Road Crew Coffee & Cycles: what do users think?
Katie Marshall: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Alli H: Their vanilla lattes are divine
Marina Perez-Plazola: Fantastic coffee shop and bike store; the lattes are yummy, the atmosphere is great for studying, and the people at the bike shop are so knowledgeable and nice
Eduardo Sequeira: Overall the service was pretty good. A bit over priced but the coffee quality worth the money
Kate Smith: Always excellent, personable service. Especially from Toph. Smooth coffee. Many milk options! Seasonal drinks are always interesting and unique. Love the homemade pastries!
Suzanne Chisum: Great neighborhood spot to get a cup of coffee. You need not be a cyclist to enjoy the brew. The coffee is full of flavor. The space is open and clean with displays of bikes and things related to cycling. The large windows make the space appear larger than it is.I will be returning. Won’t you join me?
M.Shahbaz Ehsan: Very nice to meet the staff... Very helpful
Arthur Schierhoff: Great coffee and a nice selection of other drinks as well.
Kate B: This is a nice quiet Cafe with a limited coffee menu and delicious but small bakery menu. The pride they have in their establishment comes through - friendly and chill atmosphere. They only have vanilla syrup - so no extravagant latte options - they have Blueprint and other high quality coffee drips, and espresso options like latte, americano, cortado etc. Def. Comet coffee vibes. I need seasonal latte options and maybe a protein breakfast option so this may not be a future go to for me, but a great place to enjoy a nice cup and the sunshine through their big windows.
Eric Mishne: TLDR: delish and nice place to chill. They serve Blueprint coffee, which is an automatic 4 stars for the place, and they know how to prepare it, giving them another star. The location is great and the vibe is chill. Very chill. It was very quiet in there, which was not good for conversation, but great for head down solo working. My only issue is that it was on the pricy side of coffee. With a $1 tip I paid over 6 bucks for a vanilla latte.
Dustin Barrett: Great place, great staff, great vibes.
Mallory Rukhsana Nezam: Love this spot. Local Whisk baked goods are a plus, great beverages beyond coffee, including alcohol. The wifi is almost non-existent, so plan accordingly. The patio is a struggle if it’s sunny and you have a laptop, but it’s a great patio to meet up with a friend. Overall, a joy.
Sarah Jaworski: Bottomless coffee for $4.50... I'll just leave it at that. Such a good vibe and the barista could not have been nicer.
Brittany: Expensive coffee with no size options. Overall good atmosphere. The barista is kind of rude but I’ll take it as he was having a bad day
Marit Ivory: Great local coffee shop. They have about 3 drip coffees offered. Plenty of lattes. Seating for about 20 inside and more seating outside. The baked goods looked AMAZING. You can buy beans to go. There was a mini library (books to buy? Borrow?). As of August 2022 masks were required inside. This rule was enforced.
Drew Andrews: Kinda Shocked at the high rating here! I came in with a 50% off coupon that I got through “entertainment book.” Yet it was almost $5 at 50% off. [The bicycle guy I spoke with was great however, this complaint is only about the coffee.] I was basically talked into a Coffee Latte. I said that I was wanting something strong not something mostly milk. However, he said there was two espresso shots in it; so, I agreed & I then asked can you make it a double. He said so you want four shots of espresso? I said well that’s maybe too much, how about three? so as I’m talking to the bike guy he brings me the coffee and gives me an iced coffee… His solution was to waste that one and to make another one… So now I have what to me seems like a one shot coffee with mostly water and milk in a 12-14 oz cup… It wasn’t strong at all! And it cost almost $10 before the discount! Sheesh!!! How about asking hot or cold or what size do you want? Come on get it together people…!!! The store was not crowded at all!
Amaris Peters: A very modern, unique concept combining coffee and cycling. They had a lot of students studying in the dining area and a great atmosphere for it, with a lot of window seats and low music to complement studying or socializing. My husband and I do not currently cycle as a hobby so we did not participate in that portion of the establishment, but it looks like they had a solid amount of quality cycling merchandise with its own cashier and storefront.Coffee wise, we both enjoyed our coffees, we got lattes and an espresso tonic. We sipped our drinks and studied for a couple hours for an enjoyable and productive time of reading and studying. Would love to come back sometime, especially once we get into cycling! A fun stop on the journey, for sure.
Justin Craddock: Had an excellent mocha. And the atmosphere is very cool with the bikes.
E v i e W e s n e r: Great brasilian pour over!
Naut Astro: Good people . Nice place . It's a big pleasure to have intelligent conversation with them and buy something new for your bike , or a whole new bike )😊👍
Jack Churchill: Wonderful tea selection. Very quiet and peaceful. Live plants on every table. Fancy tea carafes!!

Mike's Bikes STL: what do users think?
John Landes: Good people, fair prices, great ser ice.
Jonnathan J Rodriguez: Nice experience, when there without appt and dropped off the bikes for a tune up, picked them up a few days later and took the for a ride around Forest park over the weekend. They feel great, appreciate the work they put on them! Totally recommended, might be back for some accessories. Go and check it out, they also sell and rent bikes, in case you have some friends and in town and want to show them the park.
Rishi Gattu: I thought this was a really honest bike shop. They did not try to upsell me anything, but helped me with what I needed. Both Eric and Matt were very helpful and nice. I will definitely be bringing my bikes here in the future.
Oliver Fend: I want to be fair to my local bike shop. This is the place I got within walking or biking distance after all. People here are friendly. When I had issues with my back cog on my fixie the mechanic made sure I went out the door with a functional bike that was safe to ride. When the time and care is put into my ride, it doesn't go unnoticed.I could complain about the prices, but I'm not the one who dominates the market in the CWE. The prices reflect the local economy which consists of the geared out dentist in a bright matching kit who rides for leisure.Where I have the biggest issue is that sometimes the priority is making a buck rather than honesty. I'm the last head in the area you should bust. I work as a bike messenger. I ride my bike in the city daily. When I come in for fresh tires I need durable lasting tires designed for STL streets. I can't be sold soft racing tires marketed to me as long lasting. Those tires lasted me a week. I understand wanting to help, but I wish it was a little more straight up. Situations like this break my confidence in this place. Big shark had tires for the same price designed for what I do. I could feel the difference on my thumb and index finger.I know more about bikes than the average Joe. It's my job to ride one. However I don't know everything, so my first inclination is to trust those who are around the parts all day.
Jezzabelle Arnold: Wow! Fixed my bike within a day, and when another part loosened I had it fixed in fifteen minutes! Paid less than I expected to, and on top of that not one bit of rudeness or condescension when I didn't know something! Almost perfect, only thing wrong with it is how hard it is to find from the street. It's in a grey building :)
Shauna Montoya: I absolutely would recommend Mike's Bikes to anyone needing work on their bike in STL. I have had an unprecedented number of fixes required as I use my bike to commute and they've always helped me with a fast turnaround and incredibly reasonable pricing. The guys that work in the shop are also very friendly and welcoming. I'm sure I'll be back in the shop soon, but so should you if you need any help with bikes
Taylor Bushnell: Eric at Mike's Bikes is a bike Wizard. I was having issues with my alignment of my single speed mountain bike and he problem solved and fixed it in no time. I would trust them with all my bike needs.
Brian Smith: Very friendly and helpful service.. I had a question about a bottom bracket (as they are a bit confusing with all the different specs that I guess are needed to purchase one: chainline, asymmetrical vs symmetrical, etc. ) and all was thankfully simplified by these guys..
Karen Ohara: I heard from friends they're fantastic
D. Dash: The guys at the shop do a great job, very professional. Got a much needed tune-up which needed further tweaking afterwards (internal hub)...they were responsive and got it fixed right away. Definitely recommend them for bike work.
Erik Edmonds: Great technicians, they really know their stuff. They aren’t just trying to make a sale, they want to make sure you get the bike that’s right for you.
Nicholas Gros: Brought my Heybike Mars and Lectric XP 2.0 to get the brakes adjusted and tires changed and they were super helpful. I brought it in Tuesday evening and got it back Wednesday morning. Reasonable price as well!
Yael Paley: Friendly people and great service! Got a flat tire and they replaced the tube in minutes. Came back the next day because I had taken the tire off but didn't know how to put it back on 😂 they showed me how to do it!
Joe Rubio: Fantastic service! Really thorough and knowledgeable team. Got a complete overhaul done here and 100% worth it. Will definitely be coming back!
Robert Gholston: Amazing customer service, the guys here really know their stuff and are quick and efficient with their service. Never been a cyclist before but coming here was the perfect introduction to it. Would rate 10/5 if I could!
Joseph Cherabie: Honestly the best customer service, always willing to help, educate, and accommodate. Recommend them to everyone!
JinSun Lee: I bought a really lovely bike and all the accessories here. The two bro were really kind and expert. I should have bought it earlier! Their brands worth the money. Thanks!!!!!! I love this store.
Carl Niermann: Fast, efficient service changing my tube after a valve ish this morning. I'll be back.Update: The bolt that held my seat on the post sheared off during a ride yesterday. I couldn't recover one of the mounting plates (lost in the weeds). Today the staff replaced my seat post in 15 minutes. Quick, easy, affordable. Great staff and service.
Joseph Roberts: The guy there was very polite and understanding. They easily serviced my needs,8 need minor repairs to my wheelchair
chaun walker: I dropped my son’s bike off because I tried to change the back brake cable and replace the brake pads.Long story short it didn’t go as planned LOL. I received a call about a week after I dropped off the bike and the person told me, I needed front and back brakes mind you I was just working on the bike so I know the front brakes were good. Next my rear wheel was bent LOL. With all the MYSTERY REPAIRS TOTAL WILL BE 165.00. I KINDLY WENT AND GOT THE PICKED UP THE BIKE. That same day I dropped off the bike at BICYCLES OF KIRKWOOD!!!!! I JUST PICKED THE BIKE UP AND MY BILL WAS A TOTAL OF 60.00 I WOULD UPLOAD THE RECEIPT IF POSSIBLE... Guess what he charged me for a BIKE TUNEUP!!!!! MIKES BIKE SHOP IS A RIPOFF!!!!!!
Andrew V: Nice locally-owned shop, always honest and fair pricing. Keeps my daily commuter running just right. New to the area but will be back.

Trek Bicycle St. Louis Ballwin: what do users think?
ThatDude6foot6: Great service . Keep up the good work
Darren Deatz: Had a great experience buying my new Domane here. Huge selection in stock and ready to take home.
Gene Bertram: Keeping my bike 🚲 in great shape and they appreciate the donuts I sometimes bring.
Daren E: Trek Ballwin was great to work with upgrading my Emonda. The parts were ordered and came in very quickly. They did an excellent job installing all of the upgrades while I was busy at my son’s baseball tournament. I’m very happy with how they transformed my bike! Thanks guys!
Kelly Wheeler: The best bike store around. You won’t find a friendly, more helpful or knowledgeable staff!
Ganesh Nanjundaiah: Love the bike and staff here at Manchester ❤️
Leland Delgado: Excellent staff, quick to help and answer questions.
Debbie Dunevant: Just the nicest and friendliest staff. They went above and beyond with exceptional service. Everyone was knowledgeable and took their time to answer all questions. This store is top notch.
John Lowe: Wonderful team! Thanks again everyone.
Don Schuh: I brought in my 12 year old abused Trek HiFi. I have had the suspension, bearings, brakes etc. rebuilt numerous times. The parts list is about 18” long but the cost was very reasonable. It still has all of its scars, but it functions like new after this rebuild. These folks know what they are doing and exceeded expectations. Excellent job Clayton and Team!
Gavin Pratt: I took my bike in for a service as it would not shift correctly. I spoke with the service manager Colton. I have my bike back now and it shifts perfectly. I would like to say that I have never experienced such great customer service. The problem was identified, throughly explained to me, and fixed within two days. Furthermore, I went ahead and purchased a level 2 maintenence package as there was a sale and i needed it. My bike is as clean as the day I purchased it. I really couldn't believe it. Lastly I think its important to know that I didn't buy my trek at this location, but the respect and customer service here makes you feel like a part of the family. I will always use there services from this point on. Thank you and support local!
Jim Welby: Great experience and Robbie was great to work with.
Matt Post: Huge bike and accessories selection plus a fantastically knowledgeable and friendly staff. I wish I lived closer by!
Carol Leaderbrand: A customer of 7 years and I have not been disappointed.
Jake McDonald: Colin was a big help at finding me a great bike. And he was very kind to me and my dad!
Susan Law: I was in yesterday to troubleshoot my pedal clips and shoes and get a seat adjustment. I felt I was in good hands with Chad who assisted me. He solved both of my issues and made sure I was comfortable with my seat height and new pedals/clips before sending me on my way. I bought a new Trek Domane bike in March of '21 and love the bike and the purchase experience. It is what keeps me coming back to this Trek store for service and products. I always feel as if I'm in capable hands and getting great products, service, and advice.
Goldfinger: Friendly staff and fixed the bike’s shifting issues on time as promised.
Claralyn Bollinger: Friendly and knowledgeable salesperson answered all my questions about bike head and tail lights. Thanks for your insights!
Jon Denning: Great shop, always a pleasure to stop in. Friendly and helpful staff.
Robin: Amazing staff. Awesome service. I love my bike. The whole shopping experience at the Trek Bicycle Store was terrific and I highly recommend them.
Joey Yeaple: Trek is full of energetic, knowledgeable people. I trust them with my bike!

The Touring Cyclist: what do users think?
david young: Great service. Very helpful with finding the right size bike.
Mark E: This store, especially the staff are amazing! Susan the (Owner) took her time out to not only let me test ride 6 different bikes but beforehand she educated me on the differences of each bike. I came into the store not really knowing anything about all these newer bikes out on the current market and I left very confident in my selection. Susan was very patient the entire time and I felt like she truly wanted me to pick out the best bike for my needs. I couldn't be happier with my decision. Susan and the staff had the bike fully assembled by the time I got there, and it was ready to go! The cost for the bike was comparable, if not better than online prices but honestly for the treatment I received and the opportunity to test ride each bike out before making a purchase was hands down better than anything I found online. Thanks again for the great service!
Tara Triplett: Susan is the best. she knows her stuff about bikes...
Ashley Lowe: Touring Cyclist are true experts at their craft. They have state of the art bicycles and their repair and enhancement service is beyond amazing. Thank you for everything you and your staff do. Your service is amazing. Without a doubt!
Renata Taylor: Susan helped me get air in my tires and taught me some tricks along the way. So grateful to have a place like this in my neighborhood. I appreciate all of your help...you have a lifetime customer! ❤️
Greg Law: Terrible! Showed up at 9:56 am. Door was unlocked and open. “Open” sign lit up. Chased out because don’t open til 10 and very rude about it
Sam Sanders: Very personable local business and a premier vendor. Sometimes they don't realize how great they are.
Todd Seagraves: The staff was so helpful and was able to answer all my questions and really help me out. Very knowledgeable and nice
Dave Seidel: The pandemic has devastated the cycling industry. Finding new bikes is almost impossible. Susan has been open about when my new bike will be available. They have a good selection of accessories and were able to get me new bike shoes and clips so I can continue to use my current bike until the more ones come in. Sean is knowledgeable and helped install my new clips and set my shoes perfectly. Local store with friendly staff.
Debbie Woehler: Always prompt service. Personable owners.
Michael Thuman: Awesome staff, great selection, enjoyable experience. Definitely worth the time.
Fonda Dean: My 1st time going to this bicycle shop so far so good very pleasant
Jane Doe: I just got 965 26" tires from Susan! Awesome place!!!!
Thomas Wiegand: This is by far the best bike shop here far and wide and very, very friendly, many thanks again you have helped me a lot, greetings, the big fat German guy with the black hardtail 29
John Woehler: Great prices and very helpful owners.
Jody Spencer: A busy place on Saturday afternoon. They had exactly what I needed, with knowledgeable, quick service. We could have been in & out in about 10 mins if they didn't have so many great bikes to ogle and drool over!!
Alisha Oliver: Shawn was very helpful and Great with his craft.
Anthony Balestreri: Great customer service. Best bike shop in the stl area!
Alexandra Ohanian: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I dropped my bike off to them on a Tuesday to change an inner tube(i even brought the new one with me)and was told I could pick up that Friday. Friday comes along I call 2 times and leave a message then again Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. NOONE RESPONDS TO MY NUMEROUS CALLS AND VOICEMAILS which were made durning and after business hours. So Tuesday afternoon i go up there durning store hours and they have the doors locked. So i call, noone answers, so i knock. I see the owner and a kid(16) inside. I could see them both while i knock and stand there. The owner finally then sends the kid to the door. I told him I was there for my finished bike, he let me know they havnt fixed my bike and brings me my bike. When he gets to me he JUST DROPS it on the ground. So i request the owner. She cant give me a reason to why THE 10 voicemails and numerous calls weren't responded to, beside she was busy answering emails.Dont waste your time or money with this place!ALSO THE OWNER WAS BEYOND RUDE.
joe p: Visited 4 local bike shops while looking for a new bike, This was the first shop the staff actually even looked at me. I was greeted within seconds of walking and and we test ridding a bike less than 5 mins later. Very pleased with them so far. I'll be back to get my wife a better bike soon I'm sure. I plan to recommend them to several coworkers.
Christina Moss: Every time I visit the staff is very personable. I never feel like I'm rushed to make a purchase and they freely share their knowledge.

The Bike Center: what do users think?
Dennis Byrd: Walking from the parking garage to the pier, our daughter's wheelchair lost one small screw and a second had worked it's way loose. We stopped here and asked if they had Allen wrenches and the young man came out and tightened the screw for us. Great service!
Michael Snodgrass: Great experience with Steve. Very friendly and helpful
VINCENT DEBLASI: Stephen and Scott were so helpful and made me feel welcome. Bc of their expertise, I bought a bike that feel s like it was custom made for me. I'll be back. Ty, guys.Vince
Gary Bledsoe: I'm not a regular customer, but I do give The Bike Center a sales opportunity when I need something. Scott can answer any question as can the employees. The shop normally has good inventory in terms of bikes, parts and accessories. And they are always friendly.
Don Derse: Repair job, well done and fast turn around. Great job.
corey jedi: Really great selection especially for the size of shop, very helpful!
Kody Rowe: One of the best selections around with a shop full of staff that are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Shop here if you want a great experience!
Blake Street: Friendly and welcoming staff. They don't put off the "I'm all business" vibe. I came in for service and concerns about creaks. They took care of what I mentioned to them with a fast turn around and at a reasonable price. Scott who is very friendly, went over with what he found going on with my bike and what was done.
Haris V: Fast and easy process
Edward Kienzle: Guys were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable
Diane Rich: Great service! Great advice!Never had any problems ♡
Tim Ernst: Awesome guys to work with who know how to take care of customers.
Teresa Cash: We drove 3 hours to get to The Bike Shop and we had a wonderful experience. Scott the owner was so friendly and knowledgeable of the specific Pivot bike we were looking for. He did a excellent job orientating to the bike. I will definitely tell all my bike friends . If you don’t buy your bike at The Bike Center it’s your loss. They are great! From Kentucky
James Fredeking: I went in with a large purchase in mind. I was waited on quickly and professionally. I tried what they had in the store but it wasn't what I was needing and asked if they could get what I was looking for. The salesman said the owner would call me after he did his research. After a week of not hearing back I called him but he was not available. I was again told he would call me which he never did so I made my purchase at a store that acted like they wanted my business.
andy brueck: The most knowledgeable and helpful shop in StL. The staff and owner went above and beyond to help me get exactly what I’m looking for. I’m not exactly well versed in the cycling industry but they made me feel at home. The shop is great as well. Small business at its best. Since the epidemic it’s been hard to find a shop with good inventory. Everyone seems low on bikes. The Bike Center seems to go the extra mile to get you what you want. 1 reviewer stated they didn’t want his business and left a bad review???? Come on....... it’s funny how that’s the only review that’s bad about this shop. Seems to be self explanatory about the reviewer. Shops are busy. Bikes are tough to get. No need to spread your negativity because you didn’t get your way. I highly recommend going here for all you cycling needs.
Diane Heuvelman: Very helpful employee. I live the bikes they had.
Bryan Webb: Very knowledgeable. Great selection. Willing to help with any customizations you might need. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Raul Ortiz: Gut
Jacob Casby: When I couldn’t find the bike i wanted in Kansas City, the bike center had it in stock. The owner Scott worked with my schedule and opened up the shop for a bit for me on a day they’re closed. Great friendly service and I couldn’t recommend highly enough.
JOHN Gmail: Very helpful - were looking at e-bikes.
Mudbogjoker: We came all the way from Alabama to get a bike because our bike shop didn't have any and they were great!

Big Shark Bicycle Company: what do users think?
Cody Masching: I bought the Superwaffle bike and got obliterated by a car and there is barely a scratch on the bike! Overall fantastic bikes with excellent customer service!
Molly Wagner: We love this business. I honestly can’t say enough good things about their service and all the people who work there. We have 7 kids and have probably bought close to 15 bikes from them over the years. Every purchase has been easy. They help our kids pick out an appropriate bike without pressure to buy the most expensive bike. Yesterday, I brought my 10 year old to pick up a new bike we had ordered last week. One employee spent about 10 minutes teaching him how to work the gears while they had the bike suspended in a device to let him practice. The gentleman was patient and treated my son like an adult. This store is a gem. Cannot recommend enough. Kudos to the owner for hiring and training excellent employees. Great customer service will always have us coming back
Arthur Schierhoff: Updated review, was disappointed that downtown location had closed, but the new Foundry location is very nice.
Thomas Zoumaras: Among the best bicycle shops in the US. Great mechanics, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and a wide selection at three locations. Mike Weiss, the owner, is dedicated to providing great service and outstanding products at a fair price.
Richard Anderson: These guys did a great job. Dave was awesome helping us decide on sizes. Mark, KC, and Mike delivered on service and a great experience.
Angel Chevrestt: Awful experience with this bike shop. Salesman/manager Kayce Peters wins the prize for the most unprofessional and immature bicycle salesman. Communication and customer-relation skills severely lacking, and an over-all bad attitude. He behaved as if it were a real chore for him to have to sell a custom-build bicycle worth over $2700. He was eager to charge the money for the sale but not willing to earn it.I took my business elsewhere and it worked out well.
Josh C: Stopped by today, first time customer. They quickly got the gears adjusted on an old bike I acquired from a family member and looked over it for me.The technician who serviced it was very informative and filled me in on some of the details on the older bike before I get out on it.I was impressed by the customer service and will return for future service or when time comes for a new one.
Hal Burroughs: Go to spot for cycling gear and service in St. Louis.
Brian Ferrari: Super helpful staff, great selection of options, brands, and range of prices available.Would highly recommend any of the Big Sharks in STL. Theyll also order bikes for you they might not have in stock and build it out for you when it arrives!
Sam Freedman: Best place to buy a bike. Thier bike maintenance and customer service program is the best.
Karen Ohara: Assume I'm going back in August
ryn alchemist: Used to be a great bike shop. Seems some idea of customer service has left the building. Seems the service is chaotic. Wish I could say it’s the new employees… but it’s actually the senior employees. Save the attitude for improving your team. I won’t purchase another product from this shop/company. I’ll take my free tune ups for life but that it’s.
Tosha Pearson-Royston: Still no bike!!! After visiting this store three times I've yet to be contacted about any of the 3 bikes they were supposed to pull from the warehouse and build. Men in the store are very knowledgeable and helpful, but the follow through is seriously lacking. It's been over 3 weeks now and I haven't received a call. Very disappointing.
Tom R: I want to thank Dan Golde at Big Shark West for his knowledge and expertise. He's always a big help!
Bonita Newby: I told them that I use my bike for commute to work mostly. Ever since day one they have taken care of my bike in more ways than one. Plus the free tune ups you get. I tried going someplace else.I ended up going right back to them that same day. I guess I'm here to stay. Plus you get your money's worth.
Alex Armstrong: Terrible experience. I went in there to simply get new inner tubes and see if they would put them on. I was not informed that they would charge you $10 a wheel for "labor" so the total came out to a whopping $37.52! Not only was I blindsided but the owner was extremely creepy and weird when talking too. I would at all cost avoid this place. He knew all along what he was doing and decided to pull a fast one instead of simply telling me ahead of time. Any person can fill up a tire and install it.... I just don't own a bike pump but could've and should've gone to QT for free air. If you want passive aggressive arrogance this is Definitely your store. Ugh I feel cheated and disrespected. The attitude in there was so thick you need a mask to protect yourself from them. I was actually considering even buying a bike from these clowns too. But pennywise, dollar foolish on their behalf. Now you have been warned of their ways and I highly suggest going elsewhere for better service and deals.
Wayne Woods: A professional and friendly bike shop. Highly recommended
Dennis Carter: How does a bike shop not know how to fix a bike they sold?
the detail dude: They some how did the impossible and had the exact bike I was looking for being built back in summer arrival date was mid December I didn't hold my breath with how crazy bikes are right now but here we are dec 15th the day they hoped to deliver it to me and im in possession of my new giant! One star deducted for them being mask police..but no hard feelings i will recommend..
Luci Olewinski: I was in town for a race over Labor Day weekend when my right/rear shifter died. Despite it being a busy weekend, they quickly discovered the problem, found the last compatible shifter in the shop, and put it on that day. Usually this would be a many day wait for that service, but they went out of their way knowing I wanted to race later that day. I'm feeling cautious writing this review- it's not nice to advertise that a shop will magically fix things the same day, because of course they need time to do a job well and I don't want to encourage people to show up last minute expecting things to get fixed pronto. But I do want to express my gratitude at the service I got and how nice they were throughout the whole process.
Tim Gray: Superb customer service!!

South Side Cyclery: what do users think?
Jean Andre: Excellent atmosphere! They are friendly, knowledgeable and have Great Service at a fair price!
Jason Jones: Eli took care of us quite well. We were taken care of us and left with a fantastic blue Fuji bike with fun accessories.
Melissa X: Brought my used Fuji in for a tune-up, tape, and new chain and everyone at South Side Cyclery was completely awesome. They even finished my work a day early! You can tell these folks really love the sport and I look forward to my next visit. The store is clean and beautiful, the people good, the service was solid, and my bike is in perfect condition. If you love the art of cycling, this is your temple.
Tiffany Peters: I stopped in today since we were visiting the city and they had a Cannondale I was interested in. I was immediately greeted by and had conversations with both people on the floor. I told them I wasn't intending on buying and even then, they gave me great customer service and didn't act like I was wasting their time. I will definitely make the 2 hour drive to them when I'm finally ready to upgrade my bike!
Jefferson: Everything you want and a whole lot more! I brought my toddler in and a staff member was patient and inclusive, we stayed much longer than anticipated!
Ashley Winkler: Great place and wonderful, knowledgeable people work here! I have come in multiple times with problems I thought would take hours/days/weeks to resolve and every single time I’m out of there within 30 minutes with a smile on my face and a bike in exceptional condition. Thank you South Side Cyclery for answering all of my many questions and just being amazing all around!
Brett Nejmanowski: I have known TK the owner for going on thirty years and can tell you this guy knows his stuff. I used to race on the Schwinn Homegrown mountain bike team with him so I have first hand knowledge of his experience in the racing and biking industry. I also worked with him at a bike shop. He is the guy you can go to for anything: race advice, mechanical advice, and sales advice. That’s my kinda guy. This is the spot for bikes.
Darren M: South Side Cyclery is the best! The owners and staff are amazing and will set you up with a new bike or help you take care of your existing ones. The shop promotes an inclusive cycling community and hosts weekly rides throughout spring, summer, and fall. Definitely go here if you're in the market for a new bike or need maintenance or gear!
M Jones: South Side Cyclery is truly a local treasure. Great service and source of information. Tim sold me the bike I am presently riding. He and his team have been my source for parts and performing the maintenance. South City is fortunate to have a mom-and-pop business that takes such pride in their work.
Stephen Magoc: South Side Cyclery allowed me to deliver an adult trike to them that I purchased somewhere else. The shop assembled it very quickly and had it ready to ride for me - all at a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with the work done on my trike and recommend them highly!
Jennifer Green: They did same-day repair and tune up on my bike and did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to go for bike needs.
Mitchell Hackleman: Adam and Kyle were both super helpful with my Ebike! These guys know what they're talking about and go above and beyond to help their customers. Will definitely do business with them in the future.
Christine Mueller: I just retired and wanted to get back into cycling after 5 years away from riding. A friend suggested South Side Cyclery because the staff is so knowledgeable. Owners Tim & Deanna are amazing! Deanna started by understanding my needs and current skill set. She spent over an hour with me getting the right fit and making sure I was comfortable with the Liv bike (brand dedicated to women) that I had selected. The entire staff is friendly and their customer service is outstanding! If I could give more than five stars for this review, I would!
Christina Stephens: I asked the staff here if they could give me some old bike tires they were otherwise throwing away to use to make traction strips for my son’s power wheels. They told me they would save some and the next day I came back and they had some tires for me for free. Yay recycling!
michael nerl: The work I've gotten there has always come out correct. Recently this has been a chain and tires over about a year. Their selection is better now that things are getting back to 'normal'. Last trip I had was somewhat obnoxious as the younger person at the register kept trying to upsell me on $400+ worth of stuff when I needed/came in for far less than that. However I did ultimately get what I was looking for and I have been satisfied with the quality.
Mike Davis: I recently moved from Boston to St Louis in March and was looking for a new bicycle repair shop for my bike. The previous shop I attended really took care of my prize possession and I had high hopes based on reviews this place would do the same.My bike went in for about a week of overdue service and after it came back, I did not recognize it! They did a phenomenal job and you can really see the attention to detail required to get this unit back to near new again.South Side, thanks for you help. It's a rarity in our society where people actually deliver on what they promise and your shop nailed it! You have a customer for life.
Austin Hester: Knowledgeable and Helpful
John “Chicken hawk” Klingbeil: Love the place I been going there for over 10 years
Russell Mase: Great selection of bikes. Most friendliest and personable staff you could hope to meet, with a wealth of information.
Uncle Chad: New Owners are Great. Excellent Service.
lonnie Hughes: I recently purchased a fold down bike rack from them and the attention to detail was amazing. They took the time to show me at least 4 different types of bike racks and made suggestions between the ones they thought would work best for me. I appreciated the attention to detail. I would high recommend them for all your bicycle needs.

Wheelhouse Bicycle: what do users think?
Carla Rainey: Needed a pedal, very helpful thank you!!
Scott kittredge: These guys saved our ride last night. After I changed a tire at home I stripped an older bolt to my quick release. I brought it in and they quickly fixed the issue and my son and I were able to enjoy our ride that night!
Bill Ross: Very Friendly and helpful. Had a little problem with a accessory I purchased, they fixed the issue and went ahead and installed it for me while I was there. I will shop there again.
Jacob Huss: Incredible bike store! Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff. I went in looking to buy a replacement part and they ended up fixing up my old part for free. I was thinking about getting a new bike, so I asked them about what they recommended and they did a great job figuring out which one fit my needs.
Debbie Rosemann: Hey this is Tim. Wanted to give a shout out to Wheelhouse bicycle shop at the corner off Ballas and Olive in Creve Coeur. I have an older Specialized Hardrock Sport that they have magically turned into an Awesome MTB. Nathan and Aaron work the shop and have been a wealth of information to me on both bike mechanics and good places to ride. Highly recommend this bike shop. They care!!Posted by Tim Rosemann( had to use wife’s phone)
Riley Keleher: Best bike shop around! Nathan and his team always take the best care of their customers!
Evan Kuhl: Always a great shop! Bought my road bike here and Nathan and team is always available and able to help it with any questions or anything you might need. Just recently brought my bike in for a tune up and Aaron and Nathan spent hours redoing the Di2 cabling to make it cleaner. Always going above and beyond. Highly recommend!
brittany hughes: I walked in with my 4 year olds bike that I put together following directions but some parts were still loose. I brought it here to Wheehouse and he made the quick adjustments for me while I waited plus tightened everything up for me. I’d highly recommend!
Jacob Rosen: Nathan at Wheelhouse hooked me up. Came in looking for a part for my older Dura-ace shifters. He took the time to sit down to try to find them online, which unfortunately didn't pan out. As a last ditch effort he ended up finding it in a drawer of parts in the back and gave me a great price. Thank you Nathan and Wheelhouse, I will be back.
Matt Bushmann: I brought my daughter’s bike into Wheelhouse due to the tire being out of wack. The staff was able to resolve the issue right on the spot and save me another trip. The employee also shared tips to prevent it from happening in the future. I’ll be going back for my next bike needs. Thank you!
Jackie Jaques: Best place to get help! Both gentlemen where knowledgeable and friendly!! I will definitely be back
Matthew Mo: Stopped by for a unique flange nut for a broken shifter. They gave me one for free! This is a great shop and I will be back! Thx!
Alisha Showalter: Outstanding service! I came in needing assistance with a stroller wheel and Nathan went above and beyond to help. Highly recommend!
Ryan Rader: Quick, courteous, and fair priced.
Brian Stiles: Nathan was awesome! He helped me get the right parts for my bike. Fantastic experience!ThanksBrian @ Plaza
Gena Napier: Great bicycle store. I stopped in at the last minute to get a mountain bike helmet after mine broke. The staff wasn’t pushy at all. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me find just what I needed so I wouldn’t miss out on my day of biking. Excellent!
Brian Hastings: So far, I've only bought components at Wheelhouse, but every time I go in there, its a good experience. Someone will listen to you and try to meet your needs, even if its not a whole bike. Recommended.
Dan K: Excellent service. I do all my bike repairs at wheelhouse now and couldn’t be happier.
Joe Szymkowicz: I've taken my bike to Wheelhouse several times for maintenance and parts work, and they are always very nice and do great work. This has become my go-to bike shop.
sam badowi: Knowledgable & friendly. Owner/salesperson has a true passion for his product line far beyond making a sale. It is refreshing. Highly recommended !
Judy Schnell: I had a flat tire on the rear tire of my e-bike this morning, so I took it to Wheelhouse. From the time I arrived until I was out the door and riding was less than 30 minutes, and the price was right. The cause of the flat was something on the rim, not a puncture, which I would have missed had I changed it myself and the problem would have happened again sometime. Great service, nice guys!

Recycled Cycles & Service: what do users think?
Ramin Melikov: There is no bike shop at this address and nobody answered the phone
Michael Hall: Paul knows a lot about bicycles. Had him fix up an old Terry road bike for a friend. replaced 4 spokes, tuned up and repaired broken shifters. would do business with again.
RES: Paul is amazing. He is always very helpful and sure does know his business! I feel like he is the Harvard professor of all things to do with bikes. I learn new things each time I go to him. I bought my Raleigh bike from Paul and I love it. His customer service is really top notch and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. I am glad I found his place!!
Agha Ali: This place needs appointment, beforehand.I was allowed, without appointment as he was free. A good place if you have passion for cycling. He knows a lot and helps you out of the way.
Matt Taylor: Great experience! I just bought a hybrid bike from Paul at Recycled Cycles and the buying experience went as well as I could have hoped. Paul is extremely knowledgeable about bikes and is very passionate about his business. He taught me everything I need to know about riding, care and maintenance, and general things. His prices are very competitive and I am quite satisfied with my purchase!
Robert Schurz: I bought my first road bike from Paul. He is very passionate about bikes. In fact, he quit engineering just to run his bike hobby full time. He is very intelligent and will come up with innovative solutions to fit different components on the bike. For example, only one of the shifters on the bike I have was broken, so he replaced it with a newer shifter that uses a different mechanism. He taught me (a beginner) how to ride, adjust, and fix my road bike. He went above and beyond to fit the bike to my needs. All his bikes come with a 90 day warranty, which is great. I've now had the bike, which I use to commute every day, for 7 months. I'm very satisfied with the bike and will definitely go to him again for any repairs and tuning! The Recycled Cycles are sold at a very reasonable price compared to other bike giants. I paid ~$600 for a bike that would normally cost over $1000. For any skill level, Paul will find or build you a bike to fit your needs!
Jeffrey Wolf: Made my first purchase from Paul recently after viewing his website for years. He was straightforward, knowledgeable , and had a good sense of humor. Customer service was excellent and he was helpful and patient as I experienced some slight fitting issues with my bike. I could not be more pleased with this transaction, and have no qualms giving Recycled Cycles and Service my highest recommendation.
Federico G. Peña: I found Paul to be very knowledgeable, conscientious, and more than fair. Paul is a straight shooter that's more concerned with "giving it to you straight" than having exchanges full of niceties and fluff. I like that. I will do business with Paul again for sure.
Juan Rodriguez: Paul is first and foremost a lover of bikes. He has some great bikes with a mix of very good components. If you are looking for a great deal, and bike from road, trail, competition and others without breaking the bank - then Paul is your guy!! He does not talk down to you but educates you with some great knowledge and will answer any and all your questions.
high5en: My father recommended Paul to me after I had a LBS really did a number on an old bike of mine. Paul was professional and extremely knowledgeable and it was a pleasure dealing with him. You can tell that he really loves bikes and will be happy to chat with you about bike history if you love bikes as well. His in house workshop is clean and orderly, and you will sleep soundly knowing that your bike is in the hands of an experienced bicycle mechanic rather than with a fly by night kid working a summer job.
