Candace Williams: This was one of the worst sushi establishments that I've ever tried. The cream cheese on the roll tastes as if it were sitting out all day, and the portion size of meat in the rolls were scarce. The only okay thing I had was the Gyoza, and they don't tell you that the sauce accompanied with it is super spicy, which is a first. I will never return here.
Missy Cates: They don’t have a happy hour but they do have a great lunch special

SUSHI KOI: what do users think?
Aja C: I recently order sushi from this restaurant for the 1st time. I tried this location because the reviews were all 4/5 stars and the reviews were spot on!!! The sushi was so delicious! The sushi I ordered was fresh and the flavors were robust, lastly the service was great. If your interested in dine-in, I suggest you make reservations because the space is small. Nevertheless, I will definitely return!

boi tran: This place is really nice. High quality fish for the price. Will definitely come back!
Brian Abbott: While passing through St. Louis, we wanted to eat some lighter food, so sushi sounded good. A few places showed up via a Google search and this place had great ratings and seemed to have a nice variety of food. We found parking nearby and walked over to the restaurant.Right when we entered there was a weird atmosphere. Immediately we were told to scan a QR code and use their website to order our food, which was really weird to me. It didn't even allow Google Pay or PayPal, requiring me to enter all of my credit card info. Plus you have to pay and give a tip BEFORE you even get your food, which is also weird for a sit down, especially when some of the plates are pretty expensive (~$18 for a sushi roll). The miso soup and appetizer (takoyaki) came pretty quickly and hot - tasted good as well... And the sushi came soon after and tasted pretty good. But everything came in and on to-go plastic containers and plates. And it seems like they don't even recycle them, as the single waiter/host just threw away our empty and used plates and containers in a nearby trashcan throughout the time we were there.Overall it seems like a good takeout spot, but the weird atmosphere and overuse of disposable cutlery and to-go containers makes me not want to recommend it as a sit-down place.
Sam Lang: Super wasteful. Dined in on a Tuesday night. Was told to order online with our phone. There were definitely people having technical problems with that system. I guess it keeps costs down if you don't have wait staff.Food was fine, the sushi wrapped in cucumber was not my favorite... But what really bothered me was the fact that literally everything came out in or on plastic disposable to-go containers that just got thrown right in the garbage when we finished. Not even an attempt to recycle anything.Honestly I couldn't recommend dining in here.
Eric Haake: Good clean ingredients that were quality. Server interaction is based on ordering with just scan menu. I dont love this but others may be attracted to it. Prices for what you get are reasonable.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Nine Breaker: I ordered 3 rolls (35$) of sushi for carryout. The lady made it in under 10mins! I was impressed and thanked her. Everything taste amazing and the service was great!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
J D: Very generously sized rolls. A little more limited in options than most but everything I tried was great. Pretty small and plain interior without much of an ambience though.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Tyler Wildermuth: This restaurant used to exist in the same location as Nobu's Japanese Restaurant, and any review from before 2022 is in reference to a different place and concept, although run by the same Chef Nobu. Nobu's, in its current state, is an incredibly intimate omakase dining experience with superb flavor combinations and rare Japanese ingredients served in a space made to feel like Chef Nobu's private home. It's airy and elegant, and there are roughly 8 omakase bar seats with around 10 more at tables for larger groups. Reservations are likely required, although the host expressed they would be looking into how to deliver a more casual experience in 2023. Well worth the fine-dining cost for a special occasion.Dietary restrictions: Respected a peanut allergy in our group.
Charlotte Ealick: We enjoyed an amazing dinner. The sushi was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and always gracious.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joanna Puterbaugh: A little late in writing a review but here we are. I have been eating at Nobu's since 2007 and my husband has been dining there even longer. We were so sad when the original location was closed and looked forward to his new venture. It seemed like the time would never come. Then an update, with a soft opening! We booked almost immediately. To say that Nobu's has changed would be an understatement. It's almost like Nobu's has grown as a restaurant as we have as people. The interior design is beautiful and simple. The service was top notch. The food was phenomenal. Nobu found out that my husband's favorite item from the original restaurant was the spicy tuna, so he made one just for him. Nobu's son (I can't remember his name right now) was a great host and we had a nice chat with him. Nobu's is more upscale now so the price is also more upscale but totally worth it for a enjoyable evening out.
Bobby Shah: Mind blown and unbelievable. Food was simple, delicate, curated and well thought out. It all came from a place of love, warmth and care for the experience. One of a kind in St Louis and can’t wait toGo back.
Dina Hyde: We thoroughly enjoyed the “omikase” tasting menu. We are so glad Nobu’s is back in a smaller, more focused and intimate setting. Everything is done with great intention from the restaurant design to the dishes and service and of course the food. It was outstanding on every level. As serious “foodies” we can say with confidence this was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We look forward to coming back!
Dan Hahn: Absolutely magnificent food. You never run out of new things to try and everything tastes great.
Courtney DesMarais: Welcome to Nobu's- may your mind and palate be transformed into a world of absolute harmony.I am in absolute awe of this place. I LOVE that Nobu works in synchronicity with his family (wife and son) to bring traditional Japanese cuisine to STL.The minimalist and clean of the space design allows for all of the focus to be on the service, the dishes, the utensils/ dishware, and of course the ingredients themselves.I have had two different tasting course experiences here. Both of which are transformative. The overall understanding and balance of the senses and tasting notes is remarkable. Some dishes warm, some cool, some are digestive, some are crisp and all are nourishing. Nobu's understanding of texture, umami, sweet, sour, salty, pungent, and bitter is heavily highlighted throughout the tasting menu.Local ingredients are utilized when possible and even items like Sake are distinctly picked from Nobu's hometown. The thought and intention is evident from beginning to end.The price point may be high for some but even though the dishes are served as chef tasting potions, I have never once left hungry. This is because of the aforementioned balancing act that allows for a completely satisfied palate and stomach. If you go in for an à la carte meal then be sure to try anything in the miso mustard sauce and the chawanmushi.Thank you for having us Nobu staff and family!Vegetarian options: Make a request prior to reservations.Parking: On street or side parking lot options available in The Loop.
Alika McGuire: Went to their new location off of Delmar. How lucky are we to have such a place serving authentic Japanese sushi, Omakase style from real experts. Not to mention how great it was to speak to the chefs as he taught us about the food they made.Highly recommend. Just be sure to make your reservations before going!
tburr: This was one of the most amazing, intimate, and well orchestrated dining experiences I have ever had. Chef Nobu and his family welcome you as if you are old friends dining in their home. Every little detail is executed with great care and precision to provide the best sushi experience you can get any where close to St. Louis. We are grateful for this opportunity to enjoy a true master in his own element and cannot wait to return. You can tell that providing this experience is what makes Chef Nobu happy! Thank you!!
Jenny Lee: Cozy and modern restaurant. We had their set menu dinner and sat at a table. We were the only table at the time but dinner picked up at the bar. The entire staff consisted of 4 people - the family; they were Japanese polite. All sushi was very fresh and I usually don’t eat raw fish. Cooked entrees were balanced in flavor. House made matcha dessert and red bean is a must!
Minh Nguyen: One of the best experience we have ever had! The wine and sake pairing was perfect with our course. Nothing but highest compliments!
jueun moon: It was best dinner I ever had! It was my 31st bday and can’t ask for anything better than this restaurant. Please please go try. Everyone was really nice and professional.
Joshua Lillis: High quality omakaze dining experience where you let the chef decide what dishes are best served. The Kidera family has always been awesome and their new restaurant raises the bar so high. Each dish is an incredible experience, made even better as they take the time to explain its origins, ingredients, and how each is prepared. This is, hands down, the finest meal I have ever experienced. We will definitely do this again.
jeff cc: My Lord, I have never left a Google review before but I cannot neglect to express how absolutely earth-shattering this experience was. Not only is it so warm and intimate that it literally feels like a family dinner, but the food itself I can only possibly compare to the place my rich aunt took me to in Los Angeles. And it exceeds that by miles. The creativity, the attention to detail, the atmosphere; everything has been done flawlessly. In a strange way, it also is a celebration of the city itself; what they’ve managed to accomplish here could not be effectively or sustainably replicated in Chicago, New York, or any larger city. It wouldn’t be nearly as calming and personalized. I’m not even particularly attached to living in St. Louis, but truly, if I ever left, this is one place I would dearly miss.
Fred Moore: Amazing - Food, Service, Atmosphere. All perfect!!
Eugene Leong: Got there and was told they only take reservations today. Plenty of empty tables and there is no notice anywhere that says reservations was needed.
Austin: Started off 2023 with a Japanese flair.Truly remarkable dishes and a wonderful family that serves you. You feel at home. Highly recommend to anyone wanting high class sushi paired with high class service.Dietary restrictions: Will accommodate shellfish allergies.

Robata Maplewood Dine-in/take out: what do users think?
Glynis McManamon: Great ramen. And I was lucky today: they had inarizushi. This delicious morsel is a marinated fried tofu pocket filled with sushi rice. I believe it qualifies as vegan. Now open for lunch Wed-Sat. They close midday and reopen for evening. Give it a try, a great array of Japanese food.
Mason White: Genuinely the best ramen I’ve had in STL area. When I walked in the gentleman was very kind and very attentive and welcomed all questions. The food was very fresh and made in the open kitchen and came to our table very quickly. Multiple times for good deals throughout the week. I would highly recommended this place to anyone! Absolutely lovely place!!!
Carlos Morales (Carlostheranger): Been here a few times and they have great sushi. I also love the Teriyaki Chicken and can't wait to go back! Greg C: I hate doing this but unfortunately from my past experience I have to make a negative review. I ordered the “hot/ spicy” ramen and upon picking it up, it was cold. When I say cold, I do not mean ice cold but lower than room temp. They told me my ramen would be ready in 50 minutes but ended up taking 70 minutes, which would be totally fine if my food came out hot like the entree states. When I called to inform the restaurant that my ramen was cold, they acted like it is normal for ramen to not be hot/ under room temp. That is not only weird but also a form of gaslighting. They gave me a new ramen within 10 minutes but it is funny that the new ramen came out scalding hot, which is what I wanted in the first place. All and all the place is understaffed and clearly has a problem with criticism. Inconsistency and borderline poor customer service. I will never return

Grace Bushnell: We have eaten at Robata multiple times. Most of our experiences have been delicious (4/5), but tonight was not one of those nights. I’m not sure if this was an off-night or if something has changed since we last visited, but our food was just bad.Gyudon is my go-to at any Japanese restaurant, including past visits at Robata. What I ate tonight was not Gyudon. The flavor was awful (no sweetness at all), the texture of the meat was mushy, the smell was off. I only ate a few bites before I had to stop because something was clearly wrong. I’m hoping this batch of marinade was just mixed incorrectly and the meat was just broken down too much, but my stomach has not been happy since we left. Along with the off-putting flavor and meat, there also weren’t any slices of onion like there’s meant to be in a solid bowl of Gyudon. My husband had the Tonkotsu ramen and said the broth was super bland, which was also surprising since we’ve had great ramen here before. He tried to eat my gyudon after because we hate wasting food, but he couldn’t do more than a couple bites either. All that said, the pork gyoza were fantastic, so at least there’s that!

chintot: Fair for a place like St. Louis. The dinner option 2 of $24 for 3 maki rolls, 4 sushi and a starter - is not a bad deal. I tried the St. Louis roll deep-fried option and it cooked the sushi inside. I didn't expect that. I was expecting it to be like friend tempura ice cream where the ice cream inside is still ice cream and not melted. So I'm disappointed about that. But the server was attentive so that's a plus.

While I’m certain it’s not the best ever, I was pleasantly surprised when the taste and presentation were pretty great. I always love when restaurants add sauces/utensils/napkins to the bag unasked, just like these folks did. Thank you for making one of my first experiences so enjoyable Sushi Ai!

Cyndie Roche: It was a little dirty. The waitress was amazing, but the host and seating process was a bit of a mess. We waited 30 minutes only to be told they never put us on the list and then needed us to scan a code to do it ourselves. We were seated right away when we scanned because they had about 30 tables open.

Marisa Merritt: The food is always wonderful- I usually go to Westport but tried this one. The staff is friendly to the customers but leave much to be desired to their own coworkers. Me and several customers stood and watched how the staff treated the host who is on the spectrum (mentally disabled) they were mean to him, ignored him when he asked them questions, made annoyed faces at him and more! They made me feel so angry and 2 different diners left because they didn't want to be seated in the areas of the rude staff. I did reach out to the manager and I pray he fixes this.

deepak agarwal: We went for dinner on a Sunday night and we’re finally able to be seated at a table after more than an hour of waiting. We were excited about the food since we were starving and the wait time and high prices had our hopes up for a good meal. We were in for an unpleasant surprise. First they didn’t have enough clean silverware so the server finally brought us a fork each by cleaning it himself( kudos to him for that!). The rolls were below average and you could tell they were just rushing to make them to meet demand. We had one of their most popular entrees as well which also was a 5/10 at best. My wife and I get Japanese in every city we visit. This was a great disappointment.Only plus is that they open late and that’s probably how they get business.

Our server barely came out to the table we couldn’t even get his attention to order more drinks. When our food finally came out our orders were wrong and the staff gave us attitude. It’s extremely overpriced for the service we received I really don’t recommend it at all. The restaurant was barely packed.

Cody Cummings: I dropped by Drunken Fish to grab some lunch with my wife while walking around the neighborhood, and it was pretty good. The presentation of the dishes was what you would expect from a sushi restaurant in the Central West End, and the prices follow suit. Not overly expensive, but some of the more basic rolls are a little pricey for what you get. That being said, I wouldn’t go to Drunken Fish for cheap sushi, I would go for nicer more unique rolls and dishes. The service was really nice, and the ambiance was casual but classy. I’ll be happy to come back by for dinner some time.
Sherry Sun: I came here with my fiance on a Sunday evening about 2 hours before closing. We didn't have a reservation so the hostess quoted us about a 40 min wait. Upon requesting to sit at the bar, she confirmed with the bar, and promptly lead us upstairs to the bar. After wiping down the bar table, she sat us down. We were greeted warmly by the bartender. We ordered the sushi combo and contemplated on sake. The bartender gave us samples of sake, which were all delicious. The sushi was fresh and delicious and service was spectacular.I would definitely come back here again. It's a bit pricey, but I think well worth it.

sri Revanth chowdary: He is very rude on other never ever recommend to other whether the food was good or not . Because he need to respect coustomers but he is treating like we are nothing

Lei “Daniel” Wang: I order one nigiri special, and it tastes off and stinky, like the rotten fish. It makes me vomit. I never think that sushi is capable of killing me, now it seems that your sushi has the great potentials. Overall, just don’t order anything from them if you don’t want to get the similar experience. By the way, the DoorDash sucks, can’t do the refund, don’t use the DoorDash neither.
Maire Schultz: Delicious sushi! But why do almost all of the special rolls contain cream cheese? Can we have some without cream cheese please?Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Sushi …More

Erin Berberich: 10/10 everytime! always hits!
Brianna Walden: 11/10, this is the best sushi place I've ever had. It is takeout only, but the staff are friendly and quick to give us our order and answer any questions we had.
Sherry Sun: This is a take out only place. We didn't know that. We came in on a Sunday. Waited for almost 5 mins, no one greeted us, made eye contact or said anything to us. They just acted like they didn't see us. Rude. Refuse to eat here.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Jenn Abbott: We LOVE 1 STOP!!! It's my go to sushi and Chinese place. Always so fresh and so friendly!!
Kim Pickering: Everything we’ve tried here is delicious! Probably the biggest sushi rolls ever but so good! Portions for the entrees are big as well. Don’t pass this place up as its outside appearance can be deceiving in a small strip mall.Ordered during a storm tonight and they lost power in the middle of making my order, the owner called me as I was pulling in and said he could only complete one of the 3 dishes. He gave me the one and said he would fully refund me for the inconvenience. Great customer service, we’ll have to order again soon as I was really craving some sushi.
Nidie Ewbank: Found them online and ordered for the first time. Was not disappointed. Sushi was delicious and prices are reasonable. The guy at the counter was friendly and smiling. Online ordering system was convenient too. Will now be my go to place to get sushi to go.
Christopher Justice: Worth every penny. Order now can't decide or figure out what you are ordering just try random stuff. Grab an appetizer or two and any roll or tempura is always a good idea.
Lindsay McDonald: Food was not fresh and fish had a very odd flavor. Would not order again.
Adrienne McCarthy: Sushi 🍣 is great!! I ordered a Veg-G, Philly and Touchdown roll. Good quality at a great price. I would absolutely order any of these again. I love that the veggie roll is loaded with more than just cucumber and carrots. It has cucumber, avocado, asparagus, pickled radish, kampyo & sprouts! The touchdown roll was fantastic!!!! A crunchy, tasty kick with spicy yellowtail, cream cheese, jalapeno, cilantro, masago, scallions, spicy mayo, wasabi mayo & eel sauce at a bargain price of 10.99.It's a carryout place, a "hole in the wall," so to say. The atmosphere is as good as you would expect for walking in to grab your togo order. Food is well packaged. Polite worker, too!
Jen & Juice: I don't like writing negative reviews, but I am in awe of the very weird experience I have had with this establishment. I discovered them about a month ago, and have returned about 10 times since because the sushi is good and affordable. The quality of it exceeded my expectations given the neighborhood, however...There is something very off about the male employee, who identified himself as the owner. Not sure if English not being his first language is causing miscommunication or there are cultural clashes at play, but he comes across as though your patronage is burdensome to him.You can't order in-person or over the phone (weird, but whatever), so orders are placed through their website or a third-party courier service. Since I have a perfectly functioning vehical, I don't see the point in paying someone else to deliver it to me.Once the order is paid for with a credit/debit card, the site gives you an estimated pick-up time...and oh my God, you better be there exactly when it says or face the wrath of His Sushi Highness. My last visit, I was given an estimated time of 55 minutes to I believe an hour an 15 minutes. I made the mistake of arriving at an hour and 30 minutes. 😱 The gentleman had a look of annoyance on his face as per usual, but he really became upset when I simply inquired if there was a utensil in the bag.Upon his reaction, I finally worked up the nerve to ask why he is always so upset. He said that my habit of arriving later than the estimated pickup time (typically 20 minutes or so) is "rude"...?? As someone who has worked in the food service industry for 15 years (including two Japanese restaurants), it is not unusual nor have I ever seen it perceived as rude for someone to give themselves leeway on time when picking up a to-go order...ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S ALREADY PAID FOR. Not to mention, I always leave a tip despite being met with attitude. His reasoning is that it gets cold, which makes no sense as it is takeout and the temperature is of my concern. The defensiveness is extremely off-putting. Even so much as asking to tie the bag tighter (or doing it myself) so the soup that's stacked on another container doesn't fall over apparently offended him, as he referenced that request several times afterwards. WEIRD.I attempted to reason with him because I was genuinely confused and wanted to deescalate the situation, but as I did so his tone grew more hostile. He told me he doesn't want me ordering there anymore and to use the courier services.Wow. Just wow...and all because I requested for a bag to be tied bit tighter and not reporting for duty exactly as instructed. So weird!!There's another sushi joint off Grand and they seem to be much more grateful for your business. A tad more expensive but at least they're appreciative you choose to spend your money with them.I will say that the female who works here, who I presume to be an owner as well, has been nothing but kind. I like supporting local businesses (even promoted this place to a couple friends) and I do not want to be unnecessarily fussy...but good lord. In any case, I wish 1 Stop Sushi all the best.YOU ARE SO WELCOME
chickweed75: Our first time ordering tonight. We got quite a lot of sushi and the crab Rangoon. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Rangoon's aren't sweet like a lot of places locally, which I love. It also comes with sweet & sour, which was also great. We got 5 different rolls and every single one was fantastic. I'm pretty sure they even threw in a few pieces that we didn't order. I've driven by this place many times, I'm glad I finally thought to give them a try. This location has been a revolving door of businesses in the last few years. I hope they stay, because it really is great food. And as another review stated, I ordered online and was given a pick-up time, but they called to let us know it was ready earlier. Go get some!!
ThEsHeEn117: BEST ASIAN FOOD IN TOWN. Don't let the unassuming strip mall exterior fool you, this place has hands down the best sushi and Asian style noodles in town. Everything is extremely fresh and high quality. Prices are fair for the portion size. Can never go wrong with a take out night from one stop.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Desrae Johnson: Great food and prices. Absolutely recommend this place.

Quentin Hendricks: Super friendly staff. All the food is great but I especially recommend the hamachi kama. Just perfectly cooked. It was a little weird that they had NASCAR on the big screen there, which felt a bit out of character for the rest of the restaurant, but hey... That's just an observation.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Calamari, Miso Ramen, Sushi …More

Sharonda Davenport: I had been wanting to try this place for a bit and it was meh at best. I ordered dumplings and a California roll. The Cali roll tasted odd. Almost as if it was old although they made it fresh. The dumplings were okay. The sauce was the saving grace. The house resiling had an odd taste. One of my friends found hair in their food, so that sort of ruined my appetite. The service was SUPER slow even though it wasn't busy. The wait staff barely let us speak before walking away from the table each time they approached with things like untensils or whatever. It was pretty rude honestly. I definitely won't be back.
Cieria Simmons: To be honest, this place is not worthy of being downtown, I think this would be a better fit somebody in north country. The vibe of this place is VERY BORING. I did show up right at opening but it was still borning as hell. The best entertainment was the opening game for the cardinals that was being shown on the projector. Bow for the food, Sushi I had the new california roll which is a fried roll. It lacks flavor that I was expecting. Maybe it was a poor choice of the roll but I have been to other places like sushi ai that is far more tastier. The ramen I wanted off the menu was the Mizu ramen bowl which is their signature bowl but they didn't have it which was VERY DISAPPOINTING, how can you have something on the menu and don't have the item that matches the name of the restaurant. However I did order the chicken ramen and my husband had the shrimp ramen. Ramen was mid once again I had better at other places. The broth was spicy with slight favor but enough to complement the noodles. Almost like a scrambled egg instead of the normal egg you get with ramen. The beverage menu. My husband tried to order some type of bubble margarita which once again they didn't have. So the bill after everything ended up being 40 bucks with 18 percent gratuity included. I feel like 18 percent was a reach considering my waiter said she was bring me a refill on the water several times and I never got it until I was done with my meal. Overall this place is MID. Probably wouldn't pick this place by choice again. The place isn't bad, just you can pick a better spot to eat than this place. Make this your last choice but not your worst choice.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie optionsParking: Gotta pay for parking of course.
Sigi Ung: Waiting for 2h. no food, just miso soop. Finally THIS IS ORDER FOR 4 PEOPLE! arrived. At the end restaurant charged for the vine that was not delivered at all! Owner told she like sushi WITHOUT rice! What???Do not go there! DO NOT GO There!Food: 2/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Ronda Davenport: Came with a group for girl's night out and the service was extremely slow. Although I'm fairly certain there was only one server. The food was okay. I ordered gyoza, California roll and spring rolls. The spring rolls were the best part of the meal. Very crispy and well made. The sweet dipping sauce was a perfect pairing. The dumplings were good as well. The sushi was okay. The imitation crab was not great. Not to mention one person at my table had hair in her food. A couple of orders were wrong. If you're looking for a place with fast, dependable service, this is definitely not the place to go. And hopefully your dish doesn't have hair 🤷🏿‍♀️
Janice Z: We were forced to pay unauthorized 20% tip as gratuity and the tip was still listed on the receipt. On top of that, the waiting time was insane and the service was extremely bad. We waited for almost an hour and a half to get our food. We waited more than 30 min to get sprite. The roll was very salty. There was so little rice in my poke bowl that it took a while for me to find the rice in it. JUST AVOID. This is the first time I ever left a review for a restaurant.
Luka Brown: The wait staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was delightful, with plenty of space and a very attentive waitress. Great choice for a meal!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
lark: Staff was so kind and helpful, always checking in on us. Suggested very good drinks and sushi from the menu when we weren’t sure what to order. We took shot glasses home and the extra soju bottles. On top of all that, the food was super yummy. 110/10 we will be coming back :)Recommended dishes Bulgogi, Sushi, Edamame …More
Vanessa Sherman: This place is highly overpriced. Tried to order 2 items and they said they were out which makes me question how fresh their products are. Our waiter was impatient and asked for an additional tip after charging an automatic 18% for just 2 people. Should have went toFood: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Lauren Crockett: Best sushi, ramen, service and experience each and every time!We love our date nights to Mizu!
Matthew Weld: Arrived right at 5 as they opened. The server was very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. Recommend the Fusion Bowl with Bulgogi. Comes in a hot bowl that continues to cook the contents - including an egg - and spicy sauce on the side.Dietary restrictions: My wife is GF and was overwhelmed by the options. GF soy sauce available.
Charles Parker: I used to work there and the food is delicious... Heads up... The ramen soup is instant noodles that comes in a package like in the grocery store... You've gotta ask yourself if it's worth the price that they're asking
Fred Maurer: Should've waited out the line at Sushi Ai, live & learn...Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
jamarr jordan: The worst racist spot in st.louis!!! Me an my wife love to try new spots in st.louis unfortunately this resulted in the typical whites before black people situation. Absolutely terrible service anyone that was other than a darker shade was treated better than us.
Christina: My daughter and I went here tonight. Very nice people and really delicious food.

TravelUSA: Menu doesn't have any pricing on selections, you'll have to ask b4 ordering. We had Lobster rolls and reasonably priced.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Matthew Goeke: One of the best bowls of Ramen I have had in STL, apps were great too! Scooter is an awesome guy, would come back anytime for service from such friendly folks!
Anna Haas: Honestly mid. The green haired bartender was kind of rude. I also watched him drop the ice scoop on the ground and stare at it for a while before putting it directly back in the ice. He also left our drinks on the bar for 20 minutes in favor of talking to his mom.Food was underwhelming over all.
K Frazier: I wanted to thank you for the great experience my family had at your restaurant last night. We arrived at 8:45 and ordered some appetizers and fried rolls, and they were delicious. Our waiter was super cool - he had dreads and was so friendly. He did a fantastic job of making sure we were taken care of, and my husband even tipped him twenty dollars! We were really glad that we decided to go back.-----------------------------------------------------We came into the restaurant and were excited about the sushi and drinks. We sat at the bar with one other woman, which was cool because it wasn't packed. It was just three people; me, my friend, and this woman. We waited ten minutes before going out of our way for the bartender to acknowledge us at the table to take our order. Strike one.I showed the bartender, who had long, faded, dirty blond blue hair, the drink I wanted from their IG page. I asked the bartender if there was extra juice from the fruit that I may have added to my drink. His response was overly sarcastic and rude, stating, "I don't know. However, much juice comes from a blueberry."Ok, so I let his slick comment slide. He could have said, what kind of juice would you like me to add because the blueberries comepre-frozen?Nevertheless, I let it go. Strike two.We receive our food. We ordered two appetizers and four rolls. We were enjoying ourselves. Five minutes passed, and we were not even 1/4 of the way finished before we received our check. Ok, strike three. We reluctantly ordered another drink before picking up cookies from a nearby establishment. The bartender begins yelling at the waiter passing by about being unable to restock his area because he has to leave. (showing off in front of his girlfriend) The waiter sounded flustered and responded that he would help him. That threw us off because, as a bartender, your responsibility is to get your area ready for the next day, and why are you yelling at a server when you still have customers at the bar? Strike four.At this point, I'm ready to go because the energy from this bartender is off-putting. To lighten the mood as we began packing, leaving, and paying. I stated that the drink was delicious. I needed a little more alcohol. Humor goes a long way. Right? The woman who is at the bar decides to comment, stating. "That's my boyfriend. I saw him make the drink, and how dare you beg for money?"Ok, now I have a rude dry bartender and his weird delusional girlfriend in cahoots with each other—a bad combination—strike 300.I wanted so badly to give this place four stars. But customer service goes a long way. Why would you put a dry, negative person in the front at the bar? They are the face of your establishment.Despite my negative review, I'm sure this is not his first time being rude to customers and staff or having his girlfriend talk irrationally to customers and running them off.Food is cool. The dude behind the bar and his girlfriend have to go. Bad for business.
David Peck: Udon broth was way too salty, basically soy sauce. Teriyaki-don was basically a crazy bowls and wraps bowl but worse tbh. Beer is crazy expensive and half of it was out of stock
V F: Pretty jazzy place! The tea they serve just stole my heart! Where can I buy it though? Please let me know… Fantastical eel!
Caitlyn Schott: It's always great. But the umami mushroom Ramen is gone. And the spicy miso has changed.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bayard Harken: If I could give this place a 10 outta 5, I would. Great people, amazing food, amazing sushi, and the chillest atmosphere out there. My favorite restaurant by far.
Mark Spencers: Bartender Nicholas had his thumb and fingers inside people's spoons, plates and ice cubes while serving; no handwashing between doing credit card and serving food. Additionally, spent more time talking than taking care of customers.Cup cleaning station had only 2 sinks: cups were barely dipped in 1 clean water sink and 1 disinfectant sink (where is the soap?). Drinking water was served from the same faucet used for cleaning cups (unsanitary).Ramen noodles were undercooked. Ramen was lacking more elements typically found in a ramen (no egg for a $15 ramen?).Sushi was not above any other sushi place, especially for the price. Underwhelming experience for $100 bill.No prices on the menu? (unless you are selling seafood, please add prices).Would not recommend for unsanitary practices and average quality for price. This is coming from someone who likes to patronize local restaurants. Very dissappointing.
Justin Reiling: I used to love getting their lunch special pre-Covid, but it’s no longer offered. I came in today to give it another shot, but there are no prices on the menu, so I left without ordering. I didn’t want to bother inquiring about every item I was potentially interested in. It also just feels sketchy. Do they change their prices based on how you look? The day of the week? Who knows. It was also very dark and not very inviting inside.
Drake Shafer: Came a few times in the past few years- menu is significantly smaller and now there are no prices. Tried to go for lunch but service was really slow. Don’t think I’ll be back.Katsuya and K-Bop down the street are MUCH better and advertise their prices.Nudo House is also a good choice for ramen
Erykc Szminschki: Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
Amal Mohamed: Not a great variety of options on the menu. The food was good, not great. I thought the setting was nice if you’re looking for a casual group outing.
Mattheo Fundelli: It ok,nothing speciall, not good or bad just ok
MarvelX42: Make great sushi rolls. I like the tempura. Love the decor! Very nice servers and the people who make the rolls obviously are very good at what they do.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Tempura, Roll …More
Erin Bacher: Great atmosphere. We liked that it was a bit more intimate rather than completely wide open. Scooter was a great waiter and provided fantastic service. We ordered a couple of rolls as well as hot sake. We found that, compared to some other places, the options for specialty rolls lacked a little as well as they were a bit bland. However, we'd would definitely visit again and try other items on the menu.
Melissa Cubing: The food was excellent. However service was a bit slower than I would have liked, and there were no prices on the menu. I had to look online, but they seemed not to be quite accurate.
Clayton Guerry: Excellent food, drinks, service, and events. Mr Himbo knows how to run a restaurant, and I can't wait for my next visit when I get back to STL.
Ellen Stimige: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Sushi RollsMore
