Jo Jo: You will spend a fortune on heating. Our neighbors have a new door on their back entrance; ours is the old glass one. If you stand in front of the door, you can feel the winter wind blowing in. We are trying to winterize it to keep the place warm. Also, the air conditioners are the old wall units. Well, those let in cold air, too. You can touch ours, the inside console and it is freezing cold with a faint cold breeze drifting. The heating units are terribly outdated baseboard heaters. We will have to get several space heaters.

Marisa Bowlin: Maintenance crew doesnt fix things correctly. More like covers it up and makes it look good. Lived there 24 months. Brought to the offices attentention numerous times that the paint was peeling and ceiling was molding back at the middle to end of summer. Someone finally came in January. Cabinets bla k .one walls ceiling and under the flooring covered in black mold. They painted over it which came back 3 weeks later and they said it would take 2 weeks to get a new vanity and flooring. 3 months later and a whole lot of mold later they let me out of my lease a month early without fee. But then they sent me a bill for 1430 to replace carpet Which my lease states the most they can charge me us 1200 to replace the entire apartment. And I know the bedroo.s didn't need new carpet maybe the living room because or a spot/ stain.

Marnita Brown: The maintenance is never done, if you put in a work order they’ll confirm they received it but never send anyone out to fix anything. The property manager is very messy and unprofessional. It’s not bad for the price just beware of what your getting yourself into. Maintenance Also enters the unit whenever they want & on numerous occasions I have caught them going through the mail boxes.

J P: I have resided at Westpark Apts and Townhomes for five years. I’ve seen management change, but what I will say is Shana and Selina are superb!! (man so/leasing offices staff)They are professional and ensure your needs regarding the upkeep of the townhouse are met.I would definitely recommend living here. Sometimes it can take a little while for maintenance to catch up on work orders, but for the most part I’d give this place two thumbs up!

Mohammed Asif Ansari: I had a wonderful experience when I stayed there until 2015.We returned to this place in 2018 and this place was an absolute disaster.If you want mold as a co-occupant and never want your maintenance requests completed, this is the place for you.Also, be ready for some threatening of sending you to collections when they delay sending move out statement by 3 months.Absolutely disgusting behavior I had to endure.

Pratik Choudhury: My experience is very bad with this apartment. I am staying in a townhome where 2 times basement was flooded. It is not problem with only this townhome, but issue with complete row. Management is very casual and don’t think they are at all serious about this. Maintenance is very bad. For every case you need at least 4/5 times to remind. Very frustrating. This is worst experience ever.

I've lived here for close to three years. Nothing has broken in my unit either. I recommend the taller newer units in the back of complex. Eric is great too.

Robert Fisher: I have been living here since 8-2008. Maintenance is onsite and fixes darn near everything. The apt. has fire sprinkelers and a nice pool with seperate kiddie pool. Tennis courts , basketball hoop, small playground, grills and picnic tables dotted about the complex. It is mostly quite and has a large % of renters working. No traffic, convient to highways and the ocassional noise from the neighbors. On site storage is real nice luxery!

I was also told that you have to make 3 times the rent (gross) and have a credit score of 500 with no judgements and that rent was $1200. I submitted the application and paid for the application. Called right after because I noticed that there wasn’t an area to include children. At this time I was told that only 2 bedrooms are coming within the next 3 weeks.I was provided inaccurate information resulting in a $60 application fee loss. I’m a single mother and I da*n sure don’t have $60 laying around to throw aAway!

Stephanie Walton: Ms. Jackson is best landlord I have ever dealed with and we would of be homeless if she hadn't work me the past 8 months on the rent because of job losses. I been here a year and this is the first place I was fighting to keep in over 20 years now. I love my place, it has no roaches, no bed bugs, and no rats. My place is in great shape and if want to live some that represents home then move to Mint Townhomes.

She is very understanding and will go above and beyond to make sure her tenants have what they need. The complex itself is a wonderful place, I don’t have any complaints. If you’re looking for a place to call home, this is it.

They only pick up trash in the front of the complex by the leasing office! Claim to have 5 star ratings and thats an lie! Claim to have an pool that havent been open in 2 years now. People break into your cars an steal them in broad daylight! They claim to have 24hr maintenance an thats a lie, they currently dont Have maintenance at all! The women in the leasing office is so unprofessional an rude! Every time u call its always an debate about something! They are currently under new management an they suck!

Trille Bill: HORRIBLE COMPLEX EVEN AND AN EVEN WORSE PROPERTY MANAGER by the name of WILONA JACKSON. Wilona is VERY cowardly, hostile, unprofessional, unaccommodating, unwilling to hear a tenants concerns without making it a PERSONAL disagreement. Wilona also will make threats of eviction if you raise questions about anything that does not appear logical. The complex CONTINUOUSLY floods, the only thing that has been done are random basic carpet cleans which isn’t really carpet cleaning just moving moldy water around in an already soiled carpet. The units should be condemned due to the constant environmental disasters that are never properly reconciled. I do not recommend ANYONE find interest in renting these units, especially while WILONA JACKSON of Lexington Property Management is managing the property. You will regret it as do I. If I could give it NEGATIVE stars I would !

First year neighbors are cool second year had horrible neighbors , would stalk me watch me come in out place , kids would beat on back door. They let their dogs loose on me my sons constantly, I had call police constantly on them , front office never did anything when I complained and had to evidence smh . They DNT do they job but want to u pay rent smh horrible I would not suggest anyone move there

Shaunta Galloway: I hardly ever leave reviews but I feel like since I’m moving and can give an honest opinion and all these other reviews are so false that it’s giving this place a negative outlook now is the time! All I know is the past 2 years have been the best experience in an apartment complex I’ve ever had! The townhome was the perfect size for me and my daughter. And whenever I had a maintenance issue it was resolved within 48 hours, if not sooner depending on the problem. The office staff is AMAZING!!! If I could put Ms Tiera in my car and take her with me I would! She cares about this community and the people in it. My only issue are the potholes but the city owns that so Oakmont shouldn’t take a hit for that. If I ever move back this will DEFINITELY be my first stop!!! Thank you Oakmont crew!!!! You all will be missed*Update*Ms Tiera is no longer with the complex. Not even a month after she left I got a notice that my rent was 3 months behind. If I don’t pay nothing else I definitely pay my rent!!!! I called the office and was told their records showed I was behind. I got a printout of my bank statements and highlighted my monthly ON TIME payments. I ended up moving but never got an apology or explanation of the problem. The new management is not friendly at all!!!! They lost the best office manager and maintenance worker they ever had. I still keep in contact with several residents and they are all miserable with the new people and say there’s constant gun fire. IF YOU HAVE KIDS PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

They should hire maintenance men that know how to fix things . I had to send my daughter to a family members house so she won’t have to be home freezing .also asked them to redo my bathtub and they did it wrong it started pealing as soon as I used it

I lived there approximately 6 months and made at least 20 maintenance calls I am certain 3/4ths of those calls were regarding my air conditioning unit. Then there the wasps in the basement. There was the leaking basement when it rained. Actually, first it was the dried egg on my door that was nerve addressed as requested........ not recommended.

Marilyn Brown: Management is very attentive to resident needs/concerns. Been here almost 5 years, with -0- problems. The staff really try and address concerns in a timely, professional manner. I like the fact that this team shows their appreciation for us as tenants, while making everyone feel like a community---like family.

Aigner Watson: I was hoping this day would not come but I figured it would. I wouldn’t recommend anyone move here unless it’s last minute. Please look elsewhere before settling at Oakmont or you will be as disappointed as I am. Now that’s I’ve been a resident for 3 months I can finally give an honest review. I’d like to start with my review about the pricing of this place. Deposit is equivalent to first months rent which they will tell you is between $700-$750 depending upon your credit. They don’t mention the additional $30 per month you’ll have to pay for water and trash. Totaling $730-$780 per month. Don’t move here thinking you’ll only end up spending a little extra for utilities because the gas bill is ridiculous considering that these Townhomes are not properly insulated. Air seeps through doors and ALL WINDOWS. When the weather is warm your apartment will be HOT!!! When the weather is cold your apartment will be FREEZING no matter what temperature your thermostat is set to. According to the leasing office this is not something they are willing to fix. If you are cheap and know how to save a little money your gas bill will be roughly between $100-$300 monthly. Electric of course isn’t that bad because it’s easier to monitor except in the summer time. Electric bill will average $200-$350 monthly. Remember the air does not circulate properly so you can have your thermostat set to 72 degrees for 4 days and all 4 days it will feel like 80 degrees. Even when I have your thermostat set on auto it will never shut off because it’s over working itself to obtain that temperature. If you are a cook like myself, you will be VERY disappointed and depressed about the kitchen size. You only have enough room to turn around. It’s only 1 counter, not even enough room to sit a dish rack, or microwave on so ultimately you’ll be using the dishwasher as a rack to dry your dishes. There is no kitchen pantry in these units so you will need to purchase a large industrial rack and/or extra portable cabinets for your dry foods. There are a total of 4 very small top cabinets and 1 cabinet under the kitchen sink. The blinds in the windows do not extend far enough for privacy. Anyone can stand outside your window and see through. The patio doors do not come with screens at all so letting a breeze in is not an option. The bedroom closets have really stupid racks there are slots for you to insert your hangers so you are very limited to a certain amount of hangers. I’ve had 3 basement floods. 1 was a leak from my the ceiling(caused by my half bath toilet right above, toilet was not properly mounted to the floor) the other 2 where caused by the basement drain being backed up with feces and toilet tissue. Cricket spiders are really bad in the basement. And today I was told to clean my own basement of feces, tissue and urine. Leasing office refused to call someone to clean this. They knocked on my door and brought me a push broom instead. My intentions are not this bash this company but to educated potential consumers of the most common stressors.**UPDATE**Since posting this review, the leasing office has sent me letters asking me to move out as a consequence of my review. Fabian Kilbert: I've been at Oakmont for one year. Excellent place to live. The manager and assistant manager are very caring, loving, and helpful. Very pleasant. Always help me with anything I ask for. Very informative about what is going on in the complex and community. And if anything changes as far as policy they let you know in advance. And they are involved with the community. That is a plus because it means they want you to feel comfortable and warm.

Kids always in front of your door playing instead of their apartment. Managers talk to you any kind of way when you just want stuff to work in your apartment. Stay away!!!!!!If you pay your rent on time and cause no problem trust me you go somewhere else.
