Midtown Sushi & Ramen: what do users think?
Tayler Bertelsman: My favorite sushi in St. Louis! Always fresh and service is great.Even after traveling to Japan, this place holds up!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Megan Barron: The service was so poor we didn’t even get to the food. Showed up at 2:30 pm to a sign that said “Please Wait to be Seated.” We were yelled at from the counter and waved on to a table, even though there were multiple workers and few patrons at the time. We sat down and then a waitress came over at 2:32 to say they closed in 10 minutes and could do takeout, but the kitchen was already closed (not really sure how that would work??). We questioned their closing time since we were aware that they closed at 3:00 pm, but were still told that they close in 10 minutes. We’ve both worked in the restaurant industry and have never worked at a place that stopped offering food before they were actually closed (outside of a bar). Definitely won’t return for that service.
Kevin Hacker (Khacker): This was the first time I dined here. We celebrated a late Mother's Day dinner since our son was out of the country. The food was very delicious and not fishy as I first thought it would be. The server was great, very professional, and courteous. We had the salmon avocado roll, Naruto roll, spider roll, and the Yoshi roll. All fantastic and very filling. The only issue I had was remembering how to use chopsticks correctly. A little out of practice. We had a party of 6 that night and just to let you know they automatically add 18% for a party of six. It was fair and you might want to go above the recommendation. It is worth it.
Kevan Long: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Taylor Blimline: Service here was speedy, we enjoyed the crab Rangoons, and RamenFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
CB96: Food was amazing! Some of the best sushi we've had in a while in this area. Also, more vegetarian options than most Japanese restaurants offer. Staff was super nice. Prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: More vegetarian options than most Japanese restaurants in this area. Including a build-your-own ramen bowl with a vegetarian broth option.
Todd Applegate: Great recipes.. excellent ramen. Rolls were delicious,,, any roll fried for $2 add. Ramen was amazing. Looked like they had a lot of other great food.Recommended dishes Crab Rangoon, Spicy Midtown Ramen, Hakata Ramen …More
Ken Wienhoff: Exceptional Ramen and delicious sushi. Will be back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Spicy Salmon Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Tuna …More
Mike Elsner: Good place!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Billy Wills: Yes! Great sushi and great service even when they were slammed! The ramen was alright but probably wasn’t fair when the sushi stole the show!
Cody Wallace: Very cool little spot. Sooo many selections and even a build your own ramen option. Everything was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Will be coming back again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Miso Ramen …More
Justin Johnson: Service was great as they were very busy. Flavor of food was really good but could use more salt. Ramen broth should be salty (its meant to flavor noodles and not sipped like a soup by itself. (Katsukare) Curry was tasty but could also use a bit more salt. Last time I was here salt content was perfect, not sure if a mistake was made on this visit or there was a recipe change. Servers were rockstars.
Rich Cline: Excellent Katsu and Miso. Great service! The food is very fresh. The prices are reasonable compared with today's restaurant prices. Clean place. You can park right in front off of Forest Park Parkway. I didn't try the sushi or the ramen here yet. I highly recommend if you enjoy Japanese cuisine, this is one of the best.
Paxkimi: Yummy!! A nice spot to eat!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nicole M: very much enjoyed this ramen spot. staff was friendly and the food was tasty. just wish they had more vegetarian options. would come back.
Megan Scott: By far my favorite Ramen place
Eric Haake: I had sushi and my wife Ramen. Bothe were excellent at a solid price point for what you get. Would highly recommend.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Cody Cummings: Talk about a place with some good energy! Midtown Sushi & Ramen is a must try for anyone who loves authentic ramen dishes or good sushi, and while it’s not in the name, the Donburi bowls are some of the best in town.I recommend the Hakata Ramen if you’re a fan of smoked meats! The pork belly really adds great smoky and fatty notes to the noodles. If pork isn’t your thing then the Spicy Midtown Ramen gives you the same base as the Hakata, but swaps the pork with shrimp and smoky flavor with a spicy broth!Which one is better is a toss up and is just one more reason to come back for a second visit.

Quentin Hendricks: Super friendly staff. All the food is great but I especially recommend the hamachi kama. Just perfectly cooked. It was a little weird that they had NASCAR on the big screen there, which felt a bit out of character for the rest of the restaurant, but hey... That's just an observation.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Miso Ramen, Sushi, Fried Calamari …More

Sharonda Davenport: I had been wanting to try this place for a bit and it was meh at best. I ordered dumplings and a California roll. The Cali roll tasted odd. Almost as if it was old although they made it fresh. The dumplings were okay. The sauce was the saving grace. The house resiling had an odd taste. One of my friends found hair in their food, so that sort of ruined my appetite. The service was SUPER slow even though it wasn't busy. The wait staff barely let us speak before walking away from the table each time they approached with things like untensils or whatever. It was pretty rude honestly. I definitely won't be back.
Amanda Anderson-Gonzalez: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Cieria Simmons: To be honest, this place is not worthy of being downtown, I think this would be a better fit somebody in north country. The vibe of this place is VERY BORING. I did show up right at opening but it was still borning as hell. The best entertainment was the opening game for the cardinals that was being shown on the projector. Bow for the food, Sushi I had the new california roll which is a fried roll. It lacks flavor that I was expecting. Maybe it was a poor choice of the roll but I have been to other places like sushi ai that is far more tastier. The ramen I wanted off the menu was the Mizu ramen bowl which is their signature bowl but they didn't have it which was VERY DISAPPOINTING, how can you have something on the menu and don't have the item that matches the name of the restaurant. However I did order the chicken ramen and my husband had the shrimp ramen. Ramen was mid once again I had better at other places. The broth was spicy with slight favor but enough to complement the noodles. Almost like a scrambled egg instead of the normal egg you get with ramen. The beverage menu. My husband tried to order some type of bubble margarita which once again they didn't have. So the bill after everything ended up being 40 bucks with 18 percent gratuity included. I feel like 18 percent was a reach considering my waiter said she was bring me a refill on the water several times and I never got it until I was done with my meal. Overall this place is MID. Probably wouldn't pick this place by choice again. The place isn't bad, just you can pick a better spot to eat than this place. Make this your last choice but not your worst choice.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie optionsParking: Gotta pay for parking of course.
Sigi Ung: Waiting for 2h. no food, just miso soop. Finally THIS IS ORDER FOR 4 PEOPLE! arrived. At the end restaurant charged for the vine that was not delivered at all! Owner told she like sushi WITHOUT rice! What???Do not go there! DO NOT GO There!Food: 2/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Ronda Davenport: Came with a group for girl's night out and the service was extremely slow. Although I'm fairly certain there was only one server. The food was okay. I ordered gyoza, California roll and spring rolls. The spring rolls were the best part of the meal. Very crispy and well made. The sweet dipping sauce was a perfect pairing. The dumplings were good as well. The sushi was okay. The imitation crab was not great. Not to mention one person at my table had hair in her food. A couple of orders were wrong. If you're looking for a place with fast, dependable service, this is definitely not the place to go. And hopefully your dish doesn't have hair 🤷🏿‍♀️
Janice Z: We were forced to pay unauthorized 20% tip as gratuity and the tip was still listed on the receipt. On top of that, the waiting time was insane and the service was extremely bad. We waited for almost an hour and a half to get our food. We waited more than 30 min to get sprite. The roll was very salty. There was so little rice in my poke bowl that it took a while for me to find the rice in it. JUST AVOID. This is the first time I ever left a review for a restaurant.
Luka Brown: The wait staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was delightful, with plenty of space and a very attentive waitress. Great choice for a meal!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
lark: Staff was so kind and helpful, always checking in on us. Suggested very good drinks and sushi from the menu when we weren’t sure what to order. We took shot glasses home and the extra soju bottles. On top of all that, the food was super yummy. 110/10 we will be coming back :)Recommended dishes Sushi, Edamame, Bulgogi …More
Vanessa Sherman: This place is highly overpriced. Tried to order 2 items and they said they were out which makes me question how fresh their products are. Our waiter was impatient and asked for an additional tip after charging an automatic 18% for just 2 people. Should have went toFood: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Lauren Crockett: Best sushi, ramen, service and experience each and every time!We love our date nights to Mizu!
Matthew Weld: Arrived right at 5 as they opened. The server was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Recommend the Fusion Bowl with Bulgogi. Comes in a hot bowl that continues to cook the contents - including an egg - and spicy sauce on the side.Dietary restrictions: My wife is GF and was overwhelmed by the options. GF soy sauce available.
Charles Parker: I used to work there and the food is delicious... Heads up... The ramen soup is instant noodles that comes in a package like in the grocery store... You've gotta ask yourself if it's worth the price that they're asking
Fred Maurer: Should've waited out the line at Sushi Ai, live & learn...Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
jamarr jordan: The worst racist spot in st.louis!!! Me an my wife love to try new spots in st.louis unfortunately this resulted in the typical whites before black people situation. Absolutely terrible service anyone that was other than a darker shade was treated better than us.
Christina: My daughter and I went here tonight. Very nice people and really delicious food.
Rehman Khan: Avoid this place, fake reviews!

Jaron Black: I'm upgrading my review to a five star rating in retrospect. The main thing I would like to highlight is how the cashier was very helpful at answering my questions about whether I could order take-out and how the starter options fit my dietary needs. I didn't need to wait very long for my order to be ready (I only ordered one appetizer, so it only took five minutes) and the food was incredible. I am hoping to eat here again sometime in the future.
Jacob Brinker: I ordered the Chicken Katsu Ramen and the Spam Musubi. The spam was pretty good but the ramen was not. The broth was quite bland and the chicken was dry and kind of thick for katsu. It did not seem particularly fresh as the order was brought out to me within about 5 minutes. The inside of the restaurant was of dimly lit and smelled very fishy. Not a super pleasant place to dine in.Not worth the money as far as ramen goes. There are much better options in the same price range.
Eleanor Rigby: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Signature RamenMore
Russell Lee: What a surprise find! Amazing food. Had the karaage, black garlic tonkotsu and takoyaki. Everything came out hot and delicious. A place that I'll definitely revisit. Also surprised to find out the chef is Malaysian! Trying the curry laksa next time for sure.
E: Ordered the Calamari, Signature Ramen, and the Black Garlic Ramen. The ramen was light but flavorful. The pork on top of the ramen was extremely soft and the egg was really well done. Highly recommend the calamari, was fresh out the frier and was light and soft.

Well, this should be their slogan, “it costs more for a reason … it’s better!!” The broth, noodles, Chasu, egg - all absolutely amazing! Best ramen I’ve had since Japan and Vegas (shout out to Sora Ramen). Definitely coming back!!
Quintinus Gherardini: Authentic Ramen. What's not to love. Also it's on a bus line and close to a metrolink stationFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Seafood, Bowl of Ramen, Shrimp Fried Rice …More

Ani: Good ramen 4-4.5 stars grossly overpriced for the portions brings it down to 3 final 2 is overly generous given that their already meager portion sizes get dismal if they’re busy. Got three tiny bites of tofu in my tofu Ramen today, for nearly $20
Gustavo Kashiwagi: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Dan Slattery: The Nami Signature Tonkatsu ramen is highly recommended!! Super savory broth and the pork is the perfect balance of soft and crispy. Also, you have to try the bao buns. Pork or shrimp, you can't go wrong with either. I don't live anywhere near this restaurant, but I will DEFINITELY come back!

Matthew Goeke: One of the best bowls of Ramen I have had in STL, apps were great too! Scooter is an awesome guy, would come back anytime for service from such friendly folks!
Anna Haas: Honestly mid. The green haired bartender was kind of rude. I also watched him drop the ice scoop on the ground and stare at it for a while before putting it directly back in the ice. He also left our drinks on the bar for 20 minutes in favor of talking to his mom.Food was underwhelming over all.
K Frazier: I wanted to thank you for the great experience my family had at your restaurant last night. We arrived at 8:45 and ordered some appetizers and fried rolls, and they were delicious. Our waiter was super cool - he had dreads and was so friendly. He did a fantastic job of making sure we were taken care of, and my husband even tipped him twenty dollars! We were really glad that we decided to go back.-----------------------------------------------------We came into the restaurant and were excited about the sushi and drinks. We sat at the bar with one other woman, which was cool because it wasn't packed. It was just three people; me, my friend, and this woman. We waited ten minutes before going out of our way for the bartender to acknowledge us at the table to take our order. Strike one.I showed the bartender, who had long, faded, dirty blond blue hair, the drink I wanted from their IG page. I asked the bartender if there was extra juice from the fruit that I may have added to my drink. His response was overly sarcastic and rude, stating, "I don't know. However, much juice comes from a blueberry."Ok, so I let his slick comment slide. He could have said, what kind of juice would you like me to add because the blueberries comepre-frozen?Nevertheless, I let it go. Strike two.We receive our food. We ordered two appetizers and four rolls. We were enjoying ourselves. Five minutes passed, and we were not even 1/4 of the way finished before we received our check. Ok, strike three. We reluctantly ordered another drink before picking up cookies from a nearby establishment. The bartender begins yelling at the waiter passing by about being unable to restock his area because he has to leave. (showing off in front of his girlfriend) The waiter sounded flustered and responded that he would help him. That threw us off because, as a bartender, your responsibility is to get your area ready for the next day, and why are you yelling at a server when you still have customers at the bar? Strike four.At this point, I'm ready to go because the energy from this bartender is off-putting. To lighten the mood as we began packing, leaving, and paying. I stated that the drink was delicious. I needed a little more alcohol. Humor goes a long way. Right? The woman who is at the bar decides to comment, stating. "That's my boyfriend. I saw him make the drink, and how dare you beg for money?"Ok, now I have a rude dry bartender and his weird delusional girlfriend in cahoots with each other—a bad combination—strike 300.I wanted so badly to give this place four stars. But customer service goes a long way. Why would you put a dry, negative person in the front at the bar? They are the face of your establishment.Despite my negative review, I'm sure this is not his first time being rude to customers and staff or having his girlfriend talk irrationally to customers and running them off.Food is cool. The dude behind the bar and his girlfriend have to go. Bad for business.
David Peck: Udon broth was way too salty, basically soy sauce. Teriyaki-don was basically a crazy bowls and wraps bowl but worse tbh. Beer is crazy expensive and half of it was out of stock
V F: Pretty jazzy place! The tea they serve just stole my heart! Where can I buy it though? Please let me know… Fantastical eel!
Caitlyn Schott: It's always great. But the umami mushroom Ramen is gone. And the spicy miso has changed.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bayard Harken: If I could give this place a 10 outta 5, I would. Great people, amazing food, amazing sushi, and the chillest atmosphere out there. My favorite restaurant by far.
Mark Spencers: Bartender Nicholas had his thumb and fingers inside people's spoons, plates and ice cubes while serving; no handwashing between doing credit card and serving food. Additionally, spent more time talking than taking care of customers.Cup cleaning station had only 2 sinks: cups were barely dipped in 1 clean water sink and 1 disinfectant sink (where is the soap?). Drinking water was served from the same faucet used for cleaning cups (unsanitary).Ramen noodles were undercooked. Ramen was lacking more elements typically found in a ramen (no egg for a $15 ramen?).Sushi was not above any other sushi place, especially for the price. Underwhelming experience for $100 bill.No prices on the menu? (unless you are selling seafood, please add prices).Would not recommend for unsanitary practices and average quality for price. This is coming from someone who likes to patronize local restaurants. Very dissappointing.
Justin Reiling: I used to love getting their lunch special pre-Covid, but it’s no longer offered. I came in today to give it another shot, but there are no prices on the menu, so I left without ordering. I didn’t want to bother inquiring about every item I was potentially interested in. It also just feels sketchy. Do they change their prices based on how you look? The day of the week? Who knows. It was also very dark and not very inviting inside.
Drake Shafer: Came a few times in the past few years- menu is significantly smaller and now there are no prices. Tried to go for lunch but service was really slow. Don’t think I’ll be back.Katsuya and K-Bop down the street are MUCH better and advertise their prices.Nudo House is also a good choice for ramen
Erykc Szminschki: Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
Amal Mohamed: Not a great variety of options on the menu. The food was good, not great. I thought the setting was nice if you’re looking for a casual group outing.
Mattheo Fundelli: It ok,nothing speciall, not good or bad just ok
MarvelX42: Make great sushi rolls. I like the tempura. Love the decor! Very nice servers and the people who make the rolls obviously are very good at what they do.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Roll, Tempura …More
Erin Bacher: Great atmosphere. We liked that it was a bit more intimate rather than completely wide open. Scooter was a great waiter and provided fantastic service. We ordered a couple of rolls as well as hot sake. We found that, compared to some other places, the options for specialty rolls lacked a little as well as they were a bit bland. However, we'd would definitely visit again and try other items on the menu.
Melissa Cubing: The food was excellent. However service was a bit slower than I would have liked, and there were no prices on the menu. I had to look online, but they seemed not to be quite accurate.
Clayton Guerry: Excellent food, drinks, service, and events. Mr Himbo knows how to run a restaurant, and I can't wait for my next visit when I get back to STL.

mike ody: I would agree that walking into this establishment the 20% tip is pretty bad. You pay first and then get seated and this takes a longer time when it's cold and there are people waiting in line. The only thing that was good was the filter water in these large glass bottles. The broth was super salty making me drink so much water that I was full from it. Service well there is not much of any since you already paid and got charge and just get up and walk out the door. We have been eating a lot of noodles for almost 30+ years and this was one of the worst experience we have had in a long time. We were very disappointed.
Long Le: 21st hear Industry,
Cindy C: Delicious!! Noodles were chewy, broth is flavorful, nice variety of items in the bowl. Perfectly cooked egg. Tried both the shoyu and tonkatsu. Great service, received food pretty fast. The price was a little high at $14 for the bowl of ramen and was not super filling.Would visit this place again for a bowl of hot ramen.Edit: visited again in Sept. 2019Still amazing. Love it!! Price increase to $15.Update: Oct 2022Place has gone downhill, not the same. Ordered online and waited to pickup in line for 20 mins as I saw my order in front of me. Mandatory tip for waiting that long when they could have accomadated pickup order separate from restaurant line. Not even the same quality. Sad.

Candace Williams: This was one of the worst sushi establishments that I've ever tried. The cream cheese on the roll tastes as if it were sitting out all day, and the portion size of meat in the rolls were scarce. The only okay thing I had was the Gyoza, and they don't tell you that the sauce accompanied with it is super spicy, which is a first. I will never return here.

Ichiban Japanese Sushi Bar: what do users think?
Kiarra B: I’ve visited this restaurant a lot over the last several years because I live nearby. I like supporting small businesses, but I’ve started going less as the prices keep raising. Recently I don’t find it worth the amount I pay.
Dave Roskin: The best sushi in St Louis by far.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
김의담 (여행좋아하는사람): 한국인이 운영하시는것같습니다가격은 비싸지만 미국인거감안하면 괜찮은 느낌?전반적으로 맛있는데 양은 좀 적어요
alexandra cho: Wonderful and fresh sushi! I have been here many times but this week was the first time I tried the Chirashi bowl. My mother’s friend (who has discriminate tastes) was eating this last week and it’s her favorite. It looked so good that my mother and I wanted to try it- and we were so glad we did! We love this place.
Micheal Arriola: The best sushi and unagi Don I have ever had. The ichigo and white Dragan rolls were beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes White Dragon Roll, Ichigo Sushi with Almonds …More
Josie Sumner: The Yummy Roll is delicious!! Everything I tasted was fresh and had great flavors. Would definitely go back again.
Michelle Suh: I would say best sushi in St Louis. The sashimi’s always fresh and generous in portion. Ichiban also gets the tempura right (the right crispiness and thickness), which is rare around here. It’s one of our go-to places 👍🏾Recommended dishes Roll …More
prof. burton: Absolutely the best place I've eaten sushi in the St. Louis area. The sashimi was perfect cut, texture, and flavor - excellent 👌 And the service is phenomenal - kind, attentive, and hospitable. My favorite part though, was the ambience - authentic, smallish, warm, and cozy. I appreciate that the music was low and calm, so my party and I could enjoy our meal and time together. This place is truly a gem, and I will return. Thank you 🙏
Regan Copeland: We will definitely come again. All of the sushi was on par for similarly priced places in the area. Service was great. The atmosphere was so nice, especially the background music. I am so sick of loud dance club music at restaurants recently. Ichiban had calm music and it really made the meal enjoyable.
Allison Yu: Amazing sushi! High quality, fresh and in generous servings. The owners are kind and prompt. We've enjoyed everything ordered from here so far!Kid-friendliness: My friend brings his children here all the time. They're always willing to adapt their menu to their picking eating or charge for smaller portions to allow his children to try out new food.Parking: A large parking lot that is shared by many stores, never crowded and well lit
Mr. Emmanuel: Clean restaurant. Nice Korean owner. The food presentation was good. But not a real Japanese food. Their Tonkatu (豚カツ)was so thin. Nothing like what I am used to eat in Japan.
BalancingFamilyAndGoals: Biggest she see me ever
Shih-Ching Lin: Delicious sushi and unagi don! Highly recommended.
Eugenia Howe: Food was goodWasn't too impressed with the mochi ice cream
Prashanth Palaniswamy: Went here on a weekday night, the crowd was very less. The service and ambience were good. The food was delicious. Chicken Katsu, soup and the sushi (especially eel) were great. Shrimp starter was good too but we felt it was pricey for the quantity.
Jeremy Tapp: Amazing food. Good service. Highly recommend.
Mikael Unger: My wife and I went there Saturday night because friends recommended it. Well we never got to try it. Red flag right away seeing only one waitress literally running between tables. After waiting for little more than one hour without even getting the soup/salad we decided to cancel or order. At that time the there were still two tables ahead of us waiting for sushi rolls. Don't run a restaurant if you can staff properly.
Jenny Bao: This is my favorite sushi place in town. Great food, great service from a small mom n pop shop. Fresh sushi always. Hidden gem.
Udaykiran Vissa: When I first walked into Ichiban Sushi Bar, I was immediately greeted by a homely, humble atmosphere. Japanese fans lined the ceiling while a single waitress bustled around the small dining room of 15 tables. After deliberating over the lengthy maki menu (and I mean deliberating!) and deciding on the mango shrimp tempura, the crazy roll, the rainbow roll, and the salmon avocado roll, I learned that the young waitress taking my order was the sushi chef’s daughter, while the other older waitress was the chef’s wife. The traditional Japanese way of sushi preparation proved to be successful - the sushi I experienced was nothing short of the best sushi I had ever had. The thick slices of fish on the rainbow roll were mouthwateringly fresh, exposing hidden flavors as they melted in my mouth. The crab mixture was white and savory, rather than the dry stringy red “supermarket” style of crab found in other sushi restaurants like Wasabi. The rice was the perfect texture - not too hard but not gummy or soft. The mango shrimp tempura quickly became one of my favorite rolls, as the freshly fried shrimp blended perfectly with the sweet mango, which did not have the sour after-taste found in many frozen mango slices. The salmon avocado roll further proved the superiority of Ichiban’s fish. The thick slices of avocado seemed perfectly ripe as well, a rare occurrence at other sushi restaurants in Saint Louis (mainly Wasabi). I think the clear winner of the four rolls was the crazy roll. This roll was so stuffed that I had to take two bites to finish each piece. What’s even more crazy than the crazy roll itself? It had the ability to actually make me full from a sushi meal, which is something I never thought possible until Ichiban. So what did I learn from this experience? Your favorite sushi restaurant is making sushi wrong. This is how sushi is supposed to be: thick slices of fresh fish, fresh ingredients, and stuffed rolls.
Trevor Cabrera: The. Best.
Brian Burmeister: Delicious options for sushi and Japanese dishes. Nice people and good service.
