppose to know when to bring my vehicle? So unprofessional. Didn’t do and not going to do business with this company.. not professional to get the run around.

Miranda Scott: Got my car in with no appointment on a Friday, which was nice. Took them 4 hours to look at my brakes. They gave me an estimate for $990, front brakes and rotors. I called my best friend who works for a car dealership software company, to ask how badly I was getting screwed. She called up one of the more higher end dealerships to run an estimate and they said $550. She drove up to help me renegotiate (she's much more well-spoken than me). I'm paraphrasing.My friend: 'we both know this repair doesn't cost this'.Manager: 'What part of the itemized receipt do you not agree with?"Friend: "Well for starters this Life+SVC guarantee... What is that?" [Was an estimated cost of $100-$200]Manager: "I can get that taken off..."Friend: "okay that's a start"Manager: "okay I can't do at a dealership cost but I can do..." *Writes $750 on the estimate and circles it so the other people in the waiting room don't hear* ".... Is that okay?"I agreed to that price even though I knew it was overpriced but at that point I've been at this place for 4+ hours.Service was fine. The workers were kind too. I left feeling very swindled and I let everyone in the waiting room know the price I talked them down to before I left. I don't want to accuse but it felt very much like they were taking advantage of my gender and age.

Max L: I had a flat tire and came to this location to repair but they ended up having to replace it. While doing so they lost my car key. I had to Lyft home and back to get my spare for them to finish my car. The manager noted (and on my bill) that they would replace it but they are never around so no one has been able to help when I came back in and they have not returned calls. Keys are hundreds of dollars now so I wouldnt trust them.Service:Tires

But I payed closer to 300 bucks to have my car not fixed, they even told me we have good mechanics, and would find the issue. After 1-2 days of having my car (I hadn’t had my car for 2 days during a work week) Century Tires claim they fixed the issue . THE LIES.So I took my car down the street to Midas and they did an awesome job, they keep me Updated on the things where done to find an issue after I told the mechanic what I thought the issue was with my nice little car, keep my car and in the loop for a few hours and repair spark plugs and wires basically giving me a tune up. So why couldn’t Century Tired fixed this issue. Hmmmm. They took my hard money and ran with it and even not giving me a warranty 😒.I would refer to place to no one. L B: Alright ladies: listen up. We know finding a shop that won’t insult your intelligence/rip you off/be a nightmare, etc, is hard to find. Allow me to help you out: Go here. I got an estimate, which brought tears to my eyes, HOWEVER, I was smart enough to do something you should, too: price parts!! I saved a boatload. The very fine gentleman that is the owner was BEYOND patient with me. He was honest. Fair. Reasonable. Best of all, he was willing to work with me. I know my car got ALL the necessary parts/repairs, and that it was right, because it was done by PROS. Heaven forbid, things go awry, I am confident and I can go back and that it will get handled without any BS. I understand how much of a pain in the a** car repairs can be, but let this place help make it a pleasant experience. Again: fair, honest, respectful, respectable, and absolute professionals is what you will find here. I wouldn’t bother posting this review if I didn’t think it was worth sharing. Century Tire is DEFINITELY a place where quality work is completed by qualified professionals….the first time.

Alexandria Prothero: Came in on Thursday, June 1st, at 730am, to ask about getting some services done. The worker saw me, gave me a dirty look and said he couldn’t get me in until next week. Because my car can’t go very far and is in dire need of a look, i was trying to explain what was happening and getting ready to ask where else could I go before I was cut off with “well we have staffing issues.” I finished asking my question which was “well I’m trying to ask you where else can I go?” And was still met with a disrespectful tone and was told to go down the road. I am disappointed with the customer service and i don’t think i will be bringing my business here ever again. I don’t think i could trust my car with a service worker that is disrespectful, rude and lack understanding. You don’t treat customers this way and you certainly don’t take your frustrations out on them.

David T: I have visited this location in the past and had received decent service, but will never give this business my money again after my experience today. I had called to make an appointment last week for a very simple oil change and tire rotation/balancing. Scheduled an early appointment because I knew I would need to be in and out fairly quickly as I had other obligations later in the day. From the moment I walked in this morning it was a bad experience. The guy who was in there was looking at a computer screen and did not even acknowledge me when I walked in the door and even as I was standing at the desk. I said good morning to him and got the unfriendly "what can I do for you?" with a blank stare. I told him that I had an 8am appointment, and he looked it up and confirmed my phone number as if I was going to be dropping it off and leaving. I confirmed my number, but told him I would be waiting. He said that he had notes in the system that I would be dropping it off. I told him that was not correct, and that I never told anyone that I would be ok with dropping it off and waiting several hours for a callback. That is the whole reason I scheduled an appointment last week for this specific time. The unprofessional, uncaring guy then proceeds to claim that he scheduled the appointment and he told me that I would have to drop it off. I told him that is inaccurate, because if he had I would not have taken the appointment and would have scheduled for a different time and day. I asked him how long of a wait it would be for a simple oil change and tire rotation/balancing and he says 3 hours. I am certain he could have gotten me in quicker, but he just simply did not care and probably figured less work for him. Pathetic. Horrible customer service. Spend your money elsewhere with a shop that has employees that respect you and your time.Service:Oil change

They had one guy doing all the work while the 2 older white guys sat behind the counter twiddling their thumbs. I left and went to another place. Started writing this review once he took my tire. Oh gotta go my tire is done!

Michael Segura: New tires purchased and installed for a good price. After leaving the first time my tires were not balanced. Brought it back a second time. They had no problem "balancing" the tires again. Unfortunately they were still not balanced. I called back to update them on the situation and was eventually informed they've been using faulty equipment as one of their balancing machines doesn't work right but not sure which one. I was told I can still bring it in to get checked but I won't be using them again. Leaving this review to make sure other customers are aware of this reoccurring issue.
