todd curry: I had my BRZ dyno tuned at ECOTECH. I asked Misha for advice on the build - He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I frequently leaned on Misha for direction and he delivered every time. Adam and Graham did the actual dyno tune - we started at 203 hp and ended with 301hp. We were stuck at 299 and Adam worked his magic and got me to 301- what a great experience!! I HIGHLY RECCOMED ECOTECH

Sarah Markham: After four years of my 2012 STI being at a bad shop in KC I finally got it back with a slew of issues, the most pressing being that it wasn’t drivable due to electrical problems. Adam at EcoTech went out of his way to try and help me diagnose what could be wrong with the car via text, but ultimately I opted to bring it in to EcoTech. I had to wait a couple weeks before they had time for it, but it was more than worth the wait. These guys are busy for a reason, they do excellent work and know their stuff. They addressed a variety of issues with the car, fixed the electrical problems and got it tuned and ready for me to finally drive again in a matter of days. The STI hatch was my dream car when I first bought it years ago, and now I’m finally able to drive and enjoy it. I’m absolutely delighted, and for once not beyond stressed over this car. Julie music: Took my car in for motor mounts and had a coolant leak. Hose was leaking one of their mechanics told me hose and radiator and I asked them are they sure it’s the radiator they said they are not but might as well change it because to do the motor mounts they’ll crack the radiator because they don’t know how to install motor mounts without damaging a whole other part. I told them to not touch my car and I’ll pick it up and take it somewhere else they decided to add coolant in my car & intentionally did not put the cap back on and my car started overheating. This place is a joke

Courtney Hoke: Thank God I drove 3.5 hours to come look at a 2007 VW Touareg V10 TDI. Car was nothing as described. This is a dealer that advertises as a private party "way more taxes". Car looked like it was 1987 because of how rough and beat up the car looked. From the carpet glued to the dash to cover up the missing speakers,slashes on the dash to the ripped upholstery. Tires were bald and parts were spray painted black,and the rims were all chewed up. GREG wanted us to come inside and do paperwork before we even checked it out or test drove it,after looking at the car outside and inside we walked away before the test drive. It was that bad!!! This was a 90k car new and beat to hell. BUY BEWARE of misrepresentation!!!

Corbin Deutsch: Purchased a 1996 Bronco from Mike through Ebay while I was deployed overseas. Auction stated Bronco was clean and nice, and the pictures supported that. However, after sending payment, communication was limited and took 3 months to ship my truck after sending him payment. Truck arrived with a smashed windshield and side view mirror, and multiple scrapes and dents in the body. Worse yet, truck was rusted badly and needs significant work. As one other reviewer stated, It appears to have bed liner sprayed all over the underbody in an attempt to hide it. There are multiple safety issues with the truck, and is in no way fit to drive. Mike no longer responds to emails or phone calls. Mike took advantage of the fact I placed my trust in him while I was in Iraq. Use extreme caution if doing business here.

Monica C: It's been over a year now since we bought our Subaru Forester from Grow. I don't write very many reviews, but I've been meaning to write this one for a long time now. Grow has my absolute highest recommendation. They will be who we buy our next used car from and our next one and our next one...and that is really saying something since we live three and a half hours from St. Louis, with both Kansas City and Springfield being much closer for us. Driving the extra distance to buy from Grow was the absolute best decision though! They have gone over and above in customer service from start to finish. The dealer we initially dealt with was down to earth and pleasant to do business with. We did not opt to buy the extended warranty plan even though it was a high mileage car, figuring if the car had any major problems they would likely show up during the first three months that Grow guarantees their cars. However, we regretted that decision about three months later when the vehicle developed a major transmission issue. I suspected we were past the three month Grow warranty period, but I was not certain and my paperwork was in the car glove box, 111 miles away from my home. (We had been on our way back from a trip when it had flashed the transmission light and died on the side of the road.) Not having my paperwork to refer to, I called Grow just to verify what exact day our three month warranty was due to expire. As luck would have it, it had expired just four days earlier. Hearing that, I did not expect any assistance from Grow. I could not have been more wrong! Not only did they offer to cover the tow charge, not only did they end up paying nearly the entire bill to get it fixed, but they even called around for me and located a shop near my home that could service the transmission on a Subaru (from my own calling around, I had thought I was either going to have to have the work done in Springfield or Kansas City, but they located a shop in Bolivar, just a hop and skip from my home! They then followed up with me and asked questions about what the shop had recommended and were pleased to hear that the shop was recommending to fix my current transmission rather than replace it. Prior to talking with the Grow folks, I would have thought replacing it was the better option but they explained that it would be replaced with another used transmission and that there was no way of knowing but what the replacement transmission (as old as my transmission) would wind up wearing out at the same place as mine had just another few months or years down the road and I'd be right back in the same boat again. That makes sense. I guess most shops just want to swap out the transmissions because that is easier, but this shop actually knew how to work on Subaru transmissions and were going to replace the actual part that had gone bad in my transmission rather than swapping my current transmission for a salvage transmission. Obviously, I have no mechanical knowledge...but the fellow at Grow did and he followed up with me to hear what the shop had recommended and was pleased when he heard what they were recommending and told me that it sounded like they knew Subarus well. Evidently they did, because my car has run like a top ever since. This Subaru Forester is my favorite car I've ever had in these past 44 years of owning cars and Grow Auto is the best dealership I've ever done business with. They truly do stand behind their cars and treat their customers like family. They are exceptional.

Doug: I purchased a 2021 Lotus Evora from this dealership back in April of 2022, forgot to leave a review but I never completely forget!Overall I was happy with the car but the original salesman, Pinky was as big of a clown as could be. I heard Pinky was let go and not really surprised. I ended up working with the sales manager.. Brian I think but he was great.I purchased this car out of state and it was delivered with swirl marks all over it but I kind of expected that because it was originally a press car.I kept the car for about six months and sold it for something else, nothing against the car but I just wanted to move on but here is the issue. The car was sold to me with an $8,000 option listed and the car did not actually have it. I was completely unaware of this and didn’t even know until a potential buyer caught it. I reached back out to the dealership and props to them, they made things right. For all I know this could’ve been Pinky the clown listing it trying to scam someone but he’s gone and everyone else at the dealership was always super helpful and nice.

I walked around their entire parking lot for 30 minutes, no one came out to speak to me. As a matter of fact I saw several sales reps pass me by- not even a hello. I saw a couple who'd just arrived on the lot and were browsing just like me, the sales rep passed me up, went over to them and asked if they'd been helped.... I am an African American woman and have worked many years in the St. Louis car dealerships, so I know what I am talking about .... This behavior is unacceptable, I will not be purchasing my car at any of their lots.

Less than 200 miles the vehicle has a water pump leak as they quoted me a price of 1200.00 to repair in their service department. Jeff M: I spent two weeks speaking with the people at Dean Team negotiating a deal on a Lamborghini. They represented the car as "clean", "perfect", etc. We negotiated and agreed on a value for a Porsche I was trading and they went as far as sending a sales order with the numbers, but it was curiously unsigned. Based on their representation I gave them my credit card information for a deposit.During the process of trying to schedule a PPI for the car I was purchasing, I was told by the local St. Louis Lamborghini dealer service department they would not have anything to do with any cars that came from Dean Team.This should have been a red flag. In spite of it, I scheduled a pre-purchase inspection of the car for the following week with an independent shop in St. Louis. They salesman at Dean promised to take the car to the shop, but failed to do so - never received a call about it.. When I called to ask why, he stated the trade value they quoted was no longer valid and instead they quoted 10,000 less for my trade. More red flags but I wanted their car as they represented it as being perfect. I renegotiated the deal after much back and forth.I drove from Chicago to St. Louis to do the trade and when I arrived I found the car had evidence of paint work and front end collision damage. I asked if I could inspect the car on a lift and they flatly refused. I knew then what I was dealing with. Needless to say, I walked out. I would never deal with these people again. They attempt to sell high line vehicles, but act as though they are a typical street corner used car lot.

The only reason this gets any star is the gentleman who pulled my car around, he was very friendly.

The staff is rude and claims to be the victim in all situations. This dealership offers little to customers aside from their inability to complete a task in the time they agree to. As a young female, I feel I was further disrespected as the service staff of middle aged men found it easier to push my concerns to the side rather than address them.

This dealership should not be selling cars. This is the only thing that got their attention.The entire staff is unprofessional and untrustworthy. From beginning to the end of the process, nothing happened on time or as promised. When the car arrived, it smelled of cigarette smoke. I tried to remedy the issue and speak to the sales manager, Scott. He too, is a part of the problem. He continued to reiterate that he had 6 people in the car, but no one smelled smoke. He was essentially gas lighting me. I took the car to the local dealer who definitely could also smell the cigarette smoke. But to the current moment, the sales manager continues to ignore my calls. I still haven't received the final bill of sale that was promised to be overnighted by FedEx. Can't even register the car! Avoid this dealership.
Eromoseh Elijah: I was shopping for a car and I saw a Yukon Denali online with a $46, 000 price tag, I called the number to know whether the car is available, Jennifer Crawford picked the call and said the car was available. I drove down to the dealer (DEAM TEAM VOLVO OF ST LOUIS, in Manchester road). A couple of concerns:First, Jennifer told me that the prices online are only for military veterans, so she gave me a new price way more than what was on their website, which is the most ridiculous lies I have heard in a long time.Secondly, I found out the spare tire was not in the car, I demanded a replacement, Jennifer went to talk to her manager, came back to me and said, I have to pay for the replacement of the spare tire.Thirdly, I told Jennifer(sales agent) not to run my credit because I already got an approval from my bank, she told me she cannot run my credit without my authorization. Immediately I left their office, I got an email from Equifax, that DEAN TEAM VOLVO ran a hard credit check on my credit.What Jennifer Crawford did was unprofessional, unethical and unlawful.I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TEAM VOLVO TO ANYONE.

Paul and Brian were very communicative regarding any questions I had pertaining to my purchase. Would absolutely return to purchase another car from them. The cherry on top was the willingness to drop 1k off the already great price of the car. Loved my experience from beginning to end. I felt well taken care of with Paul, Brian, and St Louis Volvo.
B F: The general manager of this dealership, Scott, refused to sell me a vehicle through an out of state purchase until local buyers had an opportunity to purchase the vehicle, or if I used their financing. The local buyers that showed up throughout the day were not interested, as I simultaneously tried to purchase the car for 8 hours. Throughout this time, Scott gave me the run around to allow for local appointments to test drive the car and give them priority. Scott sent me a purchase order without calculated tax to waste more time, and told me he knows more about those appointments than I think, so he won’t take my deposit while I finish the purchase. Once Scott finally allowed me to purchase the car because local buyers weren’t interested, he raised the deposit amount from $1,000 to $3,000 and refused to repair the cracked windshield that ultimately FAILED state inspection (for several reasons). The car was held for days after my bank sent forms and payment because staff were on leave and not checking until I called. I had to become an expert in this process just to keep things moving efficiently. Either this is their way of doing business, or this was personally done towards me as an out-of-state purchaser. Regardless, Scott made sure to make each step of what should be an exciting process, purchasing my first Porsche, the worst sales transaction I’ve experienced.My local friends in Missouri had not heard good things about this dealership, and this transaction grounded those rumors. While I should have listened to their advice, the car kept me in the fight to make this purchase. Please understand, it was a FIGHT.

Mark Thomas: This review is specific to the oil change I just had. It was the first maintenance I’d had on the car since buying it used from this dealer. I was pleased that there was no upsell into a “recommended” service package. The price was fine but it would have been nice to honor the 15% off any service coupon I had just received. Fine print says oil change not included, but the goodwill goes a long way. The oil change took just over an hour, but that included fixing a nail in the tire. The waiting area was quite and clean which I liked.Besides the coupon, the only other bummer was that the car wasn’t run through the wash. I’ve become used to from other mid luxury dealers, although they do push hard on the upsells.Now if I can just get the sales guy to stop ghosting me about the We Owes.

Carter: I wouldn’t recommend taking your car here unless you actually know how much parts are. I brought my no crank no start car here to get it diagnosed, they told me my ECU had failed, $1000 for parts and labor. I didn’t know much about my car at the time, so I thought something major had happened. Although I didn’t get it done, it really showed me the type of mechanics who work here. I was able to find a replacement ECU online for literally $200, programmed to my VIN and ready to plug in to my car. It’s not like the labor would’ve cost a lot since I unplugged my ECU in 5 minutes myself. Not sure if they were trying to pull a fast one or just “be nice”, but they offered to cover the diagnostic fees if I let them have the car. Which would have made them a hefty profit. Oh, and they never even called me to tell me they had finished the diagnosis. I had to call them myself a week after I dropped it off to see what happened to it. I’d recommend the shop across the street because at least they called me when my car was ready 😐

They refused my money back told me the car was under Warranty but they never fixed the problem. I had to call the police and I am taking them to court! Please do not waste your money with these unprofessional people they used racist slurs and arguing me up and down for a good 30 minutes over my check engine light!
